Sofia Cheung won't get to live her life to the fullest. She ended that when she and her three friends decided to take a trip to do a selfie. She and her friends went to Ha Pak Lai Park to take a selfie around the Pineapple Mountain.
While hiking on the mountain, she would lose her footing and slipped. She fell into a 16 foot pool after falling.
Her friends called for emergency help. They quickly retrieved her and took her to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
She often was on Instagram posting selfies on the ledges of cliffs and doing pilates.
Many folks who want that "LIKE" on social media are doing dangerous things. She isn't the first nor she won't be the last person to sacrifice her life for the fame.

The Democrats are hoping to capitalize off the slim majority in the Senate by urging a Supreme Court justice to retire so President Joe Biden appoints a Black woman to the bench.
Washed Up 45 in his one term managed to squeeze through three Supreme Court nominees.
The Republicans blocked the nomination of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court during Barack Obama's fourth year of the second term in office. In Washed Up 45's fourth year Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away and it led to the former president nominating his third nominee. The Republicans quickly pushed it through and got the Supreme Court swinging more conservative.
With the 2022 U.S. Midterms in waiting, the Democrats are expecting the Republicans to retake Congress and cause a headache for Biden.
The Republicans have already vowed to block nominees for the Supreme Court.
So they're pushing for Stephen Breyer to retire so Biden can get a pick into the Court.
Ketanji Brown Jackson is the leading candidate for the Supreme Court.
Breyer has not yet decided when he will retire, amid growing pressure from liberal activists and Democratic lawmakers who want to see the Biden administration nominate a younger liberal justice to the bench.
When asked whether he had decided when to step down, Breyer answered no in a CNN interview on Thursday. His ultimate decision will be based “primarily, of course, [on] health”, and “second, the court”, he said. The comments from Breyer, who is now 82 and the court’s oldest justice, follow his previous refusals to retire last month when the supreme court’s most recent term ended.
Breyer currently faces calls from liberal activists and Democratic lawmakers to step down immediately. Many on the political left are trying to persuade Breyer to make way for a younger justice who would be nominated by President Biden while the Senate still holds a thin Democratic majority.
Nominated by President Clinton in 1994, Breyer said his “satisfaction” of now being the most senior liberal justice for the first time since Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death “has made a difference to me”.
Recently, Breyer has led several cases including the court’s dismissal of a challenge to the Affordable Care Act and the backing of Google in a major multibillion dollar copyright case brought by Oracle.
Throughout his tenure, Breyer has sought to build consensus across the justices, noting that outside politics should not play a role in the court’s work. In a recent lecture at Harvard law school, Breyer discussed the judges’ roles, saying: “They are loyal to the rule of law, not to the political party that helped to secure their appointment.”

It appears the endorsement from Jim Clyburn has impact in a closely watch special election race in Ohio. The two leading candidates are tied and it has the leftists shook.
Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) is a kingmaker. President Joe Biden can credit him for saving his campaign. Clyburn said pick a Black sorority woman as your running mate. His pick of Kamala Harris was a life saver. It not only energized Black women but it help generate Asian Americans. Vice President Harris is half Black and half South Asian. Her roots and ties to the sorority led to the KHive.
The KHive is a movement of supporters of Harris. They are aggressively targeting agitators who spread misinformation about Harris and those who backed her.
Enter Shontel Brown.
Brown is the Cuyahoga County councilwoman who has little name recognition but is being targeted by the remnants of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). His former campaign chair and former president of Our Revolution was "leading" in the polls. It appears that the lead evaporated and she is in panic mode. Her new strategy is "throw the kitchen sink and toilet bowl."

Nina Turner, the former Ohio state senator has the backing of Sanders, white leftists, The Intercept, Charlamagne tha Rapist, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Tim Black, Ted Lieu, Katie Porter, Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, Kyle Kulinski, Shaun King, Killer Mike and Cenk Uygur. She earned the endorsement of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland's largest newspaper. She has been sloganing the "Hello Somebody" and is running away from her bombastic rhetoric of last year.
Turner touts endorsements. Turner has the most name recognition in this race. And of course, her supporters are praising all of this. But here's where we see the hypocrisy and the audacity.

