Chicago P.D. continues to abuse power. |
For what reason?
Just to get a suspect!
While Chicago Police were fuming at Jussie Smollett over his criminal charges being dropped, a local mother and her family filed a federal lawsuit against the agency for busting down their door and ruining a birthday party for a toddler. They entered the home on suspicion of a suspect being there.
Turns out the suspect left the property years ago and the new owner was unaware of this. She was throwing her four year son a party and the Chicago Police come guns ablazing.
The family who lived the South Side filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the city. They accused the police of using excessive force. They had some of the cops point firearms at children.
The traumatized 7-year old girl Samari Boswell said that cops were swearing at her mom, her aunt, her grandma and her brother 4-year old TJ Boswell.
This happened on February 10, 2019, one week after Smollett fiasco.
The family said that the Chicago Police destroyed the home, smashed the birthday cake, yelled profanities and insults at the family.
"they were saying F words and stuff," Samari Boswell said. "It was horrible."
Mother, Stephanie Bures, tearfully told the local junk food media that she didn't even know why they came to her home. She is a hard working mother and doesn't even cause trouble for the community.
The young woman's aunt was livid.
Kiqiana Jackson repeatedly demanded why they came through the door, asked for badges, and told them they had no business being here.
A young girl with her mother describe who Chicago P.D. ruined her brother's birthday. |
Jackson said that they destroyed a big screen television, they threw trash over the room, they made a complete mess of the young woman's home.
They also accused the cops of covering their badges and refusing to give out their names or badge numbers.
This wasn't the last time the Chicago Police did that. The local junk food media pointed to four recent events where the law raided the wrong house and pointed guns at children. Warrants weren't turned over until police were leaving the home.
Ebony Tate said they did that to her home.
"They gave me the search warrant after they tore up the house."
Peter Mendez was only 9-years old when he and his brother were subjected to this abuse.
"Just the saddest moment," he said while crying.
Rahm Emanuel is leaving. The next mayor could fire top cop Eddie Johnson out the cannon. |
He was then Barack Obama's chief of staff and a former U.S. lawmaker. Under his two terms, Chicago has seen a spike in murders and police incompetence.
Laquan McDonald's death was one of the biggest scandals plaguing the Chicago Division of Police.
The death of that teen by that dirty cop makes it clear that Chicago Police have been getting away with a whole lot of things. The citizens are either too afraid to speak or they're dead.
