Teletrumper!

Donald Trump used to mock President Barack Obama for using a teleprompter. Now struggling in the polls, guess Trump decided to use one to deliver an economic speech.

Already facing a mountain of criticism, the Trump campaign decided to "reset" the campaign.

Donald Trump delivers his economic speech in Detroit and guess what he used!

The teleprompter. That device that conservatives were complaining about when President Barack Obama was using it during his prepared speeches. To this day, they still complain about the president using them. Last month, The Drudge Report splashed on its website the president stuttering during his concerns about Trump.

They were saying without the teleprompter, Obama would be a hot mess.

Anyway, Trump gives out his "low energy" speech on how to improve the economy by offering the same Republican talking points. He also took aim at Hillary Clinton for being a part of "yesterday".

Trump decided to make Detroit the fault of Obama and Clinton. He also pointed out his proposals should be able to bring people into the workforce and out of food stamps.

Now Trump's proposals include a lowering of tax rate from 39.6 percent to 25 percent and creating two other rates of 10 percent and 10 percent. Pretty much trickle down economics.

He will used the Paul Ryan's austerity budget as kickstart.

Trump had endorsed Ryan for his bitter primary fight.

His speech was interrupted by protesters. Trump didn't get too angry at them. He stuck to the script.

Clinton hits him back. She first points out the Trump economic team is mostly old White men. She also said that the Trump plan is the same recycled garbage that perennial loser Mitt Romney tried to sell to the public.

Peaches And Cream!

Hillary Clinton is catching fire in states Republicans normally hold.

Democrats are hoping that Hillary Clinton could hold down. There are two states that are swinging in the wind and it's not Ohio and Florida. These two southern states are sunny for the Democratic nominee.

The states of Georgia and Arizona are in play. The two states seen a population boom of African American and Hispanic Americans. The young voters could impact the state's turnout.

Georgia is a state that hasn't went to a Democrat since her husband 42 carried it in 1992. It has her leading barely by 3 - 5 points on average.

Arizona on the other hand is still looking like a Republican win. Clinton is down by three in most polls. It's significant means that the state is in play.

These polls could impact how massive the damage Trump's done to the Republicans.

Clinton's chances of winning the U.S. presidential election went up to 69%. Her opponent Donald Trump, the nominee for the Republicans made numerous errors since the convention and now his campaign is doing damage control.

His surrogates are trying to blame the media for Trump's slide in the polls.

This has been the most solid lead Clinton held onto.

The candidates will head to Detroit to lay out their economic plans.

Michigan Deputies Killed After Inmate Stole Gun!

The FBI is investigating a fatal shooting of two bailiffs at a courthouse.

As Black Lives Matter protests continue, we have a tragedy in St. Joseph, Michigan. There was a shooting at the Berrien County Courthouse.

Sheriff Paul Bailey, Governor Rick Snyder and President Barack Obama were notified about this incident. The incident happened when the terrorist, Larry Gordon got the drop on them.

He managed to grab their firearm and a fight ensued.

The terrorist managed to shoot the bailiffs. He shot them at point blank range. He also injured another deputy and an innocent victim waiting in the lobby.

The terrorist was going to take hostages. After a few moments of negotiation, other bailiffs got the drop on the terrorist. The bailiffs shot the terrorist as he tried to flee the courtroom.

He killed Joseph Zangaro and Ronald Kienzle, both retired officers and court appoint county deputies. Deputy James Atterberry was injured in the arm. He was treated and released.

The Michigan Department of Safety, the ATF and FBI are investigating the incident.

There were no warning signs from this terrorist.

Also it's reported that President Barack Obama and George W. Bush will attend a memorial for the slain Dallas Police and Dallas Area Rapid Transit officers killed by a terrorist. The terrorist lived with his mother. The FBI is probing the family. They believe that the family didn't tell the law.

White suspect kills two Michigan deputy bailiffs. Who's gonna get the blame for this?

Of course, the stakes are high. Those in law enforcement are on high alert of possible copycats.

This incident in Michigan will not be mentioned by the conservative agitators. You won't hear the comments about the suspect being a "thug". You won't see the conservatives troll the suspect's social media page to indicate that he was prone to violence.

