Davion Navar Henry Spends His Holiday At A Happy Home!

Teen will have a holiday with an adoptive family.

Teen who goes to the internet for a plea to find him an adoptive family gets his wish.

15-year old Davion Navar Henry was a child without a family. He was born to mother serving time in the iron college. And during his life he's spent most of it in the hands of Florida Family Services.

This year, I am guessing that a plea on the internet may help this young man gain the opportunity to have a family. The Tampa Bay Times talks to the young boy and ask him how his plea managed to gain so much attention.

Last spring, after discovering that his birth mother had just died, he determined to find someone to adopt him.

He first shared his quest with the Tampa Bay Times in a front-page story Oct. 8. It told of his visit to St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, where his caseworker had arranged for him to take the pulpit.

In her 28 years working with foster kids, Connie Going said, she had never known one who wanted to put himself out there like that. To risk being rejected. Again.

"I know God hasn't given up on me," Davion softly told the congregation. "So I'm not giving up either."

After the service, dozens of people hugged Davion, congratulated him, offered to take him to a Bucs game.

After the Times story ran, hundreds of couples across Tampa Bay called Going to ask about adopting him. Others wanted to mentor Davion, send him gift cards, contribute to his college fund.

Davion's day in church has been the most popular story on tampabay.com this month, with more than 132,965 views through Friday.

It has also gone viral on social media. More than 20,000 people shared it on Facebook and Twitter. Publications across the country picked up his prayer and posted his picture.

"I've never seen anything like this," said Going. "His simple plea just struck a chord with the world."

Newspapers in England, Australia and Japan carried his story. Websites from Fox News to Yahoo, Reddit and Gawker, MSN, People, Cosmopolitan and the Huffington Post. Television networks from ABC to Al Jazeera. He was on the Today show. Producers of The View flew him to New York for an interview.

Davion had never been on a plane, never been out of Florida. He borrowed his mentor's yellow sweater and shiny dress shoes, shuddered in the seat beside his caseworker and buried his face in his hand-held PlayStation during the whole trip.

His caseworker, Going, thought about making him look up at the skyscrapers, check out Times Square. "But I needed him to feel safe," she said. "This has all been so overwhelming."

As the TV lights bore down on him and the cameras zoomed closer and those four women he had never heard of kept hammering him with questions, Davion felt sick. But he held his head high.

And when Barbara Walters asked him to describe his perfect family, Davion said simply, "Anyone who would love me."

Going got so many calls that her agency, Eckerd, had to hire a public relations firm, Hill & Knowlton Strategies, to help manage media requests. Her supervisor drafted more than 60 volunteers to set up a phone bank and field all the calls. Now Davion isn't just a boy, he's a URL: www.eckerd.org/davion.

Strangers from every state wanted to adopt Davion. Couples who couldn't have children, families who had taken in five other foster kids. Young, single moms and graying grandparents, all offering their homes, their love — a future for a boy they had never met.

Some of Davion's relatives came forward too. He had met a few of them over the summer, but none was eligible to adopt him. After his story ran, other cousins called Going, wanting to meet him and help.

"We are following through with every offer, explaining the process to people and directing them to have home studies done," said Going. "I have no doubt that, because of these inquiries, we will find a family for him."

Couples who have already passed adoption home studies are being considered first, Going said. Families without young children, or who have experience with teens and traumatized kids, also receive priority. And though people from other states are eligible to adopt, Going said Eckerd is giving special consideration to Florida families who could keep Davion in contact with his friends and mentor.

Over the next month, adoption specialists hope to narrow down the thousands of inquiries to 100 or so, Going said. Then she will present 10 options to Davion. "He will have a say," she said.

He could be in a new home by Christmas.

Davion said he is amazed that "so many people actually want me."

But, he said, "that's not the best part."

Many of the people who called offering to adopt Davion had no idea so many teenagers are in foster care, Going said. Teens are often the most difficult to place — and need parents the most.
A fighter.
By sharing his story, Davion has become a voice for all those other kids like him.

"We have more than 100,000 kids in foster care across the country, just waiting for someone to take them in," Going said. "We have been encouraging everyone to look at all the other kids who need them."

On The View, Jenny McCarthy called it "The Davion effect."

Davion just calls it "cool."

"I know what it's like to have nobody, with no light at the end of the tunnel, no one who wants you," Davion said Thursday after school. "I just keep saying, 'There's only one me. But all my friends, all the other guys at the group home, all these other kids need families too.

"I just hope they don't give up. And that someone gives them a chance."

AK 47 Creator Passes Away!

