Flood the zone. Trump's attention has been focused on culture wars and senior citizen rants. Not on the main reason why so many voted for him.
When Americans stop going to sit in or fast food restaurants, you know there's a problem.
When a company abandons their diversity, equality and inclusion policies to curb favor for Republicans and President Donald J. Trump, the consumer who relies on a diverse, cultural and spiritual development will turn away.
When food prices, gas prices and rent goes up, folks start struggling.
What will the Republicans and Trump do?
I mean here we are!
Inflation perked up more than anticipated in January, providing further incentive for the Federal Reserve to hold the line on interest rates.
The consumer price index, a broad measure of costs in goods and services across the U.S. economy, accelerated a seasonally adjusted 0.5% for the month, putting the annual inflation rate at 3%, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Wednesday. They were higher than the respective Dow Jones estimates for 0.3% and 2.9%. The annual rate was 0.1 percentage point higher than December.
And Trump wants to name the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of America. He wants to take Gaza, West Bank, Canada, the Panama Canal and Greenland. Me thinks he better start focusing on kitchen table issues.
Better call back those government officials, cause it's gonna get ugly once it warms up.
Excluding volatile food and energy prices, the CPI rose 0.4% on the month, putting the 12-month inflation rate at 3.3%. That compared with respective estimates for 0.3% and 3.1%. The annual core rate also was up 0.1 percentage point from December.
Frito Lays, a PepsiCo Global company raised their snacks up 20%.
Markets tumbled following the news, with futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average sliding more than 400 points while bond yields scaled sharply higher.
“The ‘wait and see’ Fed is going to be waiting longer than anticipated after a red-hot January CPI inflation report,” wrote Josh Jamner, investment strategy analyst at ClearBridge Investments. “This report puts the final nail in the coffin for the rate cut cycle, which we believe is over.”
Indeed, market pricing shifted the outlook for the next rate cut to at least September, even as Fed Chair Jerome Powell said he would offer “a note of caution” about reading too much into the CPI report.
“We don’t get excited about one or two good readings and we don’t get excited about one or two bad readings,” Powell said in testimony before the House Financial Services Committee. He added that the Fed more closely adheres to the Commerce Department’s personal consumption expenditures prices gauge, which will get more clarity following Thursday’s producer price index report from the BLS.
Shelter costs continued to be a problem for inflation, rising 0.4% on the month and accounting for about 30% of the entire increase, the BLS said. Within the category, a metric in which homeowners estimate what they could get if they rented their homes increased 0.3% on the month and was up 4.6% on an annual basis.
“Shelter costs continue to be the main driver of core inflation as higher mortgage rates push more Americans into a rental market in which vacancy rates are near record lows,” said Erik Norland, chief economist at CME Group. “Traders appear to believe that today’s data make additional Fed cuts less likely than they had expected previously.”
Food prices jumped 0.4%, pushed by a 15.2% surge in egg prices related to ongoing problems with avian bird flu that have forced farmers to destroy millions of chickens. The bureau said it was the largest increase in egg prices since June 2015 and it was responsible for about two-thirds of the rise in food-at-home prices. Egg prices have soared 53% over the past year.
Nonalcoholic beverages posted a 2.2% gain over the past 12 months, while in January tomatoes fell 2% and other fresh vegetables declined 2.6%.
New vehicle prices were flat, but used cars and trucks saw a 2.2% increase and motor vehicle insurance was up 2%, pushing the annual gain to 11.8%. Energy prices climbed 1.1% as gasoline prices rose 1.8%.
The report comes a day after Powell indicated the central bank could be on hold for a while when it comes to interest rates. Powell told members of the Senate Banking Committee that he thinks the Fed doesn’t need to be in a rush to lower rates as it evaluates progress on inflation and as President Donald Trump continues plans to levy tariffs against imports.
Markets largely expect the Fed to stay on hold for an extended time and pushed the next rate cut probability out to September following the CPI report, according to CME Group data. Traders also implied about a 70% probability that the Fed will cut only once this year.
Trump, though, is still pushing for lower rates. In a post on Truth Social about half an hour before the CPI release, the president said, “Interest Rates should be lowered, something which would go hand in hand with upcoming Tariffs!!!”
The CPI release, though, could complicate further easing in monetary policy.
The jump in prices ate into worker paychecks, as the CPI increase entirely offset the 0.5% move higher in average hourly earnings, the BLS said in a separate release.
Keep on funding Israel. Keep on giving tax breaks to "job creators." Keep on talking about former president Joe Biden. Keep on bitching on social media about issues that rile up.
Trump gonna see his legacy fall again.
He is ranked 44 of 47. So that means, he is terrible regardless of his title.
