Conservative Outage Over Queen Bey's Superbowl Performance!

The conservatives are outraged over Beyonce's performance with Bruno Mars and Coldplay.

Congratulations to the Denver Broncos on winning Superbowl L. This would be Peyton Manning's second victory with two NFL teams. The Broncos managed to keep favorite Carolina Panthers stalled throughout the game. The Broncos won 23 -10.

At 39 years old, Peyton comes off the victor against Carolina Panthers MVP Cam Newton. Cam was totally pissed that his team lost and I don't blame him.

The game was watched on CBS. It was watched by over 112 million.

Pepsi and the NFL hosted Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Beyonce for the Halftime show acts.

The final performance from Beyonce managed to attract the most attention. Her song Formation was much talked about over the weekend. Did the song have a message that pissed off conservatives?

Conservative outrage over the performance. The political statement she made showed support for #BlackLivesMatter and the Black Panthers.

Conservatives are saying that the music video is anti-cop. The Halftime performance was racist.

Where does President Barack Obama fit in?

I can picture the concern trolls saying, "Oh, Barack Obama had invited her and her crack dealer husband Jay-Z to the White House. They were plotting this music video to make note that White people are racist."

So I'm guessing that annoying conservative agitator Sean Hannity, that old fart Limbaugh and many other agitators in the conservative media will bitch about it.

The concern trolls are saying that Queen Bey was being anti-cop. The music video released also had mentions of Hurricane Katrina, the controversial shootings of police officers and the usage of NEGRO.
Queen of Everything.
The music video of the tune pays homage to, among other things, those killed in New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Many are calling the song and her performance a black power anthem in part because the video features a spray painted wall reading “stop shooting us” in reference to the numerous cases of police brutality on people of color.

The performance, Sunday featured a chorus of African American dancers with berets that were reminiscent of the Black Panther Party which was founded 50 years prior in Oakland, just over the Bay from the Super Bowl. Before the performance, some of the dancers took a photo with fists raised, holding a sign that read “Justice for Mario Woods.” Woods was a young black man with a knife who was surrounded by police and shot.

Tidal, the music streaming service owned by owned by Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z announced last week that they would be donating $1.5 million to the Black Lives Matter movement among other groups that fight for civil rights.

Jada Pinkett Smith Leads The #OscarsSoWhite Boycott!

Jada Pinkett Smith went to social media to protest the Oscars. Will Smith hasn't commented on his wife's decision to boycott the ceremony.

Entertainer Jada Pinkett Smith, had call upon Black entertainers in Hollywood to do a boycott of the Oscars in February. It's sparked by the anger of many who believe the Oscars deliberately snubbed Black and Hispanic actors and actresses.

On her official social media pages, Pinkett Smith remarks about the Oscars once again leaving talent of color off the table. She also said that she asks entertainers who are upset over the situation to join her in the boycott.

On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Pinkett Smith decided the time is now to address this.

She went to her social network to make a video to address her frustrations.

We must stand in our power! We must stand in our power.
Posted by Jada Pinkett Smith on Monday, January 18, 2016

"Today is Martin Luther King's birthday, and I can't help but ask the question: Is it time that people of color recognize how much power, influence, that we have amassed, that we no longer need to ask to be invited anywhere?" Pinkett Smith said on her video.

She added, "Begging for acknowledgement, or even asking, diminishes dignity and diminishes power. And we are a dignified people, and we are powerful. So let's let the Academy do them, with all grace and love. And let's do us, differently".
Janet Hubert took to social media to slam on Jada Pinkett Smith's boycott. Hubert blames Will Smith for her being fired out the cannon from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She's hasn't done much since and she faults him.
One person isn't supporting Jada's boycotts is Janet Hubert. Hubert was the original "Aunt Vivian" on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. She took to social media to slam her down.

Hubert took a shot at her husband, entertainer Will Smith for not being nominated in the movie Concussion.

"First of all, Miss Thing, does your man not have a mouth of his own with which to speak?" Hubert said in a video message. "Second thing is, girlfriend, there's a lot of s—t going on in the world that you all don't seem to recognize. People are dying, our boys are being shot left and right, people are hungry, people are trying to pay bills, and you're talking about some…actors and Oscars. It just ain't that deep." Hubert said that the Smiths are asking people to jeopardize their careers, and she finds it "ironic" that Pinkett Smith has made "millions and millions of dollars from the very people that you're talking about boycotting."

Hubert was fired out the cannon after she got into confrontations with Will Smith and Alfanso Ribeiro, the show's breakout stars.

To this day, Hubert is blackballed from Hollywood and she blames Smith for her shortcomings.

Hubert is often criticized by her former castmates as being a "drama queen". Hubert says that Will Smith is an ego-driven asshole who throws temper tantrums when he can't get his way.
Jada Pinkett Smith got a friend in Spike Lee.
Jada got one supporter. Filmmaker Spike Lee decided to join her boycott. After his controversial movie Chiraq got snubbed, Spike Lee decided to make it clear that he's not attending or watching the Oscars as well.

"We cannot support it and I mean no disrespect.... But, how is it possible for the second consecutive year all 20 contenders under the acting category are white? And let's not even get into the other branches, said Spike Lee.

The Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts & Sciences president is Cheryl Isaacs Boone. She is a woman of color herself. Boone is truly disappointed that Black entertainers are upset. She said that she promises that she'll get to the bottom of this.

The members of a nearly 7,000 voting committee are mostly White, older, male and pretty much out of touch with the movie trends.

Reminds me of those conservative agitators Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and Bill O'Reilly. They're old, white, and out of touch with reality.

