Manchin Waters Down Voting Rights Bill!

Manchin tries to woe Republicans again.

The West Virginia Democrat once again pisses off his party by making backdoor deals with Republicans on the belief they will act in "good faith."

A bipartisan deal with Republicans may pass a watered down John Lewis Voting Rights bill.

Sen. Karen Manchin (D-WV) is working with Sen. Karen Collins (R-ME) in passing the Electoral College Act, a simple bill that clarifies that the roles of the Congress, the vice president and the states' role in handling the electoral college.

Under the bill, Congress identifies the single official in the state — usually the governor — who is empowered to submit the state's slate of electors in order to certify election results.

It also describes the vice president's role as "solely ministerial," stating that "he or she does not have any power to solely determine, accept, reject, or otherwise adjudicate disputes over electors," according to a one-page summary of the proposal.

The legislation would also raise the threshold to one-fifth of the members of the House and the Senate to object to the election results. Currently, just one House member and one senator may object to a state's elector or slate of electors. The bill also provides guidelines for a president and vice president to receive federal resources during their transition into office to ensure an orderly transfer of power.

The second proposal prioritizes the safety of election officials and poll watchers by increasing the penalty time to a maximum of two years in prison if an individual intimidates election officials. This bill also aims to improve the handling of mail-in ballots and to provide guidance to states where absentee voting process are in place. In addition, this legislation would reauthorize the Election Assistance Commission for five years in an effort to bolster security of the federal elections system by conducting cyber security testing for voting systems.

"From the beginning, our bipartisan group has shared a vision of drafting legislation to fix the flaws of the archaic and ambiguous Electoral Count Act of 1887," the sixteen senators said in a joint statement. "Through numerous meetings and debates among our colleagues as well as conversations with a wide variety of election experts and legal scholars, we have developed legislation that establishes clear guidelines for our system of certifying and counting electoral votes for President and Vice President. We urge our colleagues in both parties to support these simple, commonsense reforms."

In addition to Collins and Manchin, Republican Sens. Karen Portman of Ohio, Karen Romney of Utah, Karen Murkowski of Alaska, Karen Tillis of North Carolina, Idiot Karen Capito of West Virginia, Karen Young of Indiana, Karen Sasse of Nebraska and Karen Graham of South Carolina helped craft the proposals. Democratic Sens. Karen Sinema of Arizona, Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, Mark Warner of Virginia, Chris Murphy of Connecticut, Ben Cardin of Maryland and Chris Coons of Delaware were involved in the negotiations.

It is unclear when the proposals will receive a vote on the Senate floor, since the Senate is currently working on a bill to provide funding for the American semiconductor industry to improve its competitiveness against China in the technology and manufacturing sectors. Advancing the package will require the votes of 10 Republican senators.

It will likely has some hope of passing if Karen Lee of Utah, Karen Cruz of Texas, Karen Paul of Kentucky or Karen Hawley of Missouri don't fuck it up with the filibuster and delay tactics.

But Obstructionist Leader Karen McConnell of Kentucky has signaled he's open to the  reform on Tuesday. "It needs to be fixed," he said. "And I've been in constant touch with Sen. Collins and sympathetic with what she's trying to achieve."

Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who chairs the Senate Rules Committee, said she'll convene a hearing "in the coming weeks" on the legislation.

"We must update the antiquated Electoral Count Act to ensure that electoral votes for president accurately reflect the election results in each state and to improve the process for counting electoral votes in Congress," she said.

Minneapolis Pulls The Plug On Dave Chappelle!

Can't y'all take a joke?

He may have won the battle in his hometown of Yellow Springs, Ohio but lost the battles in his birthplace of Washington, DC and now the city of Minneapolis.

It appears that the city has pulled the plug on comedian Dave Chappelle's upcoming show due to his Netflix's The Closer. The Emmy-nominated series was controversial after he made unapologetic jokes about the transgender community. It set off a series of boycotts and an attempt on his life.

First Avenue in Minneapolis announced on Instagram that it had canceled the Wednesday night show and apologized to its staff, artists and community for booking Chappelle, Variety reported. The venue, known for its frequent appearances in Prince’s 1984 film “Purple Rain,” said the show would instead take place at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis.

