Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell discuss the Charlie Rose scandal in a painful and almost tearful commentary.
BREAKING: CHARLIE ROSE WAS FIRED OUT THE CANNON AT CBS NEWS.
Donald J. Trump was notified about the Charlie Rose scandal. This scandal sent shockwaves across the country. This is the biggest shock since Harvey Weinstein, Bill O'Reilly and Fox News were accused of sexual abuse.
The shows were discussing it.
It was the most painful for Rose's former co-hosts.
On CBS This Morning, hosts Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell addressed it.
They let Charlie Rose have it.
The Post detailed the encounters of eight women who said that Rose would give creepy back massages and talk about paying them for sexual favors.
There are 13 accusers says The Daily Mail. I can't confirm it but I will say that this doesn't look good for the veteran journalist.
The Washington Post released a bombshell story detailing how Rose groomed his female staffers. He would often try to make advances on women.
So I am going to keep it simple. The Post released the names of three of Rose's accusers who went on record to discuss how he would do things inappropriately on his eponymous PBS show.
The women alleged groping, inappropriate phone calls, walking around his home in his birthday suit and inappropriate kissing.
You can see that Gayle King was crying before jumping onto the camera.
Norah O'Donnell had to keep straight face while discussing the scandal that rocked CBS News and every news program in country.
Glenn Thrush was also placed in the freezer after Buzzfeed shared allegations of him sexually harassing women while he worked at The Politico.
Thrush now works for the New York Times and is a frequent contributor to MSNBC and Buzzfeed.
MSNBC pulled him off the afternoon commentator roster with Nicole Wallace as word got out.
Sexual Abuse Is The Second Most Dangerous Threat In The United States.
Now Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) is a dirt ass pervert.
Like I've said, this is not a partisan issue. I just want to remind you that comservative and liberal agitators should be careful that the pendulum won't swing on them.
We should roundly condemn those involved and not blame an entire group for the actions of one.
BuzzFeed release date bombshell report about lawmakers paying offs former staffers to keep allegations of sexual harassment out of the news.
Rep. John Conyers, Jr. Is one of the longest serving members of the House of Representatives. He represents Michigan's Congrssional 13th District. This district covers most of Detroit, Highland Park, Dearborn Heights and Romulus.
Conyers is one of the highest ranking members in the House.
He is a civil rights leader and vocal opponent of Donald J. Trump.
Conyers for years had cheated on his wife. He had affairs with female staffers.
Documents from the complaint obtained by BuzzFeed News include four signed affidavits, three of which are notarized, from former staff members who allege that Conyers, the ranking Democrat on the powerful House Judiciary Committee, repeatedly made sexual advances to female staff that included requests for sexual favors, contacting and transporting other women with whom they believed Conyers was having affairs, caressing their hands sexually, and rubbing their legs and backs in public. Four people involved with the case verified the documents are authentic. And the documents also reveal the secret mechanism by which Congress has kept an unknown number of sexual harassment allegations secret: A grinding, closely held process that left the alleged victim feeling, she told BuzzFeed News, that she had no option other than to stay quiet and accept a settlement offered to her. “I was basically blackballed. There was nowhere I could go,” she said in a phone interview. BuzzFeed News is withholding the woman’s name at her request, because she said she fears retribution. Last week the Washington Post reported that the office paid out $17 million for 264 settlements with federal employees over 20 years for various violations, including sexual harassment. The Conyers documents, however, give a glimpse into the inner workings of the Office of Compliance, which has for decades concealed episodes of sexual abuse by powerful political figures. The woman who settled with Conyers launched the complaint in 2014 with Congress’s Office of Compliance alleging that she was fired for refusing his sexual advances and ended up facing a daunting process that ended with a confidentiality agreement in exchange for a settlement of more than $27,000. Her settlement, however, came from Conyers’ office budget rather than the designated fund for settlements. Congress has no human resources department. Instead, congressional employees have 180 days to report a sexual harassment incident to the Office of Compliance, which then leads to a lengthy process involves counseling, mediation, and requires the signing of a confidentiality agreement before a complaint can go forward. After this, an employee can choose to take the matter to federal district court, but another avenue is available: an administrative hearing, after which a negotiation and settlement may follow.
This is a bombshell. Conyers is being trashed for this. I won't be surprised that the FBI will be looking into Conyers soon. His wife got served three and a half years and federal timeout for bribery and corruption. Conyers children also were indicted in criminal charges as well.