Michael Kalashikov.jpg
I wanted to make things for the good of people. It's not my fault that you use this stuff to kill people!

If you're popping off a round from the AK 47, you probably showing your condolences to the founder of the powerful firearm.

Mikhail Kalashnikov, a former Soviet Union inventor created the popular firearm died this week.

He died at the age of 94.

A former tank commander for the Soviet Union’s Red Army, Kalashnikov began designing rifles after an injury in World War II sent him to the hospital and soon earned the nation’s highest honors for designing mass-produced, highly efficient guns.

His most famous assault rifle design was the AK 47, one of the most famous assault rifles in the history of ever (and is so iconic that it is actually on the flag of Mozambique). According to the Kalashnikov family, over 100 million AK 47s have ever been produced, many of them illegal copies of the original, and have been used in practically every major conflict in the past sixty-five years.

I wonder if the racist right didn't know they're Communists?

After all they're so scared over Communism. They're calling the first Black president a "gun grabbing Communist" because he believes those type of weapons were used in multiple mass shootings over the past fifteen years.

Columbine, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, Aurora and Tucson were examples of the AK 47 and AR 15 being used in mass shootings. But that's okay, as long as we continue to use them, our friend Mikhail Kalashnikov is the one guy who you thank for the stubborn gridlock by Republicans.

When he was on Loserville in 2007, he told the interviewer
File:AK-47 type II Part DM-ST-89-01131.jpg
The world's most popular firearm is the AK 47.
“I sleep well. It’s the politicians who are to blame for failing to come to an agreement and resorting to violence,” Kalashnikov said Friday at a ceremony marking the birth of the rifle, whose initials stand for “Avtomat Kalashnikov”…

“Blame the Nazi Germans for making me become a gun designer,” said Kalashnikov, frail but sharp at age 87. “I always wanted to construct agriculture machinery.”

You can sleep well knowing that so many innocent people who aren't causalities of war were victims of your invention. Hey, that's what counting money feels like. It's like counting bullets.

Mike Huckabee Might Run Again!

Mike Huckabee might run for president again!

Former Arkansas governor, talk radio host and Loserville feature is signalling another run for a likely defeat.

On a personal level, I won an opportunity to go to Florida in 2007. I won the YouTube/CNN challenge. I done a video on YouTube about my community and asked the Republican candidates how they could help move the country forward. The opportunity came when I was one of twelve people who had the opportunity to head to St. Petersburg for the CNN Republican debate. I got the opportunity to meet Anderson Cooper and then perennial losers Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, and Senator John McCain (R-AZ).

I met Mike Huckabee and conservative activist/actor/trainer Chuck Norris at the event as well.

A great opportunity to meet the candidates. The candidates were hoping to be the anti-Bush and then then anti-Clinton (later the anti-Obama). Huckabee lost his bid and move on to becoming a talk radio host.

But now in 2013, I am disgusted with Republicans. I can't stand the way they've attacked President Barack Obama. The way its going, I might avoid voting for the mainstream candidates and throw my vote to the second-tier candidates.

It's like the next election is another yawn of candidates who are either too old or too freaking crazy to be in the White House.

No one can beat the first Black president.

So what gives them these next line of losers an opportunity to be viable?

It's like a redo of the same losers of 2008 and 2012, respectively running. I hear Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee and Jon Huntsman thinking about running again!

Then the Stallmigos are getting political buzz. They have no accomplishments, but yet they're thinking about running for the office. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Rand Paul (R-KY) are the three Stallmigos who blocked and filibustered most of the president's nominees and the Democrats proposals.

I hear Vice President Joe Biden is going to run again.

I mean I'm hearing talk that Hillary Clinton will run again. At age 68, would she be capable of handling pressure. I mean her husband survived two terms with a stubborn Republican majority. He managed to survive his marriage after he had an affair with an intern or two. Yet, he managed to become one of the best presidents of the last century.

I hear talk from Democrats about a mayor from San Antonio, a former governor from Montana, a soon to be former governor from Maryland, a governor from New York and a senator from Massachusetts are being the next wave of political players.

I mean here we have the first Black president and his job approval is down. Some (if not most) of Barack Obama's harshest critics may tend to look at his race as a factor. Why?

Because the racist right looks at Black people as "natural born criminals". So with all this talk about him being unpatriotic, not an American citizen, a Muslim, a Communist, and a racist is the political dog whistle of those of the racist right.

Mike Huckabee goes to Loserville News Sunday and talks to Chris Wallace. He is often asked about why he didn't want the stressful job of being the President of The United States.

“It would be, frankly, dishonest to say no,” said Huckabee, a Loserville commentator, who plans to make a final decision after the 2014 elections.

