The official U.S. population is 331.5 million.
However, the next ten years will mark a shift in the demographics. It will make the Sun Belt and Mountain West more viable going into the 2024 and 2028 U.S. presidential elections.
So the Electoral College will determine who will be our next president. It looks like Republicans will have a slim advantage going into the 2024 election.
California, New York, Illinois, Michigan, West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania will lose a seat.
Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, Oregon and Montana will see gains. Only Texas will gain two seats.
The U.S. Census also may be considered controversial given that Washed Up 45 and Wilbur Ross were trying to meddle in the count by trying to throw obstacles into the count.
The pandemic already wiped away over 600,000 lives. Gun violence has wiped away 35,000 this year. The United States is on the path to slow population growth.
The growth of cities in Colorado, Florida, Texas and North Carolina are showing a pattern. Many are leaving the snow belt states. States that repealed the mask mandates, offer lower tax rates and white majority communities are prime real estate for white nationalists.
The states that gain these seats will have control or redistricting which could make the party in charge more powerful. The Census will also allocate more money to the states that grow and take away the funds from states that saw decline.

The Intercept decided to run a hit piece about "pay for play" against the Cuyahoga County official who is the chief rival to candidate endorsed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and white leftists. They are going to realize that their candidate Nina Turner is destined for failure. The race in Ohio will get interesting.
The special election to replace Cedric Richmond is over. It appears the Democratic Party picked a candidate that vows to work with President Joe Biden and not be a gadfly.
Rep-elect Troy Carter (D-LA) defeats challenger Karen Carter Peterson in a special general election. He won the endorsement of longtime lawmaker Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) and the now White House advisor Richmond.
Carter, 57 will be sworn in by Friday. He will be the U.S. House Representative from the 2nd Congressional District. The district covers most of Metro New Orleans and parts of Baton Rouge.
The district is gerrymandered and it's the only area the Democrats have control of.
Louisiana has a jumble primary. It doesn't matter who is running, the candidates who poll the best will face off in a run-off. The candidates who ran as Republican had no chance. Claston Bernard, a Jamaican-American decathlete who lives Louisiana wanted to run as a Republican. The enabler of white nationalism came in a distant fourth place. Wow, he didn't run a great campaign.
Bernie Sanders-backed Karen Carter Peterson was defeated.
Carter's opponent Karen Carter Peterson (no relation) had tried numerous times to become the U.S. Representative of the 2nd District. She tried since the days of William Jefferson.
Peterson who championed herself as a progressive who supported Sanders' platform of Medicare for All, free tuition, taxing billionaires and the Green New Deal was defeated roundly in the run off.
Carter won with 56% of the vote.
Carter also had backing of Republicans. The Biden Republicans came out in full force to back Carter over Peterson.
Now that Carter and Rep. Julia Letlow (R-LA) are settled, there's the race to replace the late Texas lawmaker Ron Wright and the race to replace Marcia Fudge, now Housing and Urban Development Secretary.
Fudge who represented the 11th Congressional District of Ohio left her seat to join Biden. Now the former co-chair of The Bernie Sanders Campaign and president of Our Revolution, Nina Turner wants to win the seat.
I will straight up tell you that she's going to lose to Shontel Brown. First things first, Turner is relatively known in Democratic circles. She also has burned bridges with local Democrats. Second, she lost badly to Jon Husted in the race to be Secretary of State. Third, she backed Hillary Clinton in 2015 but ended up backing Bernie Sanders. She said she did not support Clinton and she allegedly supported Jill Stein, the Green Party nominee for president. Fourth, she got into it with Hilary Rosen, Jason Johnson and Roland Martin. They would have a ground zero approach to winning Democratic votes and Turner caused a rift with them. Fifth, she backed Sanders again and spread misinformation about Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Beto O'Rourke, Amy Klobuchar and Joe Biden. Sixth, she said that voting for Joe Biden is "like eating half a bowl of shit. It's still shit." Seventh, she has the backing of grifters like Susan Sarandon, Shaun King, Charlamagne tha Rapist, Cornel West and Ryan Knight. Eighth, she has the backing of the Squad. Ninth, she is a raging hypocrite.
