French Authorities Seek The Gunmen Who Kill 12!

The European Union and the United States today condemns an attack today at a satirical French newspaper that killed 12 people.

This newspaper known as the Charlie Hebdo was in the news some years ago after some its writers and illustrators made nasty references towards the Prophet Mohammad.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those lost in this horrific tragedy.

This was bubbling up for a while.

Before the attack happened, the newspaper made another offensive reference towards the Prophet and the Islamic State.

French President Francois Hollande has labelled the shooting a terrorist attack, and confirmed that at least 11 people were killed and another four were in critical condition. Among the dead are two police officers.

“This is a terrorist attack, there is no doubt about it,” Hollande told reporters.

French news organizations are saying that four of France’s most well known cartoonists — Charb, Cabu, Wolinski, and Tignous — are among the dead.

Video shows two gunmen shooting from a distance what is reportedly a Paris policeman, who is then seen struggling on a sidewalk. The two gunmen run over to him, and one casually puts a bullet in the policeman’s head, killing him.

In the video, the gunmen can be heard shouting “Allahu akbar” between bursts of gunfire. The gunmen also shouted “we have avenged the prophet,” according to police.

Hollande arrived at the scene of the shooting after rushing there and calling an emergency cabinet meeting, the presidency said.

The government raised its alert level to the highest possible in the greater Paris region.

A source close to the investigation said two men “armed with a Kalashnikov and a rocket-launcher” stormed the building in central Paris and “fire was exchanged with security forces.”

The source said a gunman had hijacked a car and knocked over a pedestrian while attempting to speed away.

The New York Times reports that the car was later found abandoned “in the 20th Arrondissement of Paris, a neighborhood with a large immigrant population.”

The publication’s cartoonist Renaud Luzier earlier told AFP there were “casualties” after the incident.

The satirical newspaper gained notoriety in February 2006 when it reprinted cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed that had originally appeared in Danish daily Jyllands-Posten, causing fury across the Muslim world.

Its offices were fire-bombed in November 2011 when it published a cartoon of Mohammed and under the title “Charia Hebdo”.

Despite being taken to court under anti-racism laws, the weekly continued to publish controversial cartoons of the Muslim prophet.

In September 2012 Charlie Hebdo published cartoons of a naked Mohammed as violent protests were taking place in several countries over a low-budget film, titled “Innocence of Muslims”, which was made in the United States and insulted the prophet.

French schools, consulates and cultural centres in 20 Muslim countries were briefly closed along with embassies for fear of retaliatory attacks at the time.

Editor Stephane Charbonnier has received death threats and lives under police protection.

The newspaper’s editor in chief, Gérard Biard, is in London. He was quoted on Twitter saying that the threats had actually lessened lately.

France’s interior minister said police are searching for three suspects involved in the attacks.

Boehner: F**k Louie Gohmert And His Pea-Brain Mutiny!

Boehner may strip leadership roles from some of the insurgents who opposed him.

The inept Republicans take control of Congress and it was a bit of drama on the floor today. The weeper of the House of Representatives John Boehner (R-OH) won a third term. But this comes with a price. Seriously he has to control members of his own party.

These members are the insurgency. And a handful of them went on to cast doubt on him.

25 Insurgent representatives led by Ted Yoho (R-FL) and Louie Gohmert (R-TX) voted against having Boehner as their House Speaker.

Boehner had to fend off a defection from within his own party that was the biggest such revolt in more than 150 years.

The Hill reports that Rep. Daniel Webster (R-Fla.), whose nomination for Speaker became public just minutes before the vote, attracted the most votes at 12.

Meanwhile, the other two long-shot candidates, Reps. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) and Ted Yoho (R-Fla.) only received three and two votes each.

Additionally, freshman Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas) voted "present" rather than voting for anyone. And two Republican lawmakers voted for people who aren't even members of the House: Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Ala.) for Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), and Rep. Curt Clawson (R-Fla.) for Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).

