We are starting to return back into our homes. Holidays are approaching and that one family member who is asymptomatic could spread the coronavirus to unvaccinated members.

The coronavirus has symptoms ranging from mild to severe. Those with weak immune systems are most at risk of death.

Cases are spiking in the United States and of course, the death count has reached another grim milestone. We are approximately 800,000 Americans are dead from the coronavirus.

At present time, 783,452. This is going to change and by Thanksgiving, we will surpass the milestone. The government has undercounted the deaths due to unverified cases. 

Also Republican governors in 20 states are not following CDC guidelines. They refuse to release the number of people who died from the coronavirus. There are three strains of the COVID-19 and the most contagious is the delta strain.

We have seen about 80% of Americans getting their first shot.

Rising prices due to demand. Republicans are seizing on it.

We have seen a spike of coronavirus in 33 states. Mississippi, Florida and Texas refuse to report their numbers.

The former head of the Food and Drug Administration warned Sunday that there’s “no question” that there will be a surge in COVID-19 cases after Thanksgiving gatherings.

Dr. Scott Gottlieb, who sits on the board of Pfizer, said he anticipates the uptick in cases already seen in more than a dozen states to continue after the Nov. 25 holiday.

“We’re going to see a post-holiday spike, there’s no question about that. People are exhausted right now, but we need to remain vigilant just for a little bit longer,” Gottlieb said on “Face the Nation.”

Gottlieb said that particularly vulnerable to rising case numbers are regions that weren’t hit as hard by the latest Delta wave.

“If you’re in the southwest right now, you’re in the Great Lakes region, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, you’re in parts of New England or western Pennsylvania or northern New York, or certain mountain states like Colorado, things don’t look good,” he said.

“You haven’t experienced the Delta wave yet, and things are going to get worse before they get better,” he said.

Gottleieb said that believes that COVID-19 will start to become less of a threat thanks to the authorization of vaccines for younger ages and the possibility of new treatments.

“I think we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel in terms of declining prevalence on the back end of this Delta wave and also with the deployment of new technology that we have,” Gottlieb said.

“We now have orally available drugs that should be available in the first quarter. We have vaccines available to children. So, we see that point in time when this is going to still be a pervasive risk, COVID, but it’s not going to be the prevalent risk it is right now where it’s- where it’s- dominates our lives.

Of course, we have inflation. Due to Americans leaving the workforce, the demand for food, supplies and electronics have went up. Gasoline prices are up because other countries distributing oil are having trouble keeping workers due to pay or the coronavirus.

Republicans are seizing on the inflation and government mandates as their key to winning back Congress. Despite their failure to take control of the pandemic when they had Washed Up 45 in charge, the Republicans still biter over their election defeat would rather let the country fall into chaos. They rather allow Americans be upset with culture wars instead of their failure to provide alternatives to President Joe Biden's Build Back Better agenda.

Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.

But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war. 

With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

We came so far only to have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

The Republicans are so devoted to destroying Biden and the country for what....to regain power.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel. It doesn't care about the funerals, the birthday parties, the weddings, the vacations, the events and your graduations. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19. 

If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!
