Drake released the highly anticipated album VIEWS (formerly Views from the 6). The release on Universal Republic Records is the most talked about album this week.
Drake released it through APPLE Music and it's expected to go platinum as well. The album has 20 tracks and it has features from Jay-Z, Kanye West, PartyNEXTDoor, the late Pimp C and long time collaborator Future.
Drake announced another tour with Future. Could there be a sophomore to What a Time to Be Alive?
On the album cover, you see Drake sitting on Toronto's CN Tower.
The album came out at 11:59pm Thursday and many fans went and cop it. The songs were previewed on OVO Radio throughout the day.
Drake teamed up with APPLE Music to have his music exclusively released.
Another thing that is noted about the album. There is no members of Young Money or Cash Money on this album.
So in other words, get the VIEWS.

Birdman goes to The Breakfast Club to whine about the hosts giving his rivals Rick Ross and Trick Daddy airtime. The rappers agreed that Birdman screwed Lil' Wayne over the scrapped Tha Carter V.
Birdman decided to pay Angie Yee, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God a visit.
Birdman who is an affiliate with the Bloods, a domestic terrorist group (street gang) gave Charlamagne a warning shot. He said, "I'm pulling up on you, nigga!!"

The civil war within the Cash Money camp seems to be over.
Lil' Wayne and Birdman patched things up for the time being. The two were on some bitter shit for almost a year now. They were trading insults online, in the studio and inside the courtroom.

According to TMZ, Young Money president Mack Maine arranged for a phone call between Wayne and Birdman just hours before they met up at Drake’s New Year’s Eve party in Miami. They reportedly discussed their issues including the millions Birdman allegedly owes Wayne.
The two have “strong feelings” about squashing their beef. However, Wayne is not willing to dismiss his $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money Records unless they reach an agreement.

Just a week ago, the world lost iconic rocker David Bowie, now tonight its with sad news that we have to report that The Eagles front man and pioneering rock legend Glenn Frey passed away.
"Glenn fought a courageous battle for the past several weeks but, sadly, succumbed to complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia," reads a post on the band's official website.
Frey had been suffering from intestinal issues, which caused the postponement of the band's inclusion in the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors.
The Eagles were founded in Los Angeles by Glenn, along with his friends Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Rand Meisner. They started their gig in 1971 as a traveling band for Linda Ronstadt.
They were all experienced musicians who forged a laid-back, country-tinged sound that the Eagles would eventually make famous.
"We are all in a state of shock, disbelief and profound sorrow," Don Henley said in a statement Monday. "I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet.
"It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it," Henley added. "But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some."
Throughout the early- to mid-1970s, Frey and the band released hit after hit, leading a renaissance of mellow California singer-songwriters with such artists as Ronstadt and Jackson Browne.

Frey and Henley co-wrote many of the band's biggest songs, including "Best of My Love," "Lyin' Eyes," "One of These Nights" and "Hotel California." Frey also famously helped Browne finish writing the Eagles' first hit, "Take It Easy," contributing the catchy verse, "it's a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford / slowing down to take a look at me."
Frey played guitar and keyboard and took lead vocal duties for the band on tunes like "Take it Easy" and "Tequila Sunrise."
With "Hotel California" in 1976, the band reached the pinnacle of its success, selling 16 million copies. They released four number one albums consecutively between 1975 and 1979: "One of These Nights," "Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975," "Hotel California" and "The Long Run."
"Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975," was the first album certified platinum and has sold 29 million copies in the United States, second only to Michael Jackson's "Thriller," according to Rolling Stone.
The Eagles have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. But while public reception was warm, the band had a prickly relationship with many critics.
"Another thing that interests me about the Eagles is that I hate them," wrote rock critic Robert Christgau in 1972, when they first hit it big.
The band succumbed to internal squabbles and broke up in 1980. Frey, Henley and other band members were famously contentious.
With his pop sensibilities and gift for melody, Frey was an ideal songwriting counterbalance to Henley's seriousness and penchant for weighty social statements.
"He was like a brother to me," Henley went on to say Monday. "We were family, and like most families, there was some dysfunction. But, the bond we forged 45 years ago was never broken, even during the 14 years that the Eagles were dissolved."
Frey saw solo success with the 1982 release "No Fun Aloud." He hit the top 40 with "The Heat Is On," "You Belong to the City," "True Love," and "Soul Searchin.'"
He also tried his hand at acting with a guest spot on "Miami Vice" and a small role in the 1996 film "Jerry Maguire," among other credits.
The Eagles reunited for 1994's Hell Freezes Over tour, which spawned an MTV special and a live album. They would continue to tour together over the years.
"Words can neither describe our sorrow, nor our love and respect for all that he has given to us, his family, the music community & millions of fans worldwide," the band said on its website Monday.