Turner now accuses Brown of having out of state interest group involved in the race. Uh, Turner did not get the endorsements from Hillary Clinton, Ted Deutch, Joyce Beatty and the Congressional Black Caucus.
Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH) is the chairwoman of the Congressional Black Congress and a representative from the Columbus, Ohio area. She is a longtime friend of former congresswoman Marcia Fudge.
Fudge left her seat to become the Housing and Urban Development Secretary.
Turner apparently left Maryland to run for the seat. She claims that she's the "favorite" of Cleveland.
This is the woman who refused to back Clinton in 2016 and called voting for Biden in a nasty comparison. She said that voting for Biden is like having "half-a-bowl of shit. It's still shit!"
The tide is turning against Turner and now she is using her army of trolls to attack Brown and the KHive.
The attacks range from calling her corporate Democrat to being insignificant Black. Many of these attacks are coming from white people who support Turner. The enablers of white nationalism doesn't often come from the far-right. There are many on the far-left that are pushing racial attacks on Brown, Clyburn and Black supporters.
Mind you the trolls are not living in Ohio or the 11th Congressional District of Ohio.
Still we have a race which will determine if we get a lawmaker who backs Biden or causes chaos.
Brown has not been on CNN, MSNBC, The Hill, The Young Turks and other national platforms.
She isn't a podcaster or talk show host. She had a minor stint in radio but gave that up to run for something. She earned the spot to be Cuyahoga County's Democratic Chair. She earned that spot to be a councilwoman for Cuyahoga County.
She never was appointed to the position. Turner was appointed as the state senator.
Brown has not lost an election. Turner who had the backing of Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden lost in a landslide for Ohio Secretary of State. Karen Husted won handily.
Now he is the current Ohio lieutenant governor.
Brown supported Turner in her ill-fated bid for Ohio Secretary of State. She has backed every Democrat running for office. Turner never backed the Democrats and urged voters in Pennsylvania to back Karen Stein of the Green Party.
Turner promises to join the Squad. The Squad has been causing too much chaos within the party. It's forced Hakeem Jeffries and Abigail Spanberger to mount a campaign to stop far-left candidates from shaping the Democratic Party.
Biden doesn't need headaches. He needs partners and winners.
Shontel Brown is a winner. I am going to ensure that she will become the winner of the special election.
Early voting has begun and it's expected to be a low turnout if we don't get our asses out to vote.

