I think it's a mistake. William Lacy Clay, Jr. for years offered the constituents results. He represented the Missouri 1st Congressional District which includes the city of St. Louis, St. Louis County and parts of St. Charles County, Missouri.
He made the mistake of not jumping on bandwagon promises and activism. During the protests of George Floyd, a perennial candidate managed to get the best of him. The lawmaker took on Cori Bush, a local nurse and activist who ran against him in the previous battle.
With the outrage resonating with the cop walk in the Michael Brown case, the corruption and police brutality plaguing the St. Louis Police and St. Louis County Sheriff's Department, the segregation of the city, those fucking Karens who pointed guns at Black Lives Matter activists and the death of George Floyd gave Bush an advantage. She would beat Clay in the primary and go on to win the election.
She got the backing of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
Clay called Bush a distraction who will turn off voters in the district. It appears he's telling the truth.
She quickly joined the Squad which consists of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and new member Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY).
They represent relatively safe Democratic districts. So far, Bush and members of the Squad have done nothing more than be sideline activists instead of representatives. What St. Louis is facing is what Cleveland is facing.
Food deserts, blight, white flight and job loss. Things that lawmakers need to find a solution to. With that being said, St. Louis is the "Gateway to the West."
Once you cross the Mississippi River and see the Gateway Arch National Park, you're in the West.
Bush needs to focus on bringing St. Louis back to its glory. Right now, she's being too much of an activists and it's giving the far-right catnip.

It’s almost as if our entire country has been brainwashed to ignore our history—and how its worst elements continue today—despite our self-congratulatory rhetoric."
Former MSNBC anchor Toure was far more vocal, tweeting out "F--k Independence Day. Not only were we not free, the whole reason the Colonies wanted independence was because Britain was moving toward abolishing slavery. Why would Black people celebrate a day so wrapped up in our enslavement?"
He also tweeted out his own opinion piece for the website The Grio titled "F--k Fourth of July: The only independence day I recognize is Juneteenth."
Rep. Karen Donalds (R-FL) decides to head to white nationalist network Fox to criticize Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO).
Actress Alyssa Milano also disparaged the Fourth of July by sharing a TikTok video of herself reading, "Reminder: The United States was founded on the unjust treatment of Native Americans, Africans and other people of color."
News organizations also took the opportunity to use the holiday to criticize the United States and its history.
NPR tweeted out a thread of the original Declaration of Independence, claiming it to be "a document with flaws and deeply ingrained hypocrisies." It also remarked immediately that the document "says ‘that all men are created equal’ — but women, enslaved people, Indigenous people and many others were not held as equal at the time."
The Washington Post went even further by posting several opinion pieces that critique the holiday or use it for political partisanship. These pieces included "The Fourth is for complainers," "Independence Day 2021 is an apt occasion to celebrate America’s liberation from Trump," and a perspective piece titled "July Fourth is Independence Day for two countries. But for one it is hollow."
This followed the New York Times opinion piece that suggested the American flag became a symbol of divisiveness. In the article titled "A Fourth of July Symbol of Unity That May No Longer Unite."
Let this soak in.
"Today, flying the American flag from the back of a pickup truck or over a lawn is increasingly seen as a clue, albeit an imperfect one, to a person’s political affiliation in a deeply divided nation," the article states.

Karen Lee (R-UT) are worthless senators who have no legislative accomplishments other than saying no to senate bills and trolling on social media. They are some of the reasons to why the Senate is grinding to a halt. They rather watch the federal government shut down or face another seditious insurrection.

Karen Gohmert (R-TX) and Rep. Karen Cawthorn (R-NC). They come are coming from relatively safe Republican districts as well. Like members of the Squad, some of these lawmakers are doing more activism than legislation.
Seeing Boebert, Greene and Cawthorn going to Washed Up 45 rallies instead of representing their districts shows how bad these lawmakers are. Instead of doing work for their constituents, they're posting on social media showing off firearms, thumbs ups with Washed Up 45 and trolling comment sections.
Bush, Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, Tlaib, Pressley and Bowman are no better. They are looking for likes on social media instead of results in their congressional districts.

