B.B. King On Dire Straights!

Legendary blues singer B.B. King is in dire straights. The family confirms he's in hospice care.

There's news of the blues legend B.B. King being interned into a hospice. The 89-year old blues icon has been fighting diabetes and an irregular heart for years. Now it seems like it's taken its toll.

His family and publicist confirms he's at home in Las Vegas. He's getting home care.

So we here at World News Today will keep you updated on the health of B.B. King.

Expect the junk food media to cover it as well as President Barack Obama.

CNN reports that King spent several days in the hospital in early April for dehydration caused by his Type II diabetes.

King has toured for decades, but has no upcoming concert dates listed on his website.

Known as "King of the Blues," the Mississippi native was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, and has 30 Grammy nominations.
President Barack Obama gets an opportunity to jam with B.B. King.
Some of his hits include "The Thrill Is Gone," which won him his first Grammy in 1970, "There Must be a Better World Somewhere" and "When Love Comes to Town," a collaboration with U2.

B.B. King (born Riley B. King; September 16, 1925) is an American blues musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist.

Wikipedia explains that King is nominated No. 6 in Rolling Stone's 2011 list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time (previously ranked No. 3 in the 2003 edition of the same list), and he was ranked No. 17 in Gibson's "Top 50 Guitarists of All Time".

According to Edward M. Komara, King "introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending and shimmering vibrato that would influence virtually every electric blues guitarist that followed."

King was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. King was also inducted into 2014 class of the R&B Music Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the most influential blues musicians of all time, earning the nickname "The King of Blues", and one of the "Three Kings of the Blues Guitar" (along with Albert King and Freddie King).

King is also known for performing tirelessly throughout his musical career, appearing at 250-300 concerts per year until his seventies. In 1956 it was noted that he appeared at 342 shows. King continues to appear at 100 shows a year.

Over the years, King has developed one of the world's most identifiable guitar styles. He borrowed from Blind Lemon Jefferson, T-Bone Walker and others, integrating his precise and complex vocal-like string bends and his left hand vibrato, both of which have become indispensable components of rock guitarists' vocabulary. His economy and phrasing has been a model for thousands of players.

King has mixed blues, jazz, swing, mainstream pop and jump into a unique sound. In King's words,

"When I sing, I play in my mind; the minute I stop singing orally, I start to sing by playing Lucille."

Conservative Outrage Over Trevor Noah!

The right complains about Comedy Central's Trevor Noah. He was chosen to be the new host of The Daily Show. Jon Stewart is leaving the show after 16 years hosting it.

Moments after Comedy Central announced Trevor Noah as the new host of The Daily Show, many on the racist right and the irrational left are calling the comedian/actor an anti-Semite and racist.

For what reason?

Because he tweets some jokes that some agitators never got. The agitators zeroed in on jokes that were posted to Noah's 2 million followers on Twitter. Some pointed out a few offensive jokes about women, Israel and  the Jews. Some criticized his stance on America.

Comedy Central is standing by Noah.

I mean the social media is catnip to agitators and the business community. Many people are often scrutinized for their online behavior. It's unfortunate that the social media can make or break someone.

Noah is a South African comedian who joined The Daily Show late last year. He was the international correspondent. Many conservatives zeroed in on his routine when he discussed the "Spot The Africa".  They claim that the joke was comparing the U.S. to the South African apartheid.

Noah, remarked the "Hands Up Don't Shoot" meme that conservatives are roundly denouncing.

When he was chosen as the new host, the media started to vet him.

Soon the agitators from Newsbusters, The Daily Nothing, and the conservative Craigslist have put his face on their pages. Of course, their readers and followers have often remarked about it in the "nicest" way.

The word vomit from conservatives is predictable. Insert a racial slur, a racial stereotype, claim liberal this, Obama that. Add a ton of condescending remarks about comedians and Hollywood. Throw in mentions of Africa, Muslims, Netanyahu and the Islamic State and sure enough, we a party going on right there in the comment section.

Noah will do fine. Fuck the haters.

If they don't understand the comedy, that's their problem. But if you're a comedian who talks about issues and spin it into comedy, you're going to be provocative and it's going to be truthful.

I mean if you criticize Israel, should you be labeled an anti-Semite for it?

Big Suge Going Up The Creek Without A Paddle!

If I could take back what happen? Big Suge knows his days of freedom are over!

There were things going on in the junk food media that happen to catch my radar.

First and foremost, we here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of The Jacka, a Bay Area rapper who was gunned down this week. He was a veteran of the hip-hop movement. He was associated with C-Bo and collaborated with E-40, Spice-1 and Yukmouth.

Dominic Newton (August 1977 – February 2, 2015), better known by his stage name The Jacka, was an American rapper from Pittsburg, California. The Jacka got his start with his group, Mob Figaz, whose first album, C-Bo's Mob Figaz, was released in 1999. Newton converted to Islam at a young age and changed his name to Shaheed Akbar. On February 2, 2015, he was fatally shot by an unidentified gunman in Oakland.

Prior to his death, he owned his own label entitled The Artist Records.

Down the way, Big Suge got denied bail. Marion "Suge" Knight the former co-founder of Death Row Records is charged for murder after his vehicle ran over two men killing one. He was trying to start trouble for The Good Doc while he was in Compton. Dr. Dre was there for the filming of the N.W.A. movie and it was a closed set. Big Suge decided to broker a "peace treaty" with his longtime rival.