Huckabee suggested that Americans tend to show less regard for a single, working mother than a member of the ruling class. He also defended his recent statement that Washington and Wall Street is the “axis of evil,” suggesting the connection between power and money doesn't regard the needs of middle-class Americans.

Americans have indeed embraced populist Democratic candidates over the past several months, including New York Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio, whose campaign focusing on perceived income inequality resonated with New York residents.

However, Huckabee made clear, “I don’t want big government to determine what income equality looks like.”

Huckabee decided in 2011 not to enter the most recent presidential election campaign, saying: “All of the factors say go, but my heart says no.”

On Sunday, he said there is about a "50-50" chance he will run. Huckabee also said his final decision would still come from the heart and that Republicans already have “a strong stable of candidates” for 2016.

He wants some considerable thought to running for the office once the U.S. Midterms settle down.

Yeah, Huckabee got into the flap over Duck Dynasty and even compared Phil (Robertson) to the president.

Yeah good luck on running for president. He won't stand a chance.

If Huckabee was to run for the office, he will immediately be let go from Loserville. Then he'll create a SuperPac. And then you'll hear about his appearances in Iowa, or at Liberty University.

I guess in January you'll hear the candidates declare their intentions to run. From there we're off to 2016.

Do you think the compassionate conservative will win?

Do you believe the Republicans will doom themselves to failure by being "too conservative"?

Will the racist right and conservative agitators go after Huckabee again?

They've went after Huckabee after perennial loser Mitt Romney lost the 2008 Republican primaries. They may rehash the incident in Washington state where an Black ex-convict killed a White family of four. Huckabee commuted the felon's sentence.

First year of Barack Obama's second term and already we hear more talk about 2016.

This is your junk food media folks.

Damon Wayans, Jr. Returns To New Girl!

New Girl on Fox features Zoey Deschenel, Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson, Lamorne Morris and Hannah Simone. Actor/comedian Damon Wayans, Jr. returns to the show.

Before ABC canceled the hit comedy Happy Endings actor/comedian Damon Wayans, Jr. was a main star on that sitcom. When ABC decided to burn out the remaining episodes of Happy Endings, they've greenlighted Wayans for the role of Coach for the Fox sitcom New Girl.

Due to the obligations of Happy Endings, he couldn't finish the role. So they hired on Lamorne Morris to be Coach's friend who moves in. During the three seasons, we seen a young socially inept woman and her three male roommates go through the trials and tribulations of life.

Jessica "Jess" Day (Zooey Deschanel) is a bubbly young woman who teaches at a Los Angeles middle school. Jess begins looking for a new place to live after breaking up with her boyfriend. She answers an ad for a new roommate on Craigslist, and moves in with three young men: Nick, Schmidt, and Coach. After the pilot episode, Winston, who had previously lived in the apartment with Nick and Schmidt, replaces Coach. Cece, Jessica's childhood best friend and a fashion model, also appears in various episodes in the storyline.

The show would feature a blossoming relationship between Jess and Nick (Jake Johnson). It would also be a storyline between Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Cece (Hannah Simone).

With the return of Wayans, would we see the show spin into another direction?

So far, I've been watching the series for some time now. It's a critically acclaimed sitcom. New Girl is a main feature on Tuesday nights at 9pm on Fox. It's a mildly raunchy show and each episode is typical of a buddy sitcom.

Somewhere in this show there's moral in each episode.

Damon Wayans, Jr. is a stand-up comedian, most widely known for starring as Brad Williams in the ABC comedy series Happy Endings and recurring as Coach in the Fox comedy series New Girl. He is the oldest son of actor-comedian Damon Wayans and nephew of Keenan Ivory Wayans, Kim Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Marlon Wayans.

Lord Infamous Passes Away!

Memphis is the home of the Oscar award winning rap group Three Six Mafia (aka Da  Mafia 6ix).

This year was great for the founding member Juicy J (Jordan Houston). The rapper was celebrating his successful mainstream album Stay Trippy. It's hailed as one of the best album in 2013. And with this joy comes a tragedy that hits real close.

The founding member of the Mafia, Lord Infamous (Ricky Dunigan) passes away over the weekend of an apparent heart attack.

He was 40 years old at the time of his death.

The Hollywood Reporter has further confirmed that the cause of death was a heart attack. "He said he was tired," his half-brother, Three 6 Mafia member DJ Paul said. "He wanted to sleep. He sat down at the kitchen table, put his head in his arms to lay down ... to get some sleep."

In 2006, they were the first rap group to win an Oscar for Best Original Song with "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp."