Jada also blessed her friend Chris Rock on a great performance. She hopes him the best but she said that she'll sit this one out.

By the way Chris Rock went to social media to address this.

Any thoughts?

Conservative Outrage Over Macy Gray's Trump Dig!

Macy Gray releases a politically charged holiday song. It dings Donald Trump.

Macy Gray released "All I Want for Christmas" on iTunes this month. The song is pretty awesome if you're a progressive and want Congress to get President Barack Obama's agenda done.

The song pretty much takes a stance on issues that are considered hot potatoes in the junk food media. Cue the conservative outrage.

Here's the lyrics. Read it carefully and then peep the commentary below.

[Verse 1]
All I want for Christmas is a whole bunch of stuff
But anything that you can buy me won’t be enough
Because everything I’m hoping for is intangible
Like free health care and gun control

[Pre-Chorus]
If you wanna make the world a better place
Say alright (alright) alright (alright)
If you wanna peaceful world for Christmas day
Say alright (alright) alright (alright)

[Chorus]
Christmas is here
I know what I want this year
Presents and toys are fine
But I got bigger things in mind
Santa can you swing more love? More peace?
Because that’s what everybody needs
Come save the world with me

[Verse 2]
Santa Claus stop by the ghetto too
And bring lots of opportunity with you
Bring the day the government will realize
We’ll all be happier when it’s legalized
So immigrate, stop the hate, let’s educate
The more we do, the less we will incarcerate
7 billion people just below the moon
And if we come together, oh, the things that we could do

[Pre-Chorus]
If you wanna make the world a better place
Say alright (alright) alright (alright)
If you wanna peaceful world for Christmas day
Say alright (alright) alright (alright)

[Chorus]
Christmas is here
I know what I want this year
Presents and toys are fine
But I got bigger things in mind
Santa can you swing more love? More peace?
Because that’s what everybody needs
Come save the world with me

[Interlude - Kids Talk]
What do you want for Christmas?
I just want peace for everybody on earth
What about you?
I want hope for everybody
Tayjon?
I think I want homes for the homeless
Alina?
I want water for everybody
Yaay

[Bridge]
All I want for Christmas is to have a chance
So please take care of the environment
Take Mr. Gore seriously
And do what you can to stop global warming
No matter what they say, Barack you did real good
I hope that your successor
Does the things he or she should
That Mr. Trump, he’s an entertaining guy
But let's face it, really is he qualified?

[Pre-Chorus]
If you wanna make the world a better place
Say alright (alright) alright (alright)
If you wanna peaceful world for Christmas day
Say alright (alright) alright (alright)

[Chorus]
Christmas is here
I know what I want this year
Presents and toys are fine
But I got bigger things in mind
Santa can you swing more love? More peace?
Because that’s what everybody needs
Come save the world with me

You see that she's taking a dig at Republican frontrunner Donald Trump. Macy Gray also wanted the country to recognize climate change. She said that President Barack Obama's agenda is good.

Many conservatives will blast the song for being "liberal indoctrination" and "Hollywood elitists" talking down "real Americans".

Macy Gray is well aware of the outrage that will follow her.

She doesn't care about the criticism. Her job is put out songs for her fans. I am certain her fans will be happy to hear it.

Conservatives will get even more outraged. She did the song called "B.O.B.". The song talks about that little thing that keeps women in their vibe. If you want to know what I'm talking about. Click here.

The Wiz Live!

The Wiz Live Poster NBC 2015.jpg
NBC is rolling out a big event for the holiday. The reboot of the famed Broadway show is coming back to the screens with an all-star African American cast. Produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, it will premiere on the network.

Will it be a hit or a flop?

The cast includes Shanice Williams, Ne-Yo, Amber Riley, Elijah Kelley, Common, Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, David Alan Grier and Uzo Aduba.

It will premiere on the network on December 3rd.

It's been 40 years since The Wiz. The 1975 Broadway production won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The musical was an early example of Broadway's mainstream acceptance of works with an all-black cast.

The Broadway show is an urbanized retelling of L. Frank Baum's classic 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in the context of modern African-American culture.

Stephanie Mills, who once played Dorothy in The Wiz will make a guest star role as Aunt Em.

The musical inspired a motion picture film that featured Diana Ross, Nipsey Russell, Ted Ross, Lena Horne and Michael Jackson. It was viewed as a flop but remains a cult classic among the fans.

People's "Sexist White Man" Alive!

David Beckham snags the People's cover.

For the umpteenth time, People Magazine releases its "Sexist Man Alive" issue. Thus proving me and S. Baldwin's point about the magazine's deliberate attempts to ignore men of color.

The now retired English soccer star David Beckham graces its annual cover.

"I never feel that I'm an attractive, sexy person," said Beckham. "I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don't ever think of myself that way."

Beckham joins the list of many men who graced the "Sexist Man Alive" cover.

And once again People faces a backlash. Because this has been over 20 years since a person of color ever graced that cover for the "Sexist Man Alive."

David is married to reality star/designer/former pop singer Victoria Beckham (nee Adams) and has four children.

Beckham is one of the highest paid soccer players in the United States. He is one of FIFA's best footballers ever.

While we don't hate on the fact that Beckham earned the title of "Sexist Man Alive", you notice that People chooses the candidates selectively.

I mean there hasn't been a man of color on that magazine since Denzel Washington.

Although Idris Elba, Jussie Smollet, Michael B. Jordan, Drake and Ki Hong Lee were in the featured in the list of "Sexist Men". They never graced the cover of People.

