I will admit that as a 1990s kid, I really appreciate the Clinton years. He was a two term president from 1993 until 2001. He literally survived a Republican attempt to remove him from office for having an affair with an intern. He was well liked among Blacks and Hispanics. He was considered the coolest president before we had Barack Obama in 2009.
Clinton went through the first World Trade Center attack, the U.S. Cole attack, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Olympic Park bombing, the embassy attacks in Tanzania and Kenya, the Columbine school shooting, the deaths of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G., Newt Gingrich, Bob Dole, Rush Limbaugh, Republican sweeping Congress, Fox News and conspiracy theories about his personal life, Hillary Clinton and the women who accused of him sexual abuse. Clinton went out with 56% favorability. Al Gore didn't use the strategy and lost narrowly to George W. Bush. What happened was the Supreme Court's bullshit ruling that shut down the election recount in Florida. Bush's brother Jeb decided to shut down the recount because he knew that the Democratic leaning districts would have swayed the election.
At one time, Clinton believed that Bush stole an election. Now he believes that Washed Up 45 stole the election from his wife. He literally thinks the 45th President of the United States was insane.

William Jefferson Clinton (born William Blythe III) is being treated at a California hospital for sepsis, a blood infection that could be fatal if not treated. The former president is being treated an urinary tract infection that spreaded into his bloodstream.
"He was admitted to the ICU for close monitoring and administrated IV antibiotics and fluids. He remains at the hospital for continuous monitoring."
While at the University of California Irvine, Clinton is in good spirits.

The former president had quadruple bypass heart surgery in 2004. He had two stints inserted to one artery in 2010. His hospitalization had nothing to do with COVID-19 or heart issues.
