Lyons Den!

Empire cuts Jussie Smollett.
Confirmed.

Fox Entertainment has renewed Empire for a sixth season as well as spin-off Star. The musical dramas survive another season for the time being. Danny Strong and Lee Daniels are the executive producers and writers of the hit dramas.

However, one star will no longer make a regular appearance.

Jussie Smollett is being sidelined. He has a renewed contract with the program but his role is reduced to a point where they might as well consider him "fired out the cannon."

Smollett played Jamal Lyon, the middle child who became openly gay in the first season. In real life, Smollett came out as openly gay.

Smollett saw his career tank after he allegedly hired men to serve him a knuckle style chili with onions. He filed a police report and made the claim that two MAGA-ites served him. He even got death threats through the mail.

Everyone had sympathy towards him. It took about a few weeks and Chicago Police made the conclusion that the entertainer made it up. The city charged him with filing a false report and threw on extra felonies to the charge.
Empire heads into its possible final season. Jussie Smollett damaged the show's brand.
After posting bail and being force to surrender his passport, he was facing a trial. Seven days later, all charges were dropped and his record was wiped clean. It riled up the racist police unions and far-white. Now they want Smollett and Cook County prosecutor Kim Foxx to be arrested yet again for "corruption."

The Cook County prosecutor would recuse herself from the situation. She allegedly told the deputy prosecutor to let it go. The white police union presidents of Chicagoland are trying to oust Foxx by pressuring the Illinois Attorney General to look into how Foxx managed to let Smollett go.

TMZ earlier reported that Smollet was going to return to Empire after having lunch meetings with show execs. It turns out that the decision was swift.

They rather keep the drama out of the drama.

Smollett is now jobless, typecast and ridiculed by the junk food media.