Sexual predator Bill Cosby wants the HBUs to give back the donations he gave.
In the wake of a boycott against Cosby's longtime friend, actress Phylicia Rashad, the washed up entertainer is demanding all the historically Black colleges and universities to return the donation money he gave during his 65 years in entertainment.
Just like that white leftist Jeffrey Shaun King and Raymond "Benzino" Scott, Cosby is triggered. He quick to blocking folks who are calling him a sexual predator. He is a blind senile old man.
He admitted to slipping roofies into women's drinks. He has over 60 accusers.
Formerly known as "America's Dad" the sexual predator has came to Rashad's defense of him.
Cosby said that he was railroaded by a corrupt judicial system and said that he's a successful Black man. He said that Washed Up 45 and his minions are doing far worse than him and yet they're not getting punished for their crimes. He also said that insurrection is a prime example of white privilege.
He wants Howard University to return every donation he's given.
"Howard University, you must support ones Freedoms of Speech (Ms. Rashad), which is taught or supposed to be taught everyday at that renowned law school, which resides on your campus. This (sic) mainstream media are the Insurrectionists, who stormed the Capitol. Those same Media Insurrectionists are trying to demolish the Constitution of the United States of America on this Independence Day. No technicality -- it's a violation of ones rights and we the people stand in support of Ms. Phylicia Rashad."
Cosby said that if you fire Rashad, count his donation to HBUs out. He made it clear though his spokesman Andrew Wyatt.
Cosby who is legally blind, senile and in cognitive decline has spent two of the ten years of his bid in the iron college after he was convicted of raping a former Temple University coach.
Rashad faced backlash after she backed Cosby's bid for freedom. Howard University called upon school administration to remove her from her tenure as dean of fine arts and entertainment.
Rashad played Claire Huxtable, the wife of Heathcliff Huxtable (Cosby's character) on The Cosby Show. The Cosby Show was on from 1984-1992 and became a stable of the NBC primetime block.
Cosby is former actor, comedian, writer, director, singer and activist. Also he is a "TIER III" in Offender U.
The state prosecutors failed at giving Cosby his due process. He paid his accuser millions in a civil statement over 15 years ago. The deposition was told that the civil lawsuit would eliminate the possibility of Cosby going to the iron college. However, the new prosecutor had found enough evidence to criminally prosecute this disgraced entertainer.
Cosby backs Rashad.
The first trial ended in a mistrial. The second one convicted him. Since his lockup, he remained unrepentant and defiant towards the conviction.
He was released from the iron college in late June. He is living as a reclusive figure although he hinted he may return to comedy soon.
Rashad has since deleted the tweet and apologized for the remarks. She said that the Howard community deserves an open dialogue and said that powerful figures need to be held accountable. She said she will always support the victims of sexual assault.
Cosby has also lost his honorary degrees at many of these universities.
President Joe Biden was recently asked about Cosby losing his Presidential Medal of Freedom. White House press secretary Jen Psaki deflected from the questions about Cosby. Cosby got the award from George W. Bush in 2005.

Her tweet set off a firestorm. Actress and Howard University college dean Phylicia Rashad is facing calls to be fired out the cannon for her postings defending a convicted sexual predator.
As the legally blind and washed up entertainer Bill Cosby was released from the iron college after being convicted of sexual assault on a Temple University women's coach, his TV wife took to social media to praise the decision to let him out.
Cosby was let go after a state technicality. The state didn't give him due process and they cannot charge him again despite evidence of his using tools to engage in sexual abuse.
Cosby made a deal with the victim and paid her out reasonably well. The state told him that he couldn't face criminal charges now that the lawsuit was settled. A state prosecutor dismissed it and went ahead with criminally charging him. Over 60 women came forth admitting Cosby had some form of sexual abuse against them.
Cosby on his part denied the allegations. He claims he was a victim of a witch hunt and believes it was a tactic to set up a successful Black man.
The damage is done. The Cosby Show, Fat Albert, Little Bill, iSpy, The Bill Cosby Show, all his other television shows, his comedy routines, his music albums, his comedy albums and promotionals were cancelled.
Cosby pretty much went from America's TV dad to the world's most hated celebrity.
Historically Black Universities are calling for the removal of Phylicia Rashad after she made praise to Cosby and denounced the victims of the sexual abuse.
She is the dean of fine arts at Howard University.
"Finally!!! A terrible wrong is being righted -- a miscarriage of justice is corrected."
She posted it on social media before scrubbing it. It was considered insensitive to survivors of sexual abuse and it was tone deaf to the why the state decided to let him go. He was convicted. The state couldn't run anymore time on the 85-year old washed up entertainer.
Rashad said the quiet part out loud. She and the sexual predator are lifelong friends.
The sexual predator is not exonerated.
Once the backlash and the calls for a cannon firing came, Rashad responded with a half-hearted apology.
"This week, I tweeted a statement that caused so much hurt in so many people - both broadly and inside the [Howard University] community. I offer my most sincere apology. I have since removed that upsetting tweet. I am sorry. I intend to earn your trust and your forgiveness. Personally I know from friends and family that such abuse has lifelong residual effects. My heartfelt wish is for healing. My statements were in no way directed towards survivors of sexual assault."
Rashad added, "I vehemently oppose sexual violence, find no excuse for such behavior and I know that Howard University has a zero-tolerance policy towards interpersonal violence."
Howard also wrote that Rashad's remarks were dumb as fuck. They said that she "lacked sensitivity towards survivors of sexual assault," and that her opinions do not reflect the university policies.
Rashad said on Friday that she will "engage in active listening and participate in trainings to not only reinforce University protocol and conduct, but also to learn how I can become a stronger ally to sexual assault survivors and everyone who has suffered at the hands of an abuser."
"Thank you for voicing your concerns, for speaking your truth and for holding leaders accountable for our actions and words," Rashad added.