Where's the outrage from Softball Hannity, old fart Limbaugh, loudmouth Bill Cunningham, Sheriff David Clarke, Kevin Jackson and all the concern trolls who want us to focus on gun violence in the Black community?
The victims.
By the way, I haven't forgotten about the shooting Chicago where two young children were seriously injured. I haven't forgotten about the shooting in Bristol, Tennessee where a terrorist murdered a newspaper delivery woman and injured two deputies. The terrorist was a Black man who was inspired by the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. There were police shootings in St. Louis County, Missouri, a police shooting Decatur, Illinois and East St. Louis, Illinois.

There were riots in St. Paul, Baton Rouge and Phoenix. The police used militarized tactical gear at the #BlackLivesMatter protests. The arrest of activist DeRay McKesson was also mentioned in the news.

So far, if I say all the names of the victims of gun violence, it be nearly impossible to correctly name the victims.

So I don't want to hear the concern troll nonsense about how the president doesn't address gun violence in Chicago.

World News Today send our condolences to the families of Joseph Zangaro and Ronald Kienzle.

Gordie Howe Passed Away!

Legendary hockey player Gordie Howe passed away.

Late word that Detroit's Gordie Howe passed away in Toledo, Ohio. The Canadian born Howe was known as Mr. Hockey and is one of the greatest legends in the NHL. He was an icon with the Detroit Red Wings.

Born in the town of Flora, Saskatchewan, Gordie was born into the game.

The Hockey Hall of Famer had had health struggles in recent years, suffering a stroke in 2014. A statement from the Howe family said he passed away peacefully Friday morning with his family by his side.

As a six-time league MVP, Howe arguably was one of the sport's greatest players, scoring 801 goals in his 26 years in two stints in the National Hockey League.

"All hockey fans grieve the loss of the incomparable Gordie Howe," NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said.

"A remarkable athlete whose mastery of our sport was reflected by the longevity of his career and by his nickname, 'Mr. Hockey,' Gordie's commitment to winning was matched only by his commitment to his teammates, to his friends, to the Red Wings, to the city of Detroit and -- above all -- to his family."

In 1963, Howe became the NHL's all-time leading scorer, a record Wayne Gretzky later broke. Gretzky idolized the older player, wearing No. 99 as a tribute to Howe, who wore No. 9.

Gretzky called in Friday to "The Dan Patrick Show," saying Howe would be "sorely missed."

"To me, he's the greatest hockey player who ever played," said Gretzky, who is known as "The Great One."

A prolific scorer, Howe was feared and revered, famous for his flying elbows. But perhaps, biggest of all, he was an iconic name that a casual and non-hockey fan would know.

Red Wings owner Mike Ilitch said Howe "embodied on and off the ice what it meant to be both a Red Wing and a Detroiter. He was tough, skilled, and consistently earned success at the highest level. His achievements are numerous and his accomplishments immeasurable. It is truly a blessing to have had him both in our organization and our city for so many years. He will be deeply missed."

Howe signed his first professional contract at age 18 in 1946 with the Red Wings, where he spent 25 years and won Stanley Cups in 1950, 1952, 1954 and 1955. In 1971, Howe announced his retirement and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame a year later. But two years after hanging up his skates, he returned to the ice for the Houston Aeros of the World Hockey Association. Remarkably, he played with his sons Marty and Mark.

In 1980, Howe retired for the second time at age 52 after playing for the Hartford Whalers. By the time of his retirement, Howe would own league records in assists, points and games played. To this day, he holds NHL records for most games played and seasons.

But Howe still wasn't done with hockey. Seventeen years later, the 69-year-old put on his skates one more time to play for the International Hockey League's Detroit Vipers.

"Gordie's greatness travels far beyond mere statistics; it echoes in the words of veneration spoken by countless players who joined him in the Hockey Hall of Fame and considered him their hero," Bettman said.

Howe, born March 31, 1928, was one of nine children. He met his wife, Colleen, in 1949. They were married for 55 years until her death in 2009.

Howe is survived by four children -- Marty, Mark, Cathy and Murray -- and nine grandchildren. Arrangements will be announced once they are finalized, the Howe family said.

"Gordie Howe was an incredible ambassador for the game of hockey," Red Wings general manager Ken Holland said. "He was as fierce and competitive as they come but away from the rink he was truly engaging and personable and always enjoyed his interaction with the fans. ... We will miss Mr. Hockey, who was the greatest Red Wing of all time."

His funeral will be Friday and it's open to the public. It will be held in his hometown of Detroit at the Joe Lewis Arena. He will be buried in his birthplace of Flora.