SEXUAL ABUSE IS THE SECOND DANGEROUS THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
CBS News pulled Charlie Rose off its morning show after eight women came forth with accusations of sexual abuse. Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell will have to carry forth without him.
Another shocker in the junk food media.
CBS News, Bloomberg TV, and PBS had placed Charlie Rose in the freezer pending investigation going on between him and eight accusers. The veteran journalist has accusations of inappropriate behavior ranging from touching the legs of one woman to making lewd calls on the phone towards victims.
There were accusations of him in his birthday suit
Three of the women went public to The Washington Post. The five went anonymous out of fear they may face retaliation
This comes as a surprise and a devastating blow to CBS News. The show is within striking distance of GMA, which pulls 2.4 million viewers.
Today pulls 3.1 million viewers.
Rose had his own show on PBS and Bloomberg TV.
Since the early 1990s, Rose would interview guest on show from both sides of the political spectrum.
PBS immediately pulled Charlie Rose's program. CBS also removed his image and namesake from its signature program. They also pulled his contributor role on 60 Minutes off the air as well.
CBS This Morning pulls in 2.2 million viewers daily.
This morning I just watched CBS This Morning with Gayle King, Norah O'Donnell and there was no mention of Rose.
Charlie Rose is seeing his whole life in journalism come apart. PBS pulled his show after The Washington Post released a bombshell report about sexual abuse.
Rose did own up to this. He publicly released a statement saying that his actions were wrong. The apology didn't budge CBS News, PBS and Bloomberg. “In my 45 years in journalism, I have prided myself on being an advocate for the careers of the women with whom I have worked,” Rose said in a statement provided to The Post. “Nevertheless, in the past few days, claims have been made about my behavior toward some former female colleagues. “It is essential that these women know I hear them and that I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior. I am greatly embarrassed. I have behaved insensitively at times, and I accept responsibility for that, though I do not believe that all of these allegations are accurate. I always felt that I was pursuing shared feelings, even though I now realize I was mistaken. “I have learned a great deal as a result of these events, and I hope others will too. All of us, including me, are coming to a newer and deeper recognition of the pain caused by conduct in the past, and have come to a profound new respect for women and their lives.”
Man this is getting wild. I mean even Charlie Rose is a pervert too.
It's just not in Hollywood, but Broadway, Washington, DC, Silicon Valley, the newsroom, the statehouse, the city hall, the church, the universities, the public/private schools, the workplace and fly over country.
Sexual Abuse Is The Second Most Dangerous Threat In The United States.

The woman who accused Republican candidate Roy Moore of sexual abuse when she was 14 year old came forth to tell he story.
View it here.
Moore has nine accusers who said that he been trying to lean on them.
Moore and his wife Kayla are fiercely coming out against the accusers, the Washington Post, his opponent and the Republican establishment.
Kayla Moore is 16 years younger than her husband. Obviously something happened because the age difference of his wife does back up claims.
The Republicans need that 52nd vote.
Moore who rose to infamy for his stance. He was removed from the Alabama Supreme Court twice for ethics and disrespect to the rule of law.
Moore first encounter was his refusal to have the Ten Commandments removed from the public square. A federal court order its removal and he publicly objected it's removal. The second time was the Supreme Court's ruling on gay marriage. Moore publicly ordered state judges to not issue marriage licenses.
Now the Breitbart people, Fox News and the White House hasn't publicly called for his resignation. The talking points being spread around the junk food media is, "Let the people of Alabama decide on it."
The governor Kay Ivey publicly said she will vote for Moore despite her saying she believe the accusers. She said that the 52nd vote matters to holding control of Congress and picking conservative Supreme Court justices.
This is what the Republican Party today. A party of white people, pedophiles, racists, homophobes and morons.
Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) has a second accuser. The lawmaker allegedly touched woman's butt in 2010.
The allegations continue against Sen. Al Franken (D-MN). There is a second woman who accused the lawmaker and former actor of inappropriate sexual conduct.
This time the second accuser said that Franken grabbed a woman's butt at the Minnesota Star Fair in 2010. He served as a US Senator in 2009.
Lindsay Menz cam forth to tell her story.
CNN first to report this.