I normally leave the names of suspected criminals out my postings. I also say that suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. I don't like giving name checks to problems. But I will make an exception in the case of NFL star Richard Sherman.
Sherman was arrested this week.
The free-agent cornerback is facing several charges, including one on suspicion of burglary domestic violence, after he was arrested at his wife's parents' residence in Redmond, Washington, early Wednesday.
Redmond Police Department Chief Darrell Lowe said at a news conference Wednesday that Sherman also faces charges of suspicion of resisting arrest and malicious mischief. In addition, Washington State Patrol Capt. Ron Mead said at the news conference that his department is also ready to refer Sherman to prosecutors for possible misdemeanor DUI and hit-and-run charges related to a separate incident Wednesday.
Sherman sustained minor lacerations to a lower leg and ankle and was treated at a local hospital as a result of contact from a police dog, which was used in his apprehension, Lowe said. An officer at the scene also received minor injuries, he said.
Sherman was booked at 6:08 a.m. PT Wednesday at the King County Correctional Facility in Seattle. Records state he was denied bail, but a spokesman for the Redmond Police Department told ESPN that is standard procedure for suspects of domestic violence until they can appear before a judge.
Sherman's hearing before the judge will not take place until Thursday afternoon. The judge will determine if there was probable cause for an arrest and also set bail.
The domestic violence component of the charge Sherman faces, which is a felony, is because of his relation to the occupants of the residence. The malicious mischief charge is in relation to the damage he allegedly did to their front door, Lowe said. No one at the residence sustained injuries and Sherman did not gain entry into the residence, Lowe said.
Redmond police received a 911 call at approximately 1:49 a.m. PT from one of the residents of the home, at which at least four adults were present, saying that Sherman was trying to gain entrance. Lowe said he was unsure if children were present.
Lowe said that the Washington State Patrol received a 911 call at approximately 1:26 a.m. PT about a possibly impaired driver after Sherman allegedly drove his SUV into a closed construction zone. The call was made by a worker in the construction zone, Mead said, noting "we're very fortunate there were no injuries." Police responded and found the vehicle, which had "significant" damage on the driver's side as a result from contact with a barrier, in a nearby parking lot. They ran the plates on the vehicle and determined it was registered to Sherman.
In their efforts to find Sherman, the Washington State Patrol was alerted to the incident called into Redmond police and went to that location and assisted in the arrest. Officers and state troopers tried to calm the situation by developing a rapport with the football star, authorities said. One trooper told Sherman how, as a teenager, he worked as a valet and once parked Sherman's car.
Lowe said the situation between Sherman and police turned after he was informed they had probable cause to place him under arrest. At that point, he began to walk away and increased his pace, at which time the K-9 unit was deployed to aid in the arrest.
The Washington State Patrol received a blood search warrant and took a sample from Sherman, Mead said. Those results are still pending. Lowe said that police could smell an "odor of intoxicant emitting from [Sherman's] breath."
"At this time we're going to make no statements, except he didn't harm anybody," Sherman's wife, Ashley Moss, told The Seattle Times. "My kids were not harmed in the incident. He's a good person and this is not his character. We're doing all right, just trying to get him out. I want people to know no one was injured."
Sherman, 33, completed his third season with the San Francisco 49ers in 2020 after spending the first seven seasons of his career with the Seattle Seahawks.
The NFL said Wednesday that it "investigates any incident involving law enforcement and if there is a violation of the personal conduct policy the player would be facing discipline."
Sherman also is a vice president of the NFL Players Association's executive committee.
"We were made aware of an arrest last night of one of our player leaders for an alleged domestic violence incident and have activated our domestic violence crisis protocol for the protection and support of everyone involved," the NFLPA said in a statement. "We will continue to monitor events closely as more facts are made available to us."
Sherman has been selected to five Pro Bowls and is a three-time first-team All-Pro in his 10 NFL seasons.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Michigan State University has admitted that they failed the victims of this monster who abused hundreds of women. This monster is currently in federal time out for LIFE after he was found guilty of sexual abuse.
He committed sexual abuse of young athletes and the subsequent cover-up ultimately led to the USA Gymnastics sex abuse scandal that began in 2015, alleging that the monster repeatedly sexually assaulted at least 265 young women and girls under the guise of medical treatment.
His victims included numerous Olympic and United States women's national gymnastics team gymnasts.
FBI officials in Indianapolis first learned of allegations against the monster in July 2015. Agents waited five weeks to conduct any interviews on the matter and then failed to follow protocol in sharing information with others in the bureau and other law enforcement agencies. The monster, who later pleaded guilty to sexually abusing gymnasts under the guise of medical treatment, continued to see patients for more than a year until a separate complaint made to police in Michigan resulted in his arrest. More than 70 women and girls claim in civil lawsuits that the monster sexually assaulted them during that year long period after the FBI received complaints about him.
