R. Kelly Dropped From Ohio Concert!

Sometimes, R. Kelly can't catch a break. Since 2003, the entertainer has been in spotlight for being a nasty freak and possible child pedophile. There was a summer concert with him being a headliner act, but that was put on the back burner after protest from some women's groups. So it's a no go for Robert Sylvester Kelly.

The R. Kelly concert scheduled to open the inaugural Fashion Meets Music Festival next month in Columbus, Ohio has been canceled because of backlash over the R&B singer’s past. The Columbus Dispatch reports that some are pretty upset over the cancellation.

“We wanted to make sure we heard the Columbus listeners ... to make a statement and support the city we live in,” said festival spokeswoman Melissa Dickson, who added that a public-relations firm is helping the event repair its image.

The decision to pull Kelly’s Nationwide show on Aug. 29 came late last week after Saintseneca, a Columbus band also set to play the festival, announced plans to cancel because of Kelly’s appearance. WCBE (90.5 FM) withdrew its sponsorship shortly after.

Those departures were preceded by a local duo, Damn the Witch Siren, which on July 3 abandoned their festival appearance because of Kelly’s history, which includes a 2008 acquittal on 14 counts of child pornography and a Chicago Sun-Times investigation linking the Grammy winner to underage girls.

Still, the 47-year-old I Believe I Can Fly singer hasn’t been short on work: He headlined the Bonnaroo (Manchester, Tenn.) and Pitchfork (Chicago) festivals last summer.

But word of his planned appearance here drew almost-instant criticism.

Organizers of the Fashion Meets Music Festival, which is to take place in and around the Arena District on Aug. 29-31, issued a brief announcement last night via Facebook and Twitter to say the artist and event have “parted ways.”

Kelly’s publicist released the following statement: “R. Kelly is sorry to disappoint his fans but looks forward to seeing them in the near future during one of his upcoming tours.”

The remaining festival events and after-party shows will take place as scheduled in locations such as McFerson Commons. Performers include O.A.R., Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child and Future Islands.

There won’t be a replacement concert in the arena.

Deal$ Under The Family Dollar Tree!

Virginia-based Dollar Tree is going for the Tennessee-based Family Dollar brands. The possible merger of two of the nation's thrifty stores could spell MONOPOLY. An $8.5 billion deal is going forth.

The Family Dollar stores are struggling. I didn't know that they're feeling the heat literally. I mean if you head to a Deal$ or Dollar Tree you're expected to find something for at least a $1 at best.

Stockholders of Family Dollar Stores will receive $59.60 in cash and the equivalent of $14.90 in shares of Dollar Tree for each share they own. The companies put the value of the transaction at $74.50 per share, which is an approximately 23 percent premium to Family Dollar's Friday closing price of $60.66.

The companies put the enterprise value of the deal, including debt and other costs, at more than $9 billion.

Family Dollar stockholders will own somewhere between 12.7 percent and 15.1 percent of Dollar Tree's outstanding common shares at closing. Shares spiked more than 24 percent and were headed for an all-time high before the opening bell Monday.

Shares of Dollar Tree neared an all-time high.

Core customers for bargain stores and major retailers like Wal-Mart have been among the hardest hit by the recession and its aftermath because of job instability.

Family Dollar has struggled and has attempted to reinvigorate sales by lowering prices on almost 1,000 basic items. It's cut some jobs and shuttered underperforming stores.

The company had been conducting a strategic review since the winter, and investor Carl Icahn urged Family Dollar last month to put itself up for sale. Icahn has built up a stake in the company of more than 9 percent, according to regulatory filings.

Dollar Tree CEO Bob Sasser said Monday that the deal will give Dollar Tree more than 13,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada. That is nearly three times as many stores as Wal-Mart Stores Inc., though Wal-Mart's square footage is still greater.

The companies did not say if any Dollar Tree or Family Dollar stores would be closed.

The combined Dollar Tree-Family Dollar chain will have sales of more than $18 billion and Sasser says that the transaction will create a more diverse company with an enhanced geographic reach.

Dollar Tree stores sell products for $1 or less, while Family Dollar's pricing is much broader.

Dollar Tree will continue to operate under the existing Dollar Tree, Deals, and Dollar Tree Canada store signs. It will keep the Family Dollar brand as well.

Family Dollar Chairman and CEO Howard Levine will still lead those stores and report to Sasser. He will join Dollar Tree's board.