Los Angeles will get a football team. They will play in Inglewood, CA
It comes as no surprise that St. Louis isn't happy about this development. Mayor Francis Slay is really pissed about the NFL's decision to have the city's professional football team move back to Los Angeles. The Gateway to the West hosted the Rams for over 20 years. They had a somewhat good relationship until recently.
This departure stemmed from the city refusing to build a $4 billion dollar stadium. The city cites revenue cost and taxpayers refusal to pass levies to grant the leasing of a stadium.
In unanimous vote of 30-2, the NFL owners decided that time was now for Los Angeles to have a professional team. They decided St. Louis, the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers
The move really shocked the fans and probably many around the St. Louis metro area.
Now the fears of San Diego losing their Chargers and Oakland losing their Raiders happen to surge in the news.
St. Louis was hoping to please the NFL by giving them a riverfront stadium. It failed.
The Los Angeles Times reported that St. Louis business executive Stan Kroenke and Stockbridge Capital Group were partnering up in developing a new NFL stadium on the Inglewood property owned by Kroenke. The project would include an 80,000-seat stadium and a 6,000-seat performance venue, while re-configuring the previously approved Hollywood Park plan for up to 890,000 square feet of retail, 780,000 square feet of office space, 2,500 new residential units, a 300-room hotel and 25 acres of public parks, playgrounds, open space and pedestrian and bicycle access. The stadium would likely be ready by 2019.
The Rams will relocate to the City of Champions Stadium in Inglewood, California.
In lieu of this, St. Louis countered with a stadium plan for the north riverfront area of downtown, with the hope of keeping the Rams franchise in the city. On February 24, 2015, the Inglewood City Council approved the stadium and the initiative with construction on the stadium planned to begin in December 2015.
The day following the conclusion of the 2015 regular season, the Rams, Raiders, and Chargers all filed to relocate to Los Angeles. The same day, the NFL announced that any franchise approved for relocation would need to pay a $550 million relocation fee.

He says that he's not in the business of political correctness. He's in the business of finding couples to find love. He said that he dated Black and Hispanic women....
The site's founder, Sam Russell, anticipated some backlash from his startup, which is why he told the Washington Post that he isn't racist.
"It's about equal opportunity," Russell said. "The last thing in the world I am is racist. I dated a black woman once. I helped raise a young black man… I just believe it’s hypocrisy to say ‘one group can do this, but another can't.'"
Russell added that his site which launched in December "is not racially motivated in any way," and his policies prohibit racist or hateful messages.

Now in the courtroom, a tearful Meek Mill tells Judge that he's no gangsta. He said that his girl [Queen] Nicki Minaj turned his life over. He apologized for taking shots at the district attorney on his now panned sophomore album "Dreams Worth More Than Money".

Philly.com reports that Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley hinted that the North Philadelphia rapper's next out-of-town tour - after he is sentenced Feb. 5 - could be the iron college.
"I bent over backward to give him every opportunity to grow his career," Brinkley told defense lawyer Frank DeSimone at the end of the 51/2-hour, virtually nonstop hearing.
Mill, born Robert Williams, and a courtroom packed with his supporters and entourage, including superstar girlfriend Nicki Minaj, seemed stunned by the judge's words.

"I know the people who support you really want you to get probation," Brinkley told Mill. "I don't know that would be appropriate because you and I have been around the block a few times."
"I know, your honor," he quietly replied.
Though Mill will not be sentenced for seven weeks, the judge's interim restrictions ended his ability to earn money in the music business.
Brinkley barred Mill from performing anywhere, and limited his travel to the five counties of Southeastern Pennsylvania. He may not even commute to New Jersey to visit his mother, who underwent spine surgery in October.
The judge did permit Mill to do charity work that does not involve performing.
Mill's entertainment management company, Roc Nation, presented the judge with a package of charity and philanthropic ventures - most involving inner-city schools and prison outreach -* in which Mill had expressed interest.

Mill testified for about an hour, assuring the judge that he had not purposely defied his probation.
Sounding contrite, Mill praised Brinkley for helping him turn his life around, and said he holds her in the same esteem as his mother, grandmother, sister, and girlfriend.
"I would never dishonor and disrespect you knowing that you are the person who gave me the shot to change my life," he told Brinkley.
After the hearing, Mill quickly doffed his black suit jacket and gray necktie. Court security officers escorted Mill, Minaj - who wore a plum jacket and black skirt - and their entourage to a restricted area containing elevators used by judges and court officials to exit the building.
Neither Mill nor Minaj said a word to reporters.
The case was a routine drug and gun matter in 2008. Mill was convicted, served eight months in the iron college, and then began five years' probation in the fall of 2009.
Since then, his problems following the rules for all probationers - reporting to a probation officer and getting prior approval for out-of-town travel - got him sentenced to an additional five months in the iron college back in 2013.
Assistant District Attorney Noel Ann DeSantis and Probation Officer Treas Underwood outlined a series of alleged probation violations since July, most involving Mill's travels to cities not on his court-approved itinerary or without notifying Underwood.
DeSantis also cited a November urine sample that a technician alleged Mill either diluted with cold water or used another substance to mask illegal drug use. Mill denied doing either, and said the technician threw out the sample and would not permit him to provide another.
Meek Mill's mentor Rick Ross took shots at Drake. Meek and Rozay are members of the Maybach Music mafia.
As in 2013, much of Mill's problems seemed to involve problems in communication among him, his entourage and management, and the probation and court system.
And, as in 2013, Mill on Thursday had an impressive list of supporters vowing to work with him to improve the North Philadelphia community: music legend Kenny Gamble, who said he wanted Mill to work with his charter schools and community projects; Jimmie Moore, a former Municipal Court judge now working with residents and youths in North Philadelphia; and Philadelphia music manager Shawn Gee, who has worked with Minaj and offered to help teach Mill how to manage life in the entertainment business.
Gee warned that Mill's earning ability could be dramatically harmed by any break in his career. Gee said most rap musicians earn the bulk of their revenue through short-notice, one-shot appearances, not recordings.
Gee said Mill's impact on Philadelphia could be immense: "One of the things I noticed is that it's not just the kids in the 'hood, it's kids from Lower Merion. The impact he can have because of the power of his voice can be tremendous."