Many of the votes for GOP candidates apart from Boehner drew murmurs and sometimes even outright laughter in the House chamber. The votes for Paul and Sessions drew the most derision from fellow lawmakers.

The insurgency will fight again!

Most of the lawmakers who voted against Boehner are hard-line conservatives who particularly opposed the GOP leadership's handling of the government-wide spending bill last month. Many conservatives had urged leadership to defund President Obama's executive action to shield illegal immigrants from deportation. But the "cromnibus" spending package didn't include such a provision.

Many lawmakers were absent from the vote due to former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo's (D) funeral in New York and snow in Washington, D.C. Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), a favorite for Speaker among some Tea Party supporters, didn't make it in time due to the weather but said he would have voted for Boehner.

On the Democratic side, only four lawmakers voted for candidates aside from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). Rep. Jim Cooper (D-Tenn.) voted for former Secretary of State Colin Powell, while Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) voted for civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.). And Rep. Gwen Graham (D-Fla.), who stated she wouldn't support Pelosi on the campaign trail, voted for Cooper.

Boehner is not going to strip them of their committee chairs yet. But beware, this symbolic opposition may bite them in the ass. The Insurgency wants to oppose President Barack Obama.

Mario Cuomo And Edward Brooke Passed Away!

Two legendary politicians passed away this month. The former New York governor and liberal titian Mario Cuomo passed away this month. And we just found out that Edward Brooke, the first Black senator from Massachusetts has passed away.

Mario Cuomo was an American politician and member of the Democratic Party. He served as the 52nd Governor of New York for three terms, from 1983 to 1994,

Lieutenant Governor of New York from 1979 to 1982, and Secretary of State of New York from 1975 to 1978.

Cuomo was known for his liberal views and public speeches, particularly his keynote speech at the 1984 Democratic National Convention where he criticized Ronald Reagan's policies.

The speech brought him to national attention, and he was widely considered a front-runner for the Democratic nomination for President in both 1988 and 1992, but he declined to seek the nomination in both instances. His legacy as a reluctant standard-bearer for the Democrats in presidential elections led to him being dubbed "Hamlet on the Hudson".

Cuomo was defeated for a fourth term as Governor by George Pataki in the Republican Revolution of 1994, and he subsequently retired from politics. He was the father of five, including Andrew Cuomo, the current Governor of New York, and journalist Chris Cuomo, currently at CNN.

He died of natural causes due to heart failure in Manhattan, New York City on New Year's Day, 2015.

President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Senator Edward Brooke, the first African American Republican to be elected since Reconstruction.

No other senator of African heritage was elected until Democrat Carol Moseley Braun of Illinois in 1993. As of 2014 Brooke was the only African-American Senator to serve multiple terms. He was elected to the Senate as a Republican from Massachusetts, defeating former Massachusetts governor Democrat Endicott Peabody in a landslide. He served for two terms, and was defeated by Paul Tsongas in the 1978 senate election.

Brooke was the last Republican Senator elected from Massachusetts until Scott Brown was elected in 2010. At his death in 2015, Brooke was the oldest living former Senator.

In 1967, he was awarded the Spingarn Medal from the NAACP.

In 1966, Brooke defeated former Governor Endicott Peabody with 1,213,473 votes to 744,761, and served as a United States Senator for two terms, from January 3, 1967, to January 3, 1979.

The black vote had, Time wrote, "no measurable bearing" on the election as less than 3% of the state's population was black, and Peabody also supported civil rights for blacks. Brooke stated "I do not intend to be a national leader of the Negro people", and the magazine stated that he "condemned both Stokely Carmichael and Georgia's Lester Maddox" as extremists; nonetheless, his historic election gave Brooke "a 50-state constituency, a power base that no other Senator can claim." In 1967, he served on the President's Commission on Civil Disorders. He was a member of the moderate wing of the Republican Party and organized the Senate's "Wednesday Club" of progressive Republicans who met for Wednesday lunches and strategy discussions. Brooke, who had supported Michigan Governor George W. Romney and then New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller's bids for the 1968 GOP presidential nomination against Richard Nixon's, often differed with President Nixon on matters of social policy and civil rights.

