Texas police killed Oshae Terry. |
While Dallas cop Amber Guyger is facing manslaughter charges for the death of Botham Jean, over in the boom burb of Arlingon, Texas, another cop is facing scrutiny for the death of a 24 year old man.
The Arlington Police released the body and dash camera footage. The death of Oshae Terry is become a national controversy. The young driver was pulled over for having an expired tag.
Footage show the windows rolling up and the cop trying to reach into the vehicle. As Terry is about to put the vehicle in gear, the cop emptied his service weapon.
The five shots instantly killed Terry. The lifeless body would crash into a tree injuring his passenger.
Terrance Harmon visibly upset at the situation says to the junk food media, why?
The two were pulled over by a female officer and her male partner. The cops claimed they smelled weed in the vehicle. They wanted to run a background check on the vehicle.
The male cop was trying to intimidate the two.
The cop here wasted his firearm and instantly killed the driver Oshae Terry. |
"We just have to do what we have to do. So that's basically it."
As one of the men rolled up the window in the car and the officer sticks his hand in to try to stop them as stepped onto the board of the SUV.
"Hey, hey, hey! Stop!" the cop yells at them.
Terry then starts the car's ignition while telling the officer, "I ain't going no where!"
The cop then says "Hey, Hey, Hey!" as he fires five rounds into the vehicle. Three of the bullets strike Terry in the chest.
The cop would soon approach the vehicle with Terry lying motionless in the driver seat and Harmon being pulled out the vehicle. The medics were dispatched and Terry was sent to the hospital. He would die of his injuries.
Fleeing from police is a death sentence. Apparently, the cop tried to reach into a moving vehicle when he shot the driver from the passenger side. |
This is where the cops will try to justify killing Oshae Terry. He had a gun. He had drugs. He had tried to flee. Again, why would a cop try to reach into a vehicle while is was moving? Pretty stupid on the cop. If the cop would have backed away and let them flee, it would be more of a liability on the part of the fleeing suspect and not the cop.
Anyway, L. Lee Merritt, the high profile attorney involved in the Botham Jean and now Oshae Terry case said that this cop was using excessive force.
The cop is an eight year veteran and hasn't been named yet. The cop is in the freezer. If the prosecutor decides to file charges, he will face manslaughter. A charge that carries 15 to LIFE in the iron college.
Is this Donald J. Trump's Amerikkka?
