Former U.S. senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted in a robbery in Oakland, California.

Boxer was assaulted and robbed Monday in Oakland, California, her son said.

The assault happened in the Jack London Square neighborhood, according to a tweet on Boxer’s verified Twitter account.

“The assailant pushed her in the back, stole her cell phone and jumped in a waiting car,” the tweet said. 

“She is thankful that she was not seriously injured.”

The tweet was confirmed via email by Boxer’s son, Douglas Boxer, an attorney.

Responding to multiple media inquiries, the Oakland Police Department confirmed a robbery at about 1:15 p.m. in the area, but didn’t identify the victim.

The suspect fled in a waiting vehicle, police said. The robbery is under investigation.

Boxer, 80, represented California in the U.S. Senate from 1993 until 2017. The Democrat did not seek reelection in 2016. Her successor was Kamala Harris. 

Harris' four years in the Senate proved to be successful. She became Joe Biden's running mate in the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election. They won and she became the first woman, first Black, first Asian and first woman of color to be Vice President of the United States.

Some Fox media critic name Karen Wulfsohn complains about CNN and MSNBC not covering the robbery as an attempt to link the assault to the rise in crime in America under Biden.

Fox isn't trying to hide their white nationalist bullshit. They literally slobbering over criminal activity as their lame attempt to undermine Biden. They are obsessed with the culture wars that led to the insurrection.

Fox has been promoting anti-vaccination, dismissing the insurrection and trying to scare white people with critical race theory, antifa and Black Lives Matter.

This is a personal matter and she's no longer a member of the U.S. Senate. The Oakland Police, the Alameda County Police will deal with it. 

Wulfsohn is conspiracy kook. He was promoting the false sexual assault allegations against Biden.

Those involve will be caught and face criminal charges. The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