They are naming the new U.S.-Canadian border bridge in Detroit and Windsor after him. The Gordie Howe International Crossing Bridge is currently being worked on. It will connect Interstate 75/96 with Ontario Highway 401 which is being extended to cross the Detroit River.

World News Today sends our condolences to the family of Gordie Howe. We will miss Mr. Hockey.

His previous co-hosts A.J. Parker and Dee Dee McGuire all sent their condolences to their friend and mentor.
Doug Banks, Dee Dee Renee and George Willborn the producer.
Doug was diagnosed with diabetes.

American Urban Radio Networks released a statement saying that the world has lost a legend. They said that Doug Banks was on a hot streak when illness took him away from this earth.

"We were all deeply saddened to hear the news of Doug’s passing.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, his wife Wendy and his daughters Kennede and Kelli. Radio has lost a true legend", said president of AURN, Jerry Lopes.

Motor City Madness!

Hillary Clinton
Clinton greets voters.

It appears that Donald Trump's hold on the Republican Party is coming undone. The Republican front runner is competitive with Ted Cruz in many of the states that he's held a strong lead for the last three months. Marco Rubio's campaign is in danger. The calls for him to drop out. Say if Rubio wanted to run for governor of Florida, he would not succeed in winning it. If Rubio loses in Florida, his legacy is forever tarnished. He would be looked upon as the "one hit wonder".

John Kasich faces another huge setback. He put a lot of time into a state and yet it didn't net him a victory.

When we hear about the race in Idaho and Hawaii, we'll determine if the Trump holds onto his lead.

CNN projects that Donald Trump secures Mississippi. The race was a blowout. Despite the last ditch effort for Cruz with the Phil Bryant, the Republican governor, the Texas senator loses this one.

Trump secures Mississippi with 49%, Cruz 30%, Kasich 11% and Rubio with 10%.
Cruz is still in this. Being in second place isn't enough. You have to be in first place to gain momentum.
The Michigan primary is determining who's going to hold strength in the Republican race.

John Kasich follow the failed nominee Mitt Romney's call to stop Trump. Kasich is neck and neck in the race. So far, Trump is leading in the votes.

There's reports that staff is bolting from Marco Rubio's campaign. The Florida senator is dismissing this report and faulting Ted Cruz for spreading misinformation.

The Huffington Post and The Drudge Report projects that Donald Trump won Michigan with a comfortable 40%. John Kasich goes in with 24%. Ted Cruz 14% and Marco Rubio 8%.

CNN projects that Michigan goes to Donald Trump. A big victory for the Republican candidate.

CNN projects Hillary Clinton has won the Mississippi primary for the Democratic nomination. The former Secretary of State had trounced Bernie Sanders in this state. The Black vote and older voters turnout heavily for Clinton. But the younger voters turned out high for Sanders. Working class White voters have went to Clinton but will it matter since the state is deeply Republican.

Clinton won with 83% of the vote with Sanders netting 17%.
Trump is more harder than the Democrats thought!
Michigan primary for the Democrats is neck and neck. Sanders is leading in the polls. Clinton put a lot of effort into this state.

The Democrats already have a competitive race on them.

There is a statistical tie between Clinton and Sanders. Sanders was ahead in the polls.

Clinton's debate performance may have failed her. And the appearance on the Fox News town hall didn't help much.

Sanders may have won his biggest state in this election. That would make Florida extremely competitive.

Republicans are now panicking. They are losing this. The vow to stop Trump. Many in the junk food media have figured that Trump would take a loss in Michigan. It didn't go that way. Trump's healthy wins in two states that Cruz and Kaisch's failed in their quest to usurp the media mogul.

Trump is now talking coy about rivals former Republican team Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI). Trump got a call from the former vice presidential nominee (now Speaker of the House) and he said that the conversation was friendly. He also said to Romney, that his plan failed to stop him. But he said that he's hoping that Romney changes his mind on him.

Trump is making note of the email scandal plaguing Clinton. Trump knocks Lying Ted and Little Marco. He said that they can say all the stuff about him, but it won't work against him. He also knocked Karl Rove and GOP donors for wasting all their money on him. He said they should have spent all that on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Trump snarks at the reporter on political correctness.

Drudge mocks Marco Rubio yet again. He took the photoshop picture of a little Marco Rubio at CPAC.

John Kasich tells the audience that his second place finish shows that he's still strong at winning the blue collar votes. He believes that his opportunity to secure a second place finish assures that Ohio will be sweeter.

