The sidekick of sidekicks. The guy who makes 'em smile. The guy who helped the great Dean Martin through his comedy show has passed away.
Jerry Lewis passed away at the age of 91. He died early Sunday morning his family confirmed.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Joseph Levitch was a well known in the slapstick. He was a solo of his own right and left the crowds laughing.
"Famed comedian, actor and legendary entertainer Jerry Lewis passed away peacefully today of natural causes at 91 at his home in Las Vegas with his family by his side," the Lewis family said in a statement.
You know that Jerry Lewis was best for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethons, his acclaimed roles in The Nutter Professor, The Pasty and The Bellboy and his kind heart to the children.
He was a part of a comedic duo with Martin. They had met at the Atlantic City 500 Club on July 25, 1946 and hit it off. The team lasted for 10 years to the day.
Martin and Lewis were the comedy duo.
They were the hottest act in America and as well as the highest paid duo in the country.
They had a fallout in the late 1950s. Dean got tired of being typecasted as a "player."
The Martin and Lewis act came to end when Dean was getting upstaged by Jerry. The last straw came when Dean and Jerry got together for a Look Magazine cover and Dean was cropped out.
They got into a huge argument and vowed to never work with one another ever again.
They would stay distant for 20 years. It took Frank Sinatra to introduce Dean for the Labor Day MDA in 1976.

It actually brought a tear to my eye. Because Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were the team. They had people rolling out their seats with their act.
When the two reconciled, they stayed close for the most part until Dean's death.
Until the 2010, Jerry hosted the MDA Telethon. He was hosting the show for 21 1/2 hours. It started on Sunday at 12 pm and ended at 6:30 pm on Labor Day.

Born Richard Claxton Gregory, he was born in St. Louis. He was raised by a single mother. In order to support the family, he would do odd jobs and errands to make ends meet. He leaves behind a his wife Lillian and his ten children.
He was an avid track runner and served in the U.S. Army when he was drafted.
Gregory used the power of comedy to help get the message out social injustice.
A man who was strong on words and proud to be unapologetic when it came to issues in the Black community.
He began his stand up comedy in the 1960s. He performed in front of large white audiences and got his break performing on Jack Paar. Darryl Littleton, author of the bookBlack Comedians on Black Comedy, told NPR in 2009 that Gregory broke barriers with his appearances on television, just by sitting down:
"Dick Gregory is the first to recognized — and he'll say it — the first black comedian to be able to stand flat-footed, and just delivered comedy. You had other comedians back then but they always had to do a little song or a dance or whatever, Sammy Davis had to dance and sing, and then tell jokes. Same with Pearl Bailey and some of the other comedians. But Dick Gregory was able to grow on television, sit down on the Jack Paar show — and sit on the couch and actually have a discussion, and that it never happened in the history of television."
According to NBC News, he was suffering from a bacterial infection and succumbed to the illness on Saturday.
Gregory had called the U.S., the most racist nation on the planet and made his opinion very clear in public.
He had ran for mayor in Chicago and a run for president under the Freedom and Peace Party. He was on the ballot in eight states.
Celebrities and politicians have expressed condolences to his family.

