Stockton, CA: Help Us Congress! We're Going Broke!
American mayors in major cities are demanding progress. Mayors are trying to revitalize their communities and the Congress is relativity screwing up with funds to help! The Republican controlled House of Representatives are delaying votes on the job/infrastructure and student loans bills. The Democratic Senate has went to bat on these issues only to have filibusters from Senators John Barrasso (R-Wyoming), Jim Inhofe (R-Oklahoma), Mike Lee (R-Utah), Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) and Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina).
The Republicans won't vote on any bill without domestic austerity cuts. The Democrats won't concede to spending cuts to domestic programs. The Democrats are trying to wake up the public by saying the Republicans are intentionally trying to destroy the economy to get back into power.
Stockton, California, a community that's between San Francisco and Sacramento is going to be filing for bankruptcy if the Congress doesn't pass federal funding for the city.
California legislators have worked all they could and now Governor Jerry Brown is calling upon Congress to step in to prevent the city from being literally broke.
With nearly 300,000 people, Stockton could become the first American city with a major population to ever declare bankruptcy. According to the Associated Press, to plug next year's anticipated $26 million shortfall, the proposed budget would suspend payments for debts and legal claims, reduce payments for retiree medical benefits, further cut some pay and benefits, and increase revenue through code enforcement and parking citations.
The unemployment rate has doubled in Stockton over the past decade and now hovers around 16 percent. One-fifth of residents live below the poverty line, and the city has twice topped Forbes magazine's list of "America's most miserable cities."
Under a bankruptcy filing, officials would retain power over day-to-day city operations and staffing, but a judge would take over all decisions concerning the city's debts, said Robert Benedetti, professor of political science at the University of the Pacific in Stockton.
The judge would decide which creditors should be paid, how much and in what order. He would make allowances for expenditures needed by the city to function, and it would be up to city officials to decide how to spend that money.
"One of the reasons a city might want to go the bankruptcy route is that they don't want a situation where they have to pay out debts and have to close the police or fire department," Benedetti said. "Filing for Chapter 9 means you're asking the court to protect you against lawsuits from people who hold your debt."
Stockton's bankruptcy would make it the largest city by population to file for Chapter 9 protection, according to Jim Spiotto, a Chicago bankruptcy lawyer who tracks such cases. He said Bridgeport, Conn., was the largest city to file for bankruptcy, which it did in 1991, followed by Vallejo, Calif., which filed in 2008.

R. Kelly: The King Of Debt & Bills!
Singing the blues. IRS saying R. Kelly owes them big time! |
You can sing your way out of a trial but yet again, problems face the 45 year old singer Robert Sylvester Kelly. The IRS is looking at the singer for unpaid taxes and yes this can land him back in court again.
According to E! News Online, the singer owes nearly $5 million in unpaid expenses dating back from 2005 to 2010.
Others who have tax problems include Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, media mogul Martha Stewart, political pundit Dick Morris, actor Wesley Snipes, entertainers Willie Nelson, Lil' Wayne and Lauryn Hill.
The issue comes at a bad time! R. Kelly recently had surgery on his throat and had a divorce finalized after recent split from his 12 year marriage to Andrea Lee Kelly.
R. Kelly has been one successful pop singer. Since his breakout in the late 1980s, the singer has went on to release over 15 albums and is proclaimed as the King of R & B.
His turmoils included the marriage to the late singer Aaliyah, which led to their acrimonious split from producing albums together.
The feud with rapper/media mogul Jay-Z. The rapper and singer had apparent scheduling conflicts and huge egos at the time of their collaboration album The Best of Both Worlds. The singer was apparently upset over Jay-Z performing at concerts with or without him, and they clashed behind the curtain. A member of Jay-Z entourage pepper sprayed Kelly and his bodyguards. That led to a federal lawsuit. They haven't spoken or collaborated since the incident.
The allegations of having sex with minors have been plaguing R. Kelly for years. From Aaliyah to an alleged tape of the singer having sex with a young woman who turned out to be under age. Kelly was indicted in Chicago on 21 counts of having sex with a minor, which were later reduced to soliciting a minor for child pornography. The singer managed to beat the case.
This recent controversy is certainly going to have the critics talking. Yes, I am sure they'll eventually say something about the child pornography/sex with minor issue! Some won't acknowledge that he was acquitted on the charges, but since he's in trouble again, they'll keep dinging him until he's dead and gone.
The singer's representatives are telling the media that the issue will be solved quickly and R. Kelly looks forward to promoting his next albums.

Stuck In Their Ways: Republicans And Conservatives Are The Least Informed!