Four chaotic years of two incompetent people. Donald J. Trump and JD Vance, America's "Golden Years" are not happening on Day 1. Maybe Day 1461 when he leave office peacefully.
At first I thought this was a celebrity endorsed attack on controversial media mogul Kanye West. I started to realize it was an Israeli hasbara propaganda using the likeness of Hollywood entertainers and sports athletes.
It also got my attention that this video featured Drake.
Drake, relatively quiet on his motives post Kendrick Lamar Super Bowl performance is working on a collaborative album with PartyNextDoor.
Drizzy and Ye have a somewhat testy relationship. Although it mostly surrounds Pusha T, the two have "ended" the feud.
So this video was put out in regards to Ye's rants about the Jews. He declared himself a Nazi.
The Anti-Defamation League quickly denounced Ye. It earned backlash after the ADL refused to condemn Department of Government Efficiency Secretary Elon Musk's Nazi salute.
The ADL has made antisemitism claims against pro Palestinian protesters, lawmakers and entertainers. It has gotten to a point where Wikipedia officially declared the ADL an unreliable source. The ADL is pushing for lawmakers to combat antisemitism by passing draconian laws to punish free speech.
Israel has increased its hasbara budget to sway the West.
An AI-created deepfake video of several pop culture figures sporting “Fuck Kanye” t-shirts has gone viral in protest to the rapper’s recent string of controversial social media posts.
In protest to the swastika tee and his comments against the Jewish community, a new deepfake AI video has been shared on social media with the caption “enough is enough”. The viral clip features the likeness of Mark Zuckerberg, Scarlett Johansson, Drake, David Schwimmer, Jerry Seinfeld, Ben Stiller and more sporting a white t-shirt with the Star of David in the middle of a middle finger emblem and Kanye’s name written beneath it.
Later on in the video, more stars are revealed, including Adam Sandler, Mila Kunis, Jack Black, Natalie Portman, Steven Spielberg and more, with Sandler flipping off the camera, seemingly directed at Kanye West.
At the time of writing, none of the celebrities whose likeness was used in the AI video have reacted to the viral clip.
American singer-songwriter, DJ and producer Matthew Koma took to his official Instagram account to share that he has made a t-shirt with the phrase “Fuck Ye” on the chest. “Hey I can make a shirt too – link in bio, all proceeds to the blue card holocaust survivor charity,’ read the caption of the post.
Charlie Puth also shared a message to Ye via Instagram Stories, begging him to stop promoting “incredibly dangerous” messages. Friends star David Schwimmer had also previously called on action to be taken against rapper for his hate-filled “Nazi” posts, arguing that “silence is complicity”.
In other news, Ye recently revealed that he’s a fan of Kendrick Lamar‘s recent Super Bowl Halftime Show, calling it his “favorite” since Michael Jackson‘s iconic 1993 performance.
David Schwimmer.
Those fucking hypocrites sit in silence as Israel is killing women and children.
They can fuck themselves.

A two state solution is "separate but equal" and a de facto apartheid.
Telling other countries to take Palestinians is ethnic cleansing.
A sovereignty seizing land in a violent conflict is a war crime.
The double standard in media coverage is the Israelis are hostages and the Palestinians are prisoners. Some of the Palestinians held in Israeli custody are children under the age of 14.
When Russia seized Ukrainian land and Crimea, the U.S. pushed for sanctions.
Mark Zuckerberg.
When Israel seized Lebanese and Syrian land, the U.S. recognized it as Israeli sovereignty. They have actively rejected sanctions imposed on Israel.
Hamas stated the reasons for the attack on occupation forces. It has nothing to do with the Jewish religion or Iran.
The IDF has the weapons to destroy everything. All on the American taxpayer, Israel has killed civilians, their own citizens and the status quo.
Holding these lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local community member, your school board member, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions.
Israel must be held accountable for war crimes and the U.S. must end its aid. Our taxpayer money should not help Israel any further.
Israel is the red line. If any lawmaker, entertainer, athlete or social media influncer backs the apartheid ethnostate, they face a boycott.
Regardless of political affiliation, if you are supporting Israel, you are not getting donations or a vote from me.
I will hold President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance accountable.

Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to", "illegal immigrants" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to focus on ending gun violence, lowering costs, improving healthcare and building relationships with other nations. Let them know that we are tired of police officers using immunity when committing death of suspects in custody. Let them know that you are tired of private equity firms getting away with destroying small businesses and long established companies. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-Semitic or in support of terrorism.
We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and legislators avoid influence from lobbyists.
The money going to fucking Israel could be used to hire more air traffic controllers.
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is a big government agency created by an idiot billionaire who became the 45th and 47th President of the United States. This idiot billionaire hired another idiot billionaire to run it and only three weeks into his term, the chaos.