Kasich is trialing Trump in Ohio by 10 points. The Ohio governor could face a pretty embarrassing defeat if Trump secures a strong victory in the primaries.

CNN still holds back the projection. They're waiting on Wayne County, McComb County and Kent County. The cities that represent the areas Detroit, Pontiac and Grand Rapids. Clinton is catching up.
Another defeat for Ohio governor John Kasich.
Sanders still holds a slim lead against Clinton. The results show that Sanders has 50% and Clinton has 48%.

Sanders does a presser. He says that this win was a victory for all the hard work. He also said that he's determined to stay in this race. Sanders knocks the critics for saying his campaign is over in Michigan.

Sanders is saying that the American public is tired of a rigged economy, a political class who spends millions to stay in power. He said that Americans (especially Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans) are tired of the unequal criminal justice that is served. He said that his campaign is a movement and a wake up call to Democrats who crowned Hillary Clinton the nominee.

Sanders also said that regardless of this, Ohio and Florida will be competitive.

Sanders sues Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted for allegedly blocking young voters who turn 18. Those young voters could have an opportunity to vote in the primaries and general election but they're still not at the age. It's going to federal court.

The Idaho primary so far is looking good for Ted Cruz. He is leading in the closing results.

CNN projects that Bernie Sanders won Michigan. He won 52% to Clinton's 47%.

Huge victory for the Vermont senator.

This makes Illinois, Ohio, Missouri and Florida even more competitive. Hillary Clinton got a long way to go!

CNN projects that Ted Cruz wins the state of Idaho.

Cruz wins the state by 52% while Trump got 32%, Rubio got 14% and Kaisch 2%.

CNN projects that Donald Trump won the Hawaiian Caucus. Trump won three states and Cruz won one. The Republicans are more enthusiastic about the elections more than the Democrats.

Lead Pipes Clogging The Debate!

The Dems have another debate in the economically struggling city of Flint.

Flint, Michigan was the place for the umpteenth debate. The Democratic candidates have an opportunity to duke it out in the country's most economic deprived cities.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are debating tonight on CNN.

Flint became one of the nation's most talked about communities. It's become a major focus for the presidential candidates. President Barack Obama has struggled to get a stubborn Republican-controlled U.S. Congress to pass infrastructure bills.

Republicans have blocked just about everything that the president wants. Especially when it comes to the potential showdown over a Supreme Court pick.

I can imagine that the death of Nancy Reagan, climate change, the Supreme Court, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Barack Obama's policies and the lack of turnout being discussed tonight.

Who Won The Debate?

Hillary Clinton
Bernie Sanders
I'm Voting Republican!
Do Quizzes

This will be the first opportunity for the candidates to go at it since Saturday's primary and caucus results.

Clinton managed to win Louisiana. Sanders won Nebraska, Kansas and Maine this weekend.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Donald Trump managed to win some states. The candidates are pressuring for the lower tier candidates to get the hell out the race. Cruz won Kansas and Maine. Trump won Louisiana and Kentucky.

Also to add to the belt, Marco Rubio, the Republican senator from Florida won the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. It  won't make much of a difference knowing that Florida and Ohio are the bigger prizes for the struggling presidential candidate.

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz both had an opportunity to do victory laps on GOP Sundays.

Also the perennial loser Mitt Romney and that old fart Rush Limbaugh had an opportunity to bitch and bemoan about Republicans and Democrats alike.

Former California governor and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsed John Kasich in Columbus, Ohio today. The actor who is a moderate Republican came out for the struggling Ohio governor. He has to win this state in order to stay in the race.

Republicans (probably with the exception of Donald Trump) have barely mentioned Flint in their debate.

Flint is an example of the failed leadership in both parties. Barack Obama isn't completely responsible for the failures of government. House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Majority Leader Mithc McConnell (R-KY) are responsible for some of the crap going on in Washington.

UprooTed!

Cruz continues to win with Maine and Kansas. But still trailing in delegates. Trump wins Louisiana and Kentucky.

While many of the agitators in the junk food media mocked the Texas senator for of all things eating a booger, Rafael Edward Cruz (known as Ted Cruz) stuck it to them.

Republican Ted Cruz will continue to push conservatives to support him. He comes off a set of victories in two states that Donald Trump led in. Maine and Kansas goes to Cruz.

Trump managed to win the night though. He won Kentucky and Louisiana. These two states had the most delegates so far.