Washed up celebrity, former Saturday Night Live comedian Victoria Jackson became the one of the voices of the Tea Party Movement. She represents the mind set of Republicans and their conservative allies. Stuck in their ways! You can't tell her anything! No matter what anyone tells her, she'll still think the president is a foreign invader that's a "socialist". Although she's not a professional bigot, her statements about the president can dog whistle extremists. The Republicans can't stand President Barack Obama. They'll find ways to defeat him and the misinformed White conservative voter is the key to their success. |
Barack Obama hasn't done nothing in the three years of being the President of The United States. The common theme of Republicans and their allies in the conservative movement.
The president hasn't provided his birth certificate. The president spent over $2 million trying to have his lawyers to keep the American people from knowing. Even though, President Barack Obama shown both his birth certificates, this issue won't die. The conservatives believe that he's a Muslim or the anti-Christ. They think either he's a Kenyan or Indonesian.
The president takes too many vacations. He spending taxpayer dollars to take vacations in Hawaii, Spain and India. He golfs too much and his fat wife eats bison ribs with apple pie. We don't care if he gets paid annually $400,000 a year, and he's required to pay for his expenses. But to conservatives, that's not an issue, as long as he takes a vacation or spends time with his family, they'll complain.
The president is acting like Richard Nixon when it comes to executive orders. He's withholding documents in relation to Operation Fast & Furious. This issue is big as Watergate, and the media ignores this! This is a political witch hunt that started back in 2010, when Republican lawmaker Darrell Issa of California tried to push his radical hearings on the administration. He even declared that President Barack Obama is the most corrupt leader to ever be elected.
The president is acting like Jimmy Carter when it comes to the economy. How much have you spent on gasoline? The president wants gas up to $8 a gallon and wants us to drive Prius and public transportation. He wants put solar panels on the White House. He's hoping to pass a fairness doctrine to silence conservative talk radio. Even though this would be a consideration by his progressive supporters, President Barack Obama hasn't taken anyone's guns, anyone's rights to speech, or anyone's thoughts of dissent.
The president wants to be like George W. Bush when he's taking credit for the former president's successes. If it wasn't for Bush we wouldn't have caught Osama bin Laden. GM and Chrysler would be in toilet because of the policies Bush left for President Barack Obama. The president using drones in foreign nations and declaring war without approval for Congress. When Bush was in office, Congress agreed with him in going into Iraq and Afghanistan. When Stanley McChrystal asked the president to give him a troop surge, Obama ignored him for four months. When he gave his the needed troops, he only got less than requested. So you're saying that it's the policies that President Barack Obama signed into law worked? Of course, not! You got a candidate who wants Republicans to avoid to talking about improvements to the economy. The only card the foolish perennial candidate wants to play. While his political party is trying to sabotage the president's agenda by delaying votes and filibustering, the political headwinds are bad for any incumbent.
Barack Obama is bowing to foreign leaders, giving praise and support to terrorist groups. Look at the Egyptian election. The Muslim Brotherhood won the presidency and their goal is to see the destruction of Israel. The president would rather support evil murderous Islamist thugs than the people of Israel. He leaves Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after a state dinner when the president got pissy over the prime minister scolding of him. The president rather diss our allies and support our enemies. He's taller than most leaders, and people shouldn't even worry about that. At least President Barack Obama never put his lips on foreign leaders like his predecessor.
Who does Barack Obama think he is? The President of The United States?
This is the word salad according to a conservative. They can't even decide on which issue they want to scapegoat the president with. Conservatives can't allow Barack Obama chart his own legacy. They have to compare him to the previous presidents of the last 50 years. And being a Black man in the White House, the conservatives would rather use race as a scapegoat when the president's policies aren't aligned to their radical agenda.
The Republicans are so fixated on some of the most trivial things in America. They would rather see the economy tank in order to defeat the president. The political party is trying to stomach Mitt Romney but they'll settle with him over the "Communist In The White House!"
The Republicans riled up over gay activists throwing the middle finger to Ronald Reagan. The official portrait of course. Yet, they send racist emails, disrupt the president during a press conference, call him everything but Mr. President. The Republicans get upset over issues that have nothing to do with what we are facing.
Rehashing 2008 U.S. presidential elections is a tactic of conservative agitators. The Republicans would love the Romney campaign to seek out cracks within the president's allies. They've been on Cory Booker, Bill Clinton, Ed Randell and even Vice President Joe Biden criticisms of the president. The conservatives want Mitt Romney to go after the president over Jeremiah Wright, The New Black Panthers, Operation Fast & Furious and of course the statement "The private sector is doing fine!"
