Alex Désert is the voice of Nick Fury on Marvel's The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. He is also best known for playing the blind newsstand owner Jake on the CBS sitcom Becker. Now he's a permanent fixture on The Simpsons.
Fox Entertainment announced that Désert will voice minority characters and replace Hank Azaria's role as Carl Carlson, Homer Simpson's friend at the Springfield Nuclear Plant.
Carl who is been voiced by Azaria since its beginning resigned from his roles as minority characters.
He said he will no longer play any characters of color. That includes Apu, Drederick Tatum, Bumblebee Man and Dr. Nick Riviera. He will still play Chief Wiggum, Moe, Cletus, Snake, Disco Stu, Comic Book Guy, Professor Fink and other characters on The Simpsons.
In February, Azaria announced The Simpsons will write out Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. He is the iconic recurring character who owned the local Kwik-E Mart in Springfield. Those in the Indian and South Asian community believe Apu gave a negative stereotype to their culture.
The Simpsons is America's longest running animated series. In Season 32, the show will no longer have white actors portray characters of color.
Matt Groening, Al Jean and the Fox staff came to the conclusion that The Simpsons are "Moving forward .... [The Simpsons] will no longer have white actors voice non-white characters."
Harry Shearer who has voiced Dr. Hibbert, Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders, Principal Seymour Skinner, Smithers, Scratchy and other characters was query to the rule.
"I have a very simple belief about acting," he told Times Radio. "The job of the actor is to play someone who they're not. That's the gig. That's the job description.
"I'm not a rich nuclear plant owner. I'm not a Bible-believing Christian that lives next to Homer. I'm not any of those people .... The former campaign manager for Donald J. Trump is being held in a hospital because he bugged out. He will be facing domestic violence charges. Allegedly he tried to put a bullet to his head and tried to take his estranged wife with him.
Brad Parscale was armed with a firearm and threatened to harm himself at his luxury Fort Lauderdale home on Sunday according to police and campaign officials.
Police responded to the home in the upscale Seven Isles neighborhood around 4pm in reference to a man barricaded inside a house. When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with the woman, identified as Candice Blount, who had called 9-1-1. She told the law that Parscale was armed, had access to multiple firearms inside the house and threatened to kill himself.
Blount had that Parscale made suicidal comments in recent days and had a physical altercation with her, according to an incident report released on Monday. A responding officer noticed several bruises on both of her arms that she came from that altercation.
Records confirm that the property in the 2300 block of Desota Drive in Fort Lauderdale. The junk food media talked to neighbors who confirmed that the home belonged to Parscale.
The law had the man committed under the Baker Act. He will be placed under psychiatric evaluation for 72 hours before being hauled to the county lockup for domestic violence and unwanted endangerment.
There were no shots fired from the home and no one else was injured.
The law serves Parscale a concrete sandwich.
The Trump presidential campaign released a statement.

Parscale was demoted from campaign manager after the infamous Tulsa rally.
He was targeted by the anti-Trump group The Lincoln Project which depicted him as a glitzy hustler who stole money from the Trump campaign. He used the money on luxury cars, prostitutes and travels.
Parscale is a 6'8'' man with a reddish hair and a beard. He is the most visible member of Trump's campaign. He would sign autographs and pass out Make America Great Again hats at the rallies.
Trump's scale-back rallies have at least under 10,000 attendees. The Tulsa rally which was expected to have 20,000 attendees was reduced to a measly 6,000. Herman Cain, the far-right Black agitator died shortly after attending the rally. Cain caught the coronavirus a few days after attending that event. Trump's brother Robert allegedly died from the coronavirus as well.
Under Florida's Red Flag Law, Parscale could be banned from owning firearms once released from custody.
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The New York Times released a bombshell story about Donald J. Trump's taxes. It was revealed that he only paid $750 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017.
Trump already dismissed the story as "phony and fake."
Documents show that Trump paid no income taxes in 10 out of the previous 15 years, according to a report by the Times. He said to have reported losing more money than he made on his properties.
That's despite receiving $427.4 million through 2018 from his reality television program, The Apprentice and other endorsements and licensing deals. He also makes a salary of $400,000.
Trump, who has fiercely guarded his tax filings and is the only president in modern times not to make them public, paid no federal income taxes in 10 of the past 15 years.
The details of the tax filings complicate Trump’s description of himself as a shrewd and patriotic businessman, revealing instead a series of financial losses and income from abroad that could come into conflict with his responsibilities as president. The president’s financial disclosures indicated he earned at least $434.9 million in 2018, but the tax filings reported a $47.4 million loss.
The disclosure, which the Times said comes from tax return data it obtained extending over two decades, comes at a pivotal moment ahead of the first presidential debate Tuesday and weeks before a divisive election against Democrat Joe Biden.
Speaking at a news conference Sunday at the White House, Trump dismissed the report as “fake news” and said he has paid taxes, though he gave no specifics. He also vowed that information about his taxes “will all be revealed,” but he offered no timeline for the disclosure and made similar promises during the 2016 campaign on which he never followed through.
In fact, the president has fielded court challenges against those seeking access to his returns, including the U.S. House, which is suing for access to Trump’s tax returns as part of congressional oversight.
During his first two years as president, Trump received $73 million from foreign operations, which in addition to his golf properties in Scotland and Ireland included $3 million from the Philippines, $2.3 million from India and $1 million from Turkey. The president in 2017 paid $145,400 in taxes in India and $156,824 in the Philippines, compared to just $750 in U.S. income taxes.
Trump found multiple ways to reduce his tax bills. He has taken tax deductions on personal expenses such as housing, aircraft and $70,000 in haircare. Losses in the property businesses solely owned and managed by Trump appear to have offset income from his stake in the television show “The Apprentice” and other entities with multiple owners.

