Harris is part African American, Indian American and Hispanic. She could be the first Black woman to become President of the United States.
Harris is a Senator who has only two years under belt is already being attack by conservatives as being inexperienced.

"The University of Oklahoma abhors such conduct and condemns the students’ actions and behavior in the strongest terms possible. While students have the freedom of expression, the negative impact of such conduct cannot be underestimated. The students have offered to apologize in order to reflect their regret."

The Covington Catholic High school is doing damage control after a video surfaced of its students harassing a man protesting at the Indigenous People's March. The protesters were at the March for Life event where Mike Pence made remarks and Donald J. Trump made a video message.
The teens were literally making "pow-wow" sounds and openly mocking the protesters by chanting, "build that wall."
One of the teens was wearing a Make America Great Again hat was smirking at Elder Nathan Phillips. The teens treated the Native American protesters like they were immigrants.
This has become a huge black eye to the Archdiocese of Covington and Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The Catholic church has often try to relate to a lot of Americans who are non-religious. Unfortunately this event has made it even harder for Americans to embrace Catholicism.

There are western-born members of the Islamic State. They leave their normal lives to take up fighting for the violent terrorist group. The United States and many UN-member nations declare the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant as a jihadist militant group.
Somehow, I must have missed this. A year ago, the German rapper turned Islamic State spokesman Denis Cuspert was killed in an apparent drone strike.
There were videos showing the lifeless body of the 42-year old rapper. He left Germany and the hip-hop community to join the Syrian Civil War. He became a loyal supporter of the Salafi doctrine of Sunni Islam.
He changed his name to Abu Talha al-Almani and stood firm in the fight against western forces.
The United States Department of State had added Cuspert to its list of Specially Designated Global Terrorist who are to be red flagged upon entry to other countries.
One year ago to this day, the Islamic State's Wafa Media reported that Cuspert was killed during clashes in Gharanij. However, it seems like an American drone strike killed him.
Born in Germany, Cuspert spoke German, English and Arabic. He was affiliated with DMX and had rapped on tour.
When he was in Syria, he would be seen often narrating videos in German and English.
He survived the first airstrike. He was wounded during fighting in Azaz. He would also survived an airstrike in Raqqa.
This time, he wasn't so lucky. He died in city of Gharanij in the Deir ez-Zor province.
I remember Cuspert wooed an American woman into sex. This American woman was an operative for the FBI. She was in love with Cuspert and he made her look foolish. Daniela Greene was sent to track him down.
She would end up communicating with him and finding his story interesting. She would marry Cuspert and try to enlist in the Islamic State. After a few months in the Islamic State, Greene found it to be too extreme.
She would end up exiting the group. She found the U.S. Consulate and confess to her joining the Islamic State. She served two years in federal time out before she was released. Greene had stayed low since her release.
Again, Mitch McConnell is the Majority Leader of the Senate. He is the leader of the Senate and he represents the state (commonwealth) of Kentucky. He along with Rand Paul are the two roadblocks to opening the U.S. government.

Tom Marino decided to pack it up. The four term lawmaker decided to quit to return to private sector.
That puts his seat up for a special election and a political fight.

Marino's resignation is effective January 23, 2019. After Pennsylvania's congressional districts were redrawn in 2018, he won re-election with 66% of his district's votes, defeating Democrat Marc Friedenberg.
Marino described his decision to resign as follows: "Having spent over two decades serving the public, I have chosen to take a position in the private sector where I can use both my legal and business experience to create jobs around the nation."
Marino's resignation requires a special election by Gov. Tom Wolf, who must issue a writ of election within 10 days of Marino's resignation becoming effective on January 23, 2019. Per Pennsylvania law, a special election must then occur no fewer than 60 days following the gubernatorial proclamation being made.
He was an early Trump supporter among congressional Republicans. He was nominated to be the president's Drug Czar but withdrew after a joint CBS "60 Minutes" and Washington Post report revealed he took nearly $100,000 from pharmaceutical lobbyists.
Dirty cop who killed Laquan McDonald is going to the iron college.
Jason Van Dyke was sent to the iron college for 81 months (about seven years) in the iron college for the 2014 murder of an unarmed suspect. The Chicago Police managed to cover up this act by saying the ad nauseam excuse, "He feared for his life."
The judge sentenced the 40 year old former cop today. He was convicted of second-degree murder.
He killed Laquan McDonald in October 2014. Van Dyke, a white officer, was handed his sentence about three months after he was convicted of multiple charges for fatally shooting McDonald, a black 17 year old holding a knife. His sentence was handed down only a day after the court acquitted three Chicago cops of covering up the incident.
It was going to be swept under rug.
Many believe the story that McDonald was the aggressor.
It turns out that a video showed a different outcome. Van Dyke shot McDonald 16 times after witnessing the disoriented teen walk in the middle of the street.
Van Dyke was arrested and charged the day of the video's release. He testified in court that he feared for his life when approaching McDonald and Van Dyke's attorneys argued that if he would have dropped his knife, he would be alive today. He had been the first Chicago police officer to be charged with first-degree murder since 1980.

McDonald had PCP in his blood and was not in his mind.
The shooting had results. Cook County prosecutor Anita Alverez was defeated. The Chicago police commissioner at the time, Garry McCarthy was fired out the cannon. Chicago's embattled mayor Rahm Emanuel decided to not run for reelection. He lost confidence in the community and now there's a race to replace him.
Laquan McDonald is one of many incidents where Chicago Police managed to abuse their power when it come to the rights of people of color.

The Sony Music Group has decided to dissolve its ties to Robert Sylvester Kelly. You may know him as R. Kelly.
RCA Records which was home to R. Kelly's catalog of music will still remain with Sony. However, his album was shelved and he has no plans on how to push his music to the masses without a label.
The move comes after years of public calls and even a petition from members of the #MuteRKelly movement, for the company to part ways with the troubled entertainer.
Multiple women have accused R. Kelly of sexual misconduct. The blockbuster documentary Surviving R. Kelly has got so much attention. Over 40 million people watched this. This documentary has gotten the federal and state authorities to investigate allegations.
The allegations go back for 20 years. Most infamously, the entertainer was charged with child pornography in 2000 after a video surfaced that purported to show him having sex with an underage girl. Kelly was cleared of the charges in 2008 after the key witness declined to testify against him.
He also had a brief marriage with Aaliyah. The late singer who was at 15 at the time married R. Kelly. The allegations that he forged Aaliyah's birth date on the marriage license are true. Some of R. Kelly's former allies said that Aaliyah and R. Kelly had sex together.
Kelly essentially holding women captive in a "sex cult" were published back in 2017. That launched the movement to take him down.
Many rappers and pop singers are distancing themselves from him.
R. Kelly continues to deny allegations. He said that its a smear campaign and threatened to sue those who make false allegations against him.
