With the Blogger interface, it is getting harder to make blog posts. I am not kidding.

The way they rolled this interface out maybe the death knell for the once beloved media platform.

I am not going to lie, this is frustrating and I am going to make my postings shorter and quicker now.

The latest police shooting in the United States. Again, a never ending theme here on Journal de la Reyna is the “What Happened To” postings. I often do these postings in regards to the latest incident involving a person of color being either killed by gun or racially motivated violence. It's usually long but with Google fucking up Blogger to a point where its not possible, I'll do as much as I can.

Everyday, we still see these incidents of people of color being shot and killed by the police. Time after time, law enforcement seem to be never held accountable for shooting Black men and women. It's always the cop's word over the dead body.

I hope that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris work on police reform. 

Because this is getting to be ridiculous and I fear that for every Black person killed by police, the tensions will boil to a point where an extremist will seek revenge on law enforcement.

Again, I am sick and tired of the far-right saying that Black fathers are negligent towards their children. Inside their bigoted minds, Blacks are on the "Democrat Plantation."

Black fathers are often vilified by the far-right as being something their not. Whenever a cop kills a Black man, the junk food media often points to the previous encounters and criminal history of that Black man. They never talk about the cop's history nor his training hours or disciplinary violations.

Every time a cop discharges his weapon and it leads to a fatal encounter, the county prosecutor often sides with the law enforcement. For some reason, they don't have enough evidence to indict a cop despite video evidence and a clear account of what happened.

Oh, we need to do something!

A 52-year old father from Killeen, Texas is dead and his family blames the cop for his death. For what was supposed to be a mental health check led to a violent encounter where this cop shot Patrick Warren, Sr. in the chest three times.

This happened in early January. The family claims that they called for a mental health official to check on Patrick because he was having an episode. Instead, Killeen Police officer Reynaldo Contreras approached the door. 

Attorney S. Lee Merritt shared the video online of the cop ringing the doorbell and the family answering the door. In the video, the cop does enter the home and an argument ensured. In another portion of the video, we see the cop and Warren outside. 

The cop orders the man to back off and show his hands. Warren is waving his hands in a motion that the cop felt was a threat. He deploys the Taser and shocks the man.

As Warren gets up, apparently it cuts to the cop firing off his weapon. In the aftermath of the shooting, Warren's son, Patrick, Jr. shouts to the cop, "I told you, don't use a gun."

The father of three was rushed to the hospital and later died from the injuries.

An unarmed man was killed by the law.

Killeen's police chief Charles Kimble promises a swift investigation into the matter. The cop is placed in the freezer pending an investigation into whether his actions were justified.

The Texas Rangers are now handling the case.

Black Lives Matter of Central Texas has demanded that the cop be fired and Merritt wants the cop to be criminally charged with murder.

Lots of work to do, Joe and Kamala…. Lots of work! 

African Americans are going to send a message to the police.... Our message is pure and simple!

Everytime a person of color is shot and killed by the police, the far-right wants to look up the criminal history of the suspect.

With COVID-19 killing over 5,000 people a day, gun violence took a backseat. At least 105 people have been killed each day by gun violence. There have been over 15 fatal shootings involving the police and suspects. Some don’t even make the national news.

The American people are so numb to this stuff. They won’t socially distance. They won’t wear facial masks. They don’t take the dangers of the coronavirus seriously.

As with gun violence, Congress will not do anything to stop it. Republican in the House and Senate as well as a handful of Democrats will continue to block legislation that stops the ongoing gun violence pandemic. They can’t even do anything.

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence.

When Black people have mental health issue, what should cops do?

Arrive with mental health officials to aid in calming that said person.

Deploy a Taser to restrain that said individual.

Shot that said individual if he is a threat to the public.

Allow that said individual tire out so it will be an easier detainment.

The white nationalists and conservative tokens often try to justify the death of a Black man because he failed to comply. Now they're trying to say that an unarmed extremist who was shot by federal authorities deserves the same treatment like Breonna Taylor and Patrick Warren. They are saying shit about how it was unjustified while never comparing this to a Black man being shot:

• If he would of complied.... vs. She had a right to protest....
• If he would not have reached.... vs. She had no weapon and they shot her....
• If he would not have resisted.... vs. The Capitol is ours, we had right to protest....
• If he would not have done what he's done.... vs. This was tyranny....
• If he would have not done [criminal acts].... vs. She had no criminal history...

She should be ALIVE .... But he deserved to DIE!

Lee Merritt is demanding the cop be criminally charged.

WHEN COPS SEE A BLACK MAN WITH A FIREARM REGARDLESS OF IT BEING LEGAL OR ILLEGAL, THEY AUTOMATICALLY SHOOT THE BLACK MAN. EVEN AN UNARMED BLACK MAN WHO IS MENTALLY ILL, JUST REACHING FOR A WALLET OR A DOOR HANDLE COULD BE KILLED BY THE COPS. NOW A BLACK MAN FLEEING AN ARRESTING OFFICER COULD BE KILLED. WHETHER THEY'RE IN THEIR VEHICLE OR RUNNING FROM THEM. THE COPS WILL SHOOT THE BLACK MAN.

THE POLICE AND JUNK FOOD MEDIA TRY TO MAKE THE VICTIM, "THE BAD GUY" BY BRINGING UP HIS PAST HISTORY, HIS SOCIAL MEDIA OR HIS FAMILY LIFE. 

MANY WHITES (IN LARGE GROUPS) HAVE FIREARMS IN FRONT OF POLICE AND THEY NEVER GET SHOT OR KILLED. WHY AREN'T THEY AFRAID OF THEM?

WHENEVER SOMEONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THE LACK OF BLACK FATHERS, I CONTINUE TO DENOUNCE THIS BULLSHIT. I OFTEN REMIND THEM THAT THE POLICE AND WHITE VIGILANTES KILL BLACK FATHERS. THE POLICE LEAVE CHILDREN OF COLOR WITHOUT A BLACK FATHER. AND NO AMOUNT OF MONEY COULD BRING THE PEACE AND TRANQUILITY TO THE FAMILIES OF THOSE KILLED BY THE COPS OR RACISTS.

It never happens in your community.......! Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how this was a peaceful protest. I don't want hear folks say this is not white privilege. I don't want to hear folks say masks impede their freedoms. I don't want to hear the shit about guns saving lives. This is an embarrassing and disgraceful moment in American history.

We haven't forgotten about the many mass shootings in the United States. COVID-19 doesn't stop individuals from picking up firearms and killing others.
