Are we that shallow?

Do you care more about material you're never going to take with you when your ass dies?

Are we more concerned about consumerism than a fucking pandemic which killed over 750,000 Americans?

Do Americans care more about material products than their health?

I mean there's gotta to be over hundreds of families without a member. Some died because of the coronavirus. And the junk food media is more concerned about the latest "it" item not making to shelves before Christmas.

We need to live within our means especially with Americans leaving low-wage jobs en masse.

The junk food media is so fickle. We are dealing with a worker shortage in the United States. The 52 members of the U.S. Senate rejected the $15.00 minimum wage. The House Republicans, the Republicans of the Senate and two Democrats are standing in the way of getting things back to normal.

They are so focused on the culture wars that keep this fucking country divided.

The War on Christmas is back in session again. The far-right and some of the would-could of warriors of the activist left are calling for President Joe Biden and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to keep the shelves full of junk folks are panic buying.

Inflation is rising and the demands for products are increasing as well.

Empty shelves been around since 2020. But we act like Biden was president in 2020.

Folks are spending more on electronics, toys and furniture. Most of that shit is coming from China, South Korea, Japan and Vietnam. The countries are dealing with the pandemic as well and they're having trouble trying to keep supplies well stacked.

Dozens of large ships have remained stuck in a traffic jam near the Los Angeles coast for more than a month waiting to dock and unload goods including toasters, sneakers, bicycles and cars.

The issue gained widespread attention this week as the delays dragged on, threatening the timely delivery of gifts for the holidays — and leading to a longer than expected bout of inflation.

On top of the backlog at the ports, there is also a shortage of truckers preventing companies from distributing supplies across the country.

Biden's Build Back Better agenda is being slowed by Republicans and two Democratic senators.

Experts warned that cost of children’s toys is up as much as 10 percent ahead of the holiday season, and many in-demand gifts will likely be out of stock soon.

The Biden administration on Wednesday announced that the port of Los Angeles would be expanding its hours of operations to 24/7, in an attempt to address the logjam.

“With holidays coming up, you might be wondering if the gifts you plan to buy will arrive on time,” Biden said at the White House. “Today we have some good news: We’re going to help speed up the delivery of goods all across America.”