By his second year in the Senate, Brooke had taken his place as a leading advocate against discrimination in housing and on behalf of affordable housing. With Walter Mondale, a Minnesota Democrat and fellow member of the Senate Banking Committee, he co-authored the 1968 Fair Housing Act, which prohibits discrimination in housing, and created HUD's Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity as the primary enforcer of the law. President Johnson signed the Fair Housing Act into law on April 11, one week after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.. Brooke repeatedly proposed stronger provisions during his Senate career. By the 1990s, the percentage had gradually increased, but the principle of limiting the housing 'burden' of very-low income renters survives in statute, as of 2008.

During the Nixon presidency, Brooke opposed repeated Administration attempts to close down the Job Corps and the Office of Economic Opportunity and to weaken the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission—all foundational elements of President Lyndon Johnson's Great Society.

In 1969, Brooke was a leader of the bipartisan coalition that defeated the Senate confirmation of the President's nominee to the Supreme Court, Clement Haynsworth. A few months later, he again organized sufficient Republican support to defeat Nixon's second Supreme Court nominee Harrold Carswell. Nixon then turned to Harry A. Blackmun, later the author of the Roe v. Wade opinion.

In 2008, Barbara Walters wrote in her memoir Audition that she and Brooke had an affair lasting several years during the 1970s, while Brooke was married to his first wife. Walters said that they ended the relationship to protect their careers from possible scandal.

Huckabee is going to do it again!

The former agitator on Loserville may jump into the 2016 clown car. Mike Huckabee ran for president back in 2008 and was a credible candidate. Now he's thinking about doing it again.

Huckabee, a former governor from Arkansas became the unlikely winner of the 2008 Iowa Caucus where he swept through the perennial losers Mitt Romney and Senator John McCain (R-AZ).

Huckabee was probably one of the better Republicans.

Anyway, Mr. Libido is about to explore his chances seeing that Jeb Bush is really considering his chances at running for president. Bush resigned from all his organizations and has sought advice on how to create a presidential exploratory committee.

Until January 3, 2015, Huckabee hosted the eponymous his talk show called Huckabee, before ending the show in order to investigate the possibility of a 2016 presidential candidacy.

From April 2012 through December 2013, he hosted a daily radio program, The Mike Huckabee Show, on weekday afternoons for Cumulus Media Networks.

Huckabee is the author of several best-selling books, an ordained Southern Baptist minister, musician and a public speaker. He is also an ABC Radio political commentator.

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy.

Stan Solomon And Larry Pratt: These "Die In" Protesters Are Roadkill!

Nutjob with a gun. The founder of Gun Owners of America was on an extremist radio show talking about protesters being responsible for the deaths of NYPD cops.

Gun Owners of America is a gun rights organization founded by far right extremist Larry Pratt.

Pratt is one of these White extremists who parade on wackadoodle radio these conspiracies about President Barack Obama, the gun control advocates and even the National Rifle Association.

Pratt has spoken at meetings organized by white supremacist and militia leaders. Pratt denied any ties to racism, calling accusations smears aimed at hurting him.

Pratt is not well liked by the NRA and those who support gun control.

RightWingWatch notes that Pratt was on extremist radio with Stan Solomon. The extremists were bitching about the protesters doing die ins for Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, John Crawford, Eric Garner and Tamir Rice.

According to the extremists, they would rather see the cars run their ass down.

Solomon and Pratt discussed the assassination of two police officers in New York last week, which they blamed on demonstrators.

Solomon, trying to give Pratt cover by saying “Larry will not condone this” suggested, “The next time there’s a die-in, make sure they’re dead. The next time they block the road, run their asses over. I think it will slow down.”

“Well, it’s a very confrontational mentality that we’re dealing with,” Pratt responded, “and at some point the police will have to come to the conclusion that it’s us or them.”

