I'm Not A Bot!

You're not the only one.

Robocalls are annoying phone calls that come from an automatic dialer. There are solicitors who call you in the middle of the day begging for your information or services.

A robocall is a phone call that uses a computerized autodialer to deliver a pre-recorded message, as if from a robot. Robocalls are often associated with political and telemarketing phone campaigns, but can also be used for public-service or emergency announcements.

The FCC is now cracking down on companies that advocate robocalls.

The FCC fined companies that spoof phone numbers to mislead.

The so-called "Do NOT Call Listing" isn't working. Thanks to Republicans and their "need" to repeal regulations, you see companies find loopholes around a law that supposed to relieve consumers of unwanted phone calls.

Have you ever gotten a phone call about being in debt?

Have you ever gotten a phone call about how you are entered for a cruise or vehicle?

Have you ever gotten a phone call from a person who demands you pay a debt or face jail time?

These are examples of the robocalls many Americans get when they're interrupted at home, their job or eating dinner.

Some robocalls have disturbed people after 9pm.

So here our latest poll.

Have you ever received a lot of phone calls from local numbers that turned out to be robocalls?