"[Franken] pulled me in really close, like awkward close, and as my husband took the picture, he put his hand full-fledged on my rear," Menz said. "It was wrapped tightly around my butt cheek." "It wasn't around my waist. It wasn't around my hip or side. It was definitely on my butt," she said, recalling that the brazen act lasted three or four seconds. "I was like, oh my God, what's happening." "He reached around her and kind of pulled her into him," said her husband Jeremy Menz, who didn't see what happened behind his wife. "He pulled her in and pushed his head against her head. It was over pretty quick." "I felt gross. It'd be like being walking through the mall and some random person grabbing your butt," Lindsay Menz said. "You just feel gross. Like ew, I want to wash that off of me." "I was upset. I wasn't happy about it in the least," Jeremy Menz said. "He was already gone and I wasn't going to confront him. But yeah -- I was in shock, really."
Franken publicly came forth and apologized to Menz. "I take thousands of photos at the state fair surrounded by hundreds of people, and I certainly don't remember taking this picture," Franken said. "I feel badly that Ms. Menz came away from our interaction feeling disrespected."
The lawmaker is facing an ethics investigation into his on and off duties. The right wing is calling for his resignation. The junk food media is on it.
Donald J. Trump got on social media to attack Franken. It earned him heavy backlash. Trump is accused of inappropriate behavior. He has 17 women claiming inappropriate behavior.
Trump won't condemn Roy Moore. There are nine accusers and more are coming. The Alabama newspapers endorsed Doug Jones, the Democratic candidate.
The left is starting to ramp up concern. I expect more to come forth soon and I can bet you most aren't fixtures on Sean "Softball" Hannity's right wing carnival.
Mind you, the softball has accusations against him. Reminder, Debbie Schlussel publicly said that women were sexually harassed by him.
Also Roger Stone has allegations. So don't think the Republican trickster isn't clean. His shit stinks to high heaven.
Maybe they'll be more TICK, TOCK for Franken. But also Hannity and Stone too.
I guess they didn't publicly apologize enough to Trump.
"I love the Blacks"
"What do you have to lose?"
"Get that son of a bitch of the field. Out. He's fired. He's fired." - Donald J. Trump on the campaign trail.
Sigh, once again the inept leader is quick to condemn Blacks folks but not Roy Moore, Republicans, conservative agitators and himself.
Hopped on Twitter again to attack the father of one of the University of Los Angeles (UCLA) Bruins basketball players who were freed from China.
Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!
Shoplifting is a very big deal in China, as it should be (5-10 years in jail), but not to father LaVar. Should have gotten his son out during my next trip to China instead. China told them why they were released. Very ungrateful!
Liangelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley we're busted at a Louis Vuitton store in China trying to shoplift sunglasses. The three basketball players found themselves in detainment and it forced Trump and the state department to release them.
The Ball family have a reality show.
The three came back to the United States to do a presser thanking Trump and admitting to guilt.
The three were immediately placed on indefinite suspension and it may affect their chances at getting drafted in the NBA.
What got Trump all riled up was the comments by Lavar ball saying that Trump had no impact on his son's release. It prompt Trump to lash out again on Twitter.
He face another backlash for not calling out Republican senatorial candidate Roy Moore who is accused by nine women of sexaul abuse. He is using the Steve Bannon and Fox News talking points.
Remember the phrase, "Let the people decide" in the word vomit. It's a deflection from the rounded condemnation of Moore. The candidate on his part viciously deny the accusations.
I mean he lashes out at Sen. Al Franken (D-MN), Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), college basketball players, reality television stars and NFL players on Twitter.
So much for uniting the country. He can't "Make America Great Again."
It seems like Trump has a problem with black people. Remember Trump had said that he would make things better for blacks. For the 10 or 15% of black people who voted for this buffoon, how's that working out for you?
Tonight I'm listening to Live on Sunday Night with Bill Cunningham, an iHeartRadio host who covers summaries of The Drudge Report.
Bill Cunningham, is a controversial right-wing demagogue from Cincinnati, Ohio. He took over for Matt Drudge in 2008 to host the late Sunday programming. Cunningham is the beginning of right wing talking points for most Republicans and Donald J. Trump.
He is the godfather of right wing radio. He is similar to Sean "Softball" Hannity in the mannerisms, the repetitiveness and divisiveness.
Cunningham and old fart Rush Limbaugh been in the business longer than most. Their audience represents that. Sorry, even a young buck like me listens to a bunch of old white guys crying on America's airwaves.
Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.
I don't know about you, but I strongly oppose Trump, Republicans, conservatives, and white extremism.