President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Gov. Katie Hobbs, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) and the U.S. House members of Arizona were notified of the latest plane crash in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Scottsdale is a boomburb in Maricopa County. It has a population of 244,000 residents.
One person has died and four others were injured after an aircraft crash on a runway Monday afternoon at the Scottsdale Airport.
Airport officials say around 2:30 p.m., a small jet incoming from Austin, Texas, veered off the runway and crashed into a larger jet.
Officials believe the landing jet's left main gear failed upon landing, leading to the crash.
Officials had closed the runway for hours as crews worked on those involved. The Scottsdale Airport reopened the runway just before 9 p.m.
Five people were aboard the plane, one of whom died at the scene, according to Scottsdale Fire officials. Three other people were taken to a hospital to be treated for various injuries, and another person refused treatment.
One of the planes is registered to Chromed in Hollywood, LLC, based out of Franklin, Tennessee. The president of Chromed in Hollywood, LLC, is Vince Neil, according to incorporation papers from the Wyoming Secretary of State.
Vince Neil is a singer and frontman of the rock band Mötley Crüe.
In a statement released on X, formerly known as Twitter, the band shared some details about the collision.
A representative for Neil shared a statement with ABC15, confirming that the frontman was not in the plane at the time of the crash:
"At 2:39 p.m. local time, a Learjet aircraft Model 35A owned by Vince Neil was attempting to land at the Scottsdale Airport. For reasons unknown at this time, the plane veered from the runway causing it to collide with another parked plane. On board Mr. Neil’s plane were two pilots and two passengers. Mr. Neil was not on the plane. More specific details regarding the collision are not available as this is a rapidly evolving situation and there is an ongoing investigation. Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today."
Surveillance video shown to ABC15 depicted the nose of one of the planes skidding across the tarmac before colliding with another plane.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
DeWine picks former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel as his second banana.
Former Ohio State University football coach and podcaster is picked to replace Jon Husted as the lieutenant governor of Ohio.
Republican Gov. Mike DeWine selected Jim Tressel as the lieutenant governor.
Ohio state legislative members must confirm him to take this position. It will be an easy confirm.
Tressel previously served as president of Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio from 2014 to 2023. Before becoming an administrator, Tressel was the head football coach of the Youngstown State Penguins and later the Ohio State Buckeyes in a career that spanned from 1986 until 2010. Tressel's teams earned several national championships during the course of his career, earning him numerous accolades.
Tressel helped Ohio State Buckeyes wins a National Championship Game against the top rank University of Miami Hurricanes in the Fiesta Bowl.
When JD Vance left the U.S. Senate to become the 50th Vice President of the United States, DeWine selected Jon Husted to replace him. Once the pick was sworn in, DeWine decided to pick someone "who knows" Ohio.
Tressel took the Buckeyes to three National Championships. Of the three he won the 2002 against Miami. Ohio State was ranked No. 1 and lost to No. 2 University of Florida Gators who was led by future coach Urban Meyer.
Tressel's last go as No. 1 Ohio State was taking on the No. 2 Louisiana State University Tigers and lost in a late series of scoring from the Tigers.
Tressel was released after he got caught up in a scandal.
Tressel resigned in May 2011 amidst an NCAA investigation into improper benefits violations involving OSU football players during the 2010 season. The investigation resulted in OSU self-vacating victories from the 2010 season including the 2011 Sugar Bowl. Tressel finished his career at Ohio State with an official overall record of 94–22 (.810), including six Big Ten Conference championships, a 5–4 bowl record, a 4–3 mark in BCS bowl games, and an 9–1 record against the arch-rival Michigan Wolverines. Tressel's eight wins against the University of Michigan place him second in school history to Woody Hayes, who had 16, and he is tied with Urban Meyer as the only Ohio State head coaches to win seven consecutive games against the Wolverines. Tressel's success as a head coach led to his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
From September 2011 until February 2012, Tressel was a consultant for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). From 2012 to 2014 Tressel served as Vice President of Strategic Engagement for the University of Akron, before being named as Youngstown State University President on May 9, 2014.
Tommy Tuberville, a former head coach for Auburn University Tigers, the University of Cincinnati Bearcats, University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) Rebels and the Texas A&M University's Auggies was elected U.S. Senator in 2020. Tuberville is one of the most insufferable members post Vance.
All the money that goes to Israel could have been used for the Federal Aviation Administration. Republicans wanted to eliminate federal jobs.
Well here's the end game.
The junk food media has covered the two deadly plane crashes in Washington, DC and Philadelphia. The junk food media did cover the missing plane in Alaska.
But that's it.
No shocking stories.
President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Gov. Mike Dunleavy, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) and Rep. Nick Begich (R-AK) were notified about the plane being found.
