| Why does the U.S. care about this man? |
We just witnessed Renee Good get shot in the face by an ICE agent and there are protests here in the United States. The very same folks running the U.S. government called this woman a domestic terrorist.
Who the fuck are we to tell another country about the freedoms to protests?
Iran has stated that the U.S. and Israel have constantly tried to destabilize their government. They have launched attacks on its sovereignty in 2025. They are aware of organic protests which is legal in Iran. However if the protests are in threat of violence and calls of regime change, Iran does detain individuals. It could carry the death card if the protesters are violent.
Some protesters have also begun chanting in support of Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of deposed Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and the heir to the former Pahlavi monarchy.
Pahlavi is a staunch supporter of the Israeli regime. The U.S. and Israel want to install him once they topple the Iranian government.
The Iranian government called the people they arrested in weeks of arrest as agitators working on behalf of the Mossad, Israel's lethal intelligence force.
One agitator is expected to be executed after he was arrested for allegedly starting fires and providing protesters with weapons to target federal officials of Iran.
The U.S. and European Union are signal boasting this. They are calling for Iran to not do this.
Erfan Soltani, 26, who was arrested last week during the protests in Karaj near the capital, Tehran, is scheduled to be hanged to death on Wednesday without getting a proper trial, according to human rights groups.
I bolded the letters of his name. If you put it together it says Israel.
"His family was told that he had been sentenced to death and that the sentence is due to be carried out on 14 January," Norway-based NGO Iran Human Rights (IHR) reported, quoting sources.
IHR said it had confirmed 648 people killed during the protests, including nine minors, but warned that the number of deaths was likely much higher -- "according to some estimates, more than 6,000". The internet shutdown has made it "extremely difficult to independently verify these reports," IHR said, adding that an estimated 10,000 people had been arrested.
"The widespread killing of civilian protesters in recent days by the Islamic Republic is reminiscent of the regime's crimes in the 1980s, which have been recognised as crimes against humanity," IHR Director Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam said.
His family was notified four days after his arrest that the execution was scheduled for January 14, the organisation said in a statement. It added that the death sentence was issued following a “rapid and opaque” judicial process.
Hengaw added that Soltani has been deprived of basic rights, including access to legal counsel. It said that his family has also been kept uninformed about the process.