And I don't see any problem with NFL players taking a knee to police brutality and racism.
Well for an exhibition game in Mexico City, a NFL player decides to take a knee to the American national anthem. He did stand up for the Mexican national anthem. Well actually he sat down for the national anthem but stood up for the Mexican anthem.
Colin Kaepernick started the movement. Many NFL players are taking a knee to police brutality. Conservatives are trying to dilute the message.
Cue the conservative outrage.
Marshawn Lynch plays for the Oakland Raiders. He is very vocal about police brutality, racism and the policies of Trump.
The Oakland Raiders were playing against the New England Patriots. Lynch decided to take his protest internationally and let it be known that he doesn't care what people think. Ever since Colin Kaepernick decided to take a need to police brutality, conservatives and white extremist took the message and vilified protesters into anti-police, anti-military, anti-veteran and anti-American activists.
Most NFL players took a pause on the knee out of respect for the veterans.
The NFL and the players union are working with the team owners to work out differences period after a handful of controversial comments from some of the team owners and Trump's remarks about firing them, the players are starting to realize that is it worth playing.
Progressives are protesting the NFL for not hiring Colin Kaepernick to play on a team. Conservatives are protesting the NFL for allowing players diss Trump, take a knee or sit down during the national anthem.
Notorious cult leader Charles Manson passed away. He was at the Bakersfield Medical Center where he had kidney failure and gastrointestinal problems.
Manson leaves behind a legacy of hatred, sex, and murder.
I won't give you the long story but I will let you know that he grew up in Cincinnati to an unwed teen mom. During his childhood, he was molested. He was bullied. He was troubled and vengeful.
During his life he was arrested many times for robbery, pimping, and murder.
During the late 1960s he ordered his followers to murder seven people.
He was caught and was given death penalty. In the mid-1970s, California ended the death penalty. So they reduced his installment to LIFE in the iron college.
During his time in the iron college, he was an artist who made pretty good paintings, wrote folk songs and attempted to marry a woman who was obsessed with him. None of this gave him a chance of freedom.
The junk food media found him intriguing. A man who wished for an all Out race war is a hero among the forgotten.
For some reason, he dies with an ounce of freedom. That hospital is the last place he spent his miserable life.
He didn't kill anyone but inspired people to. Like most people, you don't have to pull the trigger. You participated in murder, you're just as guilty.
The tongue went down her throat and she did not like that one bit.
Photos are surfacing showing conservative agitator Leeann Tweeden smacking a man on his butt.
There are also pictures of her kissing Al Franken, the comedian who left show business to become a Democratic senator from Minnesota.
Franken groped Tweeden while she was sleeping.
She released the picture and it went viral.
This cause a great deal of backlash.
Many are calling for Franken to resign. He said he will not resign. The current leader, Donald J. Trump continues on despite having 17 known accusers.
He immediately condemned Franken but refused to speak out against Roy Moore, George H.W. Bush, Tim Murphy, Fox News and his own self.
Franken on his part, immediately apologized to Tweeden. He also said he welcomes a ethics investigation. There may be other accusers.
Progressives are calling the allegations against Franken a political hit job.
Many of them are pointing to Roger Stone and his ominous tweet remarking "Franken's time in the cannon has come."
Then of course, Tweeden appears as a regular on Sean "Softball" Hannity's right wing carnival. The agitator spent more time covering Franken and Bill Clinton than Republicans accused including himself.
The softball has allegations from Debbie Schlussel, a conservative agitator who remarked on radio she was a victim.
Tweeden allegedly groped a man's butt.
There is an active boycott against Sean "Softball" Hannity. The progressive media watchdog group Media Matters for America is aggressively targeting Hannity's advertisers in attempt to hold companies accountable for endorsing entities who divide America.
You can get any lower than this sycophant for the Donald J. Trump disaster.
His support of Roy Moore is hurting him. The ratings and advertising boycott has hurt his bottom line. The softball has lashed out Media Matters and launched a website smearing its founder Angelo Cursone.
The softball is also the biggest kookspiracy nut on cable news. He is the mainstream version of Alex Jones.
Everyday on his right wing carnival is the same verbal garbage. CLINTON, OBAMA, TRUMP, JEREMIAH WRIGHT, BENGHAZI, URANIUM ONE, BILL AYERS AND THE BLEACHBIT.
His show is a Trump infomercial.
It's number one in ratings but ripe with controversy.
This smells like a set up.