According to the Washington Post: "He built his career on the systematic oppression of blacks and Native Americans, becoming one of the country’s most influential white supremacists. For more than three decades, from 1912 until 1946, Walter Ashby Plecker used his position as head of Virginia’s Bureau of Vital Statistics to champion policies designed to protect what he considered a master white race. He was the father of the state’s Racial Integrity Act of 1924, which designated every person in the state as either white or “colored” and criminalized interracial marriage. Plecker insisted that any person with a single drop of “Negro” blood couldn’t be classified as white, and he refused to even acknowledge that Native Americans existed in the commonwealth, effectively erasing their legal identities." He also tried to destroy the Melungeon people as well because he consider them as threats similar to the rhetoric of many Republicans used toward Black and Brown folks as well as Muslims, atheists, and other non-Christian groups in recent times. His racist legacy did not die in 1947, it was taken up by race-baiting politicians such as Strom Thurmond, Richard "Law and Order" Nixon, Jesse Helms, Steve Scalese, David Duke, Steve King, and of course, Donald. This deprived mixed-race people of recognition of their identity and it also contributed to a binary culture of hypodescent, in which mixed-race persons were often classified as part of the group with lower social status.[5] Not until the 21st century did the federal census allow individuals to indicate more than one race or ethnic group in self-identification."
In other words, he's the father of racial profiling. In fact, modern-day racial profiling originated with Plecker. Whether we hear about police profiling, medical DNA, employment/education/housing discrimination, racial gerrymandering, voter suppression, etc., that deplorable racist was the originator.
He told the white mother regarding her newborn child. What he told her was hateful and dehumanizing:
"This is to give you warning that this is a mulatto child and you cannot pass it off as white. A new law passed by the last legislature says that if a child has one drop of negro blood in it, it cannot be counted as white. You will have to do something about this matter and see that the child is not allowed to mix with white children, it cannot go to white schools and can never marry a white person in Virginia.
It is an awful thing."

Four women plotted murder on a trick. They killed a man who tried to help change their tire.
A Charleston, Missouri man tried to be a "good samaritan" with four women who dance for a living.
Turns out his good deed went punished. Four women named Brittany Curry, Ponesha Taylor, Johniesha Simmons and Lauteshia Dotson were charged with first-degree murder. Their victim Ralph Cross was found dead after the Mississippi County Boys found him dead inside his home.
Cross was shot in the back.
Witnesses said that Cross and the suspects were inside his home. Allegedly, Cross offered to help the women. He bought them a new tire and invited them back to his home where they stayed until his body was discovered a few days later.
A witness told authorities that Cross was arguing with three of the women while the fourth woman sat inside a car parked outside.
The witness saw the three women hurry outside the man's home.
Woman bucks a man who helped them in more ways than one.
One of the women fingered Curry as the ringleader. This was a botched robbery.
Authorities said that the women were working the Backpage and were "honey traps."
The women turned themselves in at the Mississippi County Lockup earlier this month.
All women are being held without a get out of free card. They could face LIFE in the iron college if they are convicted. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Cross was a good guy said the family in press release. The people are going to recognize him for the good deeds he's done for the community. He would help give children back to school supplies.

Heyer was the protester killed last Saturday in Charlottesville by a terrorist who drove his Dodge Challenger into a crowd of anti-racist protesters.
Trump saw his political fortunes crash. CEOs fled Trump after the presser. He disbanded the White House business councils. The entire membership of the Committee on the Arts and Humanities quit on him. Charities pulled the plug on events at the White House.
Republican senators demand Trump tone it down on social media. None of this is stopping Trump.
White extremists are so pleased with the way things are going. Now white extremists are planning more rallies in Boston, Gainesville, Georgia.
The wounds are still fresh as Trump failed to soothe a nation reeling.
White extremists crashed the University of Virginia and downtown Charlottesville. The city is dealing with the damages caused by the unrest.
This unrest was sparked by the removal of the Robert E. Lee statue.
The independent city wants the statue removed by the end of the month.
In the words of Heather Heyer, "If You're Not Outraged, You're Not Paying Attention."
The statue of Roger Taney was removed in Annapolis. The former Supreme Court chief justice who ruled on the infamous Dred scott case was removed from the state grounds.
The city of Lexington and Fayette County, Kentucky is going to remove statues from the public square.
In Franklin, Ohio, the city removed a marker dedicated to Robert E. Lee.
In Baltimore, the city quietly removed Confederate memorials from the area.
There are calls to remove Jefferson Davis' namesake off US Highway 1 in Virginia.
Even calls to remove the namesake of Robert Byrd is happening in West Virginia.
Might as well throw in Jesse Helms, Strom Thurmond, Zell Miller, J. Edgar Hoover and others. Their names were embolden in statues and memorials.
This is bigger than I've thought.

