I often believe that many jurors will often side with the cops on the shooting of unarmed individuals.
This is another victory and a long way to go before we see justice for those who were murdered at the hands of law enforcement. Mind you, a cop is a human being. They are not machines.
They have normal lives. They want to go home too. We want to go home.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
THERE IS NO GOD!

The former Dallas cop who killed Botham Jean was found guilty of murder. In the state of Texas, murder could put this dirty cop in the iron college for five to LIFE. The dirty cop was sobbing after the court adjourned for recess.
A huge relief to the family of Mr. Jean. He didn't deserve this.
The jury deliberated for hours to decide the fate of this dirty cop. They determined that dirty cop was distracted sexting her lover. They determined that she failed to use non-lethal instruments that she had on her belt. They determined she failed to render aid to a person injured. They determined that she destroyed evidence by deleting texts. They determined that the Dallas Police were trying to give her special treatment because "she went to the wrong apartment." They determined in the 9-1-1 audio that the dirty cop was more concerned about her job, her family and the potential of time in the iron college than the life of the victim.
No, it was reckless endangerment. It was not the castle doctrine. No it was unlawful to shoot an individual without merit.

The trial was controversial. The Dallas Police and its union were trying to change the venue. The lead investigator in this, a Texas Ranger believed that the dirty cop did nothing wrong in his opinion.
They may have planted evidence in his apartment. Because they have searched his apartment and found marijuana and a scale. They tried to make the case about the victim.
The dirty cop was allegedly having an affair with her partner. She was spotted on camera texting her partner about being "Super Horny" and thinking about going out later that night.

THE POLICE AND JUNK FOOD MEDIA TRY TO MAKE THE VICTIM, "THE BAD GUY" BY BRINGING UP HIS PAST HISTORY, HIS SOCIAL MEDIA OR HIS FAMILY LIFE.
WHENEVER SOMEONE COMPLAINS ABOUT LACK OF BLACK FATHERS, I CONTINUE TO DENOUNCE THIS BULLSHIT. I REMIND THEM THAT THE POLICE KILL BLACK FATHERS. THE POLICE LEAVE CHILDREN OF COLOR WITHOUT A BLACK FATHER. AND NO AMOUNT OF MONEY COULD BRING THE PEACE AND TRANQUILITY TO THE FAMILIES OF THOSE KILLED BY THE COPS.
FOR EVERY BAD COP, THERE WILL BE A DEAD COP!
I DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET OR THE COP'S VERSION.
EXPECT MORE COPS SHOOTING UNARMED OR LEGALLY ARMED PEOPLE OF COLOR.

BEING A COP IS A THANKLESS JOB. THEY CONTINUE TO SERVE AND PROTECT IN AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS JOB.
The dirty cop could appeal the sentence and ask for a change of venue. I just hope they don't get a change of venue.
