Sgt. Joe Albert, a spokesperson for Columbus Police, said they were aware of the trend circulating social media and said the public should report concerns.
"The Division remains committed to the safety and well-being of all Columbus residents and communities, and encourages the public to report any concerns through the appropriate channels," Albert said.
And Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther's office also said residents should call the police if others are trespassing or harassing them at day cares.
