SCOTUS Justices Can't Eat In Peace!

Can I enjoy my steak and beer in peace?

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the six justices are no longer enjoying the privileges of being a judicial celebrity. The far right is outraged over Supreme Court associate Justice Karen Kavanaugh being harassed at a Washington, DC elite steakhouse. The justice and his wife had to flee the establishment after a peaceful protest interrupted his dinner. Fox commentator Karen Doocy was badgering White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre over this.

When the court overturned Roe v. Wade it rocked the United States. It ended the privacy of women and their doctors. OBGYN doctors who perform termination are now at risk of being imprisoned because of these draconian states and their stupid culture wars. The decision was a win for white nationalism and Christian extremism.

Women who are now forced to give birth to their children if they were raped. Girls who are raped or impregnated by incest are forced to give birth to their children. Trans men are forced to give birth to their children as well. Almost 30 states have statewide bans on abortion. 

Republicans are upset at President Joe Biden over the fact that he won't outright condemn the actions that put the Supreme Court Justices' lives in danger.

Is this the new way of pivoting from the mass shootings in America? 

Or is this just Fox being Fox?

What gets me riled up about the Republican Party in the white nationalists that run in that party, is the very fact that they claim there for freedom only if it applies to their extreme views. They're upset over women and men protesting Supreme Court Justice in the public place. 

They want to ban people from protesting at Supreme Court Justice houses and want to roll back more freedoms when it comes to women's rights, civil rights, LGBTQ rights and voter rights. And yet they're upset over a fucking justice not being able to eat a damn steak. 

I believe Kavanaugh brought it on himself as well as Idiot Karen Barrett, Karen Alito, Coon Thomas, Karen Gorsuch, and Chief Justice Karen Roberts.

Yesterday, the president signed an executive order outlining all he can do to prevent States from criminally charging women who travel across state lines to have an abortion.

ried the court's decision two weeks ago as "extreme" and "totally wrong."

The president also urged women, specifically, to practice their "political power" by showing up to vote in record numbers this November, stating it's the "fastest way" to reverse the court's ruling by giving congressional Democrats the majorities they need to the codify abortion rights into federal law.

"This isn't some imagined horror," Biden said. "It is already happening. Just last week, it was reported that a 10-year-old girl was a rape victim -- 10 years old -- and she was forced to have to travel out of state to Indiana to seek to terminate the pregnancy and maybe save her life."

"Imagine being that little girl," he continued. "I'm serious, just imagine being that little girl."

 

He urged voters to make a decision on whether they care about women's rights or Washed Up 45's and Republican extremism.

Biden is also ordering the Department of Health and Human Services to take "additional action to protect and expand" access to medication abortion, emergency contraception and IUDs.

The agency is instructed to increase outreach and public education efforts regarding access to reproductive health care services -- abortion included -- to get reliable information to the public.

Patient privacy is another part of Biden's order, which takes additional measures to address the transfer and sale of sensitive health-related data, combat digital surveillance related to reproductive health care services and protects people from fraudulent and deceptive practices.

Last week, Democratic governors urged Biden to use federal facilities and land for abortion services.

His order largely finalizes what has already been announced by the administration -- including instructions to the Justice Department to make sure women can travel out-of-state for abortion care.

The order addresses the elevated risks for patients, providers and clinics, which includes efforts to protect mobile clinics that have been deployed to state borders to offer care for out-of-state patients.

Biden's action, the White House said, directs Attorney General Merrick Garland and the White House counsel to convene volunteer lawyers and organizations to "encourage robust legal representation of patients, providers, and third parties lawfully seeking or offering reproductive health care services throughout the country."

Biden has also said he'll provide leave for federal workers traveling for medical care, which could set an example for private companies to do the same.
