The Milwaukee County sheriff department may file charges against the boyfriend for negligent homicide and child endangering . The boyfriend who is a security guard at local business left his firearm in his girlfriend's ride.
Patrice Price, a 26 year old mother of three was on her way to pick up her boyfriend when her 2-year old son found the firearm underneath the front seat. The boy grabbed the gun and it went off striking Patrice in the head.
Patrice was on the highway when the incident occurred.
As she was shot the vehicle crashes into the barrier. The grandmother who was riding with Patrice held onto the 1-year old son at the time. She was shocked that her ignorant boyfriend left his firearm in a place that children could reach.
The children weren't in proper seating.

The Putnam County sheriff and children's services are investigating why the child got a hold of the firearm. The law's news release says a deputy saw 31-year-old Gilt of Jacksonville behaving frantically inside the truck Tuesday afternoon and quickly realized she'd been shot.
CBS affiliate WJAX reports that deputies found Gilt with a bullet wound inside her truck with a horse trailer on the back stopped in travel lanes on a highway. She was on her way to pick up a horse, according to deputies.
The law may charge Gilt with reckless endangerment (likely a misdemeanor with a heavy fine) and improper use of a firearm (a mild felony).
Deputies say a .45-caliber handgun was on the truck's floor.
Gilt was taken to a Gainesville hospital, where she was in stable condition later Tuesday.
Authorities are investigating.
A Facebook page, that has since been taking down, adorned with the image of the Putnam County mother holding a gun drew worldwide attention Wednesday, WJAX reports.
The page, titled "Jamie Gilt for Gun Sense," received numerous comments from around the world after the woman's story of getting shot by her son spread. The Facebook page has now also been filled with many comments about gun control and gun laws.

Shots were fired from an alley to the rear of the home.
"The murders were planned, calculated, brutal," Allegheny County prosecutor Stephen Zappala said.
He told Channel 11 News 15 people were in the backyard when one shooter with a .40-caliber handgun approached from the alley and began shooting.

A motive wasn't immediately known. Lt. Andrew Schurman of the Allegheny County Homicide Unit said all four people who died at the scene passed away on the back porch.
Allegheny County police officials said Thursday afternoon they had no firm suspects.

“In an unsolved homicide, everybody is a person of interest. There are some we are more interested in than others,” Allegheny County police Superintendent Charles Moffat said during a press conference Thursday afternoon.
Zappala added that he believes some of the partygoers were targeted.
As far as a motive, "everything is on the table," police said.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information can call 1-800-283-4867.

The two candidates had another contentious exchange later on, when Fiore said of Teijeiro, “This chick can’t run on her own merits, so the only thing she does is attack all of us.”

The terrorist is a 14 year old who probably was bullied by the people he probably was aiming at.
The shooting at Madison High School outside of Middletown was the scene of a shooting.
James Hancock was the shooter. He had injured four. The victims were Cameron Smith and Cooper Caffrey. The two who have ancillary wounds are Brant Murray and Katherine Doucette.
The victims will survive their injuries. They will have life-altering experiences after this ordeal.
The terrorist struck at 11:15 am during a lunch break. The terrorist managed to sneak the firearm inside the school. He struck when the students were at their most vulnerable. Some students said he smirks at his victims when he popped off.
The terrorist would ditch the firearm and take off into the woods. Within a few minutes the sheriff would use the dogs to draw him out.

Prior to the shootings, friends and his ex-girlfriend accused him of assault and domestic violence, and issued a restraining order against him. The order was given to him on the day of the shootings and is believed to have been what sparked the event.

The Harvey County Sheriff T. Walton says 4-7 people, including the shooter at Excel Industries in Hesston have been killed.
Walton said as many three people were killed. As many as 20 people were hurt. Walton said there are four to five crime scenes in this case.
Police have not said they have a motive for the shooting.
He lived in Newton, Kansas, the town where one of the shootings occurred. A trailer park there was swarmed by officers about an hour after the initial shootings.