Will Trump claim DEI was responsible or the lack of FAA administrators? The president listening to Elon Musk is cutting federal jobs. Some are essential to the movement of the country.
All 10 people aboard a small plane that went missing and was later discovered crashed in Alaska have been confirmed dead, officials said in a statement.
The Alaska Department of Public Safety said Saturday that all aboard the plane — nine passengers and one pilot — died. The plane had been traveling from Unalakleet to Nome (Sitŋazuaq) on Thursday when it went missing. It was found crashed on Friday.
The Alaska state troopers positively identified all 10 victims on the plane after they were recovered and brought to Nome, Alaska DPS said in a statement.
52-year-old Liane Ryan of Wasilla
58-year-old Donnell Erickson of Nome
30-year-old Andrew Gonzalez of Wasilla
41-year-old Kameron Hartvigson of Anchorage
46-year-old Rhone Baumgartner of Anchorage
52-year-old Jadee Moncur of Eagle River
45-year-old Ian Hofmann of Anchorage
34-year-old Talaluk Katchatag of Unalakleet
48-year-old Carol Mooers of Unalakleet
At a news conference earlier Saturday, National Transportation Safety Board Chair Jennifer Homendy said the first priority of recovery efforts was recovering the victims. Then, the NTSB — which was investigating the crash — and responding agencies would work on recovering the wreckage.
Three people were found dead inside the wreckage of the plane Friday, the U.S. Coast Guard said. The agency said at the time that the seven others who were on the plane were "believed to be inside the aircraft, which was inaccessible due to the condition of the plane."
"The Coast Guard determined the severity of the wreckage was beyond the possibility of survival," it said Friday.
The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium said in a statement that two of its employees, Baumgartner and Hartvigson, died in the crash. The company said the pair had traveled to Unalakleet "to service a heat recovery system that is critical to the community's water plant."
Officials have said the Bering Air Cessna Caravan took off from Unalakleet, on the east coast of Norton Sound in western Alaska, and was headed to Nome around 140 miles away.
Trump like always brushes this shit off.
The plane took off at 2:37 p.m. Thursday, Bering Air Director of Operations David Olson told NBC affiliate KTUU of Anchorage.
At around 3:18 p.m., radar analysis showed "this aircraft experienced some kind of event which caused them to experience a rapid loss in elevation and a rapid loss in speed," Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Benjamin McIntyre-Coble said at a news briefing Friday.
The wreckage was found about 34 miles southeast of Nome, the Coast Guard said. The three bodies recovered Friday were found in the forward part of the aircraft by two Coast Guard swimmers, the agency said.
The Nome Volunteer Fire Department, with assistance from the Alaska National Guard, said Friday it activated its search-and-rescue team for the recovery effort.
Nome and Unalakleet are not serviced by the state's highway system. Air and water or snowmobiles and trails are the main forms of transport between the two.
Dunleavy said Friday that he and his wife, Rose, "are heartbroken by the loss of the 10 people on the Bering Air flight" and said their "prayers are with the families, friends, and communities mourning this tragedy."
Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, thanked all those who responded and braved the elements to search for the plane, and said Friday that "my heart is broken over the news out of Nome."
"Alaska is a big small town," she said. "When tragedy strikes, we're never far removed from the Alaskans directly impacted. But that also means we come together as a community to grieve and heal."
A young Afro-Palestinian American is arrested and placed in Israeli prison on a bogus charge. The U.S. has not done a damn thing to get her out.
Israel has killed Americans. No one was held accountable.
The killing of Rachel Corrie did not move George W. Bush to cut Israel loose.
Corrie was an American nonviolence activist and diarist. She was a member of the pro-Palestinian International Solidarity Movement (ISM) and was active throughout the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories. In 2003, she was in Rafah, a city in the Gaza Strip, where the Israeli military was demolishing Palestinian houses at the height of the Second Intifada. While protesting the demolitions as they were being carried out, she was killed by an Israeli armored bulldozer that crushed her.
The deaths of Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, Tawfiq Abdel Jabbar, Mohammad Khdour, Omar Assad, Shireen Abu Akleh, Jacob Flickinger and Kamel Ahmad Jawad were never investigated by the U.S. Justice Department.
Former president Joe Biden and former vice president Kamala Harris failed. They lost the Arab American and Muslim voters because of their failure to hold Israel accountable for the killings of Americans.
Shireen Abu Akleh, was a journalist who clearly wore a press vest and still was murdered by these vile human scumbags. She was a prominent Palestinian-American journalist who worked as a reporter for 25 years for Al Jazeera, before she was killed by Israeli forces while wearing a blue press vest and covering a raid on the Jenin refugee camp in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Abu Akleh was one of the most prominent names across the Middle East for her decades of reporting in the Palestinian territories, and seen as a role model for many Arab and Palestinian women. She is considered to be an icon of Palestinian journalism.