Now if I wanted to paint with a broad brush, I would say that conservatism is dosed in the fluids of stubborness, greed, hate, sexism, bigotry, xenophobia, Islamophobia, homophobia, anti-semitism, nationalism, climate denial, whataboutism and deflection.
What conservatives pull out their asses is usually a word vomit of twisted hsistory and repackaged facts. They throw in a few Black conservatives followers to defend white extremism.
I get annoyed by this nonsense.
When they say the Democratic Party of today being the party of racism, I look at the national party's nomination of the first African American president. I look at the first African American woman to run for the nomination. I look at the first woman to earn the nomination. I look at the first Muslim elected to the House of Representatives. I look at the first woman to hold the title of Speaker of the House. I look at the party to have two Blackmembers in the current Senate. I look at the first Asian American woman who is a double amputee to be a senator. I see the Democratic Party as the party of progress.
The party that supports the environment. The party that supports the rights of Muslims, LGBT and immigrants. What Steve Bannon calls identity politics.
Barack Obama is the first African American to be the President of the United States. He was elected as a Democrat. The Democratic Party broke the color barrier by electing him.
What makes me more likely to endorse the Democrats I'd the very fact they are for progress. Hence the term progressive.
They want to eliminate white supremacy. The very fact that conservatives are livid over the removal of Confederate monuments and statues is probably why Blacks support the Democrats over the Republicans.
Republicans want to keep these things up in the public square. Their presence in the public arena demonstrates the hatred of the past century. The Republicans continue to preserve it.
However, when it comes to Black issues, they're still slow on this. To Democrats, Black issues are the third rail to losing an election. Out of political phobias, the Democrats don't want to be seen as the party that caters to Black grievance.
When Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Act, it marked the end of the Democratic Party's dominance in South.
Bill Clinton was the last Southern to be elected as a Democrat. He was the last president to ever carry the South. Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton could not win the South. Now the Democrats are at risk of loosing the Midwest.
When Trump won Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and Iowa, it made me think that the White Democrats abandoned the party because they perceived the notion that Obama only did things for Blacks.
The Blacks who voted for Trump also claim that Obama didn't do enough.
Regardless of their concerns, the Republicans and especially conservatives spewed this nonsense to the junk food media.
These are not Democrats. These are Republicans and supporters of White extremism.
When Barack Obama came into power we heard the distractions. Conservatives were dogging on the Obama years by pointing out gun violence in urban cities.
Conservatives trolled Obama when he addressed concerns in the Black community. His 2008 speech A More Perfect Union, My Brother's Keeper, Jumpstart, his criminal justice reform policies and reaction to high profile events that dealt with Black frustration. It was criticized. The militant Blacks like Cornel West and Tavis Smiley were complaining that Obama is too cozy to Whites and has done nothing for the Blacks. The coon trolls Larry Elder, Jesse Lee Peterson, Kevin Jackson and David Clarke were calling Obama's outreach to the Black community racist.
White conservative agitators would blow the whistle when it dealt with Obama and the Black community. Even the inept leader Donald J. Trump managed to blow the whistle when it comes to issues.
Conservatives often marginalized Black grievance with racism. They believe that Black Lives Matter is a racist group that kills cops.
The conservatives marginalize Black lawmakers, activists and celebrities as a threat.
When conservatives point out the history of the Democratic Party, they often compare the old style Democrats to their predecessors of the modern times.
Neo Nazi leader Matt Heimbach is a Republican. He was a former Republican delegate who became the founder of the white extremist Traditionist Youth Movement.
The Democratic Party has move to the center-left after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 law passed. The Democratic Party is the coalition of minorities, college youth, women and progressives.
In this political football for the Black vote, these conservatives resort to the past to court the vote. I hear about the Democrats refusing to get behind the Civil Rights Act.
Well if you grew up in the 1820s to the 1960s, Southern Democrats were extremely conservative and racist. They sparked from the tarnished legacy of Andrew Jackson.
Jackson was a conservative leader who spread hate throughout his terms.
Know that racist and conservatism is one in the same.
In the wake of Charlottesville, many activists are calling upon local and state leaders to remove Confederate statues and monuments.

