Live-streamers covering the protest against COVID-19 mandates near Washington’s state capitol showed Tusitala “Tiny” Toese bleeding from the foot or lower leg after five gunshots rang out in the mid-afternoon hours of Saturday, Sept. 4. 

Local police taped off the scene at the Intercity Transit mall on State Avenue Northeast near Franklin Street, according to the footage, and medical personnel also responded.

It’s unclear who fired the shots that struck Toese, though the right-wing Proud Boys had been pursuing black-clad figures called antifa, a left-wing movement, in the minutes before the shooting. 

Earlier in the day, counter-protest supporter Alissa Azar said she was physically attacked and maced by Proud Boy members. The incident wasn’t captured on camera but a video shows several right-wingers dressed for combat calling out her name and then the sound of a woman screaming. 

Toese, who stands six-feet-three-inches tall and weighs more than 300 pounds, has been a regular organizer of Proud Boys events in the Portland area and is known to openly participate in street brawls, including the rally that turned into a violent clash near a shuttered Kmart in east Portland on Aug. 22. 

Toese was formerly known to be a top lieutenant of Patriot Prayer leader Joey Gibson, but that group has been less active as Gibson faces a potential felony riot conviction. 

The Vancouver, Washington resident was recently let off of probation after serving time in jail for a 2018 assault.

The suspects are still at large. If charged, the person(s) would face aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felonious assault and improper discharge of a firearm.

The suspect is innocent until guilty in a court of law.

The white extremist who was instrumental in getting Washed Up 45 elected is broke. A federal judge has ordered the white extremist and other entities to pay a man $2.4 million.

There was a Neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017. A white extremist from Ohio would drive his vehicle into a crowd of people in downtown Charlottesville. People were injured. But the vehicle plowed through killing Heather Heyer. 

The white terrorist is facing LIFE in federal time out for his actions.

The other victim was awarded $2.4 million for the injuries inflicted on him. 

Bill Burke, of Athens, Ohio, says he was struck by the terrorist during the rally. Burke was there joining a counter protest against the white extremists. The extremists were there to protest the removal of Confederate statues.

Burke had head and knee injures and a crushed arm. He still requires medical treatment and the injuries and post-traumatic stress could be permanent.

Burke sued other defendants. He sued Karen Duke and Karen Heimbach. Burke said that white extremist Karen Spencer was the key organizator of this deadly rally.

U.S. District Court Judge Michael Watson handed the gauntlet on the white nationalist. 

Spencer is now owing a woman $3.2 million from Whitefish, Montana after he made her life miserable by doxxing her home and business. Tanya Gersh was award millions after Spenser went on a tirade about how a white extremist was being banned from renting a home in Whitefish. 

Gersh got death threats and anti-Semitic attack against her. She is Jewish. 

Gersh also sued an Ohio white nationalist named Karen Anglin who whereabouts are still unknown. He currently owes over $14 million for his attacks on her and progressive agitator/comedian Dean Obeidallah.

Spencer is now whining that his businesses are ruined. He is no longer allowed to participate in Save America rallies and his wife left him.

I say to him and the other white extremists, "Thoughts and prayers."

Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and his husband Chasten welcome twins. He is the first openly gay member of a presidential cabinet. The Transportation Secretary took to social media to share the news.

"Chasten and I are beyond thankful for all the kind wishes since first sharing the news that we're becoming parents," the Biden Cabinet secretary posted on social media. "We are delighted to welcome Penelope Rose and Joseph August Buttigieg to our family."

Buttigieg shared last month that he and Chasten, an author and former teacher, had become first-time parents.

"The process isn't done yet and we're thankful for the love, support, and respect for our privacy that has been offered to us," he shared at the time, adding that they had wanted to grow their family for some time.

Buttigieg is currently the Department of Transportation Secretary. He was the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana and 2016 Democratic candidate for president.

He was the 2020 Iowa Caucus winner.

NBC News announced the passing of legendary weatherman and TV personality Willard Scott. The always animated lovable and good natured personality passed away peacefully at age of 87.

The American media personality had began his role as an iconic clown. He was the early members of the Ronald McDonald club. He also had a recurring role on the TV series Valerie (titled The Hogan Family).

Scott would offer the birthdays of those who celebrate turning 100 or older on Today.

His successor on the morning news show, Al Roker, announced that Scott died peacefully Saturday morning surrounded by family. An NBC Universal spokeswoman confirmed the news. No further details were released.