Regardless, Franken is a fucking pervert for doing that.
But Sean "Softball" Hannity is a pervert too. He is a supporter of pedophilia, he has accusers and his programs are state sponsored propaganda.
Biscuit and gravy country star disses those who take a knee to the national anthem.
Country singer Neal McCoy is pissed that people are refusing to stand for the national anthem. He records a song and it's getting major backlash.
The song, Take a Knee, My Ass (I Won't Take A Knee) is a not subtle jab at former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. The NFL is facing a backlash from both sides after many players decided to take a knee after Donald J. Trump insulted Kaepernick and said the NFL team owners should fire the players out the cannon.
The junk food media made sure they know who McCoy is. He a washed up 90s country star.
The song earned praise from Trump supporters, criticism from progressives and Black Lives Matter.
As you know, we write on this blog dealing with issues facing our community, the government, and the media. We are a Black blog and discuss issues that deal with people of color.
Sometimes trolls often find our blog and decide to post offensive remarks to discourage free thought. The concern troll will often remark to why Black grievance should be focused solely on political party and not America as a whole.
Kap takes the cover. GQ Magazine gives Colin Kaepernick an opportunity to set the record straight when it comes to injustice.
Never underestimate the power of stupidity. The revisionist history of civil rights is often discussed by right wing agitators. They often assume the Republican party and conservatism was responsible for civil rights.
Far from the truth. The Republican Party was then the progressives and the Democrats were the conservatives. The Democratic Party of yesterday was fully in support of legal seperation dubbed Jim Crow laws.
The South was always known for its conservative, Bible thumping and education lacking Americans. It's hasn't changed. The parties did.
The Democrats would adopt the progressive policies of Franklin D. Roosevelt.
The New Deal called for openness to minorities, a better economy and a strong military. The Democrats were still racist. They were openly supportive of punishing Germans, Italians, Japanese immigrants fleeing war.
The Democratic Party splintered when Harry Thurman took over. Then southern Democrat Strom Thurmond vowed to take his country back by aligning himself with religious zealots and the Klan. That bore the Dixiecrats and the last bastards the Yellow Dog Democrats.
The Republican Party started to sway conservatives who the Red Scare. The days of Joe McCarthy spurred Barry Goldwater, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.
These Republicans gradually steered whites away from the Democratic Party and used coded rhetoric to win voters who believe Blacks and non-Whits were stealing from hard working Whites.
The right for civil rights was a movie. It was real life and people died.
The movement has been rewritten to make it sound like the battle was won.
He'll no. We still have a long way to go.
We had Barack Obama as the first African American to become our president.
And with eight years of his leadership, racism surged. It was sparked by whsiper campaigns by conservatives. The racial profiling and police shootings of unarmed Black people. The entertainment industry deliberately shutting out Black talent in movies, television, magazines and radio.
I can't explain all the factors but I assure you that race relations are worse.
With Donald J. Trump in office, it's opened the door to racism. People are now freely expressing their outrage towards Blacks.
They are upset when we stand up for our rights.
They are upset when we stand down when our rights matter.
The "take a knee" protest was sparked by Colin Kaepernick. He wanted to protest the systematic racism plaguing the police. He was fed up with unarmed Black people being shot by cops. He was upset that grand juries and the media often contribute to cops walking from convictions.
A heart of gold.
So he took a knee. The San Francisco 49ers get attention and Kaepernick rose to fame. Of course not all are supportive of his protest.
Cue the conservative outrage.
GQ Magazine nominated Kaepernick as the Citizen of the Year and the conservatives are livid over it.
Many say that Kaepernick supports cop killers. They say he disses the military. They say he disrespects American flag and veterans. They say he doesn't contribute to the Black community. Some are saying his adoptive parents are White.
The recipe for Trump to lash out.
In Alabama, Trump said that NFL players should be fired for not standing for the national anthem. It sparked a backlash and NFL players soon started taking a knee.
The ratings went downhill for the NFL. Many on the left believe Kaepernick is being shunned by the NFL. Many on the right believe the NFL is not controlling the situation and restoring order. They believe it's not worth the money or viewership to see players protesting.
No win for the NFL.
History is on Kaepernick's side. He sparked a movement that was never easy. He took sacrifices to achieve the allies needed to fight against injustice.
That's why Black Lives Matter. We are fighting for our lives.
Kaepernick refuses to be silenced by the noise. He said that he's got a purpose and the world will hear it.