“We know we must hold ourselves to the highest standards, and we know we let you down,” the venue wrote. The event is being held at another venue and protesters are planning to shut it down.

The Varsity Theater hosted Chappelle’s show on Wednesday and plans to do so again on Thursday and Friday. However, the move didn’t quiet protests about the comedian’s appearance at the new venue.

Roughly 50 protestors “shouted, chanted and waved signs” to support trans rights as fans filed into the Varsity Theater on Wednesday, according to the Star Tribune. One Chappelle fan was hit by an egg. Other protestors asked fans to leave the line.

“Black men are held to a disproportionate standard,” one Chappelle fan said about the protests, per the Star Tribune. “I’d like people to take all facts into consideration before making a sweeping judgment.”

Chappelle has continued to face backlash over the transphobic jokes featured in his Emmy-nominated Netflix special “The Closer.” The special has been the target of several protests, including an organized employee walkout at Netflix last October.

Since then, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos has reiterated his support for Chappelle.

Netflix took hits to its stock. Now to regain some of its subscribers, it promises to lower its fees only if they're willing to watch commercials. Netflix shows never had commercials.

The average fee for Netflix subscription is $15 a month. It was originally $7 a month.

Utah Cops Were Really Close To Taking Out A 4 Year Old Shooter!

Utah man told his child to shoot cops.

A man is facing child endangerment charges after his 4-year old child shot at police in Utah. The cops were really close to using deadly force on the man and his children.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

It all started from a dispute over a fast food order that was wrong. The man threatened workers with a gun and they called the law. The law apprehended the man. The child would soon reach into the man's vehicle counsel and pull out his gun and opened fire on the cops after they arrested the man.

The Unified Police Department release body camera footage of the encounter. It happened at the Midvale McDonald's drive-thru.

The 12-minute video shows the moments leading up to the arrest of 27-year-old asshole on as well as what took place after one of his children shot at police at the drive-thru.

The department initially responded to the McDonald’s on February 21 around 1:30 p.m. when employees reported that a man brandished a gun in the drive-thru after his order was incorrect.

Employees asked the asshole to pull to the front of the restaurant after reporting the incident to the police.

The asshole had two children in the car at the time, a 4-year-old and a 3-year-old.

Officers issued several commands for the asshole to get out of the car, but he was non-compliant. Police then opened the asshole’s front driver’s door, pulling him out.

As officers were trying to take asshole into custody, an officer who turned around saw a gun pointing out of the back window screaming “gun,” moments before the 4-year-old fired at officers.

The officer used his hand to sweep the gun away and the gun went off, hitting the upper part of the McDonald’s building. The officer then yelled at the person inside of the car to drop the gun, and after looking inside the car, realized that it was a small child.

The children can be heard crying after the incident as officers ushered them out of the car and away from the scene.

The child fires the gun as they arrest the man.

The asshole was later charged in early March with child abuse, aggravated assault, and interference with an arresting officer after police.

The 4-year-old told police that he picked up the gun because “he wanted his daddy back,” charging records show. The child also told police that the asshole said, “the police officer cannot open the door,” during the altercation.

After being arrested, the asshole told police that he “blacked out” for 30 seconds after he and the McDonald’s employee were arguing over his order. The asshole also denied brandishing the gun in front of the worker, despite surveillance video showing him doing so, court records state.

The asshole also told police that this wasn’t the first time his 4-year-old child had gotten his hands on a gun.

The child's mother and estranged wife of this asshole was pretty pissed off. Not only for the fact that the law could have killed her child but the fact the asshole has let the child use a firearm.

She said that her child is mentally scarred from this and she plans to take the children to Atlanta once the Utah Department of Family Services decides on the children's fate.

Most deadly encounters with firearms involve children. Many children are killed or seriously injured playing with a gun.

Police credit staff for notifying them. The law also credits its officers for not killing the man and his children after they took gunfire.

Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence and COVID-19 will affect your town, your family and your life. So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how gun reform is taking away your rights to own firearms.