Upon her death on May 11, 2022, Israel denied responsibility and blamed Palestinian militants. However, it gradually changed its narrative until admitting she was likely "accidentally" killed by Israeli fire, but refused to undertake a criminal investigation. The admission came after several independent investigations were conducted by international media outlets, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the United States Department of State. Forensic Architecture refuted Israel's findings on September 20 and said Abu Akleh was deliberately targeted and denied medical aid after she was shot. In November 2022, the United States Department of Justice opened a separate investigation into the killing, in a move that Israel condemned and refused to cooperate with. Her niece Lina Abu Akleh has since been demanding that the Israeli forces responsible for her death be held accountable.
Samaher Esmail was arrested at her sister's home. She is an American who was illegally arrested for incitement. Joe Biden, Donald J. Trump, Antony Blinkin and Marco Rubio refused to hold Israel accountable. Samaher is held at gunpoint inside her sister's home awaiting trial.
The manner of her death and the subsequent violent disruption of her funeral drew widespread international condemnation of Israel. During her funeral procession, the Israel Police attacked the pallbearers at the Saint Joseph's Hospital in East Jerusalem with batons and stun grenades. The hospital itself was also stormed by Israeli police officers, who assaulted patients and threw stun grenades, wounding and causing burns to medical staff in the building. The facility issued a statement from the Christian Churches of the Holy Land, stating that the Israel Police's actions constituted "invasion and disproportionate use of force" and a violation of the "right of freedom of religion" for the Palestinians. Abu Akleh's funeral was attended by tens of thousands of people carrying Palestinian flags and chanting nationalist songs; it is believed to have been the largest Palestinian funeral in Jerusalem in over twenty years. On October 26, 2023, the Israeli military bulldozed a memorial that had been erected at the site where Abu Akleh was killed.
Social media is getting the ball rolling on the unlawful arrest of Shaden al-Quos.
She is an African American woman of Palestinian descent. She was arrested in January and been detained in Isrseli custody since. The U.S. State Department under President Donald J. Trump has not done nothing to get her out.
Shireen Abu Akleh worked for al Jazeera. She was a Palestinian American who wore a clearly shown press vest. Israeli snipers deliberately killed her. Joe Biden and Antony Blinkin did not hold Israel accountable for this.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and former secretary of state Antony Blinkin ain't done nothing to get her out.
The Israeli military raided her home. They illegally entered her home in East Jerusalem on January 6 on the bogus charges of incitement on social media.
She was known activist and some are calls for her immediate and unconditional release. Following five days of forced house arrest, the Israeli military ransacked Shaden’s home and confiscated her laptop and phone. She is currently being held at Ofer Prison in the occupied West Bank, facing charges related to incitement on social media.
Shaden is a 27-year-old dancer with the El Funoun Palestinian Popular Dance Troupe, whose mission is to revive and disseminate Palestinian folk dance and songs in schools and community centers all over the world. Aside from traditional Palestinian dabke, Shaden is known for her Afro-Palestinian dance, a unique fusion that merges elements of West African and Levantine folk dance traditions. In February 2024, Shaden was interviewed on Al-Jazeera’s AJ Stream program, where she spoke about her Afro-Palestinian community, whose presence in the Old City of Jerusalem dates back to the British Mandate, and the routine “double-harassment” it faces at the intersection of Black and Palestinian identities. She highlighted the impact of Israeli occupation and the effect of social media censorship by Israeli authorities and social media platforms, with her arrest showing a clear example of non-violent resistance being targeted.
In addition to dance, Shaden paints murals depicting Palestinian cultural and political symbols and scenes in East Jerusalem despite the criminalization of the display of the Palestinian flag by Israeli authorities. Shaden is also a law student at Birzeit University in the West Bank.
Last year around Feb. 2024, Samaher Esmail, a 46-year-old mother of Palestinian origin and resident of New Orleans, had been in the West Bank for under three months when she was charged with incitement for several photos and messages she posted to social media. Some of them involved images of top Hamas leaders, but did not explicitly call for violence. Esmail, who suffers from cancer and kidney problems, was bruised and sickly when her lawyer visited her at Damon prison, where she was held in the north of Israel before her release.
She was tried in military court for the very same charges that Shaden had.
Samher will only be able to go back to the U.S. once her trial concludes, which could take months, and only if she is found not guilty.
That a U.S. citizen is being tried in military court — an apartheid legal system for West Bank Palestinians separate from the civilian courts enjoyed by Israelis — has drawn widespread criticism. Israel doesn't offer due process and largely imprisons those who threaten its security. Palestinians and human rights groups say the system is awash in violations of due process and almost always renders guilty verdicts, with 95% of military court hearings ending in convictions, according to Israeli watchdog Military Court Watch.