During the first two years of his presidency, Trump relied on business tax credits to reduce his tax obligations. The Times said $9.7 million worth of business investment credits that were submitted after Trump requested an extension to file his taxes allowed him to reduce his income and pay just $750 each in 2016 and 2017.
Trump, starting in 2010, claimed and received an income tax refund that totaled $72.9 million, which the Times said was at the core of an ongoing audit by the IRS. The president has declined to release his taxes because of the audit.
A lawyer for the Trump Organization, Alan Garten, and a spokesperson for the Trump Organization did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Associated Press on the report.
Garten told the Times that “most, if not all, of the facts appear to be inaccurate.”
He said in a statement to the news organization that the president “has paid tens of millions of dollars in personal taxes to the federal government, including paying millions in personal taxes since announcing his candidacy in 2015.”
The New York Times said it declined to provide Garten with the tax filings in order to protect its sources.
During his first general election debate against Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016, Clinton said that perhaps Trump wasn’t releasing his tax returns because he had paid nothing in federal taxes.

The incident happened in November 2019, and now a grand jury has decided to formally charge the ex-cop with criminal negligent homicide and manslaughter. What happened?
Back in November 2019, a white man called the law on a report of a woman being unconscious behind a business. The dirty cop did a welfare check on the woman. When he saw her bull mastodon dog approach him, he immediately tried to shoo it back but then he drew his service weapon.
When the dog got closer to the cop, he fired three rounds, grazing the dog but ending up shooting Maggie in the abdomen around the lower torso.
The cop claimed he feared for his life and believed the dog was attacking him.
The young mother was living on hard times but wasn't considered a threat to the cop.
The dirty cop was booked in the Tarrant County lockup in Fort Worth. He was held without a get out free card. He must appear towards a magistrate.

Brooks' father who works as a first responder was shocked to find out the cops killed his daughter in such a reckless matter. He went to Inside Edition to tell the world that most first responders have pepper spray and Tasers to restrain suspects and dogs. She claimed that she believed he was an intruder. The ex-cop is trying to appeal her 10 year bid in the iron college. If she does get a retrial, she could face 45 years in the iron college. The ex-cop claims she was given a bias trial.
The family of Botham Jean and the judge were Black and they hugged her. The family forgives her but are suing for the city of Dallas and her police pension.

Trump sought to draw contrasts between his plan for the Black community and Joe Biden's proposals, arguing that Biden "inflicted" damage on the Black community over the last 47 years he's spent working in Washington, DC.
Trump strength is in Black male voters. The ones who are not educated.
Biden has at least 85% of the Black vote.

