Another police shooting a person of color. A young Latina woman was shot and killed by a school resource officer in Long Beach, California. The cop was fired out the cannon and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and U.S. Justice Department are investigating to whether charges should be filed against the cop.

The 18-year old woman leaves behind a child and a family demanding answers to why the cop shot at a fleeing vehicle. The cop who is identified will not be mentioned for now. I will say that the incident hasn't picked up much in the junk food media because they're still focused on Gabby Petito and the nonsense going on in Washington, DC.

Yeah for real. The cop had no reason to just shoot like that. He was literally out of the way of the car when they drove off. Back in September there was a fight between Manuela "Mona" Rodriguez and 15-year old girl. The incident happened at the Long Beach Police Department school resource officer was trying to restrain them.

Apparently, Mona and another girl were trying to leave. The cop approaches the vehicle and tries to detain them. As the vehicle moves away, the cop draws his firearm and shoots at them. This happened around the Millikan High School in Long Beach.

A young mother will never see her son grow up.

Mona was critically injured. The cop shot her directly in the head. She was placed on a ventilator (life support) and later died after surgery. 

The Long Beach Board of Education announced on Wednesday that they terminated the school resource officer. He was fired out the cannon after he misled the city and school board of his past history.

He was previously hired Los Alamitos Police Department for less than four months. He also worked for the city of Sierra Madre. He was separated from the department in 2020 but Sierra Madre didn't comment on the incident.

The work history raised "red flags" but the Long Beach Police Department hired him.

The school board had released a statement on the incident.

"After our internal reviews, you clearly saw areas where the employee violated district policy and did not meet our standards and expectations," Superintendent Jill Baker said in statement. "We believe the decision to terminate this officer's employment is warranted, justified, and quite frankly, the right thing to do."

Mona's life has now become a rally call for American progressives to pass the George Floyd Policing Act. The Senate has slow walked the legislation due to Republicans and those sorry ass two Democrats from Arizona and West Virginia. They refuse to work along with the 46 fellow Dems and two independents in passing President Joe Biden's signature promise to the Floyd family.

Cop went from one place to another.

"This officer should be in jail right now," said the family attorney Luis Carrillo. 

Rafeul Chowdhury, the father of Mona's child was with his brother and her when this dirty cop fired on them. He is also suing the school board and the Long Beach Police Department. He tearfully told the junk food media, their son will know his mothergo lived to help others. Her heart, lungs, kidneys and liver will be donated to save lives.

"Now we do, and she's gone. I just got to step up now and play the mother and father role, and keep my son strong.

It never happens in your community....... Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how this gun reform is taking away your rights. I don't want to hear that protesting against police killing people of color is hate on cops in general. I don't want to hear talk about the coronavirus being a myth. I don't want hear folks say this is not white privilege. I don't want to hear folks say masks impede their freedoms. I don't want to hear the shit about guns saving lives. These incidents are a tragic part of American history.

We haven't forgotten about the many mass shootings in the United States. COVID-19 doesn't stop individuals from picking up firearms and killing others.

And I am getting fucking tired of white nationalists and their enablers of color complaining about the lack of Black fathers. The fathers are either killed by gun violence, police violence, COVID-19, heart diseases, diabetes, freak accidents and just being Black in America.

Mona's boyfriend now has to raise his son alone.