I am going to say this again! Support Shontel Brown for Congress. She is the best choice for the district. She had an ear to the needs of residents in Cleveland, East Cleveland, Akron, Kent and Stow.
Brown understands that we have to work for the benefits of Biden not become a distraction and obstructionist like white nationalist Democratic senators Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona and Joe Manchin of West Virginia.

Elizabeth City has declared a state of emergency. The city is preparing for potential unrest after the family of Andrew Brown, Jr. got to see a portion of the police shooting.
His family is saying it was an execution.
Seven deputies have been placed on administrative leave following the shooting, two others have resigned and one deputy retired, Wooten has said. Not all the deputies who were placed on administrative leave discharged their firearms, he added, but they were all part of the warrant operation.
The family is also angered over the body camera footage only showing 20 seconds of the shooting.
Brown, 42, was fatally shot by Pasquotank County sheriff's deputies in Elizabeth City on Wednesday when they attempted to serve him with an arrest warrant, the sheriff's office said. It appears that they shot him when he was trying to flee. He was unarmed and his family said he's wasn't trying to kill police officers with his vehicle.
Brown's family calls it an execution.
Few details -- and no video -- have been released publicly about the shooting. In dispatch audio from that day, first responders can be heard saying a man had gunshot wounds to the back. A copy of his death certificate says he died as a result of a gunshot wound of the head.
On Monday afternoon, after an earlier delay, Pasquotank County Attorney Michael Cox showed Brown's family and attorneys a short clip from one deputy's body camera that family attorney Chantel Cherry-Lassiter said showed an "execution."
Cherry-Lassiter said the video was 20 seconds long and shows deputies shot at Brown as he sat in his vehicle with his hands on the steering wheel. "He wasn't reaching for anything, he wasn't touching anything, he wasn't throwing anything around," she said.
Brown then put the vehicle in reverse and backed out of the driveway, and deputies shot at him as he drove off, she said. The vehicle, riddled with bullet holes, crashed into a tree, she said.
The family's attorneys decried the lack of transparency and disrespect in only showing a short clip from a single deputy's body camera. About seven or eight deputies, each presumably equipped with a body camera, were on scene, Cherry-Lassiter said.
In a video statement posted to Facebook, Pasquotank Sheriff Tommy Wooten said: "This tragic incident was quick and over in less than 30 seconds, and body cameras are shaky and sometimes hard to decipher. They only tell part of the story."
The sheriff has said there were "many" body cameras at the scene.
Chief Deputy Daniel Fogg said it would be inappropriate to comment on the case until all the evidence is collected.
"They are trying to hide something," civil rights attorney Ben Crump said. "They don't want us to see everything."
Crump has dealt with a lot of high profile cases going back to Trayvon Martin. His most notable cases include Breonna Taylor, Tamir Rice, Michael Brown, George Floyd, Daunte Wright and Atiana Jefferson.
Bakari Sellers, a Brown family attorney, said Cox tried to prevent several of the attorneys from viewing the video in the first place.
"Mr. Cox told me, a grown Black man, that he was not fucking going to be bullied," Sellers said.
According to North Carolina law, law enforcement body camera footage can only be released to the public with a court order.
Elizabeth City declared a state of emergency Monday morning amid concerns that the video's release could lead to civil unrest. According to the city's emergency proclamation, city officials will also file a formal request with the sheriff's office for the public release of the video.
Folks are concern that civil rights attorney Ben Crump is getting too much attention. He is now involved in the latest police shooting of an unarmed person of color. Some Black leaders and the far-right enablers of color are calling him an "ambulance chaser."

Tamir Rice's mother Samaria Rice had also called out Crump for showing up at every police killing of a person of color.

Protests are happening in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Los Angeles, Nashville, Columbus, Knoxville, Spotsylvania County, Virginia and Elizabeth City. These areas are the scenes of high profile shootings.