The report said the FBI officials on the case did not respond with the "seriousness and urgency" required by serious allegations. The investigators also found the supervisory special agent in Indianapolis failed to properly document complaints, mishandled evidence and made false statements about the case. A now-retired FBI agent made false statements under oath as well, leading a pair of U.S. senators to call for criminal charges.
The father of one of those victims was trying "Bum rush the show."
"There were a number of documents and oral statements made to investigators that were plainly false," said Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), who led a Congressional investigation of the case along with Sen. Karen Moran (R-KS). "I would like to know why there were no criminal charges and whether these agents will be held accountable. There has to be a measure of accountability."
Wednesday's report says W. Jay Abbott, the special agent in charge of the case in Indianapolis, provided false statements to the justice department investigators about his interest in working for USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee. The investigators also found that Abbott showed "extremely poor judgement" in the relationship he developed in 2015 with then-USA Gymnastics president Steve Penny.
Abbott met Penny at a bar in Indianapolis in October 2015, three months after Penny first provided the FBI with information about the monster. The two men discussed a potential job for Abbott as a security officer for the U.S Olympic Committee after he retired from the FBI. Penny recommended Abbott for the position in an email he sent to the USOC's chief security officer. According to the report, Abbott later applied for that position in 2017 and considered applying to replace Penny as the USA Gymnastics president when Penny resigned under pressure as news of the allegations garnered more attention. Abbott told the inspector general's office under oath in 2019 that he never expressed interest in those positions.
Abbott retired from the FBI in January 2018, one month after the monster pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges.
In response to Wednesday's report, FBI assistant director Douglas Leff wrote that Abbott's conduct was "particularly troubling" and "is not representative of the FBI or of our tens of thousands of retirees and current employees." Leff wrote that the supervisory special agent, who was not named in the report, is no longer a supervisor and that the bureau "took immediate action to ensure that the individual is not working on FBI matters."
Attorney John Manly, who represents more than 150 of that monster's survivors, joined the senators in calling for the attorney general to pursue criminal charges against the FBI agents in Indianapolis.
"These women and girls not only deserved to have their case thoroughly investigated but deserved the respect and full attention of those investigating their case," Manly said in a statement. "Instead, at least two senior FBI agents lied, intentionally fabricated a victim's statement, and falsely denied any crime had been committed, in order to protect USA Gymnastics; presumably in exchange for the prospect of a high paying post bureau job in the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee."
Pedophile admits to molesting 10 of the 265 young women and girls.
The monster remains in federal prison, where he is serving a 60-year sentence for child pornography charges that stem from material police found on his property in September 2016. He also pleaded guilty in 2018 to 10 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in Michigan state court, which added up to 175 years to his time in prison.
Penny was arrested in October 2018 on charges of felony evidence tampering related to a separate incident when he allegedly instructed an employee to remove documents from the Texas training facility where the monster treated many Olympic-level gymnasts. His attorneys have previously told ESPN that any assertion that Penny was trying to curry favor with Abbott by helping him find a post-retirement job with the U.S. Olympic Committee is "absurd."
"The only favor that Steve wanted from Agent Abbott or anyone at the FBI was for them to promptly and thoroughly investigate [the suspect]," the attorneys said.
The FBI's investigation was neither prompt nor thorough, according to the inspector general's report. FBI agents in Indianapolis interviewed only one of the three gymnasts who told USA Gymnastics officials about the monster's conduct in 2015. The FBI did not formally document or open an investigation, according to Wednesday's report.
Investigators found that an assistant U.S. attorney advised the Indianapolis-based agents in September 2015 to transfer their case to the FBI's Lansing Resident Agency in Michigan, where the monster lived and saw most of his patients. The Indianapolis office failed to make that transfer, despite telling USA Gymnastics officials that they had shared information with their colleagues in Michigan.
Eight months later, in May 2016, USA Gymnastics officials contacted the FBI's Los Angeles field office to raise the same concerns about the monster. Agents in Los Angeles said they found no record of a formal complaint filed in Indianapolis. According to the inspector general, the Los Angeles field office interviewed several of the monster's alleged victims but "did not take any action to mitigate the risk to gymnasts that he continued to treat."
Meanwhile, Penny told the families of gymnasts Aly Raisman, Maggie Nichols and McKayla Maroney not to speak to others about their claims against the monster. Penny's attorneys said he was under the impression that public mentions of allegations against the monster could jeopardize the FBI's investigations.

