The way they rolled this interface out maybe the death knell for the once beloved media platform.

I am not going to lie, this is frustrating and I am going to make my postings shorter and quicker now.

Actress Marion Ramey, the actress best known for the role as Officer Laverne Hooks in the film franchise, Police Academy died on Thursday in Los Angeles at the age of 73, according to her manager Roger Paul.

There was no cause of death issued.

"Marion carried with her a kindness and permeating light that instantly filled a room upon her arrival. the dimming of her light is already felt by those who knew her well, We will miss her, and always love her," the statement reads.

best known for the Police Academy movies, Marion Ramsey worked in motion pictures, television and Broadway.

She was born in Philadelphia, Marion has a career that started on stage. She co-starred on many Broadway shows like Eubiel and Grind. She also toured the nation with the musical Hello Dolly.

Marion would begin a television career with a guest role on the 1970s hit sitcom The Jeffersons. Then she was a regular on the Bill Cosby show called Cos.

She would gain the notable role as the sweet but temperamental Laverne Hooks.

She was involved in the franchise for at least four movies.

She also did voice acting as well. She was in the Hanna Barbara series The Addams Family  and had an opportunity to voice roles on many animated sitcoms.

She was deeply committed to AIDS awareness and lent her voice for charitable causes , performing in Divas Simply Singing.

She was good friends with Police Academy alumni Steve Guttenberg, Bobcat Goldthwait and Michael Winslow.

Marion leaves behind three brothers.
