It's about damn time. 

Former vice president Mike Pence finally called Vice President Kamala Harris to wish her congratulations. After months of delay and partisan bullshit, at least one member of former President Donald J. Trump's team acknowledge that Joseph R. Biden II won the U.S. presidential election.

The former vice president will be at Biden's inaugural. The former vice president was only less than 100 feet from the mob of far-right extremists. The U.S. Secret Service rushed Pence only a minute before the mob rushed up the stairs to the Senate chambers.

If it wasn't for a Black U.S. Capitol Police officer risking his life to protect the Senate, Pence would have been injured or killed.

The call came less than a week before Biden and Harris take office, and just over a week after the storming of the Capitol by Trump’s supporters.

While Trump has remained largely behind closed doors fuming since his loss, Pence has been stepping up and fulfilling many of the ceremonial duties of the presidency, including greeting greeting members of the National Guard now protecting the Capitol building Thursday evening.

The call to his successor is a continuation of the traditional show of comity between outgoing and incoming leaders that Trump, in contrast, has flouted. In 2008, then-Vice President Dick Cheney called Biden to wish him congratulations the night of his win, and invited Biden and his wife Jill to tour the vice-presidential residence on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory shortly before the 2009 inauguration.

Pence has become an unexpected defender of Biden's. The vice president resisted pressure from Trump to object to the Democrat’s election win while presiding over Congress’ certification of the Electoral Vote count last week.

FBI director Christopher Wray, DC Metro Police and the National Guard are warning that there are potential signs of violence going into the inaugural. Wray had said that there is possibilities of far-right extremist to cause havoc in the name of Trump.

All state and territorial capitals are on high alert. There are planned events where these extremists are likely going to be armed and potentially willing to engage in violent confrontations with Antifa, Black Lives Matter and the police.

It was widely reported that many of those extremists were attempting to assassinate federal elected leaders. 

Only three years ago, Kamala Harris was sworn in by Joe Biden.

I believe the extremists were targeting former Vice President Mike Pence, Vice President Kamala Harris, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NJ) and Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT).

The House Speaker said that any lawmaker who aided or instigate the insurrection will be criminally charged and possibly expelled from Congress.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Rep. Lauren Boebart (R-CO), Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH), Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) are under scrutiny.

They have been the most vocal agitators in this and if House members are involved in helping or aiding these extremists, they will be punished.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) have not confirmed nor denied they will hold Senators responsible for the insurrection. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) could lose their committee seats and be expelled if they continue to instigate baseless claims about voter fraud.

Pelosi also warned that insubordination will no longer tolerated. In the aftermath of the US Capitol chaos, the police and Pelosi agreed that there will be metal detectors for all members of Congress. She said that if any member refuses to abide by any rules imposed post chaos, they could face fines and possible expulsion from the House. When lawmakers were taking cover, Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-DE) offered facial masks to several members of the Republican Party. They refuse to wear them and now four Democratic lawmakers are testing positive for the coronavirus.

Today, President Joe Biden condemned the Republicans for not wearing facial masks during the chaos. The president literally told the Republicans to grow the fuck up.

Texas realtor and far-right agitator was a part of the mob. She used her white privilege to travel to Washington, DC by private jet. She is facing a federal sandwich.

We are covering the chaos at the U.S. Capitol where Trump supporters have breached the steps of the federal building. We got word that many of these rioters have stolen property from the offices of lawmakers. Six people were killed in the wake of this chaos. People who were police officers, military veterans, children of elite members of society, an Olympic swimmer, a state lawmaker, firefighters, entertainers and doctors were involved in the January 6, 2021 attack. There were far-right extremists within the fold.

For the first time in U.S. history, an American president was impeached twice. Former president Donald J. Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives for high crimes and misdemeanors. The Senate will conduct a trial shortly after Biden gets into office.

They will face a federal sandwiches. Those involved will face up to 20 years if convicted.

The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