The Republicans and their conservative allies are professional bigots. They are strengthen by motivating a simplistic group of people who lack intelligence. The Republicans are really hoping to rile up White conservative males into voting against President Barack Obama. The professional bigot would love to see the White conservative male upset over issues. They can't stand him so they'll use dog whistle statements and bumper sticker phrases to get them riled up. The riled up White conservative male will flood the internet comment sections, call-in talk shows, protest rallies with rhetoric that comes off as inflammatory, condescending or even racist.
Science proven that conservatives and racists are simple minded individuals who rally on divisiveness and division.
Yes, it's true! But to a conservative, facts are just liberal lies that the media tell you!
SCOTUS: Arizona Law Smack Down!
In what may perceived as a victory to civil rights groups and the Obama administration in a 5 - (3) decision with Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Anthony Kennedy siding with the liberal wing, Arizona's immigration law revisions were struck down with one revision remaining.
Justice Elena Kagan did not participate in the decision. The controversial Arizona law that advocated racial profiling of undocumented workers and sometimes American citizens was handed a stinging blow.
The Obama administration's challenge to Arizona's aggressive immigration law was merited with a decision. The justices strike out multiple provisions but upholding the "papers please" provision. Civil rights groups argue the latter measure, a centerpiece of S.B. 1070, invites racial profiling. For now, it's still a pull and please show identification legislation. But this ruling is likely going to cancel out Alabama, Florida and other states from creating their own immigration laws.
Republicans are not popular among the Hispanic community. Their nominee Mitt Romney is suffering from the worst deficit in minority votes in years. Romney has a strong white male vote but lacks in the remaining minorities and white women vote. President Barack Obama has a 3:1 advantage over the Republican nominee.
Also with this ruling, you may see Republican House and Senate lawmakers will horse manure federal immigration laws. They'll gradually push forth laws that may discriminate towards minorities.
The Republicans fear that if undocumented workers apply for American citizenship, and register to vote, they'll end up voting for the Democrat.
Republican governor Jan Brewer express somewhat disappointment in the decision but yet kept up the charade of being defiant in the face of federal law. Maricopa County sheriff Joe Apario, a Republican, express pure defiance and says he'll continue to aggressive stop illegals from entering his county. The U.S. Justice Department is in the process of indicting the sheriff for civil rights and cruelty charges. Embattled Republican sheriff Paul Babeu hadn't spoken on the issue yet. He's under investigation for an alleged bribery attempt after he was outed by his undocumented boyfriend.
Now the historic American Health Care Reform (aka Obamacare) decision is coming down. We'll keep you posted on the decision. This decision could shake the national debate on federal mandates for insurance coverage.

Hip-Hop Mogul Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond Faces The Music!
James "Jimmy Henchmen" Rosemond was indicted on federal charges for a murder-for-hire plot that killed an associate of 50 Cent's G-Unit crew. Rick Ross, a former rival of 50 Cent poses with the media mogul and his wife. Rick Ross was managed by Czar Entertainment which has 50 Cent's former ally The Game under its wing. |
Czar Entertainment is the management company of entertainers, Rick Ross, The Game, Gucci Mane, Brandy and Shyne.
Rap mogul James Rosemond, known as Jimmy Henchmen is facing some federal charges. The rap mogul was arrested this year after allegations of a murder-for-hire plot were uncovered. Rosemond is also in trouble after he was indicted on federal charges of distributing cocaine through his other venues.
Rosemond was an enemy to rappers Tupac Shakur and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. In 1994, Shakur was nearly shot and killed by unknown assailants. Shakur had placed the blame on New York rapper Notorious B.I.G., Sean "Puffy" Combs and Rosemond for a deliberate set up! The rapper made songs dissing them.
50 Cent was engaged in a major feud with his group member The Game. In 2005, the rapper went on radio to air out his frustrations on Hot 97 FM with shock jock Funkmaster Flex. The Game was unceremoniously fired after the rapper bragged that 50 Cent had no influence on his album sales. The Game and his entourage came to the radio station and one member fired into the radio station after a conflict with the 50 Cent's bodyguards.
Tony Yayo and another member of 50 Cent's crew G-Unit attacked Rosemond's son. Yayo was given a three year probation. Lowell
"Lodi Mac" Fletcher was gunned down in September of 2009, shortly after
he was released from prison for assaulting Rosemond's son.
Gunmen Rodney Johnson, 37 and Brian McLeod, 40, were hired by Rosemond to murder Fletcher, in exchange for drugs.
The news of the murder charges comes as federal authorities investigate Rosemond, who is currently facing federal charges for cocaine distribution.
Game and Rosemond spearheaded the "G-Unot" campaign during the feud, which climaxed with a shooting in front of Hot 97 that left one man from California wounded.