The pedophile who is a washed up former chief justice of Alabama Supreme Court and U.S. senate nominee tried to sue Israeli-British-American comedian Sasha Baron Cohen after he was pranked on Showtime's Who Is America.
A skit involving an Israeli security official testing out a pedophile wand on Karen Moore was seen by millions. In the lawsuit, the white nationalist claimed the comedian ruined his reputation.

The Politico reports Moore, who served twice in his role on the Alabama Supreme Court and was twice removed from the position, sued Baron Cohen after Moore was interviewed under the pretense that he would receive an award for his support of Israel. Baron Cohen pretended to be an Israeli anti-terrorism expert and claimed he had technology that would show whether Moore was a pedophile — a reference to sexual misconduct allegations against Moore — for the series “Who Is America?”
Moore alleged that Baron Cohen defamed him. He and his wife, Karen Moore, also alleged intentional infliction of emotional distress and fraud.
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed the case on Tuesday after agreeing with the defendants that because Moore had signed a waiver before the interview, and because of First Amendment protection, Moore’s claims were barred. Judge John P. Cronan, an appointee of Washed Up 45, dismissed the claims by both Moore and his wife.
A disbarred vexatious attorney Karen Klayman represented Moore. The idiot filed notice that his client intended to appeal Tuesday’s decision.
Russell Smith of SmithDehn LLP, counsel for Baron Cohen, said the decision made the absurdity of the case clear when it noted that no reasonable viewer could have seen the “Who Is America?” interview as anything other than a joke. Smith said he was “very happy that justice has been done” in response to the dismissal of the Moores’ case.

Baron Cohen has built a comedic reputation based on satirical characters, including Borat Sagdiyev and Ali G, who elicit candid and often cringeworthy responses from people who don’t suspect the ploy.
The sexual misconduct allegations against Moore cropped up in 2017 during his U.S. Senate run, with accusations that he had pursued teenagers.
In 2018, Baron Cohen interviewed Moore for “Who Is America?”, a Showtime satire series that was new at the time. Wearing a disguise, Baron Cohen said he had a device that identified pedophiles, which then beeped when he held it next to Moore. The Republican from Alabama then cut off the interview, saying: “I support Israel. I don’t support this kind of stuff.”
Moore sued Baron Cohen, along with Showtime and CBS, in 2018, seeking $95 million in damages. Klayman did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Tuesday’s decision.
Moore was the surprise nominee in the race to fill Karen Sessions seat. He left the senate to become the ill-fated Attorney General for Washed Up 45. Moore beat Karen Strange in a Republican primary and was backed by the former president.
Allegations of sexual assault and pedophila came to question when seven women accused Moore of grooming them and sleeping with them when they were underage. Moore denied the allegations.
Moore's wife is 15 years younger than him.
Anyway, former federal prosecutor Doug Jones would end up winning the seat and serve the senate for two years. The senator was defeated thanks to the far-left's sloganning. He lost to a white nationalist named Karen Tuberville.
Tuberville beat Moore and Sessions in the Republican primary. Tuberville is a conspiracy theorist who used to be head football coach at Auburn University, the University of Cincinnati and local sports teams.
He supported the insurrection to overthrow democracy. Don't be surprised that Baron Cohen will find a way to expose these Republican idiots.