He went on to suggest that the protests would create “no-go zones” in cities where police would refuse to enter: "If they’re going to have to deal with an enemy terrain where a lot of people, and they can’t sort out ahead of time who’s the enemy and who is not, I think that’s going to lead to the conclusion that ‘I’m not going in there.’"

Texas Family Got N***a Food Service!

Again the retail and food service industry brings us the best. And then some. I mean half of the dedicated workers of the service industry go out their way to serve a guest.

If you're in the food and beverage establishments where tipping is a key to pulling in reasonable income, you would treat that guest like their a part of the family.

Four area Dallas residents were given the business. They ended up each getting a receipt with the word NIGGA on it.

Shatila Restaurant in Pantego, Texas, used the N-word on each of their receipts, followed by a number the server presumably used to keep their orders straight, reported KTVT-TV.

They checked with other diners, but none of them had similar notes on their receipts.

“It’s sad that it’s still occurring,” Ta’les Russell told the TV station. “We are here in the new year, starting fresh, celebrating with family and friends. This is the worst way to start, with everything going on in our society in Ferguson. It’s sad that we have to experience this still today in 2015.”

They said the manager of the Lebanese restaurant and hookah bar apologized, offered them free meals, and told them the server — identified on the receipts as Ragheed — had been fired.

The manager said the server was new and meant no harm, but the group said he should not have felt comfortable expressing himself using racial slurs while on the job.

“They need to emphasize it to their staff,” said Jasmine Tucker. “They can let go our waiter, but what if the rest of their waiters are doing the same thing? They need to emphasize this is not OK.”

The server was fired out the cannon and the owner offered his apologies.

Alabama sheriffs are investigating a complaint filed by an African American family. They claim that their home was vandalized and spray painted with the ugly racial slur. It read MOVE NIGGER NOW!

Again, I don't want to jump to conclusions about these type of stories. Sure, this is horrific for a family to see this type of stuff happen. The peace and tranquility of your home being destroyed by the low lives of American ignorance.

The homeowner said she was at home with her granddaughter Wednesday night when she heard glass breaking at the front of the house. She called 911 and deputies arrived to find three windows broken by rocks and a racial slur painted on the garage door. The homeowner said she did not know why anyone would target her.

Yeah, mindset are deep rooted in some parts of the state. But does this ignorance play out inside the suburbs?

Limestone County is a part of the Huntsville-Decatur metro area. Limestone County is located in Northern Alabama.

Elkmont, Alabama is a town of 470 people, The racial makeup of the town was 83.40% White, 15.11% Black or African American, 1.06% from other races, and 0.43% from two or more races. 1.28% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

John Crawford's Girlfriend Passes Away!

This holiday brings news of a tragedy. The woman who was with John Crawford III back in August 2014 was killed in a double fatal accident in Dayton, Ohio.

Tasha Thomas was with Crawford at a Wal-Mart this past August when Beavercreek officers shot and killed him. He picked up an air rifle while shopping at that store and a 911 caller tipped them off and the officers fired on him without warning.

The cops weren't charged in his death and that led to massive protests. In the wake of the Michael Brown shooting and Eric Garner stranglehold controversy, Crawford managed to make the national news circuit.

Tasha along with her new boyfriend died in Dayton this week. Thursday afternoon, residents reported that a vehicle was traveling at an excessive speed. The vehicle would lose control and hit a trolley pole splitting the car in two. The passenger Thomas was killed on sight. Her boyfriend Fredrick Berry was pronounced dead at the Miami Valley Hospital.

The junk food media now refocuses on Black criminals. For the fact that the driver and Thomas weren't in seat belts, they are going to be regarded by the racist right as "BLACK CRIMINALS" and "OBAMA'S IMAGINARY CHILDREN".

Ohio State Patrol and Dayton Police warned that road deaths rise during the Christmas and New Year's holiday.

DISH Network Pulls The Fox Out The Hen House!