Apparently jaywalking and being homeless is a crime where police can use deadly force.
Protests broke out in the affluent Orange County, California city of San Clemente. The cops shot an unarmed Black man. According to the Orange County Sheriff's department, the man tried to reach for a deputy's gun during a struggle.
The victim, Kurt Reinhold, 42 died on Wednesday after two deputies from the sheriff's department's Homeless Outreach Team encountered him about 1:12pm near the Hotel Miramar, Sheriff Don Barnes said in a news conference.
A physical altercation happened when Reinhold "grabbed one of the deputies' weapons and appears to have tried to bring it out of the holster." It's unclear if Reinhold completely unholstered the weapon.
"It was a significant struggle with Mr. Reinhold that went on for some time, and the deputy did state four different times, 'He got my gun,' on four separate occasions," Barnes said, citing a video independently provided by a witness.
The Orange County Sheriff says they were called to a dispute. They confronted Kurt Reinhold over a jaywalking incident.
One of the deputies shot twice, Barnes said. The deputies tried to render aid but Reinhold was dead at the scene.
The encounter was captured on surveillance video, but Barnes said it would not be released at this time, citing the ongoing investigation and pending interviews with witnesses.
That means they're withholding video footage to spike off potential unrest.
There were protests on behalf of Kurt, a father of two who was a weightlifter and professional stuntman.
The cops are in the freezer pending an investigation into whether justified force was used.
The shooting is the latest in many incidents where the police are quick to shoot Black people and too easy on white suspects.
The Wisconsin Republican Party gave a standing ovation to the mother of a white terrorist who shot and killed two protesters in Kenosha. The 17-old white terrorist came from Illinois to Wisconsin. He literally was there to cause trouble. He shot a man in the head and another in the chest. He wounded a protester who was armed in the arm. The terrorist causally walked towards police with his hands up. The police ignored him and he went home took a nap and got a breakfast. He called his religious leader and lawyer. He was soon arrested and refuses to be extradited because he claims "defense."
He became the example of a different standard in how the law treat suspects. An armed suspect is taken alive while Black men and women are shot for the most dumbest reasons.

The Food and Drug Administration is warning a bunch of bored idiots to not take an over-the-counter allergy medicine for a social media stunt.
The ingredients of diphenhydramine (Benadryl) can lead to serious heart problems, seizures, coma, or even death. We are aware of news reports of teenagers ending up in emergency rooms or dying after participating in the “Benadryl Challenge” encouraged in videos posted on the social media application TikTok.
We are investigating these reports and conducting a review to determine if additional cases have been reported. We will update the public once we have completed our review or have more information to share. We also contacted TikTok and strongly urged them to remove the videos from their platform and to be vigilant to remove additional videos that may be posted.
The so-called "Benadryl Challenge" on TikTok is being done by a bunch of teens who can't be school due to Trump and the federal government's failure to control the coronavirus. This stunt has the FDA concerned that an idiot would practice this stunt and later ending up in the hospital.
They have cited reports of idiots heading to the emergency room after taking high doses of the over-the-counter medication to induce hallucinations.
The company that makes the medication Johnson & Johnson makes a statement on the matter.

Two idiot teens died from the challenge.
A 15-year-old Oklahoma City girl died last week from overdosing on Benadryl.
The Oklahoma City victim, who has not been identified, was described as a happy and "faith-driven" teen who was not known to experiment with drugs, KFOR-TV reported.
In May, three teens from Fort Worth, Texas, were hospitalized after they swallowed excessive doses of Benadryl as part of the "challenge."
One of the teens, a 14-year-old named "Rebekah," took 14 Benadryl tablets in the middle of the night on Memorial Day.
"It was scary. She had fractured sentences, hallucinations. Her resting heart rate was 199," Katie, Rebekah's mother told Checkup.
"We rushed her to the local ER and they decided to transport her to Cook Children’s."
Rebekah was admitted to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth and stayed overnight. Her heart rate returned to normal the next morning and she was released.
"What struck me was that we had three teens come in for the same thing in one week," said Amber Jewison, a nurse practitioner at Cook.
"None of these patients were trying to harm themselves. They all said they saw videos on TikTok and were curious to try it."

A spokesperson for TikTok told DailyMail.com that the social media platform first learned of the 'Benadryl challenge' in May and 'quickly removed the very small amount of content that we found.'
The company said it has been "keeping an eye on this topic since and removing any new content - which again has been in extremely small numbers."
"The safety and well-being of our users is TikTok's top priority," the spokesperson said.
"As we make clear in our Community Guidelines, we do not allow content that encourages, promotes, or glorifies dangerous challenges that might lead to injury. Though we have not seen this content trend on our platform, we actively remove content that violates our guidelines and block related hashtags to further discourage participation. We encourage everyone to exercise caution in their behavior whether online or off."

Former Texas Congressman and three time presidential candidate Ron Paul suffered a stroke while doing a livestream. The 85-year old former lawmaker was appearing on camera talking gibberish and had a drooping eye. The incident was shared online.

Paul who served as a lawmaker from Texas is a libertarian-leaning conservative. His son, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said that his dad is resting comfortably at a Houston hospital.

While some have speculated Paul had a stroke, the former lawmaker's condition wasn't released.