Donald Trump decided to skip the CNUTS convention. The straw poll has Ted Cruz winning with Marco Rubio and Donald Trump trailing from behind.
Bernie Sanders isn't going anywhere.
Cruz's surprising victories has Republicans cautiously optimistic that Trump could be stopped.

But it's still a large lead for the controversial media mogul. I mean it's going to be a brokered convention.

Perennial loser Mitt Romney managed to slow Trump's momentum in Kansas. Trump was leading favorably in these states. Trump's lost to Maine was a shock. Maine's Republicans are normally libertarian. They would have supported Rand Paul if he would have stayed in. But since there's no real candidate in the race, they chose Cruz over Trump in a 3:1 margin. Paul LePage, the Republican governor bucked John Kasich by supporting Trump over him.

Cruz and Trump are planning on teaming up to finally rid themselves of rival Marco Rubio.

Rubio didn't carry any states but so far got the most endorsements. He is considering staying in the race even past Florida.

Florida is the last stand for Rubio. He has to pull out a victory in order to stay in the race.

Kasich has to win Ohio to stay in the race. One poll shows that Kasich is barely leading in Michigan against Trump.
Long way to go. The opposition is trying to end Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton's momentum.
Many in the Republican establishment are going full nuclear on Trump. Cruz may be the only candidate in the establishment left to defeat the insurgent.

Democrat Bernie Sanders defeats Hillary Clinton in the Nebraska and Kansas primaries.

Clinton managed to take Louisiana in a landslide. Clinton by far leads in the delegates.

Also her email scandal continues. The FBI given immunity to one of her former staffers who handled the server. The FBI still hasn't determined if Clinton caused a criminal act. It's still an open investigation.

The Democrats will have another damn debate on Sunday. The two will debate in Flint, Michigan.

The water crisis was barely mentioned in the Republican debate in Detroit. It's likely that Clinton and Sanders will mention the water crisis in the city.

Concern Trolls Clown On The Ghostbusters Reboot!

Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones are the Ghostbusters.

Who ya gonna call?

Iconic words of a great movie from the 1980s.

The characters Peter Venkman, Egon Spangler, Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddmore fight the supernatural in the movie Ghostbusters.

Columbia Pictures rebooted the franchise and it features Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.

Erin Gilbert (Wiig) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later, Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. When ghosts invade Manhattan, Gilbert reunites with Yates, teaming up with a nuclear engineer, Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon), and a subway worker, Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones), to save the world from a mysterious evil and powerful demon known as Rowan (Neil Casey) who can exercise control over human forms.

The trailer is out and the fans are anticipating it being a successful movie. But then there's the critics.

The critics are so brutal towards the movie. I've read some of the most offensive comments aimed at McCarthy and Wiig for ruining the franchise.

So far over 6 million people viewed the trailer and they voted it down. Over 100,000 people voted down on the trailer. It seems like the "originalists" are most brutal critics.
Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray and Dan Akaroyd are the Ghostbusters.
These people live in their basement with all their collectibles and VHS tapes. They're probably still complaining about how ABC ruined the animated series with too much exposure to Slimer and Dave Coulier playing a role that made a successful voice actor.

The Ghostbusters was an extremely popular comedy/horror film that featured three paranormal scientists investigating unusual activity in New York.

The idea was created by the late Harold Ramis and Dan Akroyd. They teamed up with Ivan Reitman to create this movie success. It featured Ramis as Egon Spangler, Akroyd as Ray Stantz and Bill Murray as Peter Venkman. Other characters included Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddmore, Annie Potts as Jeanie Melnitz, Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett and Rick Moranis as Louis Tully.

The Ghostbusters were fired out the cannon at a New York college. They decided that their investigative work would be better done independently. They decided to open up a ghost busting business. The movie was huge success it launched The Real Ghostbusters animated series, Ghostbusters II, Slimer! and the Extreme Ghostbusters.

Dan Akroyd gave his blessing to the movie and said that he, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson and semi-retired Rick Moranis might make a cameo appearance.

Quick poll!

Four Sores And Eight Months To Go!

Another debate. When will it be over?

I'll be listening to the Republican debate on radio tonight. I'm going to be working tonight and I won't have an opportunity to watch this train wreck.

The Fox Theater in Detroit will be the host of the debate. Many donors, political agitator, Republican insiders and their families will be in attendance. Governor Rick Snyder is likely going to be there.

There were only 60 tickets admitted to the debate for the actual viewers of this.