It is a fucking kangaroo court.
Esmail’s representatives and family celebrated Thursday’s decision to release her on bail, but expressed dismay at what they perceive as a tepid U.S. government response to the incarceration of an American by Israel.
“We’re ecstatic because we feel like this rarely happens,” said Esmail’s son, Suliman Hamed, who lives in New Orleans. “I feel like because of all the media coverage they may have done it fairly this time around. I really thought I might never see her again.”
Rachel Corrie. George W. Bush and Collin Powell did not hold Israel accountable for her death. She was intentionally ran over by a bulldozer trying to protect a West Bank family's home from being destroyed.
On Feb. 6, Esmail was dragged out of her house by Israeli forces in the middle of the night. A video of the incident provoked outrage on social media. During her arrest, her lawyer alleges Israeli forces beat Esmail, did not give her time put on her hijab — the headscarf worn by some Muslim women — and her Israeli interrogator did not ask properly if Esmail wanted an attorney present.
Little was known publicly about her whereabouts, the charges against her, or her condition.
She was not able to see a lawyer until four days after her arrest, according to court documents from her initial hearing. Esmail reportedly did not have access to her medications for at least the first six days of her detention and fainted in prison, said a letter written to the former secretary of state Blinken by Jonathan Franks, a crisis management consultant who represents Americans detained abroad and is working for Esmail’s family. A consular officer did not visit Esmail until 14 days after her arrest, Franks said Thursday.
“I was extremely frustrated, given the issue of her potentially having been abused in custody, that it took 14 days to get a consular officer to see her,” said Franks, who flew from the U.S. to attend Thursday’s hearing. “I would like to see a public statement from the embassy that it’s our expectation that Americans are not going to be put through these military commissions. And I don’t think that that’s too much to ask of a friend.”
The judge ruled Thursday at Israel’s Ofer prison that the military court did not have jurisdiction to prosecute Esmail for posts she made while in the U.S., but charged her with incitement for posts she made while in the West Bank. Esmail attended the hearing remotely, via videoconference from Damon prison.
Three of the posts involved a figure resembling Abu Obeida, the spokesman of Hamas’ armed wing. Under two of the images was the inscription “Victory or death of the Saints, God willing,” according to court documents. Esmail also changed her profile picture to a masked man resembling Obeida twirling a ball on his finger, emblazoned with U.S. and Israeli flags.
She also posted a photo of Yahya Ayyash, who built bombs for Hamas and was killed by Israel in 1996, against the backdrop of Al-Aqsa mosque.
No post in question received more than 11 likes.
“The posts constituted incitement and support of an illegal organization, and are therefore not protected speech” the judge said Thursday.
The court’s decision means that Esmail will have to remain in the West Bank until the legal proceedings against her are complete. During that time, Esmail is barred from posting publicly on social media. Her next trial at a military court is set for March 31, according to Franks.
In the meantime, her family is worried that she will not have access to adequate cancer treatment in the West Bank and that Israel may arrest her again.
Thursday’s hearings followed a previous military court hearing six days after her arrest in which the military judge assigned to her case openly questioned the wisdom of prosecuting an American citizen and wondered if the court had jurisdiction, according to case files obtained by The Associated Press.
“It is not wise to file indictment against her based on the allegations,” the judge said at the time. “In the substantial sense, nor even in the political sense (in its international sense).”
Despite the judge’s recommendation that Esmail be released on bail, the military prosecutor filed an indictment — leading to Thursday’s hearing.
The case comes at a time of high tension between the U.S. and Israel over the war in Gaza, which has claimed over 30,000 lives since Oct. 7, when Hamas militants staged a cross border attack, killing some 1,200 Israelis and dragging 250 hostages back to Gaza.
Little Marco and Butcher Netanyahu.
Since that day, Israel has clamped down on online speech perceived to glorify Hamas or the Palestinian cause. Palestinians have been arrested by Israeli authorities, fired by Israeli employers and expelled from Israeli schools for speech deemed incendiary, rights groups say.
Hamed, Esmail’s son, said the family was disappointed that the embassy did not send a high-ranking official to attend Thursday’s hearing, despite the family’s representatives asking them to.
The U.S. Embassy did not have immediate comment.
Esmail’s family said she often traveled back and forth between the West Bank and the U.S., where she manages a family owned grocery store in the New Orleans suburb of Gretna and worked as a tutor at a nearby high school. She was in the West Bank to see relatives and testify at a hearing about a previous encounter with Israeli forces where she was beaten, her representatives said.
“It’s clear why they’re holding her,” said Hamed. “They’re trying to use her as an example and to intimidate Palestinians. Cases like these have people deleting their social media, canceling their trips to Palestine. They’re trying to silence us.”