I don't want to hear that protesting against police killing people of color is hate on cops in general. I don't want to hear talk about the coronavirus being a myth.

When you hear folks say "gun rights," what they really mean is that its white privilege.

This good guy with a gun nonsense has to end. The cops didn't do nothing when children were shot inside a school. A security guard was shot dead trying to protect shoppers. A cop accidentally shot his own. The good guy who tried to stop a bad guy is outgunned and a part of the rule #3 (risk his/her life to stop the shooter). The "good guy with a gun" better be prepared to die if they want to stop a shooter.

I don't want to hear folks say masks and vaccine mandates impede their freedoms. It prevents a deadly outbreak from spreading. If you want to die from the coronavirus, that's on you. We lost over 1 million people from the coronavirus.

I don't want to hear the shit about guns saving lives. Cause a bullet does not have eyes and it's always likely gonna hit a target. These folks seem to not get it. These incidents are a tragic part of American history. Thoughts and prayers and your heart going out to the victims is not enough. It quite frankly is an insult. I am also tired of scapegoating Black on Black crime, Chicago, Baltimore and Democratic mayors for the nation's obsession to be numb to gun violence. You pretty much enable this nonsense by deflecting.

Asshole's wife said that her children are scarred from this.

President Joe Biden is trying to curb gun violence. However, he has no support from Republicans. Most Democrats and America are for gun control measures. However the two Democrats in the Senate refuse to change the filibuster rules and its holding us back.

The National Rifle Association is always pushing against it. They will not relinquish from the narrative that guns are not saving lives. The Republicans aided by a fickle junk food media are openly encouraging anarchy and disruption in a desperate attempt for the Republicans to win back Congress and the White House. These agitators are calling for Biden to curb crime but will not help him. They want more guns on the street. It makes no sense.

So in closing, expect more.

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those who were killed in the line of duty. Those who don't get their names mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence

The call number to the U.S. Capitol is now going to be used. This is the official phone number, 202-224-3121. Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence.

GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM IN THE UNITED STATES.

You Are Not The White House Doctor!

One Texas dumbass lawmaker peddles Softball Hannity noise.

Ignore the noise.

Vote.

The folks who think Washed Up 45 won the election will not accept the faults that it carries. So if Washed Up 45 won and the economy is in the crapper, I guess it's Joe Biden's fault.

A little information to note:

President Joe Biden's White House Physician is Dr. Kevin O'Connor, a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel.

Republican are easily manipulated by misinformation. That is a fact. For one, only a handful of Republican lawmakers have medical licenses. Many of them are educated and went to prestigious schools. Some were lawyers, cops, nurses, military, business executives and average common working folks. Republicans are driven by their opposition to change. They are driven by their hatred of minorities, Muslims, gays, socialists and climate change.

The ones who are not seen or heard of actually work. Even though most of them oppose the president and the Democratic Party's agenda, some of these Republican lawmakers do crossover to vote for bills.

But as we are entering the Midterms, Republicans are digging head first into culture wars and pivoting. When things are going good for the country, count on Republicans, far right agitators,  the gullible voters and their white nationalist allies to pivot to some ridiculous conspiracy theory.

Gas prices are declining, baby formula is returning to store shelves, unemployment is at record lows, debt is down and yet Biden's job approval is down. The president is being hammered for inflation, even though the world is experiencing inflation as well. Most Americans feel like the economy is heading into a recession.

Biden is still doing far more than his predecessor when it comes to solving problems.

Climate change is real and we are still dealing with partisans not willing to embrace the fact the world is getting hotter and weather is becoming more extreme.

Pete Buttigieg was annoyed with Nehls' stupid questions.

Many workers are frustrated with the work load and drama. The great resignation is real.

Workers are demanding better pay and work conditions.

Congress failed to get Biden's economic plan though again. Republicans and Democrat Karen Manchin of West Virginia once again stalled the bill because of their stubbornness to spending.

So with government grinding to a halt again, Republicans are once again driving Russian propaganda about the president's health. The Softball Hannity noise is back.