Apparently Dre didn't get the word. His security cleared Big Suge off the set. There was a lot of yelling and thuggery. And out of nowhere, someone jumps into the vehicle and peels out running over the victim.

Suge still sticking to the code, telling the junk food media and his P.O. that he's not the driver and it was an accident. This accident is the final straw for the music mogul. He's already facing a charge of smacking up a photographer last year and this charge trumped up everything.

He's a doomed celebrity. If found guilty, he could face life in the iron college. Seriously, it would be a 5 - 20 year stay if it wasn't for the fact that Knight has a history of violence and he's part of the Cali three strikes system.

Broken Rock!

Chris Rock in 2007 with his wife and children.

World's most famous comedian and satirist Chris Rock has announced that he had filed for divorce.

Ahem, the entertainer is leaving nearly 20 years of marriage to his wife Malaak Compton-Rock.

Just on the peak of his successful movie this news. Now that makes the list of 2014.

The Daily Mail reports that Malaak Compton-Rock is the founder and executive director of StyleWorks, a non-profit, full-service salon that provides free services for women leaving welfare and entering the workforce.

The couple lived in Alpine, New Jersey with their two daughters, Lola Simone (born 2002) and Zahra Savannah (born 2004).

The split, announce via a statement from both parties, had been in the works for months with Rock reportedly deciding to officially end the marriage.

A source told People 'This was a long time coming. Chris has known it wasn't salvageable for a while. He was the one to file because he knew it was time to just move forward already.'

On Sunday Malaak Compton announced the split saying: 'After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways,' she said in a statement.

'Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak,' he said in a statement.

'This is a personal matter and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family.'

The two wed in 1996. In 2010 they were plagued by reports that Rock had fathered a child out of wedlock.

In 2007 there was speculation that they were on the rocks, but Rock defended they were 'happy.'

'The best part is just having a partner,' the Madagascar star said in 2007. 'There is no real worst part.

I'm not going to say there's a worst part. I mean, I'm a comedian – comedians like to work alone. So maybe I'm not the ideal guy to be married to, in that sense.'

Jason "The Manchild" Mattera Ambushes Rev. Perm!

Conservative gnat confronts Rev. Perm.

Conservative agitator Jason "The Manchild" Mattera once again tries this in your face journalism on people who he claims are hypocrites. Last time he tried to confront comedian Chris Rock and this kind of gotten out of control. Then he tried to run up on Bono, and was shocked to find that he was talking to a Bono impersonator.

These confrontations were part of his book Hollywood Hypocrites. The last book he wrote was Obama Zombies. Each book is full of his hyperbolic criticism of liberals and how conservatives must master the message to appeal to minorities. Most people of color view Republicans and their conservative allies as racist. Yet, in this empty head, Mattera continues to be in a denial of reality. He will continue to agitate those who he felt got away with "murder".

Now still up to his notorious race-baiting tactics, he goes after Rev. Perm over his Crown Heights comments.

Like racial arsonist James O'Keefe, Mattera has a history of distorting the truth. So obviously, I have to not take this video for face value. After all it cuts off with his recording speeches of 20 years ago.

Of course Rev. Perm is the founder of the National Action Network, host of Obama News program PoliticsNation and a signed act on Cash Money Records. The Rev has history of grassroots protest and provocateur activism. He's a well known liberal agitator.

The racist right can't stand him and Jesse "Cut His Nuts Off" Jackson. They believe that every time an event happens in America and it involves a White on Black crime, the racist right expects these two to be involved.

Rev. Perm with Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, the parents of deceased teen Trayvon Martin.
So digging back into the vault, Jason Mattera pulls out all the statements of the past.

The Rev. was an active activist in New York he made some not so nice comments about the Jewish community during the Crown Heights riots. The Crown Heights riot began on August 19, 1991 after a car driven by a Jewish man, and part of a procession led by an unmarked police car, went through an intersection and was struck by another vehicle causing it to veer onto the sidewalk where it accidentally struck and killed a seven-year-old Guyanese boy named Gavin Cato and severely injured his cousin Angela.

Witnesses could not agree upon the speed and could not agree whether the light was yellow or red. One of the factors that sparked the riot was the arrival of a private ambulance, which was later discovered to be on the orders of a police officer who was worried for the Jewish driver's safety, removed him from the scene while Cato lay pinned under his car.

During a protest the Rev. said, "If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house".

So as Mattera goes into confrontation he first asked the Rev. that in spite of the "lifetime ban" of LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling, why isn't he banned from Obama News?

As Rev. Perm was walking to the event, Mattera continues hounding him with questions.

If Mattera really wanted to debate Rev. Perm why don't he go on PoliticsNation?

See he's too much of a punk to do that. And his videos aren't but distortions of truth.

As Wikipedia explains it, Rev. Perm is controversial but yet effective. Rev. Perm's supporters praise "his ability and willingness to defy the power structure that is seen as the cause of their suffering" and consider him "a man who is willing to tell it like it is". Former Mayor of New York City Ed Koch, a one-time foe, said that Rev. Perm deserves the respect he enjoys among Black Americans: "He is willing to go to jail for them, and he is there when they need him."

His critics describe him as "a political radical who is to blame, in part, for the deterioration of race relations".

Sociologist Orlando Patterson has referred to him as a racial arsonist, while liberal columnist Derrick Z. Jackson has called him the black equivalent of Richard Nixon and Pat Robertson. Rev. Perm sees much of the criticism as a sign of his effectiveness. "In many ways, what they consider criticism is complimenting my job," he said. "An activist's job is to make public civil rights issues until there can be a climate for change."