The celebrity agitating magazine has often face harsh criticism for this.

Do you believe People Magazine deliberately leaves out people of color in their "Sexist Person Alive" covers?

Rachel Dolezal: We're All Children Of Africa!

I'm proud to be...me! Rachel Dolezal comes out of hiding to tell the public that she's pregnant. By the way, she's White.

The former NAACP president who brought her "faux pas" to the junk food media announced she is pregnant. Oh, by the way, she admits that she is a White woman. She's also admits she's bisexual.

This woman is a hot mess.

Rachel Dolezal became a lightening rod for the agitators in the media. Despite all the good she's done for the civil rights organization, she hid the fact that she was a White woman portraying herself as a Black woman.

Dolezal's own parents "outed" her as a White woman. They told the junk food media that she was born in Montana. She wasn't adopted. She does volunteer work for the community. She was infatuated with Black culture. She lied to get into Howard University. She married a Black man. She adopted two Black teen boys. She even tries to talk "Black".

The junk food media sought interviews with her and wanted to know why did she fake the funk!

Dolezal refuses to be called a White woman. She says that she's a product of African roots.

The Real got an opportunity to talk to her.

She also addresses her feud with her family.

The Real co-hosts Tamar Braxton and Loni Love asked Dolezal about the matter sans pretense.

“It was hurtful to a lot of Black women,” said Love. “There were some people who felt that you never identified yourself as white so when you went to Howard University. Some people felt like they never knew you were Black, and so maybe the scholarship, you know when you got admitted to Howard, that took an opportunity from a Black woman.”
Rachel Dolezal talks about her ordeal and her pregnancy. She gets a grilling from Loni Love and Tamar Braxton.
“Right, and that’s why I said, I acknowledge that I was biologically born white to white parents, but I identify as Black,” Dolezal responded.

Whether or not her admitting to being born white was enough, Braxton pushed the issue further and asked what ethnicity Dolezal lists herself as in official forms and documentation. Say, if she were to fill out a job application. Dolezal’s response?

“The form in particular usually defines things,” she said, before adding: “I check white and black, because we all have human origins in the continent of Africa.”

Dolezal did receive a standing ovation from the crowd for admitting her white heritage, as well as for her supposedly being honest while answering the co-hosts’ questions.

Halle Berry Is Back On The Market!

It's a wrap for Halle and Oliver. The celebrity couple announce separation.

Halle Berry has the worst luck in relationships. It seems like her third marriage is a wrap.

Berry has a temper. She is bipolar and can be volatile when she's under the influence of alcohol.

I guess it's taken its toll on the two year marriage.

She and her husband, actor Oliver Martinez announced they're splitting up.

The couple met in 2010 and wed in 2013; they had a son together that same year.

They released a joint statement to celebrity agitator People Magazine.

"It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce," the couple says in a statement to People. "We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life and we hope that you respect our and, most importantly, our children's privacy as we go through this difficult period." Berry, who has a 7-year-old daughter with aforementioned brawler Gabriel Aubry, has been divorced twice before.

However, while Berry asks for no spousal support for either party, and for the costs of raising their child to be shared as per terms of their prenup, Martinez asks for issues of spousal support to be sorted out at a later date. The actress states that all of her earnings and assets are her property per their prenup.

Both are seeking joint custody of their 2-year-old son, Maceo-Robert, but Berry's filing has an attached form about visitation, saying they will "share custody as is in the best interest of the child" but that Martinez should provide transportation to and from visits and need permission to take Maceo out of California.

Berry had planned to raise her two children (she has a daughter, Nahla, from Gabriel Aubry) in Europe, but was never able to make the move because of ongoing custody issues with Nahla's father, Gabriel Aubry. Meanwhile, Martinez "never loved living in L.A. full time," according to a source. "[He] just isn't happy in L.A."

Martinez's temper also allegedly played a role in the split. "He has a violent temper," the source told People this summer. Martinez got into a Thanksgiving brawl with Aubry in 2012, and was caught shoving an LAX employee with a baby seat earlier this year. The employee is now suing the couple for $5 million.

Ultimately, a source tells People that the relationship between the two "fiery personalities" had "run its course," adding: "They are keeping it amicable now. She is okay."

This is Martinez first divorce, and the third for Berry, who wed baseball player David Justice in 1993 and singer Eric Benét in 2001.

She got some more bad news handed to her. CBS had canceled the hit drama Extent.

Berry had returned to television after 10 years. The series was produced by Amblin Entertainment and CBS Television Studios.

Who Wrote The "I Hate Black Women" Book?

The book says it clearly.
Some nobody wrote a book highly critical of Black women. The writer assuming its a pen name wrote this book called "I Hate Black Women".

Now there's a backlash against the writer and the companies that promote this.

The writer T.C. Writer (ahem) wrote this provocative, controversial and certainly much talked about book. This Writer person is an American author who writes about the elephant in the room that everyone pretends is not there. "The goal is to ruffle a few bird feathers because angry people seek change, and complacent people don't."

T.C. Writer claims that she rapidly learned that your work will never please everyone. Balancing daily hate mail with messages from those hailing her as a maverick who isn't scared to speak the truth, Writer is on a lifelong mission to help fellow African American women better themselves. But her tools are not conventional, including 'I Hate Black Women', Writer's latest book. Firm in her belief that the African American audience respond better to hate than love, Writer's provocative manifesto untangles how black women often make life difficult for themselves, fostering a culture and reputation that ultimately finds them discriminated on by the rest of society.

This Writer said that Black women need to dial back their attitudes and fall in line with the system.