"He was a legend in the game, truly ahead of his time," DJ Paul (Paul Beauregard) said to Rolling Stone. "He was such a great lyricist and he always came with these different styles in his rap and his flow."

He was considered by fans and critics alike as being the darker member of the group, with his lyrics touching on occult subject matters such as satanism, mass murder, suicide, and torture.

Formed in 1991 as Backyard Posse then later Triple 6 Mafia, by DJ Paul, Lord Infamous, Juicy J and Koopsta Knicca, the group later included two more members including; Crunchy Black and Gangsta Boo (who were both added shortly before the release of their debut album Mystic Stylez).

The group has also collaborated with many rappers on their own label; Hypnotize Minds, where they have kick started the careers for many Memphis rappers, such as; Frayser Boy, Gangsta Blac, Lil Wyte and Indo G.

The group frequently collaborates with Project Pat (Juicy J's older brother).

Lord Infamous.
In 2006 following jail time which lead to a breach of contract with Sony, Lord Infamous was forced to end work with Three 6 Mafia. He is still on good terms with the group and was not kicked out of or left the group as many rumors had suggested.

In 2013, Infamous rejoined four of the original Three 6 Mafia members to form the group Da Mafia 6ix. They released their debut mixtape 6ix Commandments in late 2013 and are currently working on a studio album.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Lord Infamous.

4 Men Arrested In Mall Car Jacking Killing!

Dustin Friedland was murdered at a suburban New Jersey mall. The four men who done this senseless crime were caught. The racist right will make a fuss about it.

The racist right obsesses over Black on White crime. The individuals responsible for killing a man while he and his family were at suburban New Jersey mall were caught. Their mugs being shown to the press will certainly agitate the racist right.

The racist right will automatically assume that race contributed to the crime. Instead of the fact that the victim had a vehicle of opportunity, somehow, it's all about these so called anti-White individuals causing trouble.

Four men have been charged with murder, conspiracy and other counts in the death of a man shot in front of his wife outside an upscale mall in northern New Jersey last weekend, authorities said Saturday.

The suspects were identified as 29-year-old Hanif Thompson, of Irvington; 31-year-old Karif Ford, of Newark; 32-year-old Basim Henry, of Newark; and 33-year-old Kevin Roberts, of Newark.

They are accused in the Dec. 15 carjacking and killing of Dustin Friedland outside The Mall at Short Hills. The 30-year-old lawyer from Hoboken was shot in the head in the mall parking garage after being confronted by two carjackers, authorities said. The assailants drove off in his silver Range Rover, which was found the next morning in Newark, about 10 miles from Short Hills.

The four have been charged with murder, felony murder, carjacking, conspiracy, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. They were arrested between late Saturday and early Sunday. Three of them were taken into custody in New Jersey, and Henry was arrested in Easton, Pa.

The suspects are being held on $2 million bail each. It wasn't immediately clear if they had attorneys.
The four men responsible for the murder of a person who they decided to jack for his ride/
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray attributes the swift arrest to "good old-fashioned police work" and leads from the public.

The carjacking occurred just as Friedland and his wife, Jamie Schare Friedland, were ending a shopping trip. Mourners at Friedland's funeral on Wednesday said he had just opened the door of his SUV for his wife when he was shot.

Friedland had a law degree from Syracuse University and was project manager at his family's heating and air conditioning and heating company.

More than $40,000 was offered for information leading to the arrest of the killers.

Woman Jokes About AIDS Catches Flack!

Keep It Classy!

Keep it real classy, woman.

This idiotic woman goes to Twitter to make a stereotypical jab at the continent of Africa.

Justine Sacco was the head corporate director of IAC, until she booted over the weekend for a tweet she sent out.

Being an executive for the Internet giant InterActive Corp., which owns popular websites like Match.com, Dictionary.com, and Vimeo, one would have thought that her actions were more responsible than this.

She got booted when a person discovered a tweet from her account on Friday that read: "Going to Africa. Hope I don't get AIDS. Just kidding. I'm white!"

Here are some of her other offensive tweets from earlier this year and last year. No harm, right?

justine05
justine08
Sacco is aware of the dangers of being a public figure in the new media age her company helped usher in.

Sacco issued a statement after the fiasco.

"Words cannot express how sorry I am, and how necessary it is for me to apologize to the people of South Africa, who I have offended due to a needless and careless tweet," Sacco said. "There is an AIDS crisis taking place in this country, that we read about in America, but do not live with or face on a continuous basis. Unfortunately, it is terribly easy to be cavalier about an epidemic that one has never witnessed firsthand.

