Ron DeSantis Has Friends In All Places!

Still struggling to win, Ron DeSantis quits Congress to make Florida his full time mission.

Last week, Republican Ron DeSantis made the bold move of resigning from Congress to focus solely on his gubernatorial bid. Now you know that's ridiculous for you to quit in the middle of a term. Don't you have constituents in your district that need you? It's pretty clear that this may be a mistake for him to quit. He could have did a hypocritical Marco Rubio move and say I'm retiring but change your mind at the last minute when you don't get your way.

The race for Florida governor is closely watched. His opponent, Andrew Gillum is the Democratic opponent. The Tallahassee mayor's surprise primary win has motivated progressives nationwide.

Gillum is hoping to become the first African American governor in the South. He and Georgia Democratic nominee Stacey Abrams could become the first Black governors of the modern South.

DeSantis is hoping to capture the magic of his best buddy Donald J. Trump. He already is fizzling out because he denounced Trump when the imbecile claimed that Hurricane Maria didn't destroy thousands of lives in Puerto Rico. Trump hasn't been much active on DeSantis.
Bring it home. If Andrew Gillum wins Florida governor's race, they're be talk about 2020 presidential ambitions.
DeSantis won the Republican primary against Rep. Adam Putman (R-FL), a rank and file lawmaker who lead in state polls.

DeSantis had a victory lap by congratulating two of the most controversial media agitators in the nation. He thanked Sean "Softball" Hannity and Mark Levin for helping him cross the finish line.

Right after his victory he went to Fox News and told Shannon Beam that Floridians should not "monkey this thing up trying to embrace a socialist agenda." That got national attention. To make the remark about Gillum and use of monkey was considered racially offensive.

And so far it has sunk his chances. He tried to revive his campaign by going on Sean "Softball" Hannity's primetime circus. It backfired. Softball Hannity's audience is old. People tuned out the softball and watched other shows.

When asked about his plans to keep Florida in Republican control, DeSantis said that he'll get back to you on that one.

Now it seems like it's gotten even worse for DeSantis. A prominent donor said that former president Barack Obama is a "Muslim Nigger."

When the GOP slammed Obama's speech in Illinois criticizing them for being the party of "paranoia and resentment," Stephen Alembik, a donor for DeSantis said, "Fuck that Muslim Nigger!"

DeSantis denounced the ally and said it's not about race. However, his past comes back to haunt him. The former lawmaker appeared with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) at an event sponsored by white extremists like Milo Yiannopolos and Steve Bannon.

Even DeSantis' wife, former television anchor Casey Black appears to support the far right birther movement.

Current governor and Republican senate candidate Rick Scott is hoping to defeat Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL), the former astronaut and longtime lawmaker.

If you are registered to vote in Florida, support Andrew Gillum and Bill Nelson.

Andrew Gillum has 350,000 followers on Twitter. Ron DeSantis has 35,000 followers on Twitter.

That's a sign of problems for the Republicans.
