Before I Make The Decision.... [NSFW]

Be warned the images are graphic.

Let me ask you a question?

Why on earth would a random Black person obtain chemicals to dose on some random white person in a country where cameras are rolling every fucking where?

On top of that, why are the far right race grifters rushing to judgment when the evidence isn't confirmed?

Fuck this shit.

It totally within their right to make assumptions and accusations of people. But when the facts are presented and it denies their assumptions, they just move on to another grift.

Social media has become the scourage of America's decline.

The acid attack in Savannah, Georgia.

A woman is in stable condition after she was dosed with corrosive liquid which caused third degree burns on her face and body. The incident is generating national attention.

The victim is a white woman and the person of interest was a Black man.

The FBI and Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating this. The FBI botched up other events in recent times under Kash Patel. So I expect another epic fail.

But something tells me it smells like an op. A Bethany Storro incident.

The Savannah Police Department (SPD) is investigating an acid attack that happened near Forsyth Park Wednesday night.

According to SPD, Ashley Wasielewski was returning to her home near Forsyth Park when a man approached her and threw a corrosive liquid in her face. The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. near Whitaker Street and W. Waldburg Street.

According to the SPD, when they arrived on the scene, Wasielewski’s clothes were melted and so were her car keys. Witnesses say her screams were terrifying.

Wasielewski was transported to the Augusta Burn Center for treatment. She told police she did not know her attacker or why anyone would target her.

SPD Assistant Police Chief Robert Gavin said even though the suspect hasn’t been caught, the Savannah Police Department has a person of interest and there is no threat to the public.

“One of the things that we are doing is making sure that the residents in and around the parks and in that part of town have that police presence, see the police that are going to be on foot, horseback, motorcycles, cars,” Gavin said. “And there’s going to be a lot of visibility while we investigate this incident.”

Savannah Police Chief Lenny Gunther urges anyone with information to come forward. In a statement, Gunther said even a small detail may help them piece together what occurred.

“We’re asking anyone who was in Forsyth Park last night, especially those who were taking photos or video, to please come forward,” Gunther said. “Even a small detail may help us piece together what occurred. Our community is one of our strongest partners in keeping Savannah safe.”

Gunther added, “We understand that incidents like this can be unsettling, but we want to be clear: we are fully engaged, actively investigating, and have increased our presence in parks as a precautionary measure. Right now, we have no evidence that the public faces an ongoing threat.”

WSAV News 3’s Tyler Nicole spoke with Wasielewski’s son Westley about the attack and his mother’s condition. He said the situation is traumatizing and it will be a long road of surgeries and therapy to help his mother heal. Wasielewski will need skin grafts and she is expected to stay in the hospital for at least another week.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for Wasielewski to support in her recovery.

“Our first priority is the well-being of the victim, and our detectives are working around the clock to determine exactly what happened,” said Gunther. “While this was a disturbing incident, we want to reassure our community that we are actively investigating and have increased patrols in our parks out of an abundance of caution.”

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing and WSAV News 3 will update the story as details become available.

Savannah Mayor Van Johnson released the following statement on his Facebook page in regards to the attack:

“Folks, last night, an absolutely horrific incident occurred near Forsyth Park. At approximately 8:15 p.m., an adult woman reported that an unknown man approached her and threw a chemical substance on her, causing burns. She was treated on scene and transported to Memorial Hospital in stable condition, and out of respect for her privacy, no additional medical details will be shared.

Let me be clear: this kind of violence has no place in Savannah. Our Police Department is treating this case with the highest urgency. Detectives are actively investigating the motive and circumstances, and while this attack is deeply troubling, there is currently no information indicating a broader or ongoing threat to the public. Even so, #SPD has increased patrols across all city parks out of an abundance of caution.

Person of interest went to the police and told his story. He was cleared. The far right made his life a fucking hell.

We are asking anyone who was in Forsyth Park around 8:15 p.m., especially those taking photos or video, to come forward. Even small details can help. If you have information, please contact Savannah-Chatham CrimeStoppers or submit an anonymous tip through the Savannah Police Department mobile app.

Savannah’s parks remain safe, and we all share responsibility in keeping them that way. Please stay aware of your surroundings, report suspicious activity, travel with others when possible, and use well-lit areas at night. SPD’s enhanced patrol presence is intended to support that safety.

City leadership is working closely to ensure SPD has every resource needed, from personnel to technology, to bring resolution to this case swiftly. We will continue to keep our community informed, and we thank everyone who has already stepped forward to assist.

Below is camera image of a person of interest. Do you know him?

#Savannah, we take care of one another. And we will not tolerate acts that threaten the safety and peace of our residents. Please keep this victim in your prayers.”

Well it appears the person of interest came forward and detailed where he was.

He is no longer considered a suspect or a person of interest.

Bethany Storro was the woman who self inflicted acid burns on her face and accused a Black woman of causing the injury. It generated outrage from the far right and put a target on Black women.

She confessed to making it up because she was partially disabled and rejected by a guy.

The woman would served no jail time. She was given mental health treatment and eventually a book deal.

I want to give this the benefit of the doubt. Since the far right has now included this into their distractions from President Donald J. Trump's failures as a leader, they need a random crime and an allegation of it being committed by a Black person to drive a wedge issue into the public.

Two weeks from now, if it turns out to be a self inflicted injury and a racial hoax, I will cover it.