Dollar Tree plans to finance the deal with available cash, bank debt and bonds.

The boards of both companies have unanimously approved the deal, which is expected to close by early next year. It still needs approval from Family Dollar shareholders.

Shares of Family Dollar Stores Inc., based in Charlotte, North Carolina, surged $14.89 to $75.55 in premarket trading. The record high during regular trading is $75.29. Shares of Dollar Tree Inc., based in Chesapeake, Virginia, jumped 10 percent, or $5.50 to $59.72. The all-time high for that stock is $60.19.

The conservative agitator is rising the stakes in Washington politics.

The controversial agitator is proud to say that last week's run off between Republican Congressman from Georgia Jack Kingston and David Purdue ended with another victory for insurgency.

Kingston is going to be the next victim of the insurgency's fight within the Republican Party.

Majority Leader's Eric Cantor and Kingston are packing their bags for home.

The conservative agitator along with Mark "Ratface" Levin and numerous other groups are fighting the Republican establishment. They've gotten tired of the hot dog process of Congress, the constant "giving in" to President Barack Obama and their ineptness to immigration.

The insurgency believes that immigrants who come from the Southern Border are vermin. They believe that some Republican lawmakers are willing to sell out their "White privilege" for a bunch of immigrants.

Johnny Rockets pissed off Aretha Franklin.

Restaurant customer: Do you know who I am?

Apparently you don't know who I am, because you're service was so bad the Queen of Soul was totally pissed off with it.

The Associated Press report that Aretha Franklin has some harsh words for a server who showed D-I-S-R-E-S-P-E-C-T by telling the Queen of Soul she wasn't allowed to eat her takeout inside the restaurant.

A spokesman for Franklin says the situation unfolded Tuesday at a Johnny Rockets restaurant on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.

The spokesman says Franklin ordered a hamburger after performing a sold-out show. But he says the server screamed at Franklin, saying she couldn't sit down to eat because she ordered takeout.

The Queen of Soul was not impressed with Niagara Falls, Ontario restaurant.

Franklin says in a statement that the worker was "very rude, unprofessional and nasty."

A Johnny Rockets spokeswoman says the franchise owner is sorry for the actions of "a new and very young employee."

She says the owner has spoken with the employee and has clarified his takeout policies.

That "terrorist fist jab" was suppose to make the extremist believe that Obama had support for radical extremists.

To this day, that would be marked as one of previous decade's the most controversial statements made on cable news.

Pregnant Woman Gets Killed By Idiot Playing With Guns!

Young woman who was pregnant killed by reckless firearm owner.

So if this woman happens admiring a gun owner's collection and this guy happens to play around with it, what happens?

A five-month pregnant woman died after she was shot in the head while admiring a friend's gun collection, Hernando County authorities said Sunday.

The Citrus County woman and her husband were looking at the gun collection belonging to her friend William DeHayes in Brooksville when DeHayes' .22 caliber revolver discharged and hit the wife in the head.

Katherine Lynn Hoover, 25, was quickly transported to a nearby hospital and then airlifted to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, where doctors removed the woman's baby, but he did not survive. Hoover died early Sunday.

Deputies are continuing to investigate the incident, which they believe was an accident. They did not immediately say whether DeHayes would face charges of negligence.

The Raw Story also reports that police are investigating the shooting but say that it appears to have been accident. Records show that the gun owner, DeHayes, is 35 years-old and has no criminal record.

Hoover is survived by her husband, whom she married in December, and her 6-year-old son, Nicholas.

I'm not a racist! Former bus driver from Florida confronts Black reporter about a viral video of her acting a damn fool.

The Raw Story has a gem of a story about a woman who called a Black neighbor a "fucking NIGGER" because of some dispute in the lovely state of Florida.


The junk food media comes to interview the former Sarasota bus driver and it seems like its another "I'm not a racist" moment but however excuse.

A person who the woman got into it with posted this rant online and shared it through the junk food social networks.

"Black fuckng NIGGER!" These shocking and hurtful words were all caught on cellphone video. The speaker, former school bus driver Pamela Michener, didn't stop there.

"Let me tell you something, you fat fucking NIGGER: Maybe if you disciplined your FUCKING NIGGER, stinky-ass black children, I wouldn't have to put my two cents in," Michener is heard shouting on the video.

For 10 years Michener had been working with the Sarasota school district as a bus driver before resigning this May.