Anderson Cooper did get the president riled up when he was asked about the nonsense being spread around by the conservative websites. The president took a shot at Infowars and The Drudge Report.
I want you to know that it was lively. I wish it would have went a bit longer. I kind of wished to hear from gun shooting survivors. It's unfortunate that even this town hall won't sway the ignorant nonsense being spread by Republicans, conservative agitators and the NRA.
First conservative outrage of the year. Matter of fact, this kicks off the 2016 year where Whites and Republicans are certainly riled up over the latest events in the junk food media. This issue will certainly drive them to the gun stores and stockpile. Matter of fact, the gun shops are seeing a huge bump in the sales.
President Barack Obama just finished up his presser for his immediate executive actions on gun control. He stressed that Congress is too inept in handling this crisis despite having numerous mass shootings in 2015.
He cited Aurora, Oak Leaf, Wisconsin, Umpqua Community College, Newtown, Tucson, Charleston, San Bernardino, Fort Hood, the Navy Yard in Washington, DC, the Ronoake shooting, and violence in Chicago.
He said that enough is enough.
"Every time I think about those [Sandy Hook victims], it gets me mad," Obama said in the East Room of the White House.
At times, the President has questioned the nation he leads, asking why no other advanced country seems so blighted with regular killing sprees and wondering aloud why Americans will not choose to stop the bloodshed.
Evolving through a cycle of sadness, poleaxing grief, frustration and outright fury, Obama has even offered hints of self-recrimination at his own earlier failure to touch the perfidious politics of gun control himself.
Expect this outrage to carry all the way to the elections.
At the White House, he unveiled a series of executive actions on guns, including expanding mandatory background checks for some private sales.
"We are not inherently more prone to violence. But we are the only advanced country on Earth that sees this kind of mass violence erupt with this kind of frequency. It doesn't happen in other advanced countries. It's not even close," Obama said. "Somehow we become numb to it and we start to feel that this is normal. And instead of thinking about how to solve the problem, this has become one of our most polarized, partisan debates, despite the fact that there's a general consensus in America about what needs to be done."
He added, "We do have to feel a sense of urgency about it. In Dr. King's words, we need to feel the fierce urgency of now -- because people are dying."
Of course, conservatives are outrage. The presidential candidates for the Republican nomination are upset and the NRA is using this as a rally call.
The same shit that fuels more extremism.
While I am certainly glad the president went all out on these proposals, the damage is done. This country is too polarized to get things done.
The final year in President Barack Obama's term has begun. He decided to give the Republicans and conservative agitators something to bitch about! Something that his supporters longed for.
On Monday, he will issue executive orders to handle the rise in gun violence.
When Obama returns back to Washington, DC on Saturday, he will convene with Vice President Joe Biden, Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson and Attorney General Loretta Lynch. They will discuss legal ways to handle this epidemic of gun violence.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
In his weekly address the president addressed this head on.
One of the main proposals Obama is poised to adopt--expanding new background-check requirements for buyers who purchase weapons from high-volume gun dealers -enjoys overwhelming public support: a Quinnipiac University poll in December found 89 percent supported background checks at gun shows and for online sales.
But Obama’s executive actions also come as Americans have become more fearful about the prospect of terrorist strikes and have voiced an openness to having ordinary citizens carry guns.
A Washington Post/ABC News poll conducted last month in the wake of the San Bernardino, Calif. terrorist shooting, for example, found that 53 percent of respondents opposed an assault weapons ban, a record high. When asked which is the better reaction to terrorism, 47 percent said encouraging more people to carry guns legally, while 42 percent preferred enacting stricter gun-control laws.
White House officials declined to comment on Obama’s plans beyond releasing his weekly radio address on Friday, a day earlier than usual. In the radio address, Obama said he was moving unilaterally because Congress had failed to address the growing problem of gun violence.
"A few months ago, I directed my team at the White House to look into any new actions I can take to help reduce gun violence," he said in the recorded address. "And on Monday, I’ll meet with our Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, to discuss our options."
"Because I get too many letters from parents, and teachers, and kids, to sit around and do nothing," Obama continued. "I get letters from responsible gun owners who grieve with us every time these tragedies happen; who share my belief that the Second Amendment guarantees a right to bear arms; and who share my belief we can protect that right while keeping an irresponsible, dangerous few from inflicting harm on a massive scale."
The president plans to make his case for additional gun restrictions in a number of forums in the coming month, according to aides, including during his Jan. 12 State of the Union address.
There were 363 mass shootings in the United States. It right now we're off to another year of mass shootings. Some would get attention. Others will be ignored.
Expect a major backlash from gun rights activists, as well as Republican lawmakers. Many states are relaxing gun laws so now they can carry them in open public. The National Rifle Association is mounting a fierce attack on the Democrats. On Thursday, the NRA's Institute for Legislative Action launched the first in a video series attacking gun control advocates.
The first ad targets Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, who revived the plan to expand background checks in the wake of the Roseburg shooting by proposing it on the campaign trail. The ad is labeled "New Year's Resolutions of the Rich and Anti-Gun (Actually, Just Hillary Clinton)," and it shows a woman outlining her plans on Clinton's campaign stationary beside a photo of the president and his former secretary of state as "Auld Lang Syne" blares in the background.
"Stop trying to ban guns," she writes as her first point, in black marker, followed by, "Read the Constitution."
"Meet an actual gun owner," the Clinton impersonator scribbles, before adding, "In Person!"
At that point the woman crosses out all three points, crumples up the paper and throws it aside, as Clinton’s laugh is heard in the background.