Basically this writer claims that the Black woman must act right in the presence of the Black man and White people.

Yeah, Black women are discriminated against. Ask Raven Symone, she said she wouldn't hire any women with a Black sounding name.
Raven-Symone is an example of Black women who attack their own.
Hear the nonsense from that annoying conservative agitator. The worst cable news host to ever have a program constantly says that First Lady Michelle Obama is a downright mean person. When she said that "for the first time" she was proud of her country, that annoying conservative agitator says that Mrs. Obama is "an angry Black woman".

Matter of fact, even that old fart Limbaugh said that "Moo Chelle" is the type of women Alex Rodriguez refuse to date.

How about when the Madame Tussauds decided to reveal the Nicki Minaj figure. They designed the wax figure to a likeness of her Anaconda music video. The famous pose by the entertainer was being vandalized by horny jerks and sexual perverts.

In her mind, the Black woman are destructive to America.

She calls upon the American people to address this. If we refuse to address it, we're going to be considered complacent.

Well I guess I am complacent. I am not down with this garbage. I am not going to allow this hateful book spread the seeds of distrust, division and diversion about Black women.

Here's what you're going to hear from concern trolls. Did you read the book?

Many in the Black community are very reactionary. We are willing to take action against something without reading it. Before I sign off the Change.org petition to have it removed from Amazon's website, I want to know what I'm dealing with.

Of course, the difficult job of looking for this book will be the challenge.

Any thoughts on this controversy?

Tragedy In America: The Murder Of Transgender Women!

She had a bubbly smile. Family and friends mourn the lost of Zella Ziona. The young transgender woman was murdered in suburban Washington, DC by a man who had a "gay panic".

I've been really busy over the last few days. I didn't get an opportunity to post much this weekend.

So many things are happening, I couldn't catch up to it. But one thing I've followed is the deaths of transgender women.  This year there have been over 20 transgender women killed in the United States. Most of women were of color.

The names are not known by the junk food media, but many in the LGBT community have encouraged #BlackLivesMatter to rally for their cause.

The junk food media doesn't often talk about their lives. Many would regard them as "men in drag".

Some of these suspects would often have a "gay panic" if they found out their girlfriend was born a boy. Many in the transgender community believe that if you're identified as a woman or a man and you're attracted to the opposite sex, they would consider it heterosexual. Transgender women are attracted to straight men. Transgender men are attracted to straight women. They don't want to be labeled "gay" or "straight" in their relationships. They want to be labeled a "loving couple".

The junk food media doesn't often look at their stories.

Some of the victims were of the stroll. Some men would often pick up ladies and ask them for sexual favors. Many of the women had futures and it's damn shame that these lives were lost.

Let's clear something up. I understand that many in the Black community still have intolerance towards those in the LGBT community. I know that some people love to shame "straight" men who engage in sexual contact with transgender women and gay men. In turn that sparks the gay panic.

A gay panic will result in the "straight" man engaging in a violent act towards a victim because of a purported psychiatric condition called homosexual panic.
The Advocate keeps track of the numerous victims murdered this year alone. These women were murdered because they were transgender.
The gay shame happens when a scorned gay partner wants to expose their straight sexual partner to the general public. In turn, it becomes a gay panic and then turns into a dangerous situation for the person.

A gay panic involves the person who exposed the "straight" partner getting either assaulted or killed by that person. In the Black community, the straight partner will risk their freedom to protect their cred among their fellow peers.

Why they invented the down-low?

Because men who don't acknowledge themselves a "gay or bisexual" have these affairs with women and men outside of their relationships. Some men look at it as "I can have my cake and eat too" theory.

Because they can't hide their passions. All men love sex. Men enjoy the pleasure of being involved in sex with a partner. Regardless of the partner being a man or a woman, the alpha male will satisfy his needs with that person.
The key suspect in the murder of Zella Ziona said that she embarrassed him in front of friends. He claims that he had a "gay panic". This callous murderer is held on murder and possible hate crime charges.
In turn they create the possibility of spreading HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis in the Black community. Most of the times, they refuse to wear condoms and end up having unwanted children or an incurable disease.

They end up having Jerry Springer/Maury Povich moments.

Most celebrities in the Black community typically hip-hop and action movies go forth with the masculinity and a sense of having the baddest bitches at their side. They also rant about weaker men (or perceived gay men) as being "faggots" and "pussies ass Niggas".

Don't get me wrong, what people do in the bedrooms is solely their business.

I have no problem with the LGBT community. They're entitled to live their lives in peace and harmony. They deserve the right to marry. They're not bothering me. So let them celebrate their love in union.
So many names listed. MSNBC's Janet Mock reads the names of transgender women murdered in 2015.
I do have a problem with the junk food media labeling the victims by their birth names. They don't identify themselves as "males". They want to be addressed as women. Will the junk food media respect that?

There were 20 women so far mentioned. Some had managed to attract national attention. Others were swept under the radar.

Here are some of the victims.
  • Papi Edwards,
  • Lamia Bold
  • Ty Underwood
  • Yazmin Vash Payne
  • Taja DeJesus
  • Penny Proud
  • Bri Golec
  • Kristina Gomez Reinwald
  • Keyshia Blige
  • Venessa Santillian
  • Maya Hall
  • London Chanel
  • Mercedes Williamson
  • Jasmine Collins
  • Ashton O'Hara
  • India Clarke
  • K.C. Haggard
  • Shade Schuler
  • Amber Monroe
  • Kandis Capri
  • Elisha Walker
  • Tamara Dominguez
  • Kiesha Jenkins
These women died. Some of the suspects were apprehended. Some cases are still unresolved.