SNL Hires Sasheer Zamata!

Take the stage Ms. Zamata!

After Maya Rudolph left in 2007, SNL, one of the longest running variety sketch comedies had no Black female comedians. Maya Rudolph came on occasions to fill the spotter for Michelle Obama spoofs, but on a temporary basis.

A brief controversy brewed when the two Black comedians voiced concern about the lack of diversity in talent on the NBC program.

Now SNL made good on its word and hired Black comedian Sasheer Zamata to complete the remaining season.

SNL alum Jay Pharoah spoke out last October, saying the show needed black women in the cast, even offering up some suggestions of specific performers. Later, Kenan Thompson drew fire for saying the black women who had auditioned were never “ready” to join the cast.

Things came to a head in November when Kerry Washington hosted the show and drew self-conscious attention to the issue by playing both Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey in the same sketch.

For all its worth, we will see how Sasheer handles things. She will make a debut around the time entertainer Drake makes his appearance as guest/ musical host.

SNL is one of the most unique sketch comedies. It's been a part of Broadway and the New York scene for quite some time.

Head writer and creator Lorne Michaels did an all out search.

SNL is best known for the show's comedy sketches, which parody contemporary culture and politics and are performed by a large and varying cast of repertory and newer cast members. Each episode is hosted by a celebrity guest, who usually delivers an opening monologue and performs in sketches with the cast, and features performances by a musical guest. An episode normally begins with a cold open sketch that ends with someone breaking character and proclaiming, "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!", beginning the show proper.

Family Feud Contestant: Zombies Are BLAAACK!

They ask 100 people about a description of zombies. Name something that best describes zombies.

Contestant Christie: [They're] Black!

The pause. The look from the opponents, a Black family. The look from Steve Harvey.

The nonchalant response that "I don't know, they're probably White zombies too!"

This is a taping of Family Feud. The oft canny remarks from the young White woman stunned Harvey and the Black family. It caused a bit of an uproar on the internet.

Broderick Steven "Steve" Harvey (born January 17, 1957) is an American actor, comedian, entertainer, television/radio personality and author. He hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve Harvey, and Family Feud. He is the author of Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which was published in March 2009, and the book Straight Talk, No Chaser: How to Find and Keep a Man.

The deer in the headlights moment.
He was born in West Virginia, grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He resides in Atlanta where he tapes Family Feud. He also is the host of the Steve Harvey Morning Show on most syndicated radio stations.

He also has a daytime program called Steve Harvey. It's taped in Chicago and Atlanta on occasions.

Harvey starred in the WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, and he was featured in The Original Kings of Comedy. He also hosts the Steve Harvey Project, on an extended cable channel.

So what's you opinion on the matter?

Innocent fun or just stupidity?

You be the judge!

Lou Reed Passes Away!

Legendary rock singer Lou Reed had died this weekend. We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of the famed entertainer.

Louis Allan Reed (March 2, 1942 – October 27, 2013) was an American rock musician and songwriter.

After being guitarist, vocalist, and principal songwriter of the Velvet Underground, his solo career spanned several decades. The Velvet Underground were a commercial failure in the late 1960s, but the group has gained a considerable cult following in the years since its demise and has gone on to become one of the most widely cited and influential bands of the era – hence Brian Eno's famous quote that while the Velvet Underground's debut album only sold 30,000 copies, "everyone who bought one of those 30,000 copies started a band."

After his departure from the group, Reed began a solo career in 1972. He had a hit the following year with "Walk on the Wild Side", but subsequently lacked the mainstream commercial success its chart status seemed to indicate.

In 1975, Reed released a double album of feedback loops, Metal Machine Music, upon which he later commented, "No one is supposed to be able to do a thing like that and survive."

Reed was known for his distinctive deadpan voice, poetic lyrics and for pioneering and coining the term ostrich guitar tuning.

In the spring of 2013, Reed underwent a liver transplant in Cleveland. Afterwards he claimed on his website to be "bigger and stronger" than ever. On October 27, 2013, Reed died at the age of 71 from liver disease at his home in Southampton, New York, on Long Island.

His physician Charles Miller noted that Reed "was fighting right up to the very end. He was doing his Tai Chi exercises within an hour of his death, trying to keep strong and keep fighting."

Tributes were paid to Reed on Twitter, including Iggy Pop, Samuel L. Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Ricky Gervais, Ryan Adams, Elijah Wood, and many others.

David Bowie posted a comment on his Facebook page saying that Reed "was a master".

Rock band Pearl Jam dedicated their song "Man of the Hour" to Reed at their show in Baltimore and then covered the Velvet Underground's "I'm Waiting for the Man".

John Cale, his Velvet Underground bandmate, posted on his Facebook: "The world has lost a fine songwriter and poet…I've lost my 'school-yard buddy'".

Later, Universal Music revealed Cale's full statement on Reed's death: The news I feared the most, pales in comparison to the lump in my throat and the hollow in my stomach.

Two kids have a chance meeting and 47 years later we fight and love the same way - losing either one is incomprehensible. No replacement value, no digital or virtual fill ... broken now, for all time. Unlike so many with similar stories - we have the best of our fury laid out on vinyl, for the world to catch a glimpse. The laughs we shared just a few weeks ago, will forever remind me of all that was good between us.

Former Velvet Underground drummer Mo Tucker responded by saying that Reed was "generous, encouraging and thoughtful. Working with him sometimes could be trying to some people, but never to me. I guess we learned from each other. We all learned from each other.