Shortly afterwards, 50 Cent and Game publicly ended their feud, although incidents of violence continued to occur in the years after.

The 47-year-old chief executive of New York-based Czar Entertainment
is already imprisoned. He was recently convicted in federal court in
Brooklyn on drug trafficking charges.
Rosemond's lawyer did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
He is behind such hits as Salt-N-Pepa's "Shoop".
The federal charges implicated towards Rosemond carry the death penalty. If he takes the plea deal, he may get life in prison.
But it's unlikely Jimmy Henchmen goes out like a punk! After all he doesn't "snitch!"
That's part of the Stop Snitching Campaign that he and The Game sponsored when they launch the G-Unit (G-Unot) boycott.

Democratic House Leader Pelosi: GOP Want Voter Suppression!
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-California) is the former Speaker of the House. Her legacy as a progressive and effective leader was scrutinized by Republicans and conservatives who painted her a wicked witch and an overreaching politician. After her term expired, she became the Democratic Minority Leader. |
This contempt charge to Attorney General Eric Holder by the Republicans have the Democrats angry.
Minority House Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-California) is concerned that this political gamesmanship is another attempt to stop the U.S. Justice Department from preventing Republican-controlled state legislator's attempts to suppress voters in minority-majority areas.
Republicans are sinking in popularity. Anti-incumbent fever is growing once again. Congress job approval is only 17% according to Gallup. People are not seeing progress in Congress.
Why are government workers getting furlows while our U.S. Representatives and Senators still get paychecks?
The Republicans are likely to have a hold on the House of Representatives and a possibility of taking back the Senate.
With this 112th Congress, Republicans had once said they'll lead the charge on bring back jobs to those struggling! That was quickly thrown out the window the moment they took the oath of office.
The Republicans spent nearly this session of Congress trying to pass legislation that could unravel the progress the president put forth to fix the struggling economy. The Republicans took funding from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (known as the stimulus) and used it to get projects done in their congressional district. And yet they complain that it didn't solve the problems we're facing. The Republicans want to repeal healthcare reform (Obamacare), roll back regulations on banks and Wall Street (Dodd-Frank), and open up federal lands for oil drilling (in regards to the Keystone XL Pipeline). They want to stop funding to NPR/PBS, Planned Parenthood. Austerity cuts to farm subsidies (which includes food stamps), privatizing Medicare/Medicaid and social security. They want to pass legislation that may restrict a woman's right to have an abortion. The Republicans will not support any legislation without domestic austerity cuts.
The Republicans will not reimburse land to the Native Americans. They think the land reimbursement is a bad idea and land should be granted to private businesses to develop resources.
The Republicans want to stop minorities from voting by allowing state legislators pass laws that could restrict voters to participate. Those who registered to vote but rarely vote are likely to be the subject of Republicans. They figure that minorities and younger voters are the key to the president. If they could prevent them from voting, they could win.
President Barack Obama can't really do much during a gridlock in Congress. The Republicans are licking the chops hoping that the public would blame the president for the economy instead of them.
The president has demanded that Congress pass a highway and student loans bill. So far nothing has happened. The Congress hasn't passed a job's bill. There's thousands of construction projects that could be delayed and eventually scrapped. People are looking for Congress to do something that could help student's with federal loans. The loan rate will increase in a few days and Congress haven't put forth a debate on this.
Yet, the House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) is likely to side with fellow Republicans on holding a contempt vote against Holder.
Congressman Darrell Issa (R-California) wants to push forth this contempt charge against Holder. He generated a lot of attention during his chairmanship in House Oversight Committee. This year, when Georgetown University student and activist Sandra Fluke wasn't allow to testify during a debate on contraception. Republicans are looking to make a dent into the president by this ridiculous witch hunt over the botched gun running operation Fast & Furious.
The possible Supreme Court decision on healthcare reform is coming and Republicans are looking into hoping it will be strike down. The White House and Republicans are nervously cautious about the pending decision.
The Republicans want to repeal and replace. Yet, there's no talk about talk about replacements to health care reform.
Look I am all about getting things done, and the Republican Party haven't put forth an effort to help the president solve these problems. Their goal is to sabotage the president and hope the public blames him instead of them. The listened to the loud vocal minority of talk radio, the blogs and radical extremist in religion to guide them. They enjoy the millions of dollars from wealthy donors who want to ruin the environment, put forth legislation that supports the radical Christian agenda, and keep minorities away from succeeding by letting them kill one another in the cities while they watch it on their television in the suburbs.
Yes,
Republicans are screaming at success, cheering for failure.