And the most recent murder of a transgender woman has now gotten national attention.

Zella Ziona was from suburban Washington, DC. Her life was cut short after an altercation with a group of teenagers.

"They argued and things happened so fast," the witness, who didn't want to be named, told the station. "I don't know what they argued for."

Her body was found in an alley with a gunshot directly towards her head. The alleged suspect Rico Hector Leblond was sought. According to witnesses, Leblond was pissed that Zella confronted him in front of his friends. Zella was pissed that the suspect spurning her.

The suspect claimed Zella was acting "flamboyantly" around him.

That's no excuse for this senseless act of violence.

The Montgomery County Maryland Sheriff ruled this a homicide and possible hate crime.

Her death would make 21 transgender women of color killed this year alone.

World News Today send our condolences those lost in this senseless tragedy.

Dearborn Cop Insults Woman For Having HIV!

Dearborn police doing damage control after one of the officer screwed up.

Dearborn Police had to owe up to a woman. After a routine pull over in the Detroit suburb, the officer was disrespectful to the motorist. She didn't have a license and held a medical marijuana license.

She was being treated for the HIV virus. The officer freaked out when he searched her vehicle for contraband.

She was cited for driving without a license. It got worse when she was insulted by the officer who felt it was his duty to shame her about her health status.

The Raw Story reports Shalandra Jones, who sued after a Dearborn, Michigan, police officer asked if she had HIV, has settled with the city for $40,000, the city and her attorney announced Tuesday.

Jones was in a car that was pulled over for a routine traffic stop in January 2014 and questioned by police officer David Lacey for having marijuana in the car, as first reported by the Detroit Free Press. Jones had a medical marijuana card as part of her HIV treatment, though the card had expired at the time of the incident.
Detroit area woman sues Dearborn Police for harassment.
The police officer asked if either the driver or Jones had any diseases while searching through Jones’s purse. Her companion said Jones has HIV. “She’s got earrings and shit I’m touching, and I don’t want to get anything,” Lacey said on a video recorded by his dash camera. “That might be something you want to tell a cop,” he said to the driver. Lacey then compared Jones to “drug addicts” who use needles to inject drugs.

Of course, if you're not affiliated with the criminal behavior, you can tell an officer not to search your vehicle or reveal your status unless given by a court order.

The deadly disease isn't gone. HIV cases have actually grown in the past three years. It's mostly due to the heroin epidemic and denial of the disease.

HIV is spread through sexual contact, sharing needles and breastmilk to children. Blood transfusions are limited. HIV if left untreated can become AIDS. HIV is not a death sentence. HIV cannot be cured but it can be treated. You can live a healthy life with the disease.

HIV is spread through anal, vagina and oral contact. Oral sex is oftentimes looked as null. But if not rarely, a person can catch contact from a person carrying if the person has blood or semen infected with the disease.

It's a dangerous disease that I hope I never get. I usually get tested every six months because like most men, we're sexually active. I normally wear condoms whenever I have sex with a woman. Often times, I've been reckless.

Many of the victims of HIV are usually unaware of the disease. Some practice in unprotected vaginal or anal sex. Some may share hypodermic needles without properly cleaning them.

Some are aware of the disease and they don't care. They rather punish others for their failures. Those who do that are often associated with the stroll and they're willing to put your life and their life at risk for contact.

These are the ones who carry the disease. These are the ones who may end up getting me and you!

World News Today wishes Shalandra Jones well on her journey.

Marcy Borders Passed Away!

The iconic photo of the dusty lady. Marcy Borders didn't know she was filmed. It was confirmed by her family that Marcy died of cancer.

The iconic picture of a Black woman covered head to toe with dust from the horrific tragedy on September 11, 2001 passed away from stomach cancer.

Marcy Borders who became a groundbreaking image of the horrors of that day.

She was on her way to her job at the World Trade Center when reports of an explosion at the North Tower. Like most people at the WTC, not many people were aware of the event. Some didn't expect it to happen that fast. The second plane would crash into the South Tower.

Marcy was working at the tower.

She managed to escape the horror.
Marcy tried to overcome the fear.
Marcy was a 28-year-old Bank of America worker when the photograph of her staring into the lens with her eyes asquint and her mouth agape was taken. Marcy, who came to be known around the world as “dust lady”, died on Monday at the age of 42 after a year-long battle with stomach cancer that she blamed on dust inhaled during the attack.

“I can’t believe my sister is gone,” Michael Borders wrote of his sibling on Facebook. Borders’ cousin John Borde added that she was a “hero” and she “unfortunately succumbed to the diseases that have ridden her body since 9/11”.

“In addition to losing so many friends, coworkers, and colleagues on and after that tragic day ... the pain from yesteryear has found a way to resurface,” he said.

Marcy had no idea she had been photographed until her mother called to say she had seen the picture. The image remained an emblem of the problems that continued to trouble her after the attacks.

The Guardian reports that Marcy was struggling since the event. She turned to drugs and had severe paranoia.

She battled severe depression and became addicted to crack cocaine. “I didn’t do a day’s work in nearly 10 years, and by 2011 I was a complete mess,” she said. “I was convinced Osama bin Laden was planning more attacks. Every time I saw an aircraft, I panicked. If I saw a man on a building, I was convinced he was going to shoot me.”

After losing custody of her two children, Borders checked into rehab in April 2011 and remained sober. She announced that she’d been diagnosed with stomach cancer and had undergone chemotherapy last summer. She was scheduled to undergo further surgery, radiation and chemotherapy in December.