The white nationalist lawmaker from Texas who survived a traumatic injury during his time fighting in the Afghanistan War is going blind. He suffered a major eye injury after an improvised explosive device detonated near his convoy.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) is a former Navy SEAL who was elected to Congress in 2019. He has been a controversial figure in the far-right. He was mocked by Pete Davidson on SNL. The two had a brief feud after the comedian mocked his eye injury from serving a tour in Afghanistan. It became the latest culture war issue the far-right relished on.
He opposes gun reform despite Texas having numerous mass shootings. The deadly mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton have sealed his thoughts on guns. He said that he doesn't see the firearm as the threat.
He is a far-right extremist who hides behind his military record. He exploits this while attacking Hunter Biden and Beau Biden, two family members of President Joe Biden who served in military as well. Beau (Joseph Biden III) passed away in 2015.
Crenshaw had been out on leave because his left eye is waning and it may be leading towards blindness.
Crenshaw said on Saturday he will take a month-long leave of absence from Congress after emergency surgery for a detaching retina in his other eye.
"The surgery went well, but I will be effectively blind for about a month," the Texas Republican wrote in a statement on Twitter. He said his congressional offices will remain open but apologized to constituents for being "pretty much off the grid for the next few weeks."
Crenshaw, 37, a former Navy lieutenant commander who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, said the retina in his left eye appeared to be detaching as a result of extensive damage suffered in a 2012 attack in Afghanistan's Helmand Province.
"Anyone who knows the history of my injuries knows that I don't have a 'good eye,' but half a good eye," Crenshaw said in the statement.
"This is a terrifying prognosis for someone with one eye,"
he added. "I have gotten through worse before, and I will get through this."
Crenshaw, who wears an eyepatch, made national headlines in 2018 when comedian Pete Davidson mocked his appearance on Saturday Night Live. The joke was widely criticized. But Crenshaw appeared on the show alongside Davidson a week later to accept his apology.

President Joe Biden will deliver his Joint Session of Congress on Wednesday. This is not a State of the Union but it carries itself like one. The speech will not have a large gathering due to COVID-19 but it's expected to have a message to Americans and it could be a make or break for Biden.
Republicans are going to seize on the words. They are also going to fight to keep a handful of seats from flipping to the Democrats.
Outgoing senator Rob Portman was once considered a Maverick. You know those Republicans who often go against the party when it comes to decisive votes. Portman was relatively a moderate at one time. Now he's a full blown white nationalist. He is 96% supportive of Washed Up 45.
Washed Up 45 lost his election and to this day continues to push the lie that the election was stolen.
Portman like many Republicans said the election is over and its time to move on. He was expected to face a challenger from the right. So instead of dealing with the drama of Washington, DC and feeling like he's accomplished enough, he retires.
Portman is one of the many Republicans who are stepping aside. He believes the toxic nature of many of his fellow Republicans and some Democrats had made the job more stressful. He felt the time for someone new to take on the challenges.
Enter Tim Ryan.
The former 2020 Democratic candidate for president and current U.S. Representative from the 13th Congressional District is abandoning a crucial swing district for the risk of being a sacrificial lamb.
Ryan who slammed Republicans this year for being obsessed with Dr. Seuss and Pepe Le Pew is now throwing his hat in the ring for the open seat.
Ryan, like Dayton mayor Nan Whaley is going to find it difficult to win. This state is Ohio. This state is a former bellwether. It's more whiter and more conservative than normal. The state went to Washed Up 45 in 2016 and 2020. Despite the economic turmoils, the pandemic and the opioid crisis, this state support the former president by eight points. His opponent, Joe Biden won the election but lost Ohio badly.
President Joe Biden did not make a strong pitch for the state. He better going into 2024 because the state is expected to lose a congressional district and it could damage Ohio Democrats going into the presidential election. I am guessing that Ryan is going to leave the seat and Republicans will have the power to redistrict the district to favor Republicans.
Ryan represents parts of Akron and most of Youngstown. He is a rust city Democrat who is the brown bag and blue jeans wearing lawmaker.
Progressive titan Sherrod Brown will have to share knowledge to Tim Ryan. Ryan, a moderate lawmaker from Youngstown will find a tough road ahead to win over Ohioans.
