| It's a wrap for the controversial white nationalist Marjorie Taylor Greene. |
On Monday (well technically last Friday) will be Marjorie Taylor Greene's last day in Congress. She will leave Congress a broken but independent conservative. Her years of chaos abruptly ended when the president she spent damn near six years supporting turned on her. He literally called her a "traitor" because she held him accountable to the promises that he made. Greene knew she would not survive a primary challenge if the president backed her opponent.
Now Greene will ended up a public figure who will fight like hell to prevent President Donald J. Trump and his acolytes from destroying the United States. She will marry her boyfriend Brian Glenn and soon be called Marjorie Taylor Glenn.
As the news broke the president conducted an invasion of Venezuela and apprehension of its president, Nicolás Maduro. Trump not only violated international law but went over Congress to conduct this. This whole incident is not only split among Americans but broke the precedent of respect of sovereignty.
Now any country can apprehend a foreign leader at any given time.
Attorney General Pam Bondi have introduced her criminal indictment. It claims that Maduro is accused of distributing cocaine, machine guns and plots against the interest of the United States and its allies. These charges are a damn stretch because they will literally have prove that a foreign leader conspired with 35 million Venezuelans to cause harm to the United States. The accusations were that Maduro was a leader in the distribution of fentanyl.
I’ve served on the Homeland Security Committee for the past three years. I’m 100% for strong safe secure borders and stopping narco terrorists and cartels from trafficking deadly drugs and human trafficking into America.

Fentanyl is responsible for over 70% of U.S. drug…
Almost every Trump voter I see on X is so fed up they are planning a 2026 tax revolt.
— Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸 (@RepMTG) December 31, 2025
And rightfully so!
It’s because Americans work their asses off, barely make ends meet, and the government consistently gives their hard earned tax dollars to foreign countries, foreign wars,…
While I normally will say the suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, the charges against Maduro and Cilia Flores are trumped up. They will find it difficult to prove their case.
Venezuela has demanded the United Nations to hold the U.S. accountable. It will likely be brushed off like every resolution to hold Israel accountable. Hell every resolution to hold Russia accountable has not crippled the federation. In fact, it made them even more extreme as they continue to destroy Ukraine.
Greene, 51 has officially turned on Trump. She is disappointed that she worked tirelessly for nothing. She stated that Republicans need to get their act together when it comes to women and people of color. She even dropped the scary Muslim rhetoric for now. Still attacking transgender Americans and demonizing people who are not Christian.
In a statement released on X on Saturday, Greene said her three years on the Homeland Security Committee had reinforced her belief in border security while exposing contradictions in U.S. foreign and security policy.
“I’ve served on the Homeland Security Committee for the past three years. I’m 100% for strong, safe, secure borders and stopping narco terrorists and cartels from trafficking deadly drugs and human trafficking into America,” she said.
Greene cited fentanyl as the leading cause of drug overdose deaths in the U.S., adding: “Fentanyl is responsible for over 70% of U.S. drug overdose deaths and fentanyl comes from Mexican cartels made with chemical precursors from China and trafficked across the U.S.-Mexico border.”
She argued that Mexican cartels bear the greatest responsibility for drug related deaths in the U.S., saying they are “primarily and overwhelmingly responsible for killing Americans with deadly drugs.”
Questioning Washington’s foreign policy priorities, Greene asked why U.S. military action had focused on Venezuela rather than cartels operating across the southern border.
“If U.S. military action and regime change in Venezuela was really about saving American lives from deadly drugs then why hasn’t the Trump admin taken action against Mexican cartels?” she asked.
She also criticised the decision to pardon former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernandez, stating: “Why did President Trump pardon the former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez who was convicted and sentenced for 45 years for trafficking hundreds of tons of cocaine into America?”
Greene claimed efforts to remove Maduro were driven by energy interests, saying: “By removing Maduro this is a clear move for control over Venezuelan oil supplies that will ensure stability for the next obvious regime change war in Iran.”
She further questioned what she described as double standards in global conflicts. “Why is it ok[ay] for America to militarily invade, bomb, and arrest a foreign leader but Russia is evil for invading Ukraine and China is bad for aggression against Taiwan?” she said, adding: “Is it only ok[ay] if we do it? (I’m not endorsing Russia or China).”
The congresswoman said growing public anger was linked to rising living costs at home while taxpayer funds are directed abroad. “Regime change, funding foreign wars, and American’s tax dollars being consistently funneled to foreign causes… while Americans are consistently facing increasing cost of living, housing, healthcare… is what has most Americans enraged,” she said.
Greene argued that younger generations in particular are rejecting what she called “never ending military aggression”, concluding that neither major U.S. party currently offers solutions focused on domestic economic prosperity.
Trump has a job approval of 34%. This latest distraction will not change much.
Republicans give him at least 80% favorably. Democrats give him 10% favorably. Independents give him 14% favorably.
Greene's departure will be in the Midway Wrap Up.