Conservatives send death threats to Dish Network after it pull the plug on that controversial cable news channel.

Dish Network and that conservative network are at odds over contributing fees and this battle gotten uglier. Now that the most watched cable news network is at odds with the satellite provider, many addicts are threatening to dump Dish.

Contract negotiation fell through and DISH had no choice but to pull the plug on the network. It really sparked outrage and of course the usual blame Obama nonsense. But seriously, the rates that network was selling wasn't good enough for DISH. They wanted to sell the provider lower rates.

The network managed to get its addicts to respond. Viewers of the NFL game on Fox Sunday were shown an ad that asked Dish customers to ask the satellite carrier to continue Fox News on its service, the story adds.

Still #1 in the ratings.

“We are simply notifying our viewers about the possibility of not being able to access the network on their current satellite TV provider,” Tim Carry, executive vice president of distribution for Loserville, told the publication.

About 20,000 people called the number provided by that network and 75,000 visited the website, the story notes. This marks the third Dish contract expiration to become public in the last few months, following Dish’s expiring deals with Turner and CBS, which led to channel blackouts until new deals were struck.

Dish decided to replace the conservative network with a very conservative network.

Former Loserville host Glenn Beck went to start up his own network. The Blaze is not available in most markets but for the time being it's just about enough Obama bashing to satisfy the rabid conservative viewer.

Leelah Alcorn Touches The Nation!

In death, you'll be honored as a brave person. You are loved and no one can deny the fact that you are truly a woman.

This new year marks a tragedy. On December 28, a transgender teen was killed on Interstate 71 near the community of South Lebanon, Ohio.

Her life is being honored by millions.

This tragedy will start a discussion about bullying and coming out as trangender. It's rough for a teen who comes out as transgender.

I can say that at least 40 teens commit suicide because of bullying.

Some teens are heartbroken when their families aren't supportive.

Leelah Alcorn was only 17 when she came out as transgender. The focal purpose of this young teen's death will become a rally call for all teens who suffer from bullying and harassment from fellow peers.

Leelah was from Kings Mills, a community that's about 20 miles from Cincinnati. Although born male, Leelah couldn't fit in. She want to be the woman she could be. Her stuanchly conservative parents wanted to raise a "good Christian" boy and thought being transgender is being a phase.

On her Tumblr blog, she left a suicide note that went viral. Take discretion in reading this.

Please don’t be sad, it’s for the better. The life I would’ve lived isn’t worth living in… because I’m transgender. I could go into detail explaining why I feel that way, but this note is probably going to be lengthy enough as it is. To put it simply, I feel like a girl trapped in a boy’s body, and I’ve felt that way ever since I was 4. I never knew there was a word for that feeling, nor was it possible for a boy to become a girl, so I never told anyone and I just continued to do traditionally “boyish” things to try to fit in.

When I was 14, I learned what transgender meant and cried of happiness. After 10 years of confusion I finally understood who I was. I immediately told my mom, and she reacted extremely negatively, telling me that it was a phase, that I would never truly be a girl, that God doesn’t make mistakes, that I am wrong. If you are reading this, parents, please don’t tell this to your kids. Even if you are Christian or are against transgender people don’t ever say that to someone, especially your kid. That won’t do anything but make them hate them self. That’s exactly what it did to me.

My mom started taking me to a therapist, but would only take me to christian therapists, (who were all very biased) so I never actually got the therapy I needed to cure me of my depression. I only got more christians telling me that I was selfish and wrong and that I should look to God for help.

When I was 16 I realized that my parents would never come around, and that I would have to wait until I was 18 to start any sort of transitioning treatment, which absolutely broke my heart. The longer you wait, the harder it is to transition. I felt hopeless, that I was just going to look like a man in drag for the rest of my life. On my 16th birthday, when I didn’t receive consent from my parents to start transitioning, I cried myself to sleep.