"For being insensitive to this crisis -- which does not discriminate by race, gender or sexual orientation, but which terrifies us all uniformly -- and to the millions of people living with the virus, I am ashamed.

"This is my father's country, and I was born here. I cherish my ties to South Africa and my frequent visits, but I am in anguish knowing that my remarks have caused pain to so many people here; my family, friends and fellow South Africans. I am very sorry for the pain I caused."

A trending hashtag #HasJustineLandedYet and parody account @LOLJustineSacco quickly appeared on Twitter after Sacco sent the tweet. A fake Facebook account under her name was also created, where a post links to www.justinesacco.com, which brings up a donation page for Aid for Africa.

"There is no excuse for the hateful statements that have been made and we condemn them unequivocally," the InterActive Corp statement said. "We hope, however, that time and action, and the forgiving human spirit, will not result in the wholesale condemnation of an individual who we have otherwise known to be a decent person at core."

A Tonsil Extraction Leads To Brain Dead Teen!

Jahi McMath (right) suffered a horrible fate.
This is one of those sleeper issues I've ignored until now. I didn't think too much of the situation. I thought it was a hoax. Apparently its's not a hoax.

A 13-year-old California girl declared brain dead after complications from a tonsillectomy should be kept on life support for the time being, a judge has ruled.

The family of Jahi McMath says doctors at Children's Hospital Oakland wanted to disconnect life support after Jahi was declared brain dead on Dec. 12.

Friday's ruling by Superior Court Judge Evelio Grillo came as both sides in the case agreed to get together and chose a neurologist to further examine Jahi and determine her condition. The judge scheduled a hearing Monday to appoint a physician.

The girl's family sought the court order to keep Jahi on a ventilator. They left the courtroom without commenting.

After her daughter underwent a supposedly routine tonsillectomy and was moved to a recovery room, Nailah Winkfield began to fear something was going horribly wrong.

Jahi was sitting up in bed, her hospital gown bloody, and holding a pink cup full of blood.

"Is this normal?" Winkfield repeatedly asked nurses.

With her family and hospital staff trying to help and comfort her, Jahi kept bleeding profusely for the next few hours then went into cardiac arrest, her mother said.

Despite the family's description of the surgery as routine, the hospital said in a memorandum presented to the court Friday that the procedure was a "complicated" one.

"Ms. McMath is dead and cannot be brought back to life," the hospital said in the memo, adding: "Children's is under no legal obligation to provide medical or other intervention for a deceased person."

Jahi McMath.
In an interview at Children's Hospital Oakland on Thursday night, Winkfield described the nightmarish turn of events after her daughter underwent tonsil removal surgery to help with her sleep apnea.

She said that even before the surgery, her daughter had expressed fears that she wouldn't wake up after the operation. To everyone's relief, she appeared alert, was talking and even ate a Popsicle afterward.

But about a half-hour later, shortly after the girl was taken to the intensive care unit, she began bleeding from her mouth and nose despite efforts by hospital staff and her family.

While the bleeding continued, Jahi wrote her mother notes. In one, the girl asked to have her nose wiped because she felt it running. Her mother said she didn't want to scare her daughter by saying it was blood.

Family members said there were containers of Jahi's blood in the room, and hospital staff members were providing transfusions to counteract the blood loss.

"I don't know what a tonsillectomy is supposed to look like after you have it, but that blood was un-normal for anything," Winkfield said.

The family said hospital officials told them in a meeting Thursday that they want to take the girl off life support quickly.

"I just looked at the doctor to his face and I told him you better not touch her," Winkfield recalled.
Surgical nightmare. Teen is brain dead after this one.

The family filed a request Friday for a temporary restraining order prohibiting the hospital from taking Jahi off life support or any of her other current treatment.

At the hearing later, the hospital's attorney, Doug Straus, said two doctors unaffiliated with the hospital examined Jahi and concluded that she was brain dead. But he said, "We're happy to cooperate with the judge's suggestion that an independent expert be provided to confirm yet again that brain death is the outcome that has occurred here."

The family's attorney, Christopher Dolan, said the family wanted independent tests of their own because they do not believe the hospital's physicians are sufficiently independent.

"There is mistrust and there is a conflict of interest," he said.

Judge Grillo said he would grant the restraining order in hopes that a resolution could be reached by Christmas to give the family peace of mind.

Hospitals do a barrage of sophisticated tests to determine brain death, said Dr. Cristobal Barrios, an associate professor and a trauma and critical care surgeon at the University of California, Irvine. He is not involved in Jahi's care and spoke about general hospital protocols.