To be honest, don't take conservatives seriously when it comes to being champions against racism.

Bannon reportedly blasted the inept leader's handling of the economy and North Korea. He said if he turns his back on the base, he's doomed for 2020.
Bannon submitted his resignation in early August.
Bannon who talked to The American Prospect before his resignation told the publication that he's in high spirits. He said that issues in the world like North Korea leaves the world at risk of a nuclear war.
This one was just as hard as the Lazy Boy cover.
"In Kim [Jong-un], Trump has met his match. The risk of two arrogant fools blundering into a nuclear exchange is more serious than any time since October 1962," said Bannon.

Bannon said that the Democrats could lose the 2018 Midterms because of their obsession with "identity politics."
"The Democrats [will fail in defeating Trump]. The longer they talk about identity politics, I got 'em. I want them to talk about racism every day. If the left is focused on race and identity,and we go with economic nationalism, we can crush the Democrats."
Breitbart might turn on Trump and Republicans.
This interview was unauthorized and it made Trump furious. Bannon was stripped of his national security clearance when H.R. McMaster came into the play. McMaster replaced Bannon's ally Michael Flynn. McMaster didn't trust him, Steven Miller and Sebastian Gorka.
McMaster was a subject of attacks from Breitbart and conservative agitators. They attacked him for being a leaker. They claimed he undermined Trump and his allies.
Bannon gave the word to go after him.
Bannon was then the CEO and editor-in-chief of Breitbart. The website dubbed itself the voice of the "alt-right." The website appeals to white extremists. Its former contributor Milo Yiannopoulos took over when Bannon accepted a role in the White House. Under Bannon and Yiannopoulos, the website took a turn to the white.

Bannon also hosted Breitbart News on SiriusXM. He resigned in June 2016 to help Trump win his election.
Kookspiracy nut Mike Cernovich warns Trump that the "fires of hell" will be released upon him if Bannon was fired out the cannon.
"If they get rid of Bannon, you know what's gonna happen? The motherlode. If Bannon is removed, there are gonna be divorces, because I know about the mistresses, the sugar babies, the drugs, the pill popping, the orgies, I know everything," said Cernovich. "If they go after Bannon, the mother of all stories is gonna drop, and we're just gonna destroy marriages, relationships, [careers] --it's gonna get personal."
The inept leader Donald J. Trump continues to dig his own grave with the public's negative perception of him.

So what do conservatives do when their own are facing controversy. They resort to whataboutism and deflection. They target a long term lawmaker from the Los Angeles area. They attack the lawmaker because she stands up for people of color.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) is one of the toughest women in Congress. She keeps on hammering and people are loving it.
She is straight up when she says she hates Donald J. Trump. She will be the first one to draft the Articles of Impeachment.
It's also said that she is a prominent voice in the Black Lives Matter movement and its driving conservatives crazy.
White conservatives like Bill O'Reilly made offensive comments about her. He once compared her to James Brown with the wig that she is wearing. That was the beginning of the end when women came forth to accuse the agitator of sexual harassment. O'Reilly now is a washed up celebrity who does YouTube videos and guest appearances on The Blaze and Newsmax TV.
Now conservatives are trying to gather up tokens to bash Waters for being outspoken and a hero to progressives.
So far the coons are lining up for a twirl a whirl of dissing Auntie Maxine.
Larry Elder, Kevin Jackson, Jesse Lee Peterson, Darrell Scott, Deneen Borelli, David Clarke, CL Bryant, Diamond and Silk all took turns bashing Waters.

I am still pissed over the fact that Trump stood there telling the world that "both sides" does that. Tell that to the young woman's family. She didn't attack the White extremists. The name of Heather Heyer will ring this month. Her name will dismiss the hatred of White extremism.