I formed a sort of a “fuck you” attitude towards my parents and came out as gay at school, thinking that maybe if I eased into coming out as trans it would be less of a shock. Although the reaction from my friends was positive, my parents were pissed. They felt like I was attacking their image, and that I was an embarrassment to them. They wanted me to be their perfect little straight christian boy, and that’s obviously not what I wanted.

So they took me out of public school, took away my laptop and phone, and forbid me of getting on any sort of social media, completely isolating me from my friends. This was probably the part of my life when I was the most depressed, and I’m surprised I didn’t kill myself. I was completely alone for 5 months. No friends, no support, no love. Just my parent’s disappointment and the cruelty of loneliness.

At the end of the school year, my parents finally came around and gave me my phone and let me back on social media. I was excited, I finally had my friends back. They were extremely excited to see me and talk to me, but only at first. Eventually they realized they didn’t actually give a shit about me, and I felt even lonelier than I did before. The only friends I thought I had only liked me because they saw me five times a week.

After a summer of having almost no friends plus the weight of having to think about college, save money for moving out, keep my grades up, go to church each week and feel like shit because everyone there is against everything I live for, I have decided I’ve had enough. I’m never going to transition successfully, even when I move out. I’m never going to be happy with the way I look or sound. I’m never going to have enough friends to satisfy me. I’m never going to have enough love to satisfy me. I’m never going to find a man who loves me. I’m never going to be happy. Either I live the rest of my life as a lonely man who wishes he were a woman or I live my life as a lonelier woman who hates herself. There’s no winning. There’s no way out. I’m sad enough already, I don’t need my life to get any worse. People say “it gets better” but that isn’t true in my case. It gets worse. Each day I get worse.

That’s the gist of it, that’s why I feel like killing myself. Sorry if that’s not a good enough reason for you, it’s good enough for me. As for my will, I want 100% of the things that I legally own to be sold and the money (plus my money in the bank) to be given to trans civil rights movements and support groups, I don’t give a shit which one. The only way I will rest in peace is if one day transgender people aren’t treated the way I was, they’re treated like humans, with valid feelings and human rights. Gender needs to be taught about in schools, the earlier the better. My death needs to mean something. My death needs to be counted in the number of transgender people who commit suicide this year. I want someone to look at that number and say “that’s fucked up” and fix it. Fix society. Please.

It's a damn shame that her family wasn't approving of this. This is the most devestating thing in a child's life when a parent just can't understand.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Alcorn walked 4 miles from her middle-class Kings Mills neighborhood with its views of Kings Island to Interstate 71. There, she was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer. The highway was closed for more than a hour.

By Tuesday evening, Leelah's story had become a worldwide story - one of how transgender teens often feel alone and afraid. The hashtag #LeelahAlcorn was topping Twitter; news sites worldwide had picked up the story; and someone had even created a Wikipedia page for Alcorn.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate; no charges have been filed. Her body was sent to the Montgomery County coroner for an autopsy, which will take several weeks.

Alcorn's mother, Carla Wood Alcorn, wrote on Facebook Sunday, "My sweet 16-year-old son, Leelah Joshua Ryan Alcorn, went home to Heaven this morning. He was out for an early morning walk and was hit by a truck. Thank you for the messages and kindness and concern you have sent our way. Please continue to keep us in your prayers." The post has since been taken down.

According to the school statement, Alcorn attended Kings schools and was most recently enrolled as an 11th grader at the Ohio Virtual Academy, an online school.

Yearly Wrap Up!

A new year.

Meh, I would say this has been one year to look upon as decent at best. I only work one job right now. Back in October, I was let go from a high paying job and now working at the job I come to respect somewhat. Of course, I haven't left my duties as a contributor. I want to keep the readers and our supporters interested in our blog.

We here at Journal de la Reyna covered a lot and hopefully will aid our readers into 2015 with a better outlook ahead.

Overall I reflect on the stories.

Republicans take control of Congress.

Joni Ernst became the winner of the year. This controversial politico once did hog castration. She won the seat by retiring Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA). She was aided by the insurgency and radio host Laura Ingraham. Some claim that she'll be more a problem than Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).