Her daughter, Noelle, told the New York Post her mother “fought an amazing battle”.

World News Today send our condolences to the family of Marcy Borders.

Emma Didlake Passed Away!

President Barack Obama thanks Emma for her service.

A month after meeting President Barack Obama, Emma Didlake, passed away. Born in Alabama, grew up in Detroit, Emma served in the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) during World War II. She served stateside for about seven months during the war, as a private and driver.

Emma Didlake died Sunday in West Bloomfield, northwest of Detroit, according to the Oakland County medical examiner's office. She was considered one of the oldest veterans at the time living.

She passed away at 110 years old. World News Today send our condolences to the family of Emma Didlake.

Didlake was a 38-year-old wife and mother of five when she signed up in 1943 for the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. She served about seven months stateside during the war, as a private and driver.

She spent time with the president in July during a trip to Washington that was arranged by Talons Out Honor Flight, a southwest Michigan chapter of a national nonprofit that provides free, one-day trips for veterans to visit monuments and memorials in the nation's capital.

"Emma Didlake served her country with distinction and honor, a true trailblazer for generations of Americans who have sacrificed so much for their country," Obama said Monday afternoon in a statement. "I was humbled and grateful to welcome Emma to the White House last month, and Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to Emma's family, friends, and everyone she inspired over her long and quintessentially American life."

Emma was born in Alabama and moved with her family to Detroit in 1944. She was known to her family as "Big Mama" and recently moved to an assisted living family in suburban Detroit.

She was deemed the oldest U.S. veteran based on information gleaned by Honor Flight representatives through national outreach campaigns.

Granddaughter Marilyn Horne told The Associated Press last month that when Talons Out officials presented her grandmother with a short-sleeved shirt bearing the group's logo to wear on the trip to Washington, Didlake took a look and said: "'I don't have Michelle Obama arms — I'm going to need a jacket.'"

During her visit to the White House, Didlake wore a patriotic-themed neck scarf and sat in her wheelchair in the same spot in the Oval Office where foreign leaders sit when they meet with Obama.

Mickey Guyton Is Becoming A Big Name In Country Music!

When you hear Better Than You Left Me, you think who is the singer of this beautiful country song?

Well, there's a young Black woman named Mickey Guyton, and her star is rising.

Mickey Guyton (born Candace Mycale Guyton) started her signing career in the church. In her younger days, she wanted to be a gospel singer. But something got her attention. The sounds of country drew her in.

Mickey grew up listening to a variety of artists, including Dolly Parton, LeAnn Rimes, Whitney Houston and gospel innovators BeBe and CeCe Winans. “Those were huge influences,” she says, recalling a particularly pivotal moment. “I was at a Texas Rangers baseball game and LeAnn Rimes was singing the National Anthem. This was right when she came out with ‘Blue’. I was completely mesmerized.”

She would embrace country music and found her heart.

Mickey got a deal with Capitol Records Nashville. It got her the exposure.

She got an opportunity to perform at the White House in 2011 with James Taylor, Dierks Bentley, Kris Kristofferson, The Band Perry, Darius Rucker and Lyle Lovett.

Mickey has been the opening act for Eric Church, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and many others.

What was remarkable about her is that lovely voice. Her voice hypnotizes me. I got an opportunity to listen to her hit single. I am very impressed with her song. I am a fan.

She is one of the very few Black country music singers. Matter of fact, she is one of the few women of color to embrace a musical genre that usually targets White people.

Gayle King of CBS This Morning had an opportunity to interview her.

World News Today wishes Mickey well on her journey.

Misty Copeland Becomes Lead Ballerina At American Ballet Theatre!

Misty Copeland is the first African American woman to lead the ABT.

An amazing woman became a part of history. World News Today wishes Misty Copeland well on her journey.

She became the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer in American Ballet Theatre's 75-year history after being named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time the prior month.

The AP reports that Copeland, 32, fought tears as she spoke about her promotion, which she said was a lifetime dream - but such a difficult one to attain that she never really thought it would happen.

"This is it," she said. "This has been my dream since I was 13, to be a principal dancer and reach these heights."

"But it hasn't been overnight," she added at a hastily arranged news conference - a rarity for a ballet promotion. "It's been 14 years of extremely hard work ... I'm just so extremely honored to be an African-American and to be in this position."

And, Copeland said, she hoped her ascension to the very top ranks of ballet would inspire other young dancers of color - "all the little girls" - to stick with their own dreams.

"So many young dancers of color stop dancing at an early age because they just don't think there will be a career path for them," she said. "I hope that will change." She spoke of her own doubts when she joined the ABT corps at age 19 and saw no one "who looked like me."

"I had moments of doubting myself and wanting to quit, because I didn't know if there would be a future for an African-American woman" at that level," she said. "At the same time, it made me so hungry to push through."

The company announced the promotion six days after Copeland made her New York debut as Odette/Odile in "Swan Lake," one of the most important roles in a ballerina's repertoire. The emotional performance ended with Copeland being feted onstage by trailblazing black ballerinas of earlier generations, and with a sea of fans cheering and taking cellphone videos.

Copeland has become increasingly famous over the past several years, achieving a pop culture status exceedingly rare for a ballet dancer.

"We haven't had a ballet dancer who has broken through to popular culture like this since Mikhail Baryshnikov," said Wendy Perron, an author and the former editor of Dance Magazine. "And she's going to bring more attention from that world to ballet."