The 10-term lawmaker decided to make a bid by filing with the Federal Elections Commission.
"The success of America isn't housed in the halls of Congress. It lies in the calloused hands and the unrelenting grit of America's workers. Those who dug the deepest sent our nation souring."
Ryan, 47 is going to champion himself as the champion of the working class and he will try to distance himself from the polarizing members of Congress like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
Pelosi and Ryan have mutual disliking towards each other. He tried to unseat her multiple times.
Ryan blamed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) for the flyover losses in Midwest, South and Mountain West. He is correct. The far-left's message resonated with independents who ended up voting Republican.
Biden only managed to carry 7% of the Republican support.
Ryan does not excite the Democrats.
Washed Up 45 carried Youngstown. The city covers Mahoning and Trumbull Counties. Trumbull County went to the former president in 2016 and 2020. Mahoning County for the first time in 40 years went to the former president in 2020.
Ryan is likely the clear favorite. With former Ohio health director Dr. Amy Acton opting out a run for the seat, it clears the way for the lawmaker to make a play.
It appears that former Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel buried his crossdressing photos. He is running for a third time. He ran the first two times against Sherrod Brown. The first time, he lost badly. The third time, he stepped down from his position as Ohio Treasurer and left the race. The second time, he dropped out when allegations of sexual abuse and crossdressing came into the campaign. It went to former car dealer and former lawmaker Jim Renacci. He would lose badly to Brown. Now Mandal is back and this time he's going full white nationalist. He and a handful of Republicans like J.D. Vance, Jane Timken, Bernie Moreno and Matt Dolan are going to duke it out for the nomination.
The Republicans will eventually win this seat. It's trending more likely Republican.
Ryan better work hard to win over Dayton, Youngstown and Athens. These communities will be crucial for the governor's race. If the Democrat does win the governor's race, then it's likely they'll win the Senate.
Gov. Mike DeWine looks likely to win reelection given the way Ohio is.
Had Acton or a person of color who is not Nina Turner ran, it would be slightly competitive.
Democratic mayor Nan Whaley runs for governor of Ohio. The Dayton mayor got a rough road to win over Ohioans.

Outgoing mayor of Dayton, Ohio has now decided to make a sacrifice play for the governor's mansion. Nan Whaley had announced this month she is running for governor of Ohio and she will be the first of many Democrats who could be a sacrificial goat.
I say this as a warning to Democrats that Ohio is not the bellwether it used to be. It used to be that Florida, Ohio and Iowa carries the Republican presidential nominee to the White House. It didn't happen in 2020.
Washed Up 45 lost to the Democratic nominee despite carrying Florida, Ohio and Iowa.
Democrats only managed to hold on to the four congressional districts they've held since redistricting.
No Democratic nominee competing for a Republican seat won in 2020. The only Democrat to win a seat in a competitive race was Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) in 2018.
Whaley doesn't bring fire to Ohio Democrats and that is a major problem if she becomes the nominee.
During her two terms Whaley had to deal with blight, population decrease, the losses of major companies in the community, two mass shootings and one destructive tornado.
Whaley got national recognition during the mass shooting in August 2019. When a white terrorist launched a massacre in the Oregon District, Whaley became a factor. She and Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met with Washed Up 45 and Melania Trump at the tarmac and urged him to visit the shooting site.
Washed Up 45 had other plans. Instead of heading to the Oregon District he went to the Miami Valley Hospital to hold a photo-op with doctors and patients supportive of him. Before he even came to Dayton, he flubbed the name of the city. He had said "God bless the people of El Paso and Toledo, Ohio. The city of Toledo and Dayton immediately slammed Washed Up 45 for the flub.
Washed Up 45 called Whaley a "screwball" who pandered in the middle of a tragedy.
Whaley is also known for fighting against Ohio's laws requiring the banning of traffic cameras at intersections on local roads. The state had passed legislation calling for an immediate end to traffic camera. The state said the cameras were placed in areas that made millions off the backs of Black people. Now they are only at school and construction zones.