Reed became an important influence to numerous singers and songwriters, including British musician Morrissey:

He had been there all of my life. He will always be pressed to my heart. Thank God for those, like Lou, who move within their own laws, otherwise imagine how dull the world would be.

Others from outside the music industry also paid their respects, including the Vatican and Salman Rushdie, who wrote, "My friend Lou Reed came to the end of his song. So very sad. But hey, Lou, you'll always take a walk on the wild side. Always a perfect day."

[Take A] Walk On The Wild Side.

Juicy J's Twerk Scholarship Draws Ire From Women's Groups!

Entertainer faces ire of women for "twerk" scholarship offer.

If you can work that behind, you may get a scholarship from entertainer Juicy J. And of course, you may also get the shame of women's right groups.

Black America Web reports that the entertainer is offering $50,000 for the best twerk. Yeah, he's serious about that.

Here's the entertainer speaking about it.

Some women's groups are upset over this. Two Black extremists aren't happy about it and are calling for a boycott of his album.

Seeka tha Teacha, head of the Hip Hop Liberation Army along with colleagues Abena Afreeka and Sis Tricey are too pissed off and are calling for a boycott of the rapper’s CD. Appearing on the weekly rap program, “Militant Minded Radio,” they presented a lively discussion on this display of what can be called a byproduct of misogynistic thinking. We ask for your forgiveness in advance as the speaker’s did not identify themselves so we had to play a guessing game.

“There’s no honor in getting a scholarship for shaking your behind….I think its degrading,” says one of the women we think may be Seeka Tha Teacha, a mother. “Why would you want to get a scholarship for that when there’s a lot of intelligent women out here who use their brain. Why don’t you give them some money,” she continues, adding that she would never want her daughter doing anything like that.

“I know Juicy J [is] probably sittin’ back laughing at all the women that’s gonna come and shake they ass for this money. It’s all a game,” she continues.

“I think that this contest is only symptomatic, and that any discussion about this that ignores the larger picture of the systematic sexploitation, objectification of Black women is basically an incomplete discussion,” says Sis Tricey. She equates Juicy J to someone who is “embracing that cooning buck,” a brother who will promote “the exploitation of himself, his sisters and brothers” for money.

“You can think of the situation…when the 12-year-old sits up and tells his math teacher, ‘I make more in a day then you make in a whole year,” she concludes.
Wiz Khalifa is a fan of Three Six Mafia. The rapper worked with Juicy J and signed him to Taylor Gang Records. The rapper even named Juicy J as the godfather of his son. He and model Amber Rose welcomed a child this year.
And apparently, the scholarship is only the beginning; a CD is set to follow.

“Is this going to be a trend?” Sis Tricey suggests adding a truly frightening scenario. “Are we going to have more rappers throwing in and saying ‘hey, we’re doing some positive things for the school.’ How many sisters will even want to continue to go to school once they get a taste of that.”

Abeena Afreeka states, ”As women, for starters, I believe it is imperative for us to come out in strong opposition to the CD, to the message, and begin to actively get in the ears of our young sisteren.” She invites not only women, but men as well, to join in with this support against the degradation of Black women; by boycotting the Juicy J CD and the message behind it.

The freedom of speech again comes into play. Remember we're living in the post Sandra Fluke era.

Many entertainers are getting the finger wagging too. Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Lil' Wayne, The Game and 50 Cent are examples of entertainers who lost their deals after saying or doing things that caused women's groups to boycott the companies.

Conservative agitators aren't spared the wrath either.

Remember that King Hippo (Rush Limbaugh) called the activist a "slut" and drew ire of women's groups. His antics lead to a lost of sponsors and a strain in his relationship with Clear Channel and Cumulus Radio.

We can expect that Juicy J will be the talk of conservative agitators in the coming days. After all, if shit is posted on the wall, then it's the turd flippers who ready to rally.

Well anyways, the rapper has a lot to celebrate. He's a veteran in the hip-hop game and yes it's a big comeback. He's a part of the pop culture.

Three Six Mafia (Juicy J, DJ Paul and Lord Infamous) won an Oscar for their contributions to Hustle & Flow.
I most recognized him as a member of the Three 6 Mafia. He and DJ Paul were childhood friends and would later form the group. Formed in 1991 as the Backyard Posse and then Triple 6 Maifa, DJ Paul, Lord Infamous, Juicy J and Koopsta Knicca, the group later included two more members including; Crunchy Black and Gangsta Boo (who were both added shortly before the release of their debut album Mystic Stylez).

The group has also collaborated with many rappers on their own label; Hypnotize Minds, where they have kick started the careers for many Memphis rappers, such as; Frayser Boy, Gangsta Blac, Lil Wyte and Indo G. The group frequently collaborates with Project Pat (Juicy J's older brother).

Their musical style—which initially featured dark, menacing beats with equally gritty lyrics—has since moved to a more mainstream sound (crunk).

The group has also had numerous lineup changes, and now consists of original members Juicy J and DJ Paul. Nonetheless, they have cultivated a sizable and diverse cult following that has only increased since their Oscar win. They have released two RIAA rated platinum albums; When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1 and Most Known Unknown, the latter featured their well known single "Stay Fly", which is said to be the kick start of their rise to fame and the mainstream. The group's worldwide album sales stand at 5.5 million.

Although they're still a group, Juicy J wanted to venture past the Mafia.

While on tour he signed on as a solo artist to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records and Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records. After the signing, he announced that he's working on an album. The album is Juicy J's first solo album since distancing himself from Three 6 Mafia and signing to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records, who makes three appearances on the album.