In the past year, Copeland has appeared on the cover of Time magazine as one of the most influential figures of 2015, and written both a children's book, "Firebird," and a best-selling memoir, "Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina," which has been optioned for a movie. She also was the subject of a documentary at this year's Tribeca Film Festival.

In recent years she's also performed in a music video with Prince, and been featured in a hugely popular online ad for Under Armour sportswear that shows her leaping and spinning in a studio, while a narrator recounts some of the negative feedback she received as a youngster, when she was told she had the wrong body for ballet and had started too late - at 13.

The dancer also has appeared as a guest host on the Fox show "So You Think You Can Dance" and was a presenter at this year's Tony awards.

Many who attended Copeland's historic "Swan Lake" performance last week noted what a diverse audience Copeland had drawn to the Metropolitan Opera House, where ABT performs its spring season. The crowd was filled with young girls - black and white - in their party dresses.

"She singlehandedly made that a diverse audience," Perron said.

Damian Woetzel, former principal dancer for New York City Ballet and now the director of the Vail International Dance Festival, called Copeland's rise "groundbreaking."

"In the racially underrepresented world of ballet, Misty has already had an historic impact," Woetzel said in an email message. "Now, as a groundbreaking principal dancer, she will continue to inspire and make possible much-needed changes for our field and for the arts in America."
Misty becomes a legend.
Born in Kansas City, Copeland moved at age two to California, where, she noted at Tuesday's news conference, she first took ballet classes at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America - not, she said, a common path to becoming a ballerina for an elite company.

She writes in her memoir that her childhood was defined by "packing, scrambling, leaving - and often barely surviving." But she became known as a local dance prodigy, despite her late start, and joined ABT's junior company at age 18, then the full company at 19. She became a soloist at age 24.

Copeland is the first black ballerina and second black dancer overall to be a principal at ABT, after Desmond Richardson, who danced with the company in 1977-1978 and returned later as guest artist. At New York City Ballet, there has never been a black female principal, and only two black male principals. (One of them, Albert Evans, died last week at the age of 46.)

In 1990, Lauren Anderson became a principal dancer at Houston Ballet - the first black female principal in the country. Anderson, now retired, was onstage at last week's "Swan Lake" curtain calls to give Copeland a huge hug and lift her off her feet. Copeland paid tribute on Tuesday.

"It's not me up here," she said. "It's everyone who came before me and got me to this position."

Also named an ABT principal dancer on Tuesday was longtime soloist Stella Abrera. In addition, Maria Kochetkova, a principal with the San Francisco Ballet, and Alban Lendorf, a principal with Royal Danish Ballet, are joining as principals, it was announced.

Bobbi Kristina Brown In Dire Straights!

Celebrity agitator Bobbi Kristina Brown is in hospice.

It's the dire straights for celebrity agitator Bobbi Kristina Brown. The only daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston was found unconscious in her suburban Atlanta home.

They rushed her to a hospital where they tried to revive her. The doctors placed her in a medically induced coma and tried to see if the swelling in her brain would calm. The medication didn't help her and apparently the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into her injuries. Nick Gordon who lived with Brown is being criticized for being negligent and abusive.

She's permanently brain damaged. The doctors exhausted all their hope for her.

Now the family has confirmed that she's in a hospice. The family now can confirm that everything done couldn't help her out of the coma.

Now they're preparing for the eventual demise of the daughter of a legendary singer who met her fate in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub in 2012.

Pray for Krissy.

Some memorable moments from her official Twitter page.

A young life gone too soon....

Washington State NAACP President Facing Heat Over Her "Blackness!"

Civil rights leader told tales of Blackness. In reality she's a white woman. Her family outed her in this bitter family feud.

I think I've talked about this before. But if I haven't, let's get down to business. The oldest civil rights group is facing a controversy. One of its chapter presidents is under fire for being a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Before I go into it, let's first get this out the way.

Yes, there are White people in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Yes, the NAACP is progressive on issues such as civil rights, gay rights and gun control.

Yes, the NAACP has been controversial in some of its past commentary. This issue is considered a controversy in the eyes of agitators. It's not big but the junk food media will make it big.

The Republican Party and conservatives want to claim they founded the NAACP back in them days. But in the same breath they now call it a "racist" organization because of its progressive stances on social issues.
All the good she's done and they still want her out.
It's not a solely Black group. The NAACP is a group devoted to the equal rights for all Americans.

Enter Rachel Dolezal, the president of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP. She's under fire because she falsely claimed that's she Black. She's dodging the cameras and closing her social media off.

It's a big topic in the city of Spokane and the junk food media is invested in outing the fake.

CNN reports the mother of Rachel Dolezal made the claim that she is white  Her mother said Friday that her daughter "has not explained to us why she is doing what she's doing and being dishonest and deceptive with her identity."

Her mother told the local junk food media that their daughter has never been black, biracial or non-white. She even showed hundreds of pictures of her in her "natural look".

Ruthanne Dolezal said her daughter Rachel gradually began referring to herself as black around 2007 and that "she has never claimed to be biracial or African-American in our presence."
A family photo from Rachel Dolezal's wedding reception on May 21, 2000. According to the Dolezal family, the image shows from left rear, Ruthanne Dolezal, who is Rachel's mother, Rachel's husband, Kevin, Rachel Dolezal, her father Larry Dolezal and her paternal grandparents. In the front row are Larry and Ruthanne Dolezal's adopted children Ezra, Izaiah, Esther and Zachariah.
She married a Black man and became a step-mom to his family.  Her parents probably disapproved of it.
The parents last talked to their daughter "some years ago," with Ruthanne Dolezal saying "Rachel has not wanted to have contact with us."