She cited the traffic data and the decreases of infractions by motorists as a factor. She is currently fighting this in the state courts.
Mike DeWine and Nan Whaley have a longtime friendship. That friendship will be a rivalry now that Whaley is running to replacement him.
Whaley announced in January she wasn't seeking a third term as mayor of Dayton. It threw rumors of her running for House of Representatives or the Senate. She decided to run for governor.
Whaley launched her campaign this month. She wants to make corruption one of her top platforms. She also wants to take on the opioid epidemic that's ravaged the state. She also wants to say that Republican leadership has led to the state's declining population, more rust belt cities and partisan gridlock in Columbus.
She argues in her announcement video that it is the toughness of her city that makes her the best candidate to run.
On CNN, Whaley said she vows to reached out to Ohio's middle class.
"I believe in my bones that the people of Ohio deserve better. They need someone like a mayor that knows that they're working longer hours and getting paid less and not being able to provide for their families," Whaley said. "And really, here in Ohio, for the past three decades, we've had the same corrupt politicians in Columbus who care more about extreme interests and lining their personal and political pockets rather than folks who are trying ot provide for their families."
She was making a reference to former Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder. He is currently facing a federal sandwich in regards to him getting kickbacks in a bribery scandal involving a defunct nuclear power company. He and a dozen Republican allies pocketed millions and squeezed a bill through the Ohio statehouse to benefit their interests.
Whaley set her self up for a counter attack. The city of Dayton had its own corruption scandal. The former city commissioner Joey Williams, former state representative Clayton Luckie and two city workers were involved in a bribery scandal only a few years back. It happened under her watch.
Republicans are going to use that to counter the narrative and throw the "both sides" are guilty claim.
I am just going out on a limb this is going to be a bloodbath for Democrats. Given that Washed Up 45 did massively well in Ohio despite the pandemic and economic turmoil, Democrats need an exciting face.
Whaley is going against Ohio governor Mike DeWine. He is one of the few Republicans who is willing to work with President Joe Biden and that could be the problem Democrats face.
DeWine is loved and loathed by Ohioans. He has high job approval. His handling of the coronavirus pandemic was highly approved. His actions are still favorable with Republicans. Democrats who live in rust belt cities like Dayton approve of his actions. I still despise him for the failure to release the camera footage of the Beavercreek Police shooting of John Crawford III.
DeWine purposely held back footage of that dirty cop shooting Crawford inside Walmart. He knew that video would indict that cop and cause unrest in Dayton. The dirty cop didn't even give a moment before he shot Crawford. John was on the phone talking to his children's mother holding an Airsoft BB gun when a white male Karen called the law claiming he was waving a firearm around pointing it at people. The shooting killed Crawford. A nearby shopper named Angie Williams died of a heart attack in front of her children. The male Karen went to Florida to escape the death threats and possibility of being arrested for making a prank call.
DeWine was then Attorney General of the state.
Despite all that, DeWine looks like a shoe-in to win reelection. He will likely face a challenger from the right due to tepid support of Washed Up 45. Even though, he delivered Ohio to the former president, the Ohio governor said that the election is over and it's time to work with Biden.
DeWine is kind of like Biden. A boring guy who has a love for ice cream, his Asheville Tourists, minor league baseball team and barn fires. A governor who could win over rust belt Democrats.
Dayton and Youngstown will be pivotal in the governor's race. Washed Up 45 carried Dayton in 2016 and Youngstown in the presidential 2020.
Ohio has a heavy white population. It could be a challenge for Democrats in upcoming elections and 2024's presidential election. The state is moving from swing state to Republican hold. The state has not elected a Democratic governor since 2006. Ted Strickland was the last Democrat to hold the office. He only served one term. The last Democratic nominee for president to carry Ohio was Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012, respectfully.
Hillary Clinton and Biden lost Ohio by eight points.

It appears that seven deputies with the Pasquotank County Sheriff's Department in North Carolina are in the freezer pending an investigation into the shooting of Andrew Brown, Jr.