Marlon Wayans premieres his show Marlon with actress Essence Atkins.
NBC's Wednesday nights this summer got a little bit funnier. Marlon Wayans and Essence Atkins star in the sitcom Marlon and it's a summer premiere for the network.
Marlon comes from a talented family. He is the brother of Keenan Ivory Wayans, Damon Wayans, Kim Wayans, Elvira Wayans, Nadia Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Diedre Wayans, and Dwayne Wayans. He is the uncle of Damon Wayans, Jr.
The show premiere is getting strong fanfare.
It stars Marlon as Marlon Wayne, a divorcee who is trying to stay available to his children. Atkins plays Ashley, his ex-wife who is frequently annoyed by Marlon's antics. The cast includes Notlim Taylor, Amir O'Neil, Bresha Webb and Diallo Riddle.
The show is semi-biographical and deals with Marlon's life as a father, entertainer and trendsetter.
"I wanted to be a show where I could be me," he said. "I think it's a different kind of TV dad, and it's a different kind of TV family and Marlon has kind of different approach to things."
Essence Atkins is familiar to television. She starred in the ABC/WB series Smart Guy, UPN's Half & Half and TBS's Are We There Yet?

Strange was appointed the seat by Gov. Kay Ivey. Strange who is embattled got an endorsement from Donald J. Trump. Strange is a friend of Robert Bentley, the disgraced Alabama governor who had an affair with a female top staffer. He was forced to resign after he was indicted on criminal charges.
Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL) and Roy Moore face off in a run-off. Strange is embattled because the far right believes he's too soft. Moore a Christian white extremist vows to defeat Strange and those who oppose his campaign.
Moore is controversial figure. He was then a Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. He became infamous for ruling against the removal of the Ten Commandments outside the Alabama Judicial Building in Montgomery. He was properly removed from office and stayed out the limelight until he won in 2013 for the same position. In 2015, he was barred and stripped of his gavel when he refused to follow a Supreme Court order to issue same-sex marriage certificates. He resigned from the Alabama Supreme Court to run for the senate.
Brooks who had the backing of Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin and Sean "Softball" Hannity failed to muster enough votes. Many Republicans claim that Brooks earlier attacks on Trump when he was then candidate damaged his chances. Alabama went to Trump in the primary heavily.
Brooks supported Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his failed bid for president.
Books had openly called for Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to be removed from the position as Majority Leader. Brooks is determined to get the Affordable Care Act repealed. He supported the House version of the healthcare replacement.

It's a non-profit organization founded in 2011 by Christian Picciolini, a former Neo-Nazi. The mission of this group is to help people leave hate groups and prevent potential terrorist violence.

Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX), Rep. Mia Love (R-UT) and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) are the only members of color inside the Republican Party. They have denounced the White extremists. They felt that Trump's "both sides" remark isn't helpful.
"We are Americans from all walks of life, working towards the American dream. Nowhere in that dream is there room for racism," said Scott.
"I believe he should apologize for placing the blame on 'both sides,'" said Hurd. "Racism, bigotry, anti-Semitism of any form is unacceptable, and the leader of the free world should be unambiguous about that."

Conservatives annoy me with two things. What bothers me about the whole ordeal is the fact they continue to push whataboutism and revisionist history to defend the indefensible.
What about the alt-left? This is a talking point Trump used during his presser to denounce his tepid responses to the attacks.
Democrats are the party of the Klan. This talking point burns me up. The Democratic Party nominated Barack Obama twice. Obama is the first Black president and Hillary Clinton was the first woman to be a nominee for a national party.
Obama is called a racist by actual racists. The conservatives would tout this notion that opposing racism is racist. That's why Black Lives Matter is prominent. Conservatives continue to discount Blacks and Latinos fed up with a system that protects white supremacy.
Mind you that Republicans are embracing this white extremism. They are the party that is 90% WHITE and 10% EVERYTHING else.