The tests include touching a patient's cornea to elicit a blink, moving a breathing tube to stimulate a gag reflex, tickling the back of the throat to bring on a cough, and applying pressure or pain.

If the patient fails to respond to all of those tests, doctors remove the breathing tube for a few minutes. If there is any brain activity, the patient should begin breathing within a few minutes, he said.

In some cases, doctors will also draw a blood sample, add radioactive tags and re-inject it into the body to track where it flows. If the blood doesn't flow to the brain, Barrios said, there is no brain activity.

Generally, two teams of specialists must run the tests and determine independently that the patient is brain dead, he said. At UC Irvine, those evaluations must take place 12 hours apart if the patient is a child.

Barrios said it's not unusual for family members to resist a diagnosis of brain death.

While the hospital is not obligated to keep life support going after that diagnosis, Barrios has left brain dead patients hooked up for up to five days while family members move toward acceptance, he said.

"I understand why sometimes for families it's devastating and confusing," he said.

Bus Rider Knocks Out Robber!

The gunman, who police identified as 19-year-old Trevonnte Brown, had robbed two people aboard the bus before pointing the gun at this passenger’s face.
In a split second, the robber is disarmed.

Warning to all those wanna be heroes, do not try this stuff at home. Your life is more important than a piece of equipment or money. What these people did was bold and dangerous at best. Thankfully no one was hurt when this happened. But again people, don't lose your life trying to act like you're "SUPERMAN!"

A 19-year old man who just recently graduated high school was on a Seattle bus when we was trying to jack the passengers of their stuff.

One man, Chris Biggs decide to take an advantage of the young robber's arming position. The robber pointed his gun at Biggs and then the adrenaline rush got in him. He managed to wrestle out the gun out of the robber's hand and the remaining bus passengers were able to tackle him and disarm him.

Prosecutors believe 19-year-old Trevonnte Brown was wearing a ski mask when he boarded the bus Monday night near the intersection of 3rd and Pike in downtown Seattle. As the bus neared West Seattle, Brown allegedly held up three passengers at gunpoint, robbing them of their cell phones, before the third victim - and several other passengers - tackled him and held him down, authorities said.

Brown, a recent graduate of Franklin High School with no criminal history, waived his first appearance in court Tuesday afternoon. His mother sobbed as prosecutors called the South Seattle teenager an "extreme danger."

"That's not my son. That's not my son," said Brown's mother, Trina Clay, after the brief court hearing. "He's never done anything like this. This is not within his character. He wasn't raised like this."

Clay said Brown had recently broken up with a girlfriend and was looking for a new job, but that was no excuse for what he's accused of doing. She apologized to the passengers on board the bus.

"I don't know what happened. I just don't know what's been going on. I tried to talk to him. And he just says he's fine, he's fine," she said, sobbing. "I know that's not him. Something was wrong with my son. I know they're going to try to railroad him (because of what) everything everybody else is doing on King County buses right now."

Surveillance video shows the moments after the bus parked in the 6000 block of California Avenue Monday night, and passengers rushed toward a nearby protected walkway.

"I just heard a lot of noises, high-pitched voices, and assumed it was a ruckus," said Kelli Henderson, whose business, ZippyDogs, captured the moment on tape. "Both the doors on the bus opened up and people were running off, and a lot of people went over here to kind of seek shelter and refuge over here."

Across the street, salon owner Christina Darragh said she saw Brown trying to kick his way out of a police car once he'd been handcuffed.

"At that point it's really loud because he just kept slamming his legs up against the side door, and eventually he pushed right through - broke right through the window," she said.
Teen arrested in armed robbery has no criminal record.
Darragh said she was grateful for the people who stepped in to tackle the gunman on board the bus.

"(One man) was the one who actually put his finger into the trigger - in back of this guy's trigger finger and he stopped that and all three of the guys went and took the guy down," she said. "I'm really impressed. That's the way West Seattle is, to be honest with you."

Not far from where the bus ended up, Brown's cousin, Anthony Clay Jr., was stunned by the news of his relative's arrest.

"He's such a good kid. It's not him. It's not him at all," Clay said. "Our family is a structured family based off of respect. He knows right from wrong. There has to be somebody behind it that's telling him to do it."

Brown could face more than 15 years in prison if convicted on the three robbery counts he's facing.

"I don't want him to go to prison. He's not ready for jail. He's not ready for prison," his mother added. "That's not my son."

Chris Biggs, who was one of two people robbed before the wild brawl, said he didn’t hesitate to join other Good Samaritans in helping to bring the suspect down.
The rush got to him. He nailed the suspect.
Anyways, since the racist right is on this kick about Black on White crime. Let's examine the scenario of this situation. The public transportation system King Metro covers the metro Seattle/Bellevue area.