The Republican Party pander to the extremists. White conservative males have lower intelligence! This is ripe for the picking of the professional bigots that run within the Republican Party. They need to keep them riled up with issues like gay marriage, gun control, radical Islam, Black on White crime and the undocumented workers taking jobs from hard working white people.
A majority of the public is bought into this crap that comes from the Republican Party. Wonder why they still can't figure out whether the president is a Christian or Muslim? Ask the Republican Party.

Ohio Cops Nab Serial Flasher!
In Dayton, Ohio, the community was gripped with a serial pervert who stalked the neighborhoods harassing citizens by inappropriately fondling himself, has been caught.
Kawaun Raheem Olegsby, 29 was arrested by the police after people spotted him in the area performing a sex act upon himself.
Many citizens were frightened by the gentleman because of his height and tendencies to become violent if he was approached.
According to WHIO-TV, a CBS affiliate from Dayton, Ohio, the suspect was apparently doing his act multiple times in the neighborhoods close to where he was eventually caught.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, about 6 feet tall, 250 to 300 pounds.
Known as the serial flasher, Olegsby frequently wears a white T-shirt or towel over his face while touching himself in front of women, has been spotted at least five times this week.
He stands at arresting time at 6'4'' over 250 pounds. This gentleman will be appearing in the Montgomery County Ohio court on Monday to face charges of public indecency.
The coverage of the serial flasher comes off Dayton's News Source YouTube page.
Former Black Panther Charles Barron Run For Congress Will Rile Up Republicans!
Perennial candidate Charles Barron (right) is running for retiring Democratic Congressman Edolphus Towns seat. Many Democrats fear that Barron's rhetoric could put the seat in Republicans hands. They throwing their support to Hakeem Jefferies, (left), a New York Assemblyman from Brooklyn. Barron is a former Black Panther who has rhetoric that can come off as totally offensive! |
New York City councilman Charles Barron is no stranger to the media. After all he's been the token Democrat on that old Fox News debate show with serial agitators Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes.
Now that he's back in the limelight once again. The U.S. Congressional seat being vacated by Representative Edolphus Towns is going to be a safe seat for the Democrats. But if Charles Barron wins, then it's going to be a disaster. A seat that should be considered safe for the Democrats may swing to the Republicans.
Towns and many other representatives gotten so frustrated with fellow members stalling progress, the safest thing for them to do is retire. The Democrats are dispirited by the lack of steadiness from President Barack Obama and members of Congress. They may sit it out if President Barack Obama doesn't get his "Hope" back!
Barron is no stranger to controversy. He was once a member of the original Black Panthers for Self Justice. This would be his umpteenth time running for higher office so this would make him a perennial candidate.
Congressman Edolphus Towns (D-New York) |
A man who wants to focus on issues such as the controversial New York Police Department's Stop & Frisk maneuver. A man who wants to bring business to the struggling communities. Cool. But his radical statements such as reparations for slavery will unease the Democratic Party and even Black leaders.
A man who is out there protesting the NYPD for using deadly force on unarmed citizens such as Sean Bell, Amadou Bailo Diallo, Timothy Stansbury, and others. He's protested the controversial profiling of Muslims in New York. Cool. But his reactionary outrage and standing near the New Black Panthers and Nation of Islam is a reason for concern among the Democratic Party.
So the Democrats got a bit of nervousness. If Barron does win the Democratic primary he's going to sink President Barack Obama in the general.
The conservatives already paint President Barack Obama as some New Black Panther, Marxist who tax and spend on White people's money! Conservatives believe that the president was born a radical who wants to redistribute the wealth so his "brothas" Louis Farrakhan, Spike Lee and Jesse Jackson can have their 40 acres and a mule.
The conservatives ridicule him for takes golf outings and his family on vacations. The conservatives think that the president is actually a Muslim. Some even think that since he's good friends with Al Sharpton, Barron would be another one of those so-called radical friends.
And of course, the ongoing vetting by Sean Hannity and his Agitation Express (or what I call his radio and television programs).
Also a notorious bigot by the name of Dr. David Duke endorsed Charles Barron. Duke despises the tactics used by Barron, but he found mutual agreement with the councilman over the issues with Israel. Barron channels Representative Ron Paul (R-Texas) theory of cutting off foreign aid to Israel. As with Duke, Charles Barron believe that Israel is the cause of turmoil in the world. David Duke is a member of the White Nationalist community Stormfront and is a public speaker in racist circles. Duke was a perennial candidate who managed to serve one term as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. He was the former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. Duke was the clean cut professional bigot.