It's expected that Donald Trump will be in attendance at the Fox News debate. The feud between Trump and Megyn Kelly (aka the Outrage Princess) is going to be front and center. Matter of fact, the feuds between Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio will be on display as well. After the CNN debate, many Republicans and media analysis have concluded that the debate is doomed

Trump will certainly bring up his successful victories on Super Tuesday. Cruz will bring up the fact that from this point most of the primaries and caucuses are closed and Democrats can't crossover.

Cruz is pissed at Chris Wallace after his contentious GOP Sundays appearance. When Wallace called the candidate out on his lies, Cruz smacked back. Cruz claimed that the right wing network is in the tank for liberals and Trump.

Trump's surrogates will bring up the birther issue if Cruz starts winning states. It's already being played by White extremists like Alex Jones, Roger Stone and Jeffrey Lord. They've denounced Cruz for being a liar and desperate.

Marco Rubio has found himself friendless with the right wing network. According to sources, Roger Ailes pulled the plug on his campaign. After only winning the Minnesota Caucus on Super Tuesday, the hopes for Rubio to become the nominee have diminished. Rubio staffers called Sean Hannity, an asshole and a pussy.

I strongly agree with Rubio's staffers. Hannity is by far the most annoying conservative agitator on television and radio. He is a train wreck in a business suit. He's repetitive, ignorant and outright stupid. His show is bad. He's bad. I believe he will cost Republicans another election. He will eventually be fired out the cannon from that network.

He vows to stay in the race despite the chances being extremely challenging for him and John Kasich.

Kasich has spent a majority of time in this state and Ohio. Kaisch hopes he can win in Kansas, Michigan and Ohio. Trump is leading in most polls and it's a very difficult road for Kasich. If  he loses his own state of Ohio, he's going to bow out.

He's running out of money and out of time.

Now that Ben Carson dropped out the race, this debate will be extremely contentious.

Carson was hoping to meet with the other candidates to negotiate how the questions were going to be handled.

The candidates ignored his calls.

I am getting this feeling that Trump and Cruz are going to acknowledge these debates are worthless.

Mitt Romney decided to meddle in this. He came out against Trump today and it's likely going to be a debate question thrown at Trump. Of course, this attack might help Trump secure more voters.

I've heard that old fart Rush Limbaugh will be on GOP Sundays to analysis the debate.

Anyway, I got a poll for you. Who's going to answer the poll?

Who won this debate?
Donald Trump
Ted Cruz
Marco Rubio
John Kasich

HIV On The Rise!

Black men who are gay or bisexual face the threat of HIV infection at greater rates.

Users of heroin and Black men are driving the HIV epidemic back up to record highs.

You heard of the "down low".

Urban slang for Black men who are secretly "bisexual" or "gay". They want to give the impression that they're "straight" but are trying to repress their feelings towards men or transgender women.

Men love sex. They don't care what happens as long as they get their sexual fantasies off, the men are satisfied.

They end up having sex with men and women at numerous rates. Some are willing to spread the HIV virus in malicious ways to their partners or spouses.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports that one in 64 men and one in 227 women in the United States will be diagnosed with HIV at current rates. For black and Hispanic people, however, that risk increases dramatically.

The Daily Beast reports that the dangers are still prevalent in the Black and Hispanic communities. Regardless of sexual orientation, one in 20 black men and one in 48 black women will be diagnosed with the virus that causes AIDS in their lifetimes, according to the CDC. For Hispanic men and women, the risks are one in 48 and one in 227, respectively.

White people have the lowest chance of an HIV diagnosis, with an overall lifetime risk of less than one percent. Gay and bisexual white men still have a lifetime risk of one in 11, though.

The CDC’s projections are based on data about HIV diagnoses and death rates collected from 2009 to 2013, and they assume that rates of new diagnoses remain constant. If that’s the case, one in six men who have sex with other men will be diagnosed with HIV in their lifetimes.

“These estimates are a sobering reminder that gay and bisexual men face an unacceptably high risk for HIV—and of the urgent need for action,” said Dr. Eugene McCray, director of the CDC’s Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention. “If we work to ensure that every American has access to the prevention tools we know work, we can avoid the outcomes projected in this study.”

For Hispanic people living in the United States, the CDC has already outlined an array of factors behind the alarming rate of new infections: a high prevalence of HIV, poverty and lack of health insurance coverage, “machismo” that can encourage men to engage in risky sexual behavior as a show of strength, and reluctance to access prevention services for fear of revealing one’s immigration status.