Rep. Karen Nehls (R-TX) is the latest Texan lawmaker obsessed with the president's mental fitness and health. He tried to badger Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg about the president and threw up pictures showing Biden being guided.

Of course, these are things propagated by old fart Murdoch's far right media and the Russian Federation. The noise is driven by this.

No. 1, Nehls is not a doctor. He is a former crooked sheriff from Fort Bend County. He was forced out after

No. 2, he is under federal watch for possible collusion with white nationalist like The Oath Keepers and three percenters.

No. 3, he messed with the wrong politician.

Buttigieg is like a gift. He basically shut the noise down quickly. He doesn't allow the noise to slip by.

Nehls shows pictures of the president falling of his bicycle and shaking hands with air.

Nehls began his question by reminding Buttigieg that he once questioned Washed Up 45's mental fitness. So, the Texas Republican continued, it was fair to press Biden's Cabinet secretary on the current president and a litany of examples that have gone viral on right-wing media as possible evidence that Biden isn't up to the task of being the commander in chief at 79-years-old.

"Sadly, he shakes hands with ghosts and imaginary people, he falls off bicycles — even at the White House Easter celebration the Easter Bunny had to guide him back into his safe place," Nehls said as aides held up various photos of Biden.

"First of all, I'm glad to have a president who can ride a bicycle," Buttigieg replied.

"I will look beyond the insulting nature of that question, and make clear to you —" the secretary tried to add before Nehls interrupted him.

Lawmakers can ask anything of Cabinet secretaries when they testify before Congress, but Nehls' tangent was particularly notable even within that context.

In particular, the Texas Republican pointed to Biden falling off of his bike last month in Delaware and later flashing a cue card that included very simple instructions like, "YOU take YOUR seat." The Easter Bunny photo was a reference to an April incident at the Easter egg roll where the bunny, most likely a White House staffer, tried to prevent the president from talking to reporters.

Biden's White House doctor is retired Army Lt. Col. Kevin O'Connor.

Nehls also wanted to know if Buttigieg or other members of the Biden Cabinet had discussed the 25th amendment. Buttigieg made it clear no such discussions have taken place.

"Of course not," Buttigieg said. "The President of the United States is as vigorous a colleague or boss as I have ever had the pleasure of working with."

If the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet formally deem the president unfit for office, the vice president can temporarily become the acting president. Members of Washed Up 45's Cabinet have confirmed that they discussed invoking the 25th Amendment in wake of the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Nehls is a freshman lawmaker. There are 90 members of Congress who are considered worthless. He is one of those members. About 24 Democrats and 66 Republicans are totally worthless when it comes to drafting legislation and getting bills out of committee.

Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) is a non voting delegate in Congress. She does more work than Nehls, Rep. Idiot Karen Greene (R-GA), Rep. Karen Boebert (R-CO), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Karen Jordan (R-OH) and Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) combined.

Kelly Rowland: I Would've Burn [Sesame Place] Down After Seeing That Video!

Kelly Rowland slams Sesame Place.

Singer and media personality Kelly Rowland reacted to the now viral video of a person dressed as Rosita snubbing two Black girls. It comes as Sesame Workshop and Sesame Place reacted to this and a string of other videos showing characters ignore Black children.

The mother said she will never set foot in that place ever again. She hired an attorney to pursuit a lawsuit.

“The fact that this even happened, the fact that this is going to be a core memory for them when it comes to Sesame Place, it’s actually disgusting and unbelievable to me,” Jodi Brown said.

Brown says her daughter and niece were sad after what happened at Sesame Place, so she posted this video on Instagram on Saturday.

Brown said the character Rosita was walking a parade route, high-fiving and hugging other children, but intentionally ignored her daughter and her niece. She believes it was because of the color of their skin.

Sesame Place officials though are claiming it was a misunderstanding.

Brown just wants Sesame to take accountability for what happened.

“When I first posted the picture the following day, they sent me a message to call to speak to a manager, she was supposed to call me back, and I haven’t received a phone call back since the whole situation went viral,” Brown said.