He released Bandz a Make Her Dance. It was produced by Mike Will (Made It) and it featured Lil' Wayne and 2 Chainz. The single was a smash hit and it went platinum.

That single welcome the world to Juicy J.

Juicy J's album the highly anticipated Stay Trippy is now out. It's a comeback album release. It's the third album released by the rapper. But it's his first album to get such huge buzz this summer. It was ranked very favorable and is one the most anticipated albums of the year.

Again, hip-hop music sales are declining. In order for entertainers in the music industry to stay relevant, they release EPs and mixtapes. That helps them generate buzz for their albums and helps move them into the mainstream (pop culture).

Did you know that Three 6 Mafia won an Academy Award?

Their 2005 song "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from the film Hustle and Flow won Best Original Song at the 78th Academy Awards.

They join Eminem as the only rap performers who managed to score an Academy Award win for Best Original Song.

Wiz Khalifa is signed to Atlantic Records. He is affiliated with Taylor Gang Records and Rostrum Records.

Juicy J is signed Sony Music Group. He is affiliated with Taylor Gang Records and Hypnotized Minds, LLC.

LovelyTi2002 elaborates on the controversy and also the Bounce It video from Juicy J.

Dave Chappelle Doesn't Take Kindly To Hecklers!

Meltdown in Hartford, CT. Entertainer Dave Chappelle doesn't take kind to assholes heckling him.

He is hailed as one of the greatest comedians ever. His often uncanny wits and explorer of issues that you never would talk about made him a very controversial figure.

David Khari Webber "Dave" Chappelle (born August 24, 1973) is an American comedian, screenwriter, television/film producer, actor, and artist.

Dave Chappelle began his film career in the film Robin Hood: Men in Tights in 1993 and continued to star in minor roles in the films The Nutty Professor, Con Air, and Blue Streak. His first lead role in a film was in Half Baked in 1998. In 2003, he became widely known for his popular sketch comedy television series, Chappelle's Show, which ran until his abrupt retirement from the show in 2005. Chappelle is ranked forty-third in Comedy Central Presents: 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time.

Comedian Dave Chappelle had meltdowns during his rise to the top.

This one is classic. Apparently after 10 minutes onstage, the comedian gets pissed at some ignorant hecklers.

He launches into a tirade and dropped the mic and ended the show.

Dave Chappelle was reportedly heckled to the point that he ended his performance in the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival on Thursday night, and walked off stage.

Chappelle was only a few minutes into his act at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Conn., when he stopped telling jokes because the people in front were making too much noise, The Laugh Button reported.

This isn't the first time that Chappelle has reacted to an upset crowd. Last year, he was unable to get through a large portion of his set in Texas due to hecklers. The summer tour was considered to be Chappelle's big return to the stage.

Dave Chappelle was born in Washington, DC. He is a Sunni Muslim and vegetarian. He resides in Yellow Springs, Ohio about twenty miles from Dayton, Ohio.

He is good friends with Kevin Hart, Wayne Brady, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence and Chris Rock.

Ted Nugent: Stevie Wonder "LUCKY" I Don't Shoot A Blind Man!

Ted Nugent pops his mouth off on radio. Firing shots at Stevie Wonder.

The controversial George Zimmerman verdict in Sanford, Florida, has reprimand an economic boycott by many in the American entertainment industry. Stevie Wonder, the legendary musician told the junk food media that he's no longer going to perform in Florida. He wants the state to repeal its "Stand Your Ground" laws.

He managed to get Madonna, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Chris Rock, and other entertainers to boycott the state.

One entertainer is full steam ahead on his plans to perform in Florida. And he's even shoved a firearm in the face of those who are boycotting the state.

Ted Nugent is a washed up rocker who spends most of his time bitching on conservative blogs about liberalism. Nugent is known as the Motor City Madman. A rocker who shoots off rifles. He's a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and is a friend of That Guy Who Helped Obama Win (aka That Scumbag On Loserville).

The madman calls Stevie Wonder "brain-dead" for supporting that "pot-smoking hoodlum" Trayvon Martin.

Going to the radio, Nugent whines about the boycott and says: “So 700 black people, mostly young children and young people were slaughtered in Chicago last year by black people,” Nugent said on the show, “and not a peep out of Stevie Wonder. Are you kidding me?”

Like he cares about Chicago!

Again this is the narrative of the conservative agitators. Bring up Chicago and Detroit. Since they're experience turmoils with gun violence and the mayors are Democrats, scream "liberal racism". Use these cities as examples of Democrat (sic) policies going awry.

“How brain-dead do you have to be?” Nugent asked. “How strangled by denial, how dishonest, how cheap do you have to be to focus on a clear-cut case where all the evidence, from the DOJ, from the FBI, from the army of investigative specialists in Florida determined that George Zimmerman acted in self-defense against a life-threatening attack by hoodlum, dope-smoking Trayvon Martin?”

All of that being said, Nugent said he would “pray” for “Stevie Wonder and all these other numnuts who think that Trayvon Martin’s life is more important than the tens of thousands of slaughtered blacks at the hands of blacks.” Nugent, who is evidently a fan of Wonder’s music, asked, “How do you go from being one of the most soulful people in the world to being absolutely soulless?”

Last week, Nugent penned an op-ed for right-wing website World Nut Daily, in which he referred to Trayvon Martin as an “enraged black man-child” and a “Skittles hoodie boy.”