For black people, CDC resources show, prevention challenges are similar: poverty, stigma, barriers to health care access, and too few people knowing their status. Risk in black communities is especially high, the CDC notes, because “African Americans tend to have sex with partners of the same race/ethnicity mean[ing] that [they] face a greater risk of HIV infection with each new sexual encounter.”

According to the CDC’s new projections, all of the states with the highest lifetime risk for HIV are in the South, with the exceptions of New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and the District of Columbia. All of these states and the South tend to have large black and Hispanic populations, higher rates of poverty, and less health-insurance coverage.

The CDC estimates that HIV risk is highest in Maryland, Georgia, Louisiana, and Florida, with about 2 percent of these states’ populations believed to test HIV positive eventually.

No single area may be worst-hit than Washington, D.C., which is nearly 50 percent black and 10 percent Latino. According to the CDC’s projections, a staggering one in 13 D.C. residents will be diagnosed with HIV in their lifetimes.

But the CDC doesn’t want its projections to be interpreted as a death sentence.

“As alarming as these lifetime risk estimates are, they are not a foregone conclusion. They are a call to action,” said Dr. Jonathan Mermin, director of the CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and Tuberculosis Prevention.

If the U.S. can reduce new infections, those lifetime risk numbers will go down, too. The CDC’s current prevention approach emphasizes HIV testing, condom use, treatment for those who have already been diagnosed, and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), a daily medication that has been shown to reduce risk by more than 90 percent when used correctly.

“The prevention and care strategies we have at our disposal today provide a promising outlook for future reductions of HIV infections and disparities in the U.S.,” said Dr. Mermin, “but hundreds of thousands of people will be diagnosed in their lifetime if we don’t scale up efforts now.”

Blame Game: Kalamazoo Terrorist!

jason dalton, jason dalton kalamazoo, jason dalton shooter kalamazoo, jason dalton michigan shooting

You know what irks me most!

Ignorance.

Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz are ignorant. I am extremely disturbed by the rhetoric of those who support these candidates in the Republican race. I am expected to be bothered by the supporters who seriously believe that "gun violence" is just something that happens in Black neighborhoods and Muslim terrorist.

I am disturbed by the shooting in Kalamazoo by a 45-year old terrorist who happens to be some White guy who was the alleged "NICE GUY".

The suspect is in county lockup on capital murder. He is innocent until proven guilty. I know the name of the terrorist. It's Jason Dalton, a White guy from Kalamazoo.

The terrorist killed seven people before he was taken into custody without a single shot fired.

What makes me mad is the fact that the San Bernardino shooters were "terrorists" and the Kalamazoo shooter is "_________".

In the last post, I seen who actually deserves the "blame" for the shooting.

A conservative troll would place the fault of this terrorist on Barack Obama.

I am not too worried about the concern troll. I am more concerned that these mass shootings will keep happening and Congress will not do anything to stop them.

The inept actions of Congress will continue to allow mentally disturbed or rational minded terrorists obtain firearms and disturb the lives of innocent Americans.

The person who deserves most of the blame is the shooter. But if things could happen today, I would damn sure hope we get elected leaders who will do something to stop gun violence.

Tragedy In Kalamazoo!

Mass shooting in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

There were three mass shootings in the United States this year alone. This one manages to catch the attention of the junk food media, the White House, and the presidential candidates.

Of course, who is responsible for the tragic overnight shooting in the city of Kalamazoo about 50 miles south of Grand Rapids?

Who takes the blame for the Kalamazoo shooting massacre?

Barack Obama
#BlackLivesMatter
NRA
Muslims
Liberals
Conservatives
The Shooter
Poll Maker

Some armed terrorist disrupts the lives of innocent Americans because of some failure in his life.

The warning signs were ignored by family or friends. The terrorist was a nice guy who was engaged in activities some thought were strange. They never expected to happen in their own city.

We hear about this stuff in other areas, but why here?

That's the usual comments from those who were either witnesses or members of this terrorist family.

I expect it to be a mass murder tragedy. And of course, I hear the same old word vomit from our politicians. The Republicans would offer prayers to the victims. They won't lift a damn finger to controlling gun violence. They'll concern troll about how it's Blacks on whatever violence. They'll concern troll about how the scourge of "radical Islam" is a bigger threat than an American who stockpiles firearms for the "end of days".

They'll say that President Barack Obama will politicize this tragedy. What should he do?