Neighbors say that after witnessing this outburst, along with several other rants from her, they knew something had to be done. That's when they turned to social media.

"I posted the video and I wanted everyone to see this is who is working with our kids,” says Mya Ronk, Michener's neighbor. “Everyone was outraged."



Ronk says the Facebook and YouTube posts quickly gained traction, and the community has since been voicing its concern to the school district.

"You have these kids, how could you work with kids when you don’t like a certain type of people?" Ronk asks.

So ABC 7 did some digging -- our first stop being Michener's home. After knocking on her door, I asked Michener about the neighbor’s accusations that she is a racist and told her I wanted to get her side of the story.

“First of all, I’m not a racist … it’s just the opposite,” Michener said, before saying “Thank you for your time” and slamming the front door. I asked through the closed door about Michener’s use of the N word.

“Well, what do you expect?” She answered. “My life is threatened, ok? I have people attacking me all the time. What do you expect?”

We referred back to the video, and noted that the only violent comment made during the altercation ("I'll slit your fu---ng throat") came from Michener.

This isn’t the first time Michener has been accused of questionable conduct. A police report from 2012 shows that Michener was charged with battery on a person 65 or older, and there was also an incident for which she was charged with faking an attack.

"This is who our kids are around,” says Ronk. “We don’t want our kids feeling unsafe, like my sister afterwards, she didn't even want to leave my mother in the house by herself."

Zimmerman Sues NBC And Loses!

Can't sue the media without having the facts.

The controversial Florida man wanted to sue the junk food media after they portrayed him as a "racist" in the 2012 event in which he killed unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin.

This lawsuit was going against NBC News for editing a 9-1-1 call in which it only singled out the part where he named the race of the teen, "looks up to no good" and these "assholes (punks) get away" remark.

The lawsuit was thrown out on merits that this asshole couldn't prove that NBC and its sister network Obama News did something malice in its reporting.

The asshole vows to appeal this controversial decision.

For once, I will actually smile knowing that this dead end will continue to be in the news. It's a matter of time that this guy does something that may eventually put his ass in the iron college.

Homeowner Kills Pregnant Burglar!

A man puts an end to a burglar's life despite the pleas of her being a pregnant woman.

Most states allow a homeowner to use deadly force if the intruder threatens the life or property.

That's what many call the castle doctrine. Of course in the state of California, they advocate the use of deadly force whenever an intruder threatens the life of the homeowner.

An 80 year old man put an end to a woman's life after she and her boyfriend attack him in a home burglary.

The homeowner shot and killed one of them despite the woman's pleas that she was pregnant.

The woman's alleged accomplice who has been arrested on suspicion of murder, police said.

Police said they would present their case to prosecutors Friday but were still deciding whether to recommend charges against Tom Greer, who told a television station he shot the woman in the back as she fled from his house.

"She says, 'Don't shoot me, I'm pregnant — I'm going to have a baby,' and I shot her anyway," Greer told KNBC-TV outside his house.

Long Beach police Chief Jim McDonnell said at a news conference Thursday that the woman, 28-year-old Andrea Miller, did not appear to be pregnant, but a planned autopsy would determine whether she was.

However, the surviving suspect, Gus Adams, 26, has been arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and murder, McDonnell said. The murder charge is possible because he is accused of being involved in a felony that led to a death, the chief said. He was being held on bail just over $1 million, and police did not know if he had hired an attorney.

Both Miller and Adams, who had histories of similar crimes, were unarmed, McDonnell said.

Greer had been burglarized three times before and believed the same suspects were responsible.

He returned home shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday to find the pair in his home. Both suspects attacked him, hitting him with their fists and ultimately "body slamming" him to the floor, breaking his collar bone, McDonnell said.

Miller continued to hit him, McDonnell said, while Adams moved to a safe and begin trying to pry it open.

The homeowner was able to get to another room where he grabbed a gun and returned to open fire on the suspects. They fled through the garage and into an alley, and Greer gave chase, firing at them again outside, McDonnell said.

Miller was hit, collapsed in the alley and died at the scene, McDonnell said.

"The lady didn't run as fast as the man, so I shot her in the back twice," Greer told the TV station. "She's dead ... but he got away."

McDonnell would not say whether Miller was shot in the back as Greer said. He also declined to say how many shots were fired and whether either of the suspects was hit inside the house before fleeing.

Homeowner Tom Greer was shaken by the event. He may face charges in the killing.