Earlier this year, Stevie Wonder was furious over the lyrics from rappers Future and Lil' Wayne.

On Future's single Karate Chop, Lil' Wayne said that he'll beat that "bitch's p*ssy up like Emmett Till".

The rapper somewhat apologized for the lyrics, but it lead to him getting his endorsement with Mountain Dew pulled.

Ted Nugent isn't so lucky either. He was banned from U.S. military bases last year. He made some inappropriate comments about President Barack Obama at the NRA Convention in St. Louis in 2012.

The conservative agitators think the protests are "mob riots".
Nugent said that he'll declare himself an "enemy of the state" and would "rise up against the tyranny of this president". He said they'll be "blood spilled" in the name of the Constitution.

He even got his reality television show pulled after a season.

So the more controversy Ted Nugent brings to himself, the more likely he'll get his endorsements (or what's left of his pathetic career) pulled.

Is CNN's Soledad O'Brien On Her Way Out?

Numerous outlets are reporting that veteran CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien is on the chopping block.

The era of Jeff Zucker begins.

The former NBC executive became the president of the struggling cable news network. His first mission is to clean house. As president of CNN, Zucker made it clear that he wants CNN to be on top. With his network struggling in ratings, he's finding the old guard isn't feasible, so he's letting go of the familiar faces.

In the early months, Zucker canned John King, James Carville, Bill Bennett, Mary Matlin, and Erick Erickson. He hired former ABC reporters Jake Tapper, Chris Cuomo and is gunning for Ann Curry (once NBC lets her go)!

With this new vision, some heads will roll. Erin Burnett's primetime program canceled. He wants to put her in the morning spot. So that was done and it left Soledad O'Brien without a spot.

So what's left for her?

The possibility of quitting the network she's been on for nearly 8 years.

The New York Post reports Soledad O’Brien is on her way out at CNN as new boss Jeff Zucker moves Erin Burnett into her morning slot.

We’re told award-winning journalist O’Brien has indicated she is ready to leave after she was initially promised a plum prime-time slot, but that role has so far failed to materialize.

A source tells us: “The deal to move Erin to the morning alongside Chris Cuomo is basically done. Soledad had been told she’d get a prime-time slot, but that hasn’t yet happened, and now she is telling friends she is likely to leave.”

The source added, “Soledad is talented at producing in-depth, serious pieces of journalism, and is a tough interviewer. That doesn’t seem to fit the direction the network is going.”

Another source added, “Soledad is a big star, and would only stay for the right show. There’s word there will be a flurry of announcements at CNN very soon, including Erin’s move to the morning.”

O’Brien jumped from NBC to CNN in 2003, anchoring “American Morning,” and then moved on to anchoring specials. She’s anchored the current morning show, “Starting Point,” since January of last year.

She said in a recent interview that she was sure she would not be hosting a lighter morning show once Zucker, her former boss at NBC, took the reins. “I’m fairly confident that I’m not going to be cooking salmon and doing fashion shows on CNN,” she told the Times.

She added, “Listen, I have been doing this gig for a while. People go crazy with speculation every time there’s a shift in leadership. I can’t comment on every rumor, but so far I’ve read reports on me, Anderson [Cooper], Piers [Morgan], Ann Curry and Erin Burnett, and all that’s clear to me is that somebody’s busy dialing Page Six.”

Soledad, who fronted documentaries “Black in America” and “Latino in America,” was a favorite of former CNN Worldwide president Jim Walton, who stepped down at the end of last year. A CNN rep said, “We don’t comment on speculation.”

Booker's In!

Cory Booker is going to run for U.S. Senate. It's going to be a brutal primary if longtime  New Jersey Democratic senator Frank Lautenberg stays in the race. GOP may use gun issue to win senate races in RED States.

Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-New Jersey) is the oldest living member of the U.S. Senate. So far he hasn't signaled any intentions of retiring from the polarizing circus.

But Newark, New Jersey mayor Cory Booker is dropping the bid to run for governor. He's thinking really seriously about running for the senate seat if Lautenberg should announce retirement. The 43 year old mayor of the "Brick City" is thinking about furthering his political ambitions.

The Superman of New Jersey is an ally of President Barack Obama and Republican governor Chris Christie.

Booker is an African American mayor who gained a reputation for his personal involvement in public service, including going on a 10-day hunger strike outdoors to draw attention to the dangers of open-air drug dealing, living on a "food stamp" budget to raise awareness of food insecurity, shoveling the driveway of a constituent upon request, allowing hurricane victims into his home, and saving a woman from a house fire at his own risk.

Booker has filed for the papers to run in 2014. Booker wants to an elected Black senator since Barack Obama and first for New Jersey.
Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-New Jersey)
Republicans currently have no members of the House of Representatives being Black. Tim Scott was the former Congressman from South Carolina. He was selected to become the U.S. Senator after Jim DeMint resigned from the Senate to work for The Heritage Foundation.

Booker intended on running for governor to take on Chris Christie. But Hurricane Sandy and the handling of the crisis elevated the governor's rating into the high 70s. It would be considered political suicide to take on an incumbent who is liked favorably by constituents.

New Jersey is a likely Blue State for Democrats. The tough fights lie in the Red States. Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-West Virginia) is retiring putting his seat in a competitive race.

Senator Mark Pryor (D-Arkansas), Senator Mark Begich (D-Alaska), Senator Mark Warner (D-Virginia), Senator Kay Hagen (D-North Carolina), Senator Tim Johnson (D-South Dakota) are going to have competitive races.