Ignore these tragedies for you guys to attack him for not being concerned about the safety of Americans.

Okay, the news breaking overnight says that a terrorist had randomly shot at people in the area.

Numerous causalities and fatalities. We can't confirm or determine the suspect or motive.
The law is searching for this type of vehicle. Witnesses say that the terrorist may be in this vehicle.
Police in Kalamazoo County are searching for a terrorist who is randomly shooting people, at least four have been killed.

Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas told 24 Hour News 8 (WOOD TV) that multiple were fatally shot at the Cracker Barrel in Texas Township and Seelye Kia dealership, located at 3820 Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo.

Matyas says the suspect is driving around randomly shooting people. Police believe the suspect is white man who is driving a blue Chevy HHR.

Police say six people were killed at the Cracker Barrel.

A woman was shot multiple times in the Meadows Townhomes in Richland Township.

As expected, President Barack Obama, Governor Rick Synder, Democratic Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters and Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI) were notified of the situation.

World News Today send our condolences to the victims of this senseless tragedy.

Water Woes Plague Flint!

The rust belt city of Flint becomes a national story. The water supply is corrupted.

Hashtag activism brought attention to the 97,000 populated city of Flint, Michigan.

Michigan's eighth largest city is in dire straits. The city is within a hour of the U.S. Canadian border. The city is within traveling distances from metropolitan areas such as Detroit, Saginaw, Warren, Ann Arbor, Lansing and Port Huron.

Interstate 69, Interstate 75, Interstate 475 and U.S. Highway 23 connects Flint to areas in the lower peninsula.

Flint suffered some of the worst since General Motors packed it up and left. Flint has been ranked among the "Most Dangerous Cities in the United States", with a per capita violent crime rate seven times higher than the national average.

The real crime continues to hurt the city. The city's water supply is contaminated and people are getting real sick off it.
That water could kill you!
A real life genocide in the city. Children and adults are catching sickness from lead poisoning, legionaries and extremely deadly bacteria found in fecal matter.

The water supply in the city is so polluted, the Michigan governor had no choice but to call upon the federal government to assist.

Sometime in 2014, the city's drinking water had a series of issues that culminated with lead contamination, creating a serious public health danger. The crisis began when the city—then under the control of emergency manager Darnell Earley—changed the source of the water supply from Lake Huron to the Flint River. The corrosive river water of the Flint River caused lead from aging pipes to leach into the water supply, causing extremely elevated levels of lead. As a result, residents had severely high levels of lead in the blood and experienced a range of serious health problems.

There are four families who filed a federal class action lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in Detroit against Governor Rick Snyder and thirteen other city and state officials. Separately, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Michigan opened an investigation. In early January 2016, the city was declared to be in a state of emergency by the Governor of Michigan Rick Snyder.

Dr. Karen Weaver, the mayor of Flint with Republican governor Rick Snyder of Michigan.
Three government officials—one from the City of Flint and two from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality—resigned over the mishandling of the crisis, and Snyder issued an apology to citizens.

There are calls from social media to indict former mayor Dayne Walling and Michigan governor Rick Snyder. Activist and entertainer Michael Moore went to social media to hashtag #ArrestSnyder

And of course, the #FlintWaterCrisis is trending on social media right now.

Conservatives are having a field day with this. They want to blame liberalism and the Democratic Party for this crisis.
Water rationing and spikes in sales create a panic.
The inept Congress once again blocks progress. RT America reports that members of the U.S. House of Representatives voted 253-166 this week to overturn a controversial rule to protect America’s clean water in spite of a growing scandal in Flint, Michigan over poisonous levels of lead.

Representatives approved a resolution back by the Senate in November that blocks the Environmental Protection Agency's "waters of the United States" (WOTUS) rule.

The regulation protects streams and wetlands used in local water supplies, but failed after a deluge of lobbying from corporations including Halliburton, Shell, and Tyson foods.

President Barack Obama is expected to veto the bill to protect the rule, at the same time as he considers a request from Michigan Governor Rick Snyder to declare a state of emergency.

Frustrated residents have called for the Republican governor’s resignation after high levels of deadly lead were found in Flint’s drinking water.

The city switched its supply in April 2014 from Lake Huron to the Flint River in an effort to save $19 million.

By the way, Snyder is facing more controversy. The city of Detroit's public schools are facing a crisis as well. Some educators are doing sick outs because they're fed up with the state not contributing funds to the overcrowded and deteriorating schools.