The double standard in media coverage is the Israelis are hostages and the Palestinians are prisoners. Some of the Palestinians held in Israeli custody are children under the age of 14.
When Russia seized Ukrainian land and Crimea, the U.S. pushed for sanctions.
When Israel seized Lebanese and Syrian land, the U.S. recognized it as Israeli sovereignty. They have actively rejected sanctions imposed on Israel.
Holding these U.S. lawmakers accountable is not just a pledge, but a promise. You need to learn who represents your community. Your local community member, your school board member, your mayor, your state representative, your state senator, your governor, your U.S. Representative, your U.S. Senator and the president need to be held accountable for their actions. If they are taking money from AIPAC, they are working on behalf of foreign interest.
Israel must be held accountable for war crimes and the U.S. must end its aid. Our taxpayer money should not help Israel any further.
Israel is the red line and if any lawmaker backs the apartheid ethnostate, they will not receive my vote. Regardless of political affiliation, if you are supporting Israel, you are not getting donations or a vote from me.
I will hold President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance accountable.
The call number to the White House and US Capitol is now going to be used. This is the official White House numbers 202-456-1111 and 202-456-1414. This is the Congress official phone number, 202-224-3121. Please be respectful to operators, staff members and elected leaders. Your calls are monitored by the US Secret Service and US Capitol Police.
There are bigger issues in the United States than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more foreign influence in future American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and legislators avoid influence from lobbyists.
Kendrick Lamar, the five time Grammy Award winning rapper performed at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Super Bowl LIX is now in the history books.
The Philadelphia Eagles easily beaten the Kansas City Chiefs.
The score 40-22.
President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, First Lady Melania Trump, former first lady Dr. Jill Biden, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Rupert Murdoch, Megan Thee Stallion, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, LeBron James and so many elites were attending the season finale of the 2024-2025 NFL season.
Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California in 2026.
Trump used a lot of taxpayer money to make that travel.
So many subliminals.
He also touted the Gulf of America nonsense.
Department of Interior Secretary Doug Burgum will force Wikipedia, Apple, Google, Mapquest, AAA and Rand McNally change the Gulf of Mexico to please Trump.
Trump is still adamant on violently seizing Canada, the Panama Canal, Greenland, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
Trump was booed.
Taylor Swift was booed.
The game was a blowout. The Chiefs were denied a 3peat.
Uncle Sam.
Kendrick Lamar decided to not go political but he sure got a lot of attention for dogging rival Drake. The Chiefs lost is a diss on Drake too.
The double entandre kingmaker is a master at trolling.
The chain with the lower case letter "a" in reference to A minor.
The subliminal diss at Lil Wayne. The rapper did a Cetaphil lotion ad to announce his Carter VI album will be released on June 6, 2025. He also took a jab at the Super Bowl snubbing him and New Orleans rappers.
K. Dot responded in due fashion to Trump, Wheezy and Drizzy.
Also the DEI jab.
Uncle Sam.
Free Palestine and Save Sudan.
Samuel L. Jackson appeared along with SZA and Serena Williams.
The tennis great did the crip walk and was there when K. Dot dropped the "better not speak on Serena" verse.
Also, one of the performers in the background managed to do a protest.
He pulled out the Palestinian and Sudanese flag to show solidarity to the struggles they're facing.
The Secret Service and New Orleans Metropolitan Police detained the performer as the cameras panned out to refocus on Kendrick and SZA.
The Drudge Report doesn't see Palestinians being tortured as a crime.
Caution: May contain images that are disturbing.
Mask off.
Resistance is not terrorism.
Occupation of oppressed people is not peace.
A two state solution is "separate but equal" and a de facto apartheid.
Telling other countries to take Palestinians is ethnic cleansing.

Why was the U.S. attacked on Sept. 11, 2001?
Two IDF soliders and a settler were released as a part of this sham ceasefire. Israel has violated the ceasefire numerous times.
The United States backed Israel in its apartheid of the Palestinians. The U.S. continues to build military installations in the Middle East to intimidate Arabs, Asians and Africans. The U.S. continues stripping countries of their resources. The U.S. refuses to face criminal justice, apologize or compensate victims of these endless wars. The U.S. government and the junk food media's negative perception of Arabs and Muslims in television, film, social media and politics also fueled al Qaeda's outrage.
That led to al Qaeda attacking the United States.
That's why TikTok exists. It was an alternative to the bullshit that the government, the newspapers, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, NewsNation and Fox peddled. I am so furious that Trump colluded with Israel to prelong the genocide. I am furious at Biden for stifling free speech by signing a law banning TikTok.
Isrseli regime Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has an active warrant for his arrest. President Donald J. Trump is a convicted felon. They are the definition of white privilege and extremism in the world.