Republicans have no members signaling retirement. But Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky, Minority Leader) are likely going to face tougher fights.

Conservatives: [White Man] Beaten Up! No Rallies For Justice By Obama And His Merry Band Of Race Hustlers!

Matthewowens
Matthew Owens was allegedly beaten by a vicious mob, after which someone uttered the words, "Now that's justice for Trayvon."

I'm not one to judge this incident as a hate crime. I seen the website where this man was featured. There's a charge of domestic violence on this person a year ago. That doesn't matter though! But what matters is those who attack this man should be arrested. What matters is the ongoing conflict that circulates around the Trayvon Martin shooting. What matters is the conservatives trying to crank up fake outrage to an incident.

One could wonder if the gentleman Matt Owens said something offensive provoking an attack!

Right now, the conservatives are riled up about this! They're online foaming at the mouths screaming about how President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder are ignoring this possible "hate crime".

I can see that every conservative word salad will always include: A racial slur. Ways to say a racial slur without it being flagged. Obama-related themes. Mentions of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the SPLC or the NAACP. Trayvon Martin. Firearm rhetoric. Political hot potatoes. MSNBC. CNN. Chants of liberal media.

The Blaze, The Daily Caller, Michelle Malkin, The Drudge Report, Twitchy, and The Gateway Pundit are already circling the wagons with this story.

While a news reporter was getting ready for her report, an angry parent goes towards the cameras. The Black woman demands the reporter tell the truth about this gentleman and acknowledge that he provoked the incident by threatening them with knives and shouting racial slurs at the teenagers.

First things first. We are a polarizing nation. This Trayvon Martin controversy has a major split between race, gender, and political standings. Those who view this case in favor of Trayvon Martin felt this teenager was wrongfully targeted and killed for what was perceived to be a racially profiling incident. Those who view this in favor of Trayvon Martin, feels that systematic incidents in which Blacks are killed by an offender that is non-black are given leniency while those who are Black face harsher penalties for the very crimes committed. Those who view this case in favor of George Zimmerman felt the young man was wrongfully accused by the media for defending himself from a teenager who was roaming the neighborhood without mentioning he lives there. Those who view this in favor of George Zimmerman felt that even though this tragedy could have been avoided, Zimmerman had no choice but to shoot the the teenager because he felt his life was in danger.

Remember the Chris Rock rule: "There's some [Blacks] who push forward. There's some [Blacks] who send us back!"

Today's actions sets us back! In no way, Americans should act like this. No matter what the outcome, we all as Americans must practice peace and restraint. Being violent isn't going to solve problems. It's only going to kill someone and land those who committed the act in prison.

Why on earth would his brother go to a conservative radio show to rant off about an apparent utter of slain teenager "Trayvon Martin" by an assailant?

Just like every [White and even Black] conservative man! When there's an incident that involves a White person, they're screaming: "See. This is what the liberal media isn't telling you! They talk about Trayvon Martin but void the fact these 'Obama supporters' are violent towards white citizens and Eric Holder isn't concerned about us but his 'borthas'!"

matthew owens mugshot
Matthew Owens mugshot from 2011.
See it's reasons why they're considered the extremists for their reactionary, racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophoic, ignorant, condescending, overreaching, idiotic, pain inducing rants.

I urge you conservatives to put away your hate, ignorance and stupidity. Cause you may feel comfortable in the presence of a home computer, but you realize that if you want to rile up people with this, try harder! Take it to the streets.

Go to the cities and their neighborhoods you claim are crime ridden Democratic strongholds. Go into these neighborhoods with your tea party rhetoric, Obama Derangement syndrome-themed rants and see if someone will notice!

They'll probably call the police on you! Hopefully [urban dwellers] avoid whooping a conservative's ass for the ranting and raving!

Wednesday 12:45 a.m.Mobile police did not make an arrest before the end of the day as they expected. But police are in the process of serving warrants.

Neighbors say Matthew Owens chased off a group of black kids with kitchen knives after the boys lost a basketball in his sister's yard. He was attacked by as many as 20 people with chairs, pipes and paint cans a short time later.

Based on the accusations forom angry neighbors, News 5 did some digging and learned Owens has a violent track record. The Mobile County Metro Jail log shows police have arrested Owens numerous times over the past 12 years for things like domestic violence, assault and sex abuse. His first arrest was November 4, 1990 for assault. The last time officers transported Owens to jail was last March on a domestic violence charge.

Regardless of what happened Saturday night leading up to the beating, police and most people would agree that it is not an excuse to put Owens in the ICU.

Tuesday 8:35 p.m.
Mobile police tell News 5 they still hope to make an arrest in the Matthew Owens case before the end of the night.

Owens was beaten Saturday night in front of his home on Delmar Drive. Witnesses, including Owens sister, say 20 black people attacked Owens with pipes, paint cans and chairs. Owens is still in ICU at USA Medical Center. Weaving in and out of consciousness, Owens told his brother Lloyd, "Don't let me die."

Police continue to downplay the Trayvon Martin connection to the beating. But a neighbor confirms what his sister told News 5. The neighbor, too scared to go on camera, told News 5's Lauren Vargas that they heard one of the suspects say "This is justice for Trayvon" as she drove away.

Tonight, an angry mother who lives on the street told News 5's Blake Brown that the kids who live on Delmar Drive are the real victims.

"Every single day it's a problem with Mr. Owens concerning our kids," Lemica Whisenhunt. "All these kids do is shoot basketball. We keep 'em in the yard. They don't bother anybody.  We'd rather them play basketball than to be around here vandalizing, breaking into people's homes. We try to bring our kids up the right way and show people that all black kids are not bad."