Obviously, you'll hear about Trayvon Martin or President Barack Obama in their statements. It's obviously the uniqueness of how the racist right reacts. See they go bananas when they are called racist. They believe that they're not racist. They're patriots fighting against the leeches, parasites and followers of Obama.

The people on the bus were all individuals who were "crime of opportunity".

So many racist White extremists always assume that these criminals are "racist" because they rob or injure White people. The teen wanted fast cash and the bragging rights of not being caught.

I mean he has to be one of the most stupidest criminals in history.

But that's the only criticism I have for the kid.

Rush Limbaugh's Only Black Friend Died!

Black conservative pastor and former NFL player Ken Hutcherson passes away.

I know that King Hippo has plenty of Black (conservative) friends. Obviously whenever he's gone he'll put on that old school Black conservative Walter Williams to fill in whenever he's away.

I know that Bo Snardly is his Black phone call screener.

But retired NFL player Ken Hutcherson, the guy who officiated the fourth marriage of the conservative agitator died. The conservative agitator offers his condolences to the only Black man he actually ain't attack on daily basis.

He was a Black conservative and one of the few guest that was featured on that conservative agitator's program. He would call in during special events and talk to about personal issues.

Hutcherson played linebacker for Livingston University (now the University of West Alabama) from 1970-73. He was a starting outside linebacker for the Tiger’s 1971 NAIA National Championship team, and was an All-American both his junior and senior seasons.

He was the NAIA National Player of the Week in 1972 when he made 21 tackles against Southern State. Hutcherson was named GSC Defensive Player of the Year in 1972, and was an All-GSC and All-Alabama Small College selection in 1972 and 1973.

Hutcherson was drafted in the fourth round by the Dallas Cowboys in 1974, and played five years in the NFL spending time with the Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, and Seattle Seahawks.

He was the senior pastor at Antioch Bible Church in Kirkland, Washington, where he had been since 1985. His nickname from his NFL days was "The Hutch". Hutcherson died on December 18, 2013 after more than a decade-long battle with prostate and bone cancer.

In addition to his wife, Pat, and four children, Hutcherson is survived by his mother.

Publicly, Hutcherson would often call in to King Hippo's program around NFL playoffs and Super Bowl time.

Upon hearing about the Black conservative's death, the conservative agitator told his audience that Hutcherson meant the world to him. He said that he wouild be sorely missed and the impact his death would have on others like himself.

Conservative agitator shares his wedding photos to his audience.
KING HIPPO: "He was a man, folks. There was no complaining. There was no bleeding on people. There was none of that. He didn't want his relationship with anybody to be defined, even in what turned out to be the latter months of his life, by his illness. He was a devout Christian. He was a devout practicing Christian. And, as such, I don't think that he feared death because of that. But he's gone now, and it's a great, great loss for his congregation and his family because he's a unique individual. Nobody can be replaced when they're gone, but he's created an especially huge void for a lot of people because he was a counselor to people in trouble, no matter what the problem was."

Hutcherson also made frequent appearances on Chalk E Becker's programs. On December 17, 2013, he right wing media mogul devoted a portion of his program to his friend Hutcherson.

Beck tweeted the same day: "I just spoke to Hutch tonight. He is dying. He promised me that he will wait until I can get there Friday. Pray for his sweet wife and children."

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Ken Hutcherson.

Quacked Up!

Duck, Duck, Goose!

I never seen the show for two reasons. One, I am not a fan of reality television. Two, I don't watch cable television.

Okay, the country's most popular reality series Duck Dynasty has a huge fan base. The Robertson family who wacky antics which is covered by the A & E network. The cast is facing some huge controversy.

Phil, the patriarch of the Robertson family is facing some huge flack after he made statements about homosexuality in which he said the following in the men's magazine GQ, "Everything is blurred on what's right and what's wrong… Sin becomes fine. Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men."

"Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right."

Phil added, "It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man's anus. That's just me. I'm just thinking: There's more there! She's got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I'm saying? But hey, sin: It's not logical, my man. It's just not logical."

Yeah, that got the A & E to pull the trigger on him. He was suspended indefinitely from Duck Dynasty.

That caused a huge blow to the program. Because without him, the show is pretty much on its death null.

And the way it's going,  A & E may pull the plug on the show entirely.

The Robertsons' owned business makes products for duck hunters, primarily the duck call named Duck Commander.

The Robertson men, brothers Phil, Si, and Phil's sons Jase, Willie, and Jep, are known for their long beards.