Brown, 42, was unarmed at the time and it appears that one of the deputies shot him when he allegedly was driving away. The incident happened in Elizabeth City, a city about 40 miles south of Norfolk, Virginia.
The junk food media claims the he was being served a warrant on a "drug related charges." They claim he was in possession or had an intent to sell cocaine. He had past drug convictions.
Big fucking deal!
Drug convictions aren't gun crimes and it appears he never had a gun charge on him.
Pasquotank sheriff Tommy Wooton II had met with the family and is asking the North Carolina Bureau of Investigation and a release of the deputies' body cameras.
Calls for the sheriff to resign.
"I've asked the [North Carolina] State Bureau of Investigation to confirm for me that the releasing of the video will not undermine their investigation," said Wooten. "Once I get that confirmation, our county will file a motion in court, hopefully Monday, to have the footage released."
In the Facebook video, Pasquotank County Chief Deputy Daniel Fogg said their office has called on the North Carolina Sheriffs' Association to appoint an outside sheriff's office to conduct an investigation of all individuals who were involved in the incident.
At a media event Saturday afternoon at Mt. Lebanon AME Zion Church in Elizabeth City, the Rev. William Barber — along with Andrew Brown Jr.'s family, activists, clergy and members of the NAACP — addressed the events surrounding Brown's killing.
"A warrant is not a license to kill," said Barber as he repeatedly called for the release of the body camera footage.
Local Pasquotank County NAACP President Keith Rivers said his group is "demanding the resignation of Pasquotank Sheriff Wooten."
Rivers' statement came minutes before Wooten posted the Facebook video supporting the release of body camera footage. Wooten has not addressed the media or residents in person since the killing of Brown.
Earlier, on Saturday morning, Elizabeth City Mayor Bettie Parker made it clear she wants to see a major change in how police body camera footage is processed and released in North Carolina.
As they stood outside city hall Saturday, Elizabeth City officials emphasized they have not yet seen or had access to the footage.
Under North Carolina law, a judge must generally sign off on the release of law enforcement body camera footage. Leaders of Elizabeth City have demanded the release of the footage, and a coalition of media filed a petition in court to make it public. Governor Roy Cooper has also issued a statement calling for the swift release of the footage.
Black America is getting tired of excuses.
When Parker was asked by WUNC what change she would like to see, the mayor answered: "the law."
Parker said the City Council has submitted a requisition to the county sheriff's office for the release of the footage. If denied, she said the request would go to the state district attorney's office and finally to a court.
"This doesn't make sense. We have to wait forever to get the body cam. Twenty-four hours to 48 hours is enough. So let's change this," said Parker. "I want to see it change as quickly as possible."
Parker said the city's attorney has told city officials "that more than likely we will not get it."
At the news conference, city officials emphasized that they want to see transparency and accountability in the events around Brown's death.
Elizabeth City's police chief, Eddie Buffaloe, said city police were not involved in the warrants for Brown or the events around serving the warrants.

Earl Simmons, Sr., known as DMX had passed away at the age of 50 in early April. Now the family and his many friends are holding a celebration of life for the rapper/actor and media personality.
DMX was an iconic figure in hip-hop. He was part of the collective Ruff Ryders.
DMX, The Lox, Eve, Drag-On, Cassidy and Swizz Beatz held it down in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
The rapper leaves behind 15 (allegedly 19) children.
Sunday marks the second service for the late rapper and this one, at an NYC church, is restricted to those who knew X best. A larger event went down Saturday at Barclays Center in Brooklyn which featured a choir, X's kids all taking the stage and words from his closest friends and family.
DMX came into the 1990s like a beast. He was a hardcore rapper who debuted his album, "It's Dark and Hell is Hot" on Ruff Ryders and Def Jam Recordings. It was the album that brought fans to grimy rapping of Dark Man X.
DMX came through around the time when the hip-hop legends Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur died. X left a major impact on a lot of hip-hop heads. He was one of the best.
Even though he went through struggles, he was loved by family, friends and his many fans.
Nas, Jadakiss, Eve, Swizz Beatz, Dee Joaquin and many others spoke at his funeral.