Tuesday 7:30 p.m.
Tensions are running high on Delmar Drive.

Before Lauren Vargas' live shot on News 5 at 5:00, a black woman who lives on the street started yelling at Lauren saying the kids are the real victims.

Tuesday 6:00 p.m.

From his hospital bed and weaving in and out of consciousness, Matthew Owens told his brother Lloyd, "Don't let me die."

Lloyd taked to The Schnitt Show about Saturday's attack on Delmar Drive that landed him in the ICU. Click here to listen to that interview.

Earlier today, Todd Schnitt interviewed News 5's Blake Brown.

Tuesday 3:10 p.m.
Mayor Sam Jones is urging the public not to jump to conclusions and to wait until the investigation is finished.

“Police will certainly explore a racial motive if the evidence supports it,” said Jones. “This type of mob violence will not be tolerated. If people think we are going to tolerate that to bring attention to some national event, they are sorely mistaken. They will be arrested and prosecuted for assault or whatever the appropriate charge may be," he said.

Tuesday 3:05 p.m.
News 5's Lauren Vargas spoke with a neighbor who also heard a member of the mob that beat Matthew Owens say "Now thats justice for Trayvon."

That backs up what Owens' sister, who witnessed the attack from her house across the street, told News 5. Ashey Parker calls it "the scariest thing I have ever witnessed."

Owens' brother, who does not want to be named because he fears for his safety, told News 5 the mob showed up in 3-4 cars full of people.

Tuesday 2:55 p.m.
The Matthew Owens beating case is the focus of The Schnitt Show, a nationally syndicated radio show. Listen live
News 5's Blake Brown was interviewed by Laura Ingraham on her nationally syndicated radio show. Click here to listen to the interview.

Tuesday 12:35 p.m.
Mobile police expect to make arrests in the Matthew Owens beating case today.

Owens is in critical condition at USA Medical Center, three days after police say he was beaten by "multiple people" armed with chairs, pipes and paint cans Saturday night in front of his house on Delmar Drive.

Police are downplaying the Trayvon Martin comment, but the family insists one of the attackers said "Now thats justice for Trayvon" after the attack. Trayvon Martin is the unarmed teenager police say was shot and killed February 26 by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Samford, Florida.

Monday 6:55 p.m.
Mobile police need your help to catch a mob that beat Matthew Owens so badly that he's in critical condition.

According to police, Owens fussed at some kids playing basketball in the middle of Delmar Drive about 8:30 Saturday night. They say the kids left and a group of adults returned, armed with everything but the kitchen sink.

Police tell News 5 the suspects used chairs, pipes and paint cans to beat Owens.

Owens' sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. "It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed." Parker says 20 people, all African American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using "brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on."

Police will only say "multiple people" are involved.

What Parker says happened next could make the fallout from the brutal beating even worse. As the attackers walked away, leaving Owen bleeding on the ground, Parker says one of them said "Now thats justice for Trayvon." Trayvon Martin is the unarmed teenager police say was shot and killed February 26 by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Samford, Florida.

"Citizen Journalist" Jason Mattera ambushes Chris Rock

Jason Mattera, a conservative activist with a known history of controversial statements post an online video confronting comedian/actor Chris Rock. Claiming he wanted to get a picture, the activist corners the comedian with questions about the Tea Party. Chris Rock made comments that stated the Tea Party is reactionary racism towards the first Black president. Mattera is a protege of conservative agitator Michelle Malkin.

Chris Rock violently attacked a journalist's camera in January -- after the guy tried to trap Rock with a question about the comedian's controversial stance on the Tea Party -- and the intense footage has just surfaced.

In case you didn't know -- Rock went OFF on the TP last year in an Esquire interview, claiming, "When I see the Tea Party and all this stuff, it actually feels like racism’s almost over. Because this is the last -- this is the act up before the sleep. They’re going crazy. They’re insane."

So conservative writer Jason Mattera decided to question Rock about his opinion at the Sundance Film Festival in January -- blindsiding Rock with a TP question ... asking, "When you said the Tea Party was insane and racist ..."

But before he could finish his question, Rock tried to walk away. When he discovered his path was blocked by other people, Rock turned around and grabbed Mattera's camera and wrestled it to the ground.

A rep for Chris says the actor's attorney is looking into the video.

Rush Limbaugh is losing over 100 sponsors since his attack against Sandra Fluke, many are calling for a boycott on him and other conservative agitators.  Since then many conservative agitators are trying blame comedians (that's right comedians) for the exodus of advertising being pulled from Rush Limbaugh's program., conservatives are trying to "hypocrisy" by entertainers supportive of President Barack Obama.

Bill Maher, Chris Rock and David Letterman aren't as influential to the Democratic Party. They are paid entertainers who make a living on telling comedy that is raunchy, explicit and damn funny!

Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Pat Robertson, Grover Norquist, Fox News and NRA carry strong influence to the Republican Party and its allies in the conservative movement. They control the outcomes of elections and they are influences to how Republicans govern.

Update: Mattera was trying to ambush U2 frontman and activist Bono, and ended up duped by an imposter.

Audio: Chris Rock surprised by reaction to Good Hair

Use the link below to listen to Chris Rock discuss the negative reaction to his documentary Good Hair.He discusses the postings on black web sites and message boards. He also wonders out loud why it is okay to display black men in the worst light but why we can't even discuss black women's hair.