The business began in a family shed, where Phil Robertson spent 25 years making duck calls from Louisiana cedar trees.

His son Willie is now the CEO of the company. The family was previously featured on the series Benelli Presents Duck Commander and its spin-off Buck Commander, which still airs on the Outdoor Channel.

The show has broken several ratings records on both A&E and cable television as a whole; the fourth season premiere drew 11.8 million viewers, the most-watched nonfiction cable telecast in history.

Now the racist right is livid over the Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil being suspended from the show after he spoke those controversial statements about the LGBT community.

The racist right is pissed over this. They plan an all out boycott against the A & E network.

Stallmigo Ted Cruz (R-TX), King Hippo, Palin Da Ass, That Guy Who Helped Obama Win and That Guy Who Throws Shit On The Wall, and Loserville are working into overdrive. The overdrive has gotten our attention over at Journal de la Reyna.

I know that Phil is entitled to his opinions. He wasn't on the program expressing his opinion. But since he signed the contract, he represents A & E. The network has an image. They want those who are a part of the network to represent them positively.

Yeah, I think he's gotten a bum rap after this.

Last year, Mike Huckabee, former Republican presidential candidate went to the radio asking for support of fast food company Chick Fil A after its CEO made controversial statements about the LGBT community.

But business is business and you're obligated to doing what the network asks or you're out!

But again, I have no issues with the LGBT community. They want to live their lives in peace and harmony.

They're not hurting me or anyone else. They want to the freedom to marry. Let them.

Anyway, do you believe that Phil's suspension was justified?

Do you think that Phil, Alec Baldwin and Martin Bashir are being blackballed because they're popular celebrities?

Is it fair to say the racist right fighting a battle they'll know they could lose?

Will Duck Dynasty end up on Loserville or The Blaze?

Black Conservative: You "BLACK PEOPLE" Better Quit Whining About Slavery!

Tea Party invokes slavery again!

Some Black extremist claims that "US BLACK FOLK" are still whining about how we're not getting our fair shake. So it's fair for Black Republicans to use the term "slavery" when it comes to their freedoms being violated. But for the rest of "US BLACK FOLK" who are a little bit more rational, we're not allowed to say it!

Like it's our fault that the economic gap between races is still unequal.

To the Black Republicans, they believe that it's President Barack Obama's fault for the high unemployment in the Black community. Despite over 70 years of achievements and failures, "US BLACK FOLK" are still living in a country where we're the bottom and those who aren't Black are at the top.

Black Republicans don't want to hear about their party being "RACIST". It drives them nuts. White conservatives are the same. They want to say condescending things without being called "RACIST".

The point of the matter is that in one breathe, Black Republicans want to blame the Democratic Party for the economic woes of "US BLACK FOLK". They believe they are SOLELY responsible for the Civil Rights Act. They keep forgetting that those damn Democrats were the ones who integrated the military. They passed the Civil Rights Act. They elected twice the first Black president.

Anything else?

The Huffington Post reports that a New Mexico county tea party leader has sparked controversy by tweeting a meme Wednesday that strongly suggests blacks use the dark legacy of slavery in America for "bitching and moaning about how the world owes them a living."

On the 148th anniversary of the end of slavery, Glynis Racine of the Lincoln County Tea Party Patriots tweeted the following and deleted it shortly thereafter:
tweet
Black conservative tweets a negative comparison.
ProgressNow also slammed the tweet in a press release.

"In an apparent attempt to contribute to our modern understanding of American history, the tea party leader reminds followers that early American slavery included African and non-African people alike," wrote the group. "But her quest for 'facts' includes her own assertion that all African-Americans are 'bitching and moaning' about how the world owes them a living.”

“Glynis is exactly the type of fear mongering leader Fox News and the conservative movement push to the front of their movement," said Patrick Davis of Progress Now New Mexico. "They shouldn’t be surprised they are having a hard time recruiting blacks, Hispanics or reasonable people of any color to their side.”

Though she deleted the tweet, Racine defended herself, saying it was time to "move on" from slavery.

The Lincoln County Tea Party Patriots and representatives for TeaParty.org, a national tea party site, did not immediately return requests for comment from The Huffington Post.

The tweet comes at a particularly bad time for conservative groups, which were thrust into the unflattering national spotlight during last week's budget deal negotiations.

In a press conference about the budget deal, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) slammed the Republican Party's more conservative sects, calling their unwillingness to compromise with Democrats "ridiculous," and accusing them of "misleading their followers."

As Boehner said, "Frankly, I just think they've lost all credibility."

Boehner, you can't control your own party! Why do you have an opinion?