The former Destiny's Child vocalist was not pleased when Sesame Place Philadelphia rolled out a weak apology towards the family. She said had it been her and her children, she would have burned down the place. Figuratively speaking, she said she would literally confront the character or management.

“Okay, so had that been me, that whole parade would’ve been in flames. Are you serious?! You’re not going to speak to my child? And did you see that baby’s face at the end? The little one with the pink on? She deserves an explanation!”

There have been a handful of videos showing characters interacting with white guests but ignore or shove aside Black children.

The person who played Rosita will be punished.

Sesame Place and Sesame Workshop said it will take steps to identify the characters, retrain them and promptly discipline those who refuse to follow their policies.

“Our brand, our park and our employees stand for inclusivity and equality in all forms. That is what Sesame Place is all about and we do not tolerate any behaviors in our parks that are contrary to that commitment. Regarding the incident yesterday, the costumes our performers wear sometimes make it difficult to see at lower levels and sometimes our performers miss hug requests from guests.”

The statement claimed the gestures from the person in the Rosita weren’t aimed at “any specific person.” Sesame Place also said in its statement that the employee in the costume “did not intentionally ignore the girls and is devastated about the misunderstanding.” They also invited the family back for a “special meet-and-greet opportunity.” The family has not revealed whether or not they will pursue legal action or take Sesame Place up on their offer.

Ohio Supreme Court Rejects Redistricting Maps Again!

Ohio congressional map is rejected.

Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Illinois are the Midwestern states.

Democrats are weak and Republicans are extreme. That is how most voters see it.

Republicans see opportunities in courting white voters who feel that President Joe Biden is not delivering results. Many of these state legislatures are Republican controlled and they continue to push their fascist agenda despite them being very unpopular.

Republicans continue to make gerrymandered maps. The voters decided that they want a fair redistricting map. Republicans ignore it and continue to make districts that favor them. Now they have 30 days to figure out how to

Ohio has a second primary in August 2022.

Ohio lost a congressional district and now it will have to figure out how to make these 15 districts fair.

If the state legislature cannot come up with new maps in 30 days, the task will fall to the Ohio Redistricting Commission, a group of seven officials including the governor and the secretary of state.

In its 4-3 ruling, the court said the latest map — which was passed earlier this year by the Ohio Redistricting Commission without Democratic support — again violated a 2018 constitutional amendment aimed at preventing partisan gerrymandering.

The map created 10 safe Republican seats and five Democratic seats. However, the high court’s majority said the latest map “packed” Democrats into three congressional districts that would heavily favor a Democratic candidate, while unfairly splitting counties and cities around heavily-Democratic Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus.

GOP commissioners called it their best attempt at avoiding partisan favor while abiding by the Constitution’s specific provisions, which are in use this decade for the first time.

Majority justices said evidence showed a map that didn’t “unduly favor” Ohio’s majority party would have at least six Democratic-leaning districts, leaving nine Republican-leaning districts. The justices cited studies by several election experts hired by the voting-rights and Democratic groups who challenged the maps.

Dems Will Defend Marriage!

The extremists want to end marriage equality.

The House of Representatives have pass a lot of bills only for them to die in the Senate.

Republicans nearly oppose everything being passed by the House. Many of these bills require a 60 vote majority.

Two Democrats refuse to end the filibuster rules. Republican if they get in power will likely end the filibuster rules and push forward a fascist agenda.

Democrats are now rushing to protect marriage equality. That means gay and interracial marriage. In the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned, Supreme Court justice Coonrence Thomas and Republicans are now focused on overturning Obergefell v. Hodges.

If overturned, states will imposes marriage bans on same sex and interracial couples.

The Democratic-controlled chamber is set to vote Tuesday on the Respect for Marriage Act, which would establish legal protections for marriage between same-sex couples nationwide, according to Majority Leader Steny Hoyer's (D-MD) office. The House is poised to vote later in the week on the Right to Contraception Act, a bill that would protect access to birth control.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told Democrats in a letter Monday that the House will pass the bills "this week" to enshrine those rights in order “to protect freedom in our nation, as extremist Justices and lawmakers take aim at more of our basic rights.”