For anyone who thinks White supremacists are stupid assholes who have nothing better to do with their lives other than agitate the Black community. You're wrong! The most dangerous person is the professional bigot.
The professional bigot can create websites, rally up fundraising and agitate a disturbed individual into committing an act that may inflict harm on a person without the professional bigot getting their hands dirty.
Barron is being challenged by Hakeem Jeffries, a New York Assemblyman who represents a portion of the Brooklyn neighborhoods. Jeffries, is an unknown on the national level. Rest assured that the Democratic Party is going to make sure he's their pick. They don't want Barron to win because the party thinks his statements could sabotage the president.
Right now, a Republican hasn't declared an intent on running. There's a third party candidate in the race. A person from the New York Conservative Party. The Conservative Party of New York is a far right political organization that endorses candidates for general election. They also sync with Republicans if the candidate decides to run on the same principles of the third party.
Barron is a figure that could spell disaster for the Democratic Party. Although it's likely Hakeem Jeffries is going to be the nominee for the district, we have to be very careful about the mood of the people in that district. They're may be a few New Black Panthers waving batons and giving menacing looks at voters!
Of course I am being sarcastic!
But seriously, put your chips on the less controversial candidate!

Another Flesh Eating Incident! Man Bites A Piece Of Arm And The Police Arrest!
Charles Baker , 26 could pass as a stand in for the late Ol' Dirty Bastard. Another incident that involves Black men and bath salts! This incident copies the controversial incident in which a Miami man mulled off the face of a homeless man! |
Once again, Black men and women! Get the hell off them balt salts!
You're giving more ammunition to conservatives and White supremacists who want to paint the Black community as "Niggers" and "primates". They want to find another reason to taint President Barack Obama and use this as way to dog whistle extremists.
Florida once again is the place for another incident that lands a man in jail. This is not as bad as the Rudy Eugene and Ron Poppo incident, but it's a trend that has to be getting the attention of Florida legislators.
A Tampa Bay area man has gotten himself in a fix.
This young man stripped himself naked and went forth to attacking a person and the police had to restrain him.
According to CBS Tampa, the Manatee County sheriff’s report stated that Charles Baker, 26, showed up at his girlfriend’s house in Palmetto high on an unknown substance. Baker knocked on the door, and barged in the house screaming. Then he took off his clothes and started throwing the furniture around.
The report indicated he would not calm down, so Jeffrey Blake, 48, a resident of the home, tried to restrain him. Baker then bit him and took a “chunk of meat out of his left bicep.” Blake was still able to restrain Baker on the floor, and held him there until the police arrived.
This incident adds to a string of drug-related “zombie” attacks. Last month Miami police said Rudy Eugene was under the influence of “Bath Salts” when he stripped down and started eating a homeless man’s face. Officers ended up shooting him dead after failed attempts to get him to stop.
Bath salts are dangerous substances. Anyone who ingest these substances could hallucinate and create a danger to the public.
Congress is working on a nationwide ban of the substances. Hopefully the Congress could get out of freaking gridlock in order to do something for a change!

Tweens Filmed & Taunting Bus Monitor! Video Goes Viral.
Forget the saying that Bart Simpson or Stewie Griffin taught my children to act like this! It's the parents' fault for their children being so disrespectful in school or with law enforcement.
In upstate New York, a video that circulating around YouTube has the media agitators buzzing!
A woman who is a bus monitor was ridiculed and harassed by a few students! One of the students managed to take out his iPhone and publish the video on YouTube.
Courtesy of YouTube/Associated Press.
His little experience of taunting Karen Klein has the woman gaining attention. The video went viral and people are rushing to help her fulfill her dream of taking her family on a well deserved vacation.
A few donations gave her over $250,000 dollars and many are sympathizing with her.
As school officials determine who agitated the incident, a warm hearted Karen Klein wants the police to not to press charges on the students. Her kind heart shines through a bunch of heartless youth.
I would say that in regards to the news media getting involved. All the excitement has made her the hero of the month. And many are hoping this event will give a bit of clarity to those who bully the elderly.
Yeah, I am just like everyone else when it comes to getting frustrated with older Americans. We're only human! But let's give them their dues! They worked hard for us and we should at least pay them their respect.
Black Patrons Bring Attention To A North Carolina Bar's Racist Tactics!
Party Like A Rock Star! |
In Raleigh, North Carolina, a downtown hole in the wall is literally a-hole! The service is not only rude but the treatment of the patrons who happen to be Black is what gotten this establishment under fire.
Downtown Sports Bar & Grill is the establishment and a Harvard bound Black person is the one who brought this to the attention of the news agitators.
