A teenager in Texas is facing serious charges after he posted on social media of him spitting into an Arizona Tea bottle and putting it back on the shelf.

Police in Odessa, Texas were dispatched to the Albertsons store after the store employee caught the teen in the gross act.

He claimed he watched security camera footage with loss prevention. They saw the teen pick up a drink and then proceed to open it up. Take a sip, spit it back in the bottle and placed it in the far back of the shelf.

The police said the teen said he tried out the drink and said it was "gross" then put it back on the shelf.

He faces a charge of tampering with a consumer product. That's a felony in the state of Texas. The teen was taken to the juvie in Ector County.

The law is taking any viral pranks that involve dangerous acts seriously. The law will arrest anyone who decides to drink or eat products without paying for them. They will charge those who tamper with food, medicine or equipment.
Arizona Tea Company is the popular brand of ice tea.
This is the latest of many numerous events where American idiots are being pressured by folks to do this. The last few of them were caught on camera. This one didn't make it to social media but it did get some attention.

Albertsons had to destroy the products. They had to sanitize the facility. The clean up will be billed to the teen. The teen could face up to three to ten in the iron college. The teen will be banned from shopping at Albertsons. He will have to take food safety and sexually transmitted disease classes. He will have to write a formal apology to the store, the community and his family. He will likely have trouble in the future looking for work. This could put a damper on his career choices.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