Scott Brown is thought to be a presidential contender in 2016. But this loss in the New Hampshire senate race became a major setback may eventually wipe him off the political watchlist.

Barack Obama despite a setback in his agenda, he is looking for a fight. He hopes the public will finally acknowledge his policies are working.

Mitch McConnell is the most dirtiest politician to ever be in Washington. Beat the Democrat who claimed that she didn't even vote for Obama. Alison Lundergen Grimes was one of McConnell's toughest opponents. Why the hell she got beaten so badly? First Grimes denounce the president. That got her funds pulled. Then Mitch seized on her comments about how coal workers are poor and clueless. She was inconsistent on issues. Kentucky was always a Republican hold. No question. They don't like Mitch, but they'll have him over a Democrat who can't figure where they stand. Even Bill Clinton, a favorite among Kentuckians couldn't save this train wreck. That might spell trouble for Hillary Clinton if she was to wade her way into the Deep South. Big problem. Mitch got aided by the establishment and insurgency. Even though that former Alaskan governor hates his guts, she rather have McConnell than Harry Reid as Majority Leader.

Controversial comic featuring John Crawford, Eric Garner, Michael Brown and Tamir Rice.

Mary Landrieu been a senator for three terms. Her term ended and left the Democrats without a senator in the Deep South. Running away from the president cost her dearly. Or it could have been the white resentment stroked by the insurgency. The insurgency didn't like how she was telling the junk food media that her constituents had issues with the first black president. Representatives Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Tom Cotton (R-AR) will leave the House for the U.S. Senate. Cotton beat Mark Pryor in Arkansas.

Already the Republicans got into some deep shit. New York Republican Michael Grimm was found guilty in a corruption charge and Louisiana Republican Steve Scalise admits that he went to conference being held by White extremists.

Ray Rice knocking his wife out was the talk of the sports world. In Atlantic City, Rice and then his fiance got into a heated fight and cameras focus on him knocking her out. Rice admitted he told Roger Goodell what happened. Rice was suspended indefinitely. He is fighting to keep his job.

Michael Sam the first openly gay football star who got sacked before even stepping on the field. The former University of Missouri football player was a top of his game. He was voted with high marks among the scouts and fans. He took a nosedive after making a public admission. He came out to ESPN and the media went totally bananas. They were wondering if there's a possibility of gay football star could be ever possible.

Adrian Peterson was caught in a scandal too. He was suspended after it was revealed that he beat his son with a switch. A switch is a piece of a tree limb that people use to spank their child. Peterson was benched for most of the season.  Peterson had pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor charge of recklessly assaulting his four-year-old son. He will avoid a jail sentence after reaching a plea agreement with a court in Texas. He fought back in court and is granted free agent status.

Sam with no team or no contract is now on the media circuit complaining about how the NFL creates this standard to allow wife beaters, child beaters play but not gay men.

Jonathon Dwyer was booked into jail on one count of aggravated assault causing a fracture, one count of aggravated assault involving a minor, two counts of criminal damage, one count of preventing the use of a phone in an emergency, and assault. He was freed the next morning on a $25,000 cash bond and ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device.

Michael Brown, John Crawford, Renisha McBride, Tamir Rice, Darrien Hunt, Eric Garner paid the price for being unarmed Black citizens being murdered by the law or a vigilante.

Okay, we're seen the convictions of two. The shooter of Jordan Davis, Michael Dunn get life in the iron college. Then Theodore Wafer was given three nickels in the iron college for the death of Renisha McBride.

Donald Sterling, Bill Cosby, Rickey Wagoner, Sean Hannity, Matt Drudge, Suge Knight, Cliven Bundy, Charles C. Johnson, and Sony were some of the most controversial figures of the year.

Okay, I know that America's most hate individual is probably Donald Sterling. But what about Ray Rice, Darren Wilson, Bill Cosby or Suge Knight?

You guest it. They're on the list of this year's hot mess.