The NAACP issued a statement Friday on Rachel Dolezal's "enduring a legal issue with her family," saying, "We respect her privacy in this matter."

"One's racial identity is not a qualifying criteria or disqualifying standard for NAACP leadership," the group said. "The NAACP Alaska-Oregon-Washington State Conference stands behind Ms. Dolezal's advocacy record."

For one thing, why discredit the good that's been done by Dolezal?

So what you're saying is that she's a phony!

She lied Black to become the president of region's NAACP.
Nice tan.
So you're telling the public that because she's born White (or refused to be labeled as such), you want her out?

So if she acts, talk like and slept with Black, she shouldn't be a part the NAACP.

Nice. So I guess she's going to be fired out the cannon for being White.

Hate to tell you folks, that White people are welcomed into the NAACP.

The NAACP also was founded by three White people.

This comes in the wake of death threats being sent to the NAACP.

They are trying to discredit her as a legitimate civil rights leader. The agitators are trying to say she staged the death threats that were sent to the Spokane NAACP.

Black women: Do you believe that Dolezal's actions merit her being fired from the NAACP?

Black America: Dolezal is working for the good of all Americans as a part of the NAACP. Is the fact that she doesn't want to be labeled by race an issue for you?

Me and S. Baldwin will follow this controversy.

I've Cut The Face.....!

Image result for Facebook
It's about time for me to put an end to my social media fixation. I am taking a long break from Facebook.

It's time to end my reign on the world's most popular social media website.

I am not canceling my account for now. But I will eventually. I am getting tired of viewing everyone and anyone. I admit that I am jealous. I am jealous of everyone and everything.

I wanted to be with the "IT" crowd. I wanted to be "friends" with anyone and anybody!

My family, friends, ex-girlfriends, co-workers, and even my boss were friends on Facebook. I kept in touch with them through birthdays, anniversaries, new children, deaths and celebrations. I've posted on their walls about my life and how I'm doing! The more friends I've gotten, the better I felt. It's was one of the greatest feelings to be wanted.

Then I realized that I wasn't moving as fast as my friends and family. They're celebrating weddings, births, and new achievements. I haven't experienced any in the past four years. So I seen myself at a peak of jealous and depression.

Longing for the days of success, I seen myself as a failure!
Facebook can cause couples to break up.
The whole situation with that woman Jessica has finally woke me up to the ugly reality of life.

I am angry with myself over this. I put so much into a huge waste of time. I felt that looking at others being happy kind of makes me sad. So I don't want to be sad. I will admit this. This social media can make me jealous.

So therefore, I am on a hiatus.

I want to thank my friends, family, co-workers and formers. I wish them well.

I am taking a long (and I mean long) break from Facebook.

I am too damn nice and willing to accept or take anything. I am not mad at her for lying and deceiving me during our time, I am too embarrassed to the tell someone how I feel about it.

I don't want to share my business with everyone on social media anymore.

Maybe here on this blog. But I have to generate enough people to view it.

Anyway, I have posted some time ago about the Facebook decline. The social media titian has over 1.4 billion subscribers.

The social network was founded by four Harvard students who wanted to keep in touch with classmates at the prestigious university. Who would of thought that this little experiment would become the world's most popular way to connect to people.

Now it's over 10 years and the social media website is still reigning on top. But it's on the downslide. Predicted in less than 5 years, the social media website will lose over 80%  of active users.

Are you addicted to Facebook?

Do you get jealous of people when they share their relationships, new achievements and successes?

Nichelle Nichols (born Grace Dell Nichols) is an American actress, singer and voice artist. She sang with Duke Ellington and Lionel Hampton before turning to acting. Her most famous role is that of communications officer Lieutenant Uhura aboard the USS Enterprise in the popular Star Trek television series (1966–1969), as well as the succeeding motion pictures, where her character was eventually promoted in Starfleet to the rank of commander. Nichols' Star Trek character, one of the first African American female characters on American television not portrayed as a servant, was groundbreaking in U.S society at the time. Viola Davis: I'm Natural So Why Would They Want Me To Wear A Wig?

Annalise Keating showing the natural side.

How To Get Away With Murder is co-produced by Peter Nowalk and Shonda Rhimes and it features Broadway's famed Viola Davis. The ABC drama is a go for second season.

HTGAWM for short is one highly praised drama. I'm a fan of the series.

Viola plays the role of Annalise Keating as a law professor at a prestigious Philadelphia university who, with four of her students, becomes entwined in a murder plot.

One of the most famous scenes was Annalise taking off her wig, her eyelashes and wiping off the makeup and showing the natural side of her. It was ad lib and it was Viola's idea.
Kerry Washington, Viola Davis and Ellen Pompeo.
She wanted to do this as a reminder to women that beauty is inner deep.

There was something for me that I didn’t buy about Annalise in private. It felt like who she was in private had to be diametrically opposed to who she was in public. And so in order to do that, I felt like I had to physically take the wig off. I mean, I have no eyebrows. I have eyelashes that I put on, and there was something extremely vulnerable about that act -- and I know it seems like a very simple act at the end of the day -- but for me, that simple act really surmounted to something very powerful in the end, because what it was was someone being very, very private in public, which is absolutely the cornerstone of what we do as artists.

That episode was epic.

Rhimes have gotten fans talking about controversial seasons of Grey's Anatomy and Scandal.

She promises fans that they will be even better.

A lot of talk coming from the killing of Meredith Grey's husband Derrick Shepard (played by Patrick Dempsey). Fans weren't happy about the decision to write off Dempsey's character.
