A self-proclaimed skinhead was knocked unconscious by a black man after threatening to stab him last weekend in Bayview, Idaho, officials said Friday.

Daren Abbey, 28, was arrested on a malicious harassment charge after being treated at a hospital for facial fractures.

Abbey reportedly threatened to to stab Marlon Baker inside J.D.'s Resort on July 3 in Bayview after telling Baker he didn't belong in the bar because he was black.

Baker then left the bar to avoid a fight, but police say Abbey followed him to a marina about 300 yards away, called him racial slurs and again threatened to stab him.

Baker punched Abbey once in the face, knocking him to the ground unconscious.

Lt. Stu Miller said Baker acted in self-defense: "He felt threatened - there was an actual threat that was made that he was going to get stabbed."

Abbey told authorities that he is living as a transient in the Coeur d'Alene area after moving from Montana; he remains in jail on $75,000 bond for felony charges of malicious harassment and battery.

The Associated Press: Monaco's bride seeking to make her own mark: "Monaco's bride seeking to make her own mark

MONACO (AP) — Charlene Wittstock has not one, but two tough acts to follow.
As the future princess of Monaco and wife to longtime bachelor Prince Albert II, the Zimbabwe-born, South Africa-raised former Olympic swimmer is to succeed Grace Kelly, whose 1956 wedding to Prince Rainier III is still widely seen as the gold standard for royal nuptials.
And as if the blue-eyed Hollywood beauty-turned-beloved princess didn't cast a long enough shadow, Albert's long-awaited marriage to Wittstock comes on the heels of the royal wedding of the decade, Kate Middleton's union with Britain's Prince William."