The bar has a list of rules that seem coded to prevent young Black males and some females from enjoying entertainment at this establishment. I guess when you're a Black person and you want to visit Downtown, you're going to have a "membership" before you get in. If you manage to get in, they order you to make at least a $20 purchase of alcoholic beverages or you can leave. Don't worry about those so called gang signs or those trendy hats! You're not allowed to wear them. Nevermind the preppy college kid who happens to be White wearing his North Carolina Blue, you the Black patron can't wear it. If you're caught wearing it, you're out!
Make It Rain, Homie! |
Okay, we're at the point of insanity in the age of President Barack Obama. A state that he carried in the 2008 U.S. Elections is now a grab for the Republicans. Issues such as this club and their stupid policies and discrimination to Black patrons is a reason for the unease within our country.
According to news sources and a White professor, this club is now being looked at by the news media. The news has been making the rounds on the local and national blogosphere since North Carolina Central University Professor Philip Christman posted on his blog.
Jezbel and Gawker have the dirt on this establishment.
Jonathan Wall and two other friends arrived at Downtown Sports Bar and Grill around 12:30 AM. "You need a membership to come in tonight," the bouncer told them. "I've never seen you here before." The friends were confused, since the bar is better known for its all-you-can-eat wings and massive TVs than fancy private parties — and because the people in line before them walked right in after showing their ID.
The only difference between those people and my friends and I was our race. Still, we stood at the door in bewilderment asking "What?" as he further tried to explain that we weren't going to be able to come in because of our "non-member" status. However, as he was explaining this, a police officer walked up to where he was standing to tell him something unrelated. As soon as he caught sight of the officer beside him, he said "Never mind, y'all go ahead." This was the first interesting ordeal of the night, but not the last.Once inside, Wall was accosted by an employee [who he later learned was the bar's manager] after standing near the bar by himself for a few moments. "Either buy a drink or leave right now," the man told him. Wall said he was waiting for his friend to come back from the bathroom, but man insisted he had to buy a drink right away. When Wall continued to look for his friend, the employee physically attacked him:
After he cleaned the table, it looked as if he was headed back behind the bar when he came up to me and said "Either buy a drink or leave right now." Again shocked, I replied "I'm just waiting for my friend to come back from the bathroom." He responded, "I don't care, get a drink or leave right now." I said "Okay" and began texting. He walked away from me, then went and sat with his back to the bar as he stared me down. Being non-confrontational, I looked towards the bathroom, waiting to see my friend come out so that we could leave. I also took notice of how many of the people surrounding the bar and the club area didn't have drinks in their hands. I felt as if I was singled out. The common denominator, again, was that I was the only black person around. After staring me down for about 30 seconds, he walked back over and said "Are you going to buy a drink, or are you going to leave?" I replied, "As soon as my friend comes from the bathroom." Before I cold utter another word, he grabbed my right wrist and my left arm and threw them behind my head in an effort to constrain me, although I was speaking to him a calm and non-aggressive tone and didn't once even gesture. He then used excessive force to push me through the crown and out of the club while I was still in this "headlock" of sorts, before pushing me out of the front door. As soon as he grabbed me, I let my body go limp because with the degree of force he was already using, I didn't want him to think I was trying to fight back. I accepted that he was on an ego-trip, and let him guide me through the club in this position before pushing me out. I was completely shocked and more saddened that this was happening than angry. When Wall tried to tell the bouncer what had happened, he waved him away and told him to get lost. Upset "that what I believed to have been blunt and undeniable segregation was taking place in an establishment in Raleigh, the city I was born, raised in, and love," Wall sought out a nearby police officer, who told him "this was a very unfortunate occurrence, but not an isolated instance":
She explained that this happens all the time, and that if she approached the bartender about it, he'd have witnesses that would corroborate whatever story he made up as to why he kicked me out in such an aggressive manner. She then explained that my options were limited because if she proceeded with getting statements from both of us and conducted an investigation, the end result could be worse for me: either it would get dismissed in court, or we would both be charged with what is the equivalent of "fighting" and both have a misdemeanor. She said "He probably has a few charges already, but you're young with a bright future ahead of you, and you don't want that on your record."Wall wasn't sure "whether I should trust a police officer within the network of bouncers/officers who worked the many clubs/bars of Glennwood" until the man who threw him out stepped outside of the bar and he pointed him out to the officer, who approached him:
They talked for about 3 minutes before she came back to me and said, "I knew this was going to happen. Now, I don't believe him one bit, but he says that he has three people who witnessed you throw an elbow at him before he restrained you." Shocked is an understatement. As I said earlier, I talked in a non-confrontational, clam [sic] and respectful tone, and didn't even gesture when talking. There is no way that he could have perceived me as having thrown an elbow and I didn't understand how three people would lie and say that I did. I asked the officer about video camera footage. If the club used cameras, they would show the conversation, and his aggressiveness in constraining me despite me posing no threat and remaining calm throughout the conversation and his constraining me. She said that it would require a search warrant and that there was "No telling" how the video could be edited, tampered with, or even done away with before it would be required to be handed over to the investigators.Wall was frustrated by the officer's complacency:
What troubled me about my conversation with the officer was that she seemed to assume the worst case scenario in every possible solution to my encounter. She kept talking about how much paper work would be involved, as if that were going to deter me from seeking justice. Still, it was 2am, and after speaking to both of my parents and my friends, I realized that justice couldn't be served that night. Because of the lack of witnesses, it would simply be my word versus his (and that of his three "witnesses"), which could potentially yield extremely negative consequences for me, even though I had done nothing wrong throughout the entirety of the ordeal. After Wall told his family about his night, his 21-year-old cousin called him and asked the name of the bar that had thrown him out. She gasped when he told her it was Downtown Sports Bar and Grill, because she had been barred from entering the same spot earlier that night. "The only common denominator in her and my own dealings with the bar was one single factor: race," Wall wrote. "We were both African-Americans trying to enter and enjoy a bar that seemed to only welcome those not like us."