The two measures are expected to pass the House with Democratic support — and potentially some Republicans. It's unclear if they can pass the Senate, which is split 50-50 between the two parties and where the bills would need at least 10 GOP votes to defeat a filibuster. Sen. Karen Collins (R-ME) is a co-sponsor of the marriage equality bill, but is the only Republican senator, so far, to champion the bill.

Sen. Karen Cruz (R-TX) meanwhile, said Saturday that the 2015 decision legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide was “clearly wrong” and an example of the justices “overreaching.”

“Obergefell, like Roe v. Wade, ignored two centuries of our nation’s history,” he said on “Verdict with Ted Cruz,” his podcast. “Marriage was always an issue that was left to the states.”

The Supreme Court will take up marriage equality.

Cruz said Monday that states should not be allowed to ban other categories of marriage. Asked by NBC News if he believes the Supreme Court should overturn Loving v. Virginia, which found a right to interracial marriage, Cruz said, “Of course not.”

“Because Loving was plainly correct,” he said, arguing that that decision was based on the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment, which he said, “was passed to eliminate government racial discrimination.”

Democrats are using threats to same-sex marriage and contraception to try to galvanize voters in the 2022 midterm election.

“People should be concerned, based on how the Supreme Court ruled in overturning Roe v. Wade. This is clearly an activist court,” Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI) the chair of the Democratic Senate campaign arm, said in an interview.

In 2015, the 5-to-4 Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage nationally prompted a tactical retreat by Republicans as public opinion was moving rapidly toward support of the right. But the court’s newly constructed 6-to-3 majority — seen as the most conservative in nearly a century — offers the tantalizing possibility for opponents of gay marriage that the ruling could also be reversed.

The votes could put Republican senators in a difficult position, with Obstructionist leader Karen McConnell (R-KY) seeking to downplay cultural hot button issues where his party is at odds with public opinion in order to protect GOP candidates in the fall midterm elections.

But many Republican senators are wary of alienating their culturally conservative base, which is disillusioned by the pace of social change in the United States and has little interest in seeing their elected representatives codify those rights. Last week, Republicans blocked a bill to protect interstate travel to legally get an abortion.

Thomas wants to end marriage equality. It might come back to haunt him.

And on Monday, Senate Republicans appeared conflicted when asked if same-sex marriage and contraception should be rights.

Sen. Karen Johnson (R-WI) called those proposals "a hypothetical" and added that he'll "see what happens" if they come up.

Sen. Karen Ernst (R-IA) a member of GOP leadership, said she would "have to look at any text" on codifying legal birth control.

"I don't know that we need to codify things like that. Shouldn't that be states and local jurisdictions, maybe?" she said. "I would just have to see how it's worded. But, no, I think women should have access to contraception. But it depends on the definition of contraception."

Sen. Karen Lankford (R-OK) accused Democrats of seeking to “ramp everybody up leading up to the election to say, ‘Oh, my gosh, Republicans are coming after you’ kind of theme that they seem to be running right now.”

When asked if Congress should establish a right to contraception, he said “there already is” a right under Supreme Court precedent.

Rep. Susan Wild (D-PA) who is fighting to hold her seat this fall, said her constituents are “outraged” by the rescinding of their rights by the court and that she strongly supports both bills. As for contraception, she said, “I can’t even believe that I have to be talking about this issue, quite honestly.”

Blame Game: Jonathan Sapirman!

Another white mass shooter.

The mass shooting at the Greenwood Park Mall in suburban Indianapolis.

Another white terrorist who decided to take his frustrations on the world. He may have been motivated by hate. The victims were identified by the Marion County coroner's office.

The terrorist is a 20-year old from Greenwood, Indiana.

Elisjsha Dicken, the 22-year-old Indiana man who intervened in a mass shooting at the Greenwood Park Mall on Sunday night. This man was extremely lucky. He managed to kill the mass shooter with a normal handgun. The terrorist was hoping to kill many more.

Before he carried out his attack, the terrorist was hiding in a men's restroom preparing for his attack. He wanted to target the food court because most people gather around that area to eat and meet up.