The U.S. is downsliding and it's thanks to our support of old white men who are completely out of touch.
The Israeli regime has rejected a "two state solution." They have interfered in U.S. elections time after time with their proxy groups the ADL and AIPAC throwing money to primary challengers against Cori Bush, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Thomas Massie and Jamaal Bowman. They are literally influencing our lawmakers into banning TikTok, criminalizing boycotts against the regime and equating anti-Zionism with antisemitism.
Israel is literally spying on world leaders, international prosecutors, Muslims, Christians, notable protesters and organizations opposed to the regime's actions.
Settlers have spat, urinated and defacated on non Jewish religious institutions in Israel.
The Israeli regime is trying to force Americans to hate one another to protect its evil interests. The regime believes Trump and Republicans will start their Project 2025 bullshit and assist in the Greater Israel bullshit.
The Israeli regime wants American lawmakers to punish opposing lawmakers, athletes, media personalities, religious leaders, social media influencers, adult entertainment and television shows who speak out against the regime.
The Israeli regime has fanned outrage over regime change, boycotting entertainers who support Israel, octopuses, buttons, protests at synagogues, protests at Holocaust museums, blocking roads, blocking bridges, boycotting companies and calling for international sanctions.
Israel keeps calling it an attack on Jewish people and it amounts to antisemitic propaganda.
Thanks to President Donald J. Trump and former president Joe Biden, the U.S. and its credibility are in major decline. Several countries are considering moving away from the U.S. dollar.
Hamas releases three settlers. The junk food media shocked at their deprived faces.
The world wants to hold Israel accountable for its actions in the Middle East.
The United Nations has voted numerous times to punish, sanction and hold the apartheid ethnostate accountable. The International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, the World Health Organization and Amnesty International want to hold Israel accountable.
The Biden administration blocked every attempt to hold Israel accountable.
The Trump administration past and present blocked every attempt to hold Israel accountable. Trump has threatened to pull the U.S. out of the United Nations.
He has pulled out of the WHO and Amnesty International. Of course it would take an act of the Senate to pass treaties or removal. Executive orders are temporary.
The Drudge Report is a conservative leaning agitator. It was responsible for the rise of Trump in 2016. It has since turned on the president in his 2020 and 2024 elections.
The Drudge Report continues to be extremely critical of MAGAland and Trumpism.
The site's founder Matt Drudge is reclusive gay conservative agitator. He and a team of 10 often get the most shocking news stories to the junk food media.
Drudge continues to be a powerful influence on American politics.
It also appears to be a mouthpiece for the Israeli regime.
The Drudge Report probably got a check from Isrseli interest groups.
The Drudge Report posted "Fraility of Israeli Hostages Freed by Hamas Sparks Alarms" and "Crimes against humanity."
Did The Drudge Report get the message about how it happened?
Israel itself deprived over 2.4 million residents in The Gaza Strip. They stopped food, medicine, water, energy and toiletries from entering.
Israel has killed over 500,000 people in Gaza, The West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Egypt and Yemen. They have killed thousands of aid workers, journalists, inspectors and peacekeepers.
They even kill their own settlers.
The settlers or Israeli Defense Soliders released were deprived of food as well.
The Palestinians who were unlawfully arrested were tortured, raped, deprived of food, medical treatment and water. Israel openly admits they commit these acts.
Palestinian men were sodomized by IDF soliders.
But Israel's hasbara propaganda has the West depicting Hamas as the ones who torture, impregnate and rape.
Hamas is not recognized as a terrorist group in about 80% of the world.
Only in the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, Isrsel, European Union, Japan, Australia and New Zealand calls Hamas a terrorist group.
New Zealand is about to remove Hamas as a sponsor of terrorism.
Hamas and Israel have engaged in protracted armed conflict. Key aspects of the conflict include the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the status of Jerusalem, Israeli settlements, borders, water rights, the permit regime, Palestinian freedom of movement, and the Palestinian right of return. Hamas has attacked Israeli civilians, including using suicide bombings, as well as launching rockets at Israeli cities. A number of countries, including Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the European Union, have designated Hamas as a terrorist organization. In 2018, a motion at the United Nations to condemn Hamas was rejected.
The nameless victims of Israeli aggression.
Hamas is not raping women and there is no proof they done such a horrible act. It is part of the dehumanizing campaign Israel is promoting to influencers in the West. You see it when they are constantly deflecting from the images of Gaza being destroyed by American and European sponsored Israeli weapons. In their minds, they are justifying the brutal slaughter of children, men, women, journalists and doctors as collateral damage.
Hamas stated the reasons for the attack on occupation forces. It has nothing to do with the Jewish religion or Iran.
The IDF has the weapons to destroy everything. All on the American taxpayer, Israel has killed civilians, their own citizens and the status quo.