No phone listing was available for Greer and he could not be reached for comment by The Associated Press.

It will be up to the district attorney to decide whether to charge Greer with a crime, the chief said. Under California law, homeowners can defend themselves if they are in "imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death," he said.

Prosecutors will have to determine whether chasing after the suspects and firing on them outside the home goes beyond self-defense, McDonnell said.

Philadelphia Police Search For Men Who Plowed Over Family!

Police are searching for two men who managed to plow over innocent victims in a violent carjacking.

After a carjacking, men engage in a violent collision with a family who just managed to be at there at the wrong time.

 These two individuals are being sought by the Philadelphia police and the FBI after this incident turned deadly.

The Associated Press reports that an SUV and plowed into a group of children and adults selling fruit to raise money for their church, killing three siblings and critically injuring their mother and the carjacking victim.

The men carjacked a real estate agent at gunpoint Friday morning, forcing her into the backseat of her Toyota 4Runner. The SUV sped out of control about a mile from where the carjacking occurred, slamming into the children and adults manning the fruit stand, Philadelphia police said.

"Three innocent children had their lives taken," Philadelphia Homicide Capt. James Clark said of the victims, ages 7, 10 and 15.

The suspects fled on foot.

"There are no words to describe how I feel right now," said police Commissioner Charles Ramsey, "but we do need to find these two guys."

More than $100,000 in rewards is being offered for the suspects' capture. Police also asked nearby businesses for surveillance video and pleaded with anyone with information to come forward.

Police said the suspects may have blown a tire as they turned a corner at high speed. The car ended up in a wooded area, its front end smashed against a stand of trees.

"Something obviously went horribly wrong," Clark said.

The 34-year-old mother of the victims was in critical condition, police said. The identities of the family weren't immediately released.

The carjack victim, a 45-year-old real estate agent, was also critically injured, while a neighbor, a 65-year-old woman who was helping the family sell fruit, was in stable condition, police said.

Witness Renee Charleston saw a car streaking through the intersection, then noticed children on the ground.

"Nobody was moving," she told television station WPVI.

Employees at Education Works, an educational nonprofit across the street from the wreck, told The Philadelphia Inquirer they ran to try to help the victims. One boy had no pulse and another's was barely there, said Karen Payne, who runs a summer camp there.

"I'm certified in first aid and CPR — my first instinct was to go to them," she said. "But I couldn't help."

Deputy Mayor Everett Gillison described the mayor as heartbroken.

"The prayers of the city go out to this family," he said.

Stephen A Smith Opens His Mouth And Inserts His Foot In!

Jackass sports commentator advocates for domestic violence.

One of the controversial figures on ESPN finally managed to get his dues. Stephen A. Smith who frequently gives his opinion on issues other than sports said something that may have seem to be an advocating of domestic violence. Smith seems to be advocating the attack provoked by a now suspended NFL player.

This guy is a good friend of that annoying ass conservative agitator who helped Barack Obama win.

The Huffington Post reports that Smith was on First Take and he let his tongue roll right out of his mouth.

In a long-winded statement, Smith acknowledged a man has "no business putting [his] hands on a woman," then slowly worked toward the conclusion that women should also do their part not to give men a reason to beat them.

"We know [abusing women is] wrong," Smith concedes, though toward the end of his monologue he casts doubt on who, exactly, is to blame for said abuse, given "the elements of provocation."

Baltimore Ravens (AFC) player Ray Rice got in some trouble this month and its finally reached its boiling point with not only the NFL but women's group.

In February, after TMZ obtained security camera footage of Rice dragging his unconscious fiancée out of an elevator, Smith, while critical, ultimately defended the player at the time. "It's important to recognize and reiterate [that] we do not know what happened ... inside that elevator," said Smith, concluding, "There is absolutely nothing ... that has ever brought [Rice's] integrity into question until now. ... He deserves the benefit of the doubt."

A grand jury indicted Rice on third-degree aggravated assault. This carries a possible jail sentence of three to five years and a fine of up to $15,000.00.

Rice married his girlfriend Janay Palmer later.

Smith is on the suspension block after these comments. This goes to show you that your freedom of speech doesn't merit the right to act a fool on a network.

If I Criticize Israel, Then I'm What?

If criticizing the killing innocent civilians by Israel anti-Semitic, then what is an unjustifiable killing?

Israel is mounting another assault on Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Despite their efforts, the causalities of the innocent are growing and the Israelis are trying to place the blame solely on Hamas. Many internationally are getting tired of the excuses. They want to lay the hammer on Israel but one thing keeps them from doing it.