If you're thinking about the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich becoming one of the hottest items of a decade, wait til they rollout their chicken nuggets.
On July 27, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen will introduce their nuggets to the menu and we will expect a lot of chaos with customers trying to get a hold of these tasty items.
The addition of the white meat chicken nuggets, with options ranging from 4 piece to 36 pieces.
The fast food giant is hopeful this launch will match the reception that greeted its fried chicken sandwich back in August of 2019.
That menu item sparked the now famous chicken sandwich war across the industry, with McDonald's, Wendy's, Shake Shack, and KFC and others all joining the battle. Both Wendy's and McDonald's have also launched their own spicy version of the menu item.
"We think we did it again with chicken nuggets," the company boasted in a statement. "We have invested the time to perfect a product that leverages our classic techniques and Louisiana flavors that will change how people think about and experience Chicken Nuggets," Popeye's added.
The chicken is marinated for at least 12 hours, hand battered and bread, then slow cooked "to perfection" with a special frying process, Popeye's added.
According to Sean Dunlop, Morningstar Equity analyst, customers returned to "familiar favorites" during the pandemic, leaning into comfort food like fried chicken sandwiches, steak and pizza.
As a result, "larger, trust companies with robust digital capabilities" got a boost as consumers sought out value-oriented and affordable options, Dunlop told Yahoo Finance in an email. However, chicken nuggets in particular are popular for a couple of reasons.
"As chicken consumption continues to increase in the U.S. and globally, they bolster a platform that figures to become increasingly prevalent over the next few years, especially given relatively low production costs and their ability to cater to a global palette," Dunlop added.
With chains like KFC — which has over 25,000 locations — having a global presence "big burger chains have been hard at work to bolster their chicken platforms, with the success of concepts like Chick-Fil-A and Popeyes serving as one catalyst to drive development in the space," the analyst added.
The launch of the Popeyes chicken sandwich back in 2019 "opened a lot of eyes with respect to the category's strategic importance," Dunlop explained.
Shares of Popeye's parent company Restaurant Brands International are up 16.7% compared to a year ago, while shares are up a little over 5% year to date.

She declined the offer to North Carolina and took the opportunity to go to Howard University.
West is a controversial figure. He is an anti-Obama and anti-Biden agitator on the left. He graduated from Harvard and earned a PhD in philosophy from Princeton University, and he has taught at Harvard, Princeton, Yale College, and the Union Theological Seminary over the years. This would be the second departure from Harvard. The last time he got into a feud with Larry Summers, then president of Harvard and later Obama appointed official.

We just learn that actor and director Charles Robinson passed away. He is best known for playing Mac Robinson in the NBC sitcom Night Court.
Charles who also went by the name of Charlie was the level-headed sweater vest court clerk Macintosh Robinson on the 1980s sitcom. His job as the court clerk who had to keep easy-going Judge Harry Stone, kind hearted but dim Nostradamus "Bull" Shannon and sex-obsessed Dan Fielding (Reinhold D. Felding Elmore) under control.
Born in Houston, Texas, Robinson performed since the 1960s, having been a member of the Actors Studio and considered by playwright Lyle Kessler to be "one of the great American Actors."
Night Court was a staple of primetime hits in the 1980s and 1990s. Charlie Robinson and the cast of the Night Court entertained millions on NBC.
Born in Houston, Robinson began his career as a theater actor and singer for R&B groups Archie Bell and the Drells and Southern Clouds of Joy. In the late 1960s, Charlie attended Chris Wilson's acting school, Studio 7, at the Houston Music Theatre. He soon moved to Hollywood and began acting for the screen.
In the 1970s, Robinson acted in films such as Sugar Hill, The Black Gestapo, Caribe, A Killing Affair and The White Shadow. In his later career, he appeared in "Beowulf, Malevolence, Land of the Free and Mercy Street. He directed three episodes of Night Court and one episode of Love & War.
Robinson won awards for his theatrical work, including the Image Theatre Award and FRED Award for portraying Simon in The Whipping Man and Best Actor Ovation Award for playing Troy in Fences. His last performance was as 82-year-old Donald Jones in James Tyler's Some Old Black Man.
Robinson has appeared in numerous sitcoms and television programs post Night Court. He has appeared on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The Game, Mom, Buffalo Bill and 30 Rock.
Among the actors who paid tribute to Robinson was "The Wire" star Wendell Pierce, who spent time with Robinson in recent months. "We created a lifetime of friendship" after 27 days of quarantine together, Pierce wrote on Twitter.
Robinson is survived by his wife Dolorita; his children Luca, Charlie, Christian and Byron; and his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law and dog Nala.