Since legal action seemed futile, Wall used his social media skills instead, tweeting and emailing his story to everyone he could think of. There are almost 200 comments on the post Christman wrote yesterday, many written by Raleigh residents who say they've been discriminated against because of their race. For example:
The same thing happened when my boyfriend (who is black), his 2 friends, (who are black), his other 2 friends (who are Iranian), and I (I'm mixed) went there. Except that a cop was standing right next to the bouncer and heard him say that we needed a membership to get in. I had been let in numerous times before when I went with my other friends, but this time got rejected. I was livid because that line is used when bouncers don't want to let someone in. And nowhere does it say membership is required to enter into Downtown Sports Bar. I've decided to boycott it.
I have experienced being turned away by the membership tactic. (I am black). Right after I was turned away three girls (all white) came up and went right in.
omgee, same thing happened to me on saturday! my friends always try to get me to go and I finally said yes. the first 3 [one mixed , 2 white] weren't carded; however me and the fifth friend were ! was told I was using a fake & dont even know the excuse she was given. we were both black, btw .
As a white female, I visited downtown sports a year ago and witnessed the EXACT same thing. I was horrified, tried talking to the bouncer (who didn't want to hear a word from me) and was pushed back into a crowded room. I have never been back.
The same thing happened to me and my friends at Downtown Sports Bar! My two friends and I, all of us white, got in no problem. However my boyfriend and his friend, both black, were turned away for not having on collared shirts. After they were denied entry, we stood outside and witnessed 5 white males being let in that had on regular t-shirts just like my friends did!!! Absolutely disgusting, I truly hope the news will do an investigation.
WOW…I had an issue with this place too…As I walked up i watched short white guy walk up to the black bouncer and whisper something…i kind of figured something was about to happen…I was not allowed in for the dumbest reason ever…."My Shirt was to long"…the damn shirt stopped at the top of my zipper and it was a tailored button up…i offered to tuck the shirt in and they still refuse to allow me in…i stood back shocked as two white guys with baggy jeans and sneakers walk in…i pointed out 2 guys with longer button ups than i had on and i was told they were allowed in earlier that day and we have a night dress code…i was pissed…my friend was said "just tell him he cant come in because he's black. One early commenter, 21-year-old Karimah Shepherd, had a similar experience at the bar — down to the "membership" excuse, the furious manager, and the lackadaisical police response — and started a Facebook group after coming across Wall's story. Less than 24 hours later, it has almost 3,000 members. She told us that their goal is to garner media attention, and it's working: a local newspaper is planning a front page story,
WRAL is investigating the incident, and a large protest at the bar is planned for next Saturday. Shepherd said at least 50 people have emailed her about their own horrible Downtown Sports Bar and Grill experiences. "It's shocking how much support we've gained in such a short time," she said, sounding overwhelmed.
The one local outlet that's covered the story, New Raleigh, identified the man who threw Wall out as Todd Chriscoe, the bar's manager. Chriscoe, whose name comes up often in the other commenters' complaints, is no stranger to the law: his rap sheet is peppered with misdemeanors and felonies. So why don't police take the numerous allegations against him more seriously?
There are some Black patrons who took their campaign to shut the business down to Facebook. And it's gotten a whole lot of attention. We'll keep you posted on the results of this controversy here on Journal de la Reyna.
