Queen Nicki Shades BET!

Nicki Minaj canceled BET's check.
BET is forced to apologize to Nicki Minaj after the network's social media platform dissed her.

Onika Maraj is a rapper, singer, songwriter, actress and model. She is also a troll bawse.

Nicki Minaj lost the best rap album to rival Cardi B and BET decided to mock the situation.

The tweet came shortly.

And I quote:

"MEANWHILE NICKI MINAJ IS BEING DRAGGED BY HER LACEFRONT."

That prompt the entertainer to have her set pulled. She also announced that Young Money Entertainment will no longer do business with BET.

That means no Nicki Minaj. No Drake. No Lil' Wayne. No concert. No revenue.

BET had to do some serious damage control after this fiasco.

BET is making it clear the tweet targeting Nicki was unauthorized. The network says, “BET loves Nicki Minaj. We have supported her from the very beginning of her career and will continue to do so moving forward. Nicki has paved the way for so many performers and has solidified her place as one of the most powerful figures in the music industry."

The statement continues ... "Unfortunately the respect we have for Nicki was violated by this post that should never have been written. The post does not reflect how we feel about Nicki. And further does not reflect our company values. We deeply apologize for the hurt, disappointment and confusion that this post has caused. We are committed to doing everything we can to address the situation."

BET also says, "We are also conducting an internal audit to assure these types of posts are not published again.  We have apologized to Nicki and her team. The post has been removed and we have taken additional appropriate action. We understand Nicki’s position and look forward to continuing our dialogue with her. Finally, we apologize to all of her fans. This should have never happened."

Cardi B reportedly responded to the controversy around her Grammy win and the Nicki Minaj issue in a now-deleted Instagram video.

"I work hard for my fucking album," she said, adding. "I remember last year when I didn’t win for 'Bodak Yellow' and everybody was like, 'Cardi got snubbed.' ... Now this year's a fucking problem?"

The 26-year-old rapper went on saying, “It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else. ... I don't support that.”

Cardi B has since deactivated her Instagram account.

There has been no public response from Minaj since BET issued the apology, but the 36-year-old did thank fans on Twitter for supporting her.