“He was truly my second dad and am where I am today because of his generous spirit,” Roker wrote on Instagram. “Willard was a man of his times, the ultimate broadcaster. There will never be anyone quite like him.”

“He played such an outsized role in my life and was as warm and loving and generous off-camera as he was on,” Katie Couric tweeted.

Scott began his 65-year career at NBC as an entry-level page at an affiliate station in Washington, D.C., and rose to become the weather forecaster on the network’s flagship morning show for more than three decades. His trademark was giving on-air birthday greetings to viewers who turned 100 years old by putting their faces on Smucker’s jelly jars and delivering weather updates in zany costumes.

According to NBC, he once took up a viewer’s dare to appear in drag to win a $1,000 donation to the USO, the charity for military families, by dressing up as the Brazilian singer Carmen Miranda. The stunt wasn’t new for the genial Scott: he played Bozo the Clown when he hosted a children’s TV show in the 1960s and Ronald McDonald in commercials in the Washington area.

He often dressed as Santa Claus at the National Tree Lighting ceremony throughout the 1980s and co-anchored NBC’s coverage of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade between 1987 to 1997. In one memorable moment on live television, First Lady Barbara Bush gave him a kiss during the 1989 inauguration parade of her husband, President George H.W. Bush.

“(The president) said, ‘I didn’t know you knew Willard Scott.’ I said, ‘I don’t know Willard Scott. I just love that face.’ ” the first lady recalled.

Scott handed the reins to Roker in 1996, occasionally filling in for him for the next decade before fully retiring in 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Paris Keena, whom he married in 2014, and two daughters with Mary Dwyer Scott, his wife of 43 years until she died in 2002.

West Virginia senator is getting on my nerves. I hate bad faith politics and I hate lawmakers who do nothing but cause chaos in Washington, DC. We elected these people to represent the district or the state as a whole. Their job is to deliver results. 

Far too many of them are on television showing discourse in America. I am tired of this.

Sen. Karen Manchin (D-WV) is one of the three headaches in the Democratic Caucus. The other two are Sen. Karen Sinema (D-AZ) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). These three are the reasons to why the Democrats are struggling to get things done with the slim majority they have.

George Floyd Policing, For The People's Act, The John Lewis Voting Act and the American Jobs Plan are stalled because of this West Virginia senator who is pandering for pork.

Manchin is pulling on the bullshit narratives about deficits and debt.

Manchin has called on Democrats to take a "strategic pause" in advancing their historic $3.5 trillion budget plan, putting in peril President Biden's most ambitious effort to stabilize the U.S. economy and boost the middle class.

In an opinion piece published in the Wall Street Journal on Thursday, the West Virginia senator criticized his party as being shortsighted and hypocritical in its pursuit of passing the multitrillion-dollar budget, which Democrats see as vital to tackling climate change, child care affordability and fair housing.

"The nation faces an unprecedented array of challenges and will inevitably encounter additional crises in the future," Manchin wrote. "Yet some in Congress have a strange belief there is an infinite supply of money to deal with any current or future crisis, and that spending trillions upon trillions will have no negative consequence for the future. I disagree."

Manchin wrote that because of the challenges posed by the nation's high inflation rate as well as the unpredictable nature of the pandemic — particularly as it pertains to the rapidly emerging variants of the virus — Democrats should not "rush" to use spending as a fix for the nation's current woes. Rather, lawmakers should take a longer-term view about how today's fiscal policy could impact future generations.

Democrats have said the budget will be paid for with tax increases on corporations and the wealthy as well as other proposals.

If Manchin defects, as he has signaled before that he would, Democrats would have to sway at least one Republican to vote for the budget — a tall order in the highly partisan chamber.

"If we want to invest in America, a goal I support, then let's take the time to get it right and determine what is absolutely necessary," Manchin wrote.

The West Virginia Democrat has often been at odds with more progressive members of his party, and he has emerged as a critical swing vote. Democrats control the 50-50 Senate, with the vice president working as a tie-breaker.

I was ignoring it. I'll be bluntly honest, I do not give two fucks about Kanye Omari West, his music, his politics and his hissy fits. I am aware he released his long anticipated album on August 29.

Kanye West is a troubled soul.

This album is tributed to his mother Donda C. West. She died after a botched cosmetic surgery in Mexico in 2007.

I know that he and Pusha T are feuding with Canadian media mogul/rapper Drake. I know the two are going to be pushing a chart battle. I know that Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West have lost a lot of support among fans because of their support for Washed Up 45 and her step dad's bid for California governor. Her step dad is a transgender woman who is a Republican candidate for governor in the California recall.