U.S., the United States of America.

Why?

My personal thoughts on this: The Israelis attacks on the Gaza Strip are WAR CRIMES.

They killed many innocent people at a United Nation's sanctioned public school. The Israeli military claims that it wasn't the fault of them, but Hamas launching a rocket that richocetted into the building.

BULLSHIT!

There's a riot in the West Bank and the Israeli forces ended up shooting three protesters. The protest are in regards to the heartless killings of schoolchildren seeking shelter.

For the fact that 500 Palestinians died in this one sided war against a political faction that they deem as a terrorist group is bullshit. Hamas was elected by the people of the Gaza Strip.

The Hamas governance believes that Israel is an oppressor and must be defeated. Hamas is conservative Sunni Islamic political organization.

The United States gives military aid to Israel. The Israeli government has a missile shield, nuclear weapons, a political campaign to paint themselves as the "victims" and a junk food media willing to aid their propaganda.

The Likud Party is the Tea Party of Israel. They've been in power for decades. They elected right wing leaders who run to the American junk food media with this notion that Israel is under attack and we must aid the country no matter what.

It seems like in a fight against an enemy, both sides would have the ammunition to destroy one another, then this would be a fair fight.

But like GOP Sundays, there's 3:1 ratio for Israelis. The junk food media is pro-Israel.

Our president, the Secretary of State John Kerry, the Republican Party, the Democratic Party and the American Jewish community believe that Israel "has the right" to defend their land. They have the "right to exist" and its up to Hamas to end the attacks.

But the problem with this is that Hamas is willing to end the conflict. They want to end it. But the reasons why they can't is because Israel continues to built settlements despite the United States and its allies warning the country not to. The Israeli government continue to block aid packages and medicine to the Gaza Strip and West Bank. They continue to tell this lie that Hamas hides in areas where women and children reside.

Yeah, right.

I am getting tired of this excuse. Hamas fighters would rather fight the Israelis in the streets instead of behind families.

Okay, here's where I believe they're wrong.

The Likud government is a far right government. They have such utter hatred of Blacks, Arabs and those who aren't like them. They strongly emphasize a national security policy based on a strong military force when threatened with continued enmity against Israel. It has shown reluctance to negotiate with its neighbors whom it believes continue to seek the destruction of the Jewish state. Its suspicion of Arab intentions, however, has not prevented the party from it from reaching agreements with the Arabs, such as the 1979 peace treaty with Egypt. Likud will never trust a mutually accepted agreements with the Arab world.

They believe in their minds, being the strongest is beneficial and weakness is not an option. Diplomacy with leaders who are conservative help their cause. Those they deem not of their level are often mocked and ignored.

See our president, Barack Obama has a somewhat testy relationship with right wing leaders.

Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, Stephen Harper of Canada, Angela Murkel of Germany, David Cameron of the United Kingdom,  Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea are politically right wing leaders.

These American conservative agitators support these leaders vehemently cause of their policies.

Over the years the rejection of peace talks often associates to the stubbornness of Israeli right-wing parties.

Far too long, I've been ignoring the conflict in the Middle East. I strongly believe that the United States shouldn't be involved as the world's police man. The U.S. should only aid a country in the time of a crisis (i.e. food and medical outbreak).

We shouldn't supply any country with weapons of mass destruction. What gives us the right to have nuclear weapons when countries like Iran, Syria and North Korea are barred from using them?

The UN threatened to sanction Israel for war crimes.

The United States have been participant in blocking any vote. The U.S. for the time being still believes that Hamas started the fight and Israel must take steps to end it.

The urging of ceasefire by Secretary of State John Kerry and Secretary General Ban Ki Moon is being ignored by both parties.

My thoughts on this situation is pretty simple.

Give Palestine the right to become a nation. The United States need to cut off the weapons to Israel.

Have each leader sit at the table in Geneva and offer a comprehensive truce.

If that fails, then charge Israeli leaders and military officers for war crimes at the Hague.

I'm against the attack of the Gaza Strip. There's nothing anti-Semitic about bombing civilian targets.

If Hamas had the power that Israel has, then I would have been more supportive. But if this lump sided fight was fair, then you could have convince me.

So as I allow my freedom of speech roll down these pages, I patiently wait for the first anonymous comment to come onto the pages of Journal de la Reyna.