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Karen Holcomb, Sen. Karen Young (R-IN), Sen. Karen Braun (R-IN) and the U.S. Representatives for Indiana were informed of the mass shooting.

The far right lawmaker, Rep. Karen Banks (R-IN) praises the "good guy with a gun" for risking his life to save lives and giving the NRA's weak argument a boost. Still three people died, lives were interrupted and folks will avoid the mall because of shit like this.

"I'm grateful a good guy with a gun was there to prevent further casualties and am praying for the families who lost loved ones in this senseless tragedy," said Banks, a Republican who represents Fort Wayne and the northeast parts of the state, in a tweet Sunday night.

Notice Republicans wants prayers and not solutions.

An active shooter doesn't care about the politics, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, your finances, your family, your plans that day, your successes, your failures, and most importantly, your life.

The shooter is motivated within seconds to take out as many people as he/she can.

Terrorist was plotting.
What to do to protect your life.

1. Run - If you hear sounds like firecrackers, popping sounds or suspicious activities around a large gathering (i.e. malls, stores, clubs, public gatherings), if you can flee, run away from the shooter. Do not run in a straight path of the sight. Move around and zig-zag if possible to keep yourself out the line of fire. It's best to not film a shooter commiting the act. If you are willing to risk your life for a viral video, more power to you but its best to stay out of the line of fire by running away.

2. Hide - If you are involved in an active shooting, you must barricade yourself in a room and keep doors locked, lights off, phones on silent. Do not go into restrooms, lockers and kitchens. Those are most likely places where shooters often go. If you can barricade a room to prevent a shooter from getting in, it eliminate the opportunity for the shooter to get through. Make sure you keep your voice low when you're involved in mass shooting. Call 9-1-1 if you can.

3. Fight - If you are willing to risk your life or willing to film the incident, you have no choice but to fight. Make sure you grab something that is powerful enough to disarm a shooter. Do not confront a shooter in the midst of sight. Make yourself not visible if you're trying to fight. Do not think being a "good guy with a gun" is going to stop a bad guy. The cops don't see good guys trying to stop bad guys. They see active shooters and they will shoot anyone who is armed regardless of the matter. If you're ready to fight, be prepared to die. It's best to not be easily seen if you're trying to stop a shooter. If you're a conceal carry and attempt to disarm an active shooter, you are willing to sacrifice your life to save lives. You are willing to go hero, you could die a hero or an idiot.

The terrorist had an AR-15 style weapon and appeared to empty over a 100 rounds.

The Johnson County and Marion County coroners' offices identified the slain victims as a married Indianapolis couple — Pedro Pineda, 56, and Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda, 37 — and Victor Gomez, 30, also of Indianapolis. A woman and a 12-year-old girl who was hit by shrapnel were wounded in the attack, police said.

White man stops mass shooter.

Dicken, a white male was in the mall with his girlfriend when the shooting happened. He survived not being killed by the cops. He has white privilege and was pretty lucky to not be shot and killed. E.J. Bradford did all the things right when a Black terrorist opened fire in the Riverchase Galleria Mall in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a Black good guy with a gun and the white cops shot and killed him.

There were other good guys with guns killed. The Buffalo shooter killed a Black good guy with a gun. He was a security officer who had retired from the Buffalo Police.

Dicken was a hero, an idiot and a prime example of the white talking points about more guns in the hands of more potential killers. See the good guy was not a Black man, Latino man, practicing Muslim or foreign national. He lived to keep that talking point alive.

"He engaged the gunman from quite a distance with a handgun and was very proficient in that, very tactically sound," Greenwood Police chief James Ison said of Dicken. "And as he moved to close in on the suspect, he was also motioning for people to exit behind him."

Dicken fired 10 rounds from his handgun, according to the chief, and that as he fired, the gunman "attempted to retreat back into the restroom and failed, and fell to the ground after being shot."

The good guy who tried to stop a bad guy is outgunned and a part of the rule #3. The "good guy with a gun" better be prepared to die if they want to stop a shooter.
Nearly 400 mass shootings in 2022.

Malls are often a soft target.