West's antics are controversial.

The Donda album is the tenth of the media mogul and former presidential candidate. It is released on Def Jam Recordings and Getting Out Our Dreams, LLC (Good Music). The album contains explicit lyrics.

However, the album is primarily hip-hop and gospel. It experiments with hip-hop, pop, trap and boom rap.

The album is executive produced by West, Mike Dean and Swizz Beatz. It has 27 tracks and it is over 108:49 minutes.

The album production credits include Kanye West, Mike Dean, 88-Keys, Ojivolta, Dem Jointz, Sean Solymar, E. Aubrey Graham known as Drake releases his latest album, Certified Lover Boy on OVO Sound and Universal Records. The Canadian media mogul was supposed to release the album in January but it was delayed due to personal injuries.

Drake is trying to beat the odds.

The album was dedicated to the late models Nadia Ntuli and Mercedes Morr. Moor was killed in Texas by an alleged stalker in a murder suicide. Ntuli was killed in a car accident while staying in Dubai.

Drake had the official artwork of twelve emoji's of pregnant women in varying clothing colors, hair colors and skin tones. It was designed by English artist Damien Hirst. Some criticized the album cover as lazy and ugly. 

Regardless of what they think, the album is considered to reach No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200.

The executive producers of the album are Drake and Noah "40" Shebib. The album production credits include Drake, Noah "40" Shebib, Masego, Maneesh, Supah Mario, Young, Borino, Ojelade, OZ, Ambezza, Thomas, Eli Brown, AP, Dez Wright, Travis Scott, WondaGurl, Sweet, Patron, TM88, Too Dope, Cadastr, Arsenault, OG Ron C, Kid Masterpiece, Lusti, Cadastgtre, FaxOnly, Jean Bleu, Walters,  Yebba, Francies, Vinylz, Nik D, Metro Boomin, Johnson, Cardo, KND, Govi, Tressor, Monsune, Nineteen85, Bink, Clibb, Houssain, KaneilOnTheOne, 3ddy, Yume, PartyNextDoor, Aliby and Anthony Hamilton.

Controversial podcaster and conspiracy theorist tests positive for the coronavirus. He is considering taking a treatment not recommended by the FDA and CDC. Again, he's gonna fuck around he'll find out.

Joe Rogan announced on Wednesday that he has tested positive for coronavirus, adding that he took a series of medications, including ivermectin, a drug primarily used to treat parasites in animals that the Food and Drug Administration says people should avoid.

Rogan is an American comedian, podcaster, and UFC color commentator.

Rogan began his career in comedy in August 1988 in the Boston area. After relocating to Los Angeles in 1994, he signed an exclusive developmental deal with Disney, and appeared as an actor on several television shows including Hardball and NewsRadio. In 1997, he started working for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as an interviewer and color commentator. Rogan released his first comedy special in 2000. From 2001 to 2006, he was the host of Fear Factor. In 2009, Rogan launched his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, which led him to increased success and podcast superstardom.

Spotify signed an exclusive licensing deal with Rogan in May 2020 and has repeatedly touted his success in its company earnings reports. Spotify CEO Daniel Ek stood by and promoted the podcast host amid the controversy over Rogan's April remarks. Ek told Bloomberg at the time, "What I will say is we have 8 million creators, and hundreds of millions of pieces of content. We have a content policy and we do remove pieces that violate it."

Spotify did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Rogan said he has postponed his show in Nashville, which was scheduled for Friday.

"My apologies to everyone," Rogan said. "Obviously it is nothing that I can control. It is what it is. Crazy times we're living in."

Although the coronavirus vaccines can prevent transmission and hospitalization, the virulent Delta variant has been the source of a small proportion of "breakthrough" cases that can affect older and immunocompromised people.

Of course, there's folks who are fully vaccinated but end up getting the coronavirus. As with vaccines, nothing is 100%. The vaccines are capable of preventing the coronavirus. At best, it's a 94% prevention rate which means 1 out of 500 could be infected even if they're vaccinated.

President Joe Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.

But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war. 

With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

We came so far only to have a bunch of selfish idiots set it back. Just because they hate President Joe Biden.

According to the CDC, there is still not enough information on antibodies for COVID-19 and whether they can prevent someone from getting reinfected. It still recommends that people with a positive antibody test follow recommendations for protecting themselves and others.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19. 

If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!