The former owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, Donald Sterling was caught on tape saying some nasty and outright racist things about Blacks attending his games. You got to admit that he was set up by a gold digger. That hot mess was forced out of the NBA, he was forced to sell the Clippers and he was banned for life after this fiasco. This also brought shame to the former owner of the Atlanta Hawks. He wrote an email to the staff saying some pretty bad things about Blacks too.

Them skeletons came out the closet. Bill Cosby, America's favorite father figure and perennial complainer of the Black community is seeing his legacy fall upon him. He's been accused raping numerous women. These women claimed that Cosby mentored them through their acting careers.

Cliven Bundy is the Nevada rancher who caused such an uproar. The rancher squared off with the federal government after he was warned to pay his dues. He got major airtime on Fox News and other right wing outlets after this uproar. In a interview with NPR and later the Associated Press, Bundy would make racially charged statements about Black people.

Suge Knight may see bars again. The former CEO of Death Row Records was injured at a Chris Brown party. He was shot by an assailant and was treated for his injuries. Just a few months later, he and comedian Katt Williams got caught up attacking a woman. Now he could be spending the rest of his life in the iron college after violating his parole. Is he going to blame Dr. Dre for his mishaps again. After all, his old foe is now a billionaire after selling his BEATS audio to Apple.

Jay-Z and Beyonce

Rickey Wagoner is a Dayton bus driver who created this story about three Black men attacking him because he believed they were looking for a polar bear.

The Racist Right obsesses over Michael Brown and crime through the racial lens. Colin Flaherty, Charles C. Johnson and Jim Hoft were spreading around that fake picture of former Ferguson officer Darren Wilson with a busted eye socket. It turns out that the person was a stuntman.

Colin Flaherty is a certified nutjob. He and some of those on the racist right have concocted a story about packs of Black teens and the such. He wrote a book called White Girl Bleeds Alot and it focuses criticism of the media not focusing on Black on White crime. Instead of just focusing on all factions that lead to crime, it concludes with baseless condescending rhetoric.

Sean Hannity is ranked the worst cable news host ever. He is a perennial name dropper. He can't go a day without mentioning President Barack Obama in a sentence. He is so annoying even fellow colleagues have spoke about it behind closed doors.

Matt Drudge is the Craigslist of news agitators. Still around and still promoting those racial stories. Like Hannity, Drudge is a notorious race baiter and name dropper. On the news agitator's page he'll put some not so nice pictures of the president on the top lines. Then the anonymous trolls click on the stories and head straight down to the comment section. They post racially insensitive nonsense on the web and its became a huge concern for websites. They decided to "regulate" civility on comment sections.

Sony close the year in the red. Literally, Sony pulls the plug on the Seth Rogen movie The Interview. It mocks the North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. It caused such an uproar because it was a hacking incident that occurred and it leaked out some embarrassing emails from some of the Sony executives. They openly mocked Black actors and President Barack Obama. They took shots at Angelina Jolie-Pitt, an activist and major celebrity among the junk food media elites.

Beau Bergdahl the U.S. solider who was held captive for nearly five years comes back to the United States amid heavy criticism from the racist right.

Legendary comedian Robin Williams died.

Also there were mentions of Jay-Z. He was called a "crack dealer", smacked by Solange Knowles, sold his share in the Brooklyn Nets and also met Prince William.

Robin Williams tragic death shocked the nation. I was surprised and sadden by his death. The world lost one the best gifts ever. He had memorable roles such as a Theodore Roosevelt in the Night at The Museum. Also he is best known for being the Genie in Aladdin, Mork in Mork & Mindy, and the Crazy Ones.

Lil' Wayne and 50 Cent were in the news. The Unit reunited for an album. Wayne is talking about leaving Cash Money and Young Money. Wiz Khalifa splits from Amber Rose. Chris Rock splits from Malaak Compton. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon called it quits. Wow.

So many things happened while blogging, I couldn't fit it all in. I'll do my best next time.