The poacher is poached.
Predator Poachers (formerly To Catch a Predator) host Chris Hansen was arrested after he failed to show up to a hearing. He was supposed to turnover evidence involving three sexual predators who were caught in a sting operation in Michigan.
His failure to do so made the court launch a bench warrant for his arrest.
The 61-year old media personality who was very popular on NBC with Dateline's To Catch A Predator was arrested after he did a no-show at the Shiawassee County Courts. He was arrested and booked before he was released only four hours later.
Hansen works with Predator Poachers and Dad's Against Predators an hosts his activities on his podcast and YouTube.
Hansen worked with the Shiawassee County Sheriff's Department when he and the film crew caught three men involved in trying to meet underage children for sex.
They provided the court an edited video but one of the accused demanded to see all the footage and wanted to use it clear his name.
Hansen's lawyer said that it was bad timing and confusion over the subpoena.
"He wasn't intending to not appear or to be somebody that was trying to circumvent the process. It was just an unfortunate set of circumstances that resulted in a failure to appear," said Clint Perryman, Hansen's lawyer to the AP.
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Hansen was dismissed from NBC after he was allegedly making out with his mistress Kristyn Caddell.
Of course, he had joined Crime Watch Daily between 2016 and 2019. He was criminally charged with larceny after he had a check bounce with a vendor. The charges were later dropped. He was also charged with harassment of a "civilian" when doing his sting operations.
Hansen does YouTube video which interview members of Predator Poachers and continues to do sting operations on behalf of that group and Perverted Justice.

Alyssa Scott seemingly birthed his child mere weeks after the "Wild ‘N Out" star and creator welcomed twins with another woman.
Scott, appeared to confirm the news on Saturday that she and Cannon, 40, welcomed their son, Zen, on June 23 in a series of photos shared to Instagram commemorating the date.
"I will love you for eternity," she captioned the set of black-and-white snaps, two of which showed her cradling the newborn in her arms as she dons a plunging dark-colored dress.

While the "Masked Singer" host never officially confirmed whether or not he was the father of Scott’s child, the former "Wild ‘N Out" stage model posted a sultry snap on Father’s Day of herself with a shirtless man who bared a striking resemblance to Cannon on Instagram, although the mysterious man’s face was turned away from the camera.
"Celebrating you today," she captioned the Instagram Story photo of the man cradling her baby bump.
Cannon recently welcomed twins — his fifth child and sixth child — with another woman, Abby De La Rosa, who announced their birth via Instagram June 16, sharing a video of her cradling her newborns. She revealed in the post that the boys are named Zion Mixolydian Cannon & ZIllion Heir Cannon.
Furthermore, Cannon and his now-ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell welcomed a daughter in December 2020. In an Instagram post, Bell said that the baby was named Powerful Queen Cannon.
The two also share a 3-year-old son, Golden.
The media tycoon also famously shares 9-year-old twins Morocco and Monroe with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.
A rep for Cannon did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

A group of extremists caused a lockdown in Wakefield, Massachusetts. The far-right is quick to point fingers. It started with a cop being "scared" of Black men with firearms. They weren't causing a panic but since they refused to comply to a police officer when confronted, they called the SWAT on them.
An hours long standoff with a group of heavily armed men that partially shut down Interstate 95 ended Saturday with 11 suspects in custody, Massachusetts state police said.
The standoff shut down a portion of I-95 for much of the morning, causing major traffic problems during the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Authorities said the interstate is now reopened and the shelter-in-place orders for Wakefield and Reading were lifted.

The standoff began around 2 a.m. when police noticed two cars pulled over on I-95 with hazard lights on after they had apparently run out of fuel, authorities said at a Saturday press briefing.
At least some of the suspects were clad in military-style gear with long guns and pistols, Mass State Police Col. Christopher Mason said. He added that they were headed to Maine from Rhode Island for “training.”
Armed extremist said to Instagram Live he's not looking for trouble.
“You can imagine 11 armed individuals standing with long guns slung on an interstate highway at 2 in the morning certainly raises concerns and is not consistent with the firearms laws that we have in Massachusetts,” Mason said.
In a video posted to social media Saturday morning, a man who did not give his name, but said he was from a group called Rise of the Moors, broadcast from Interstate 95 in Wakefield near exit 57.
“We are not antigovernment. We are not anti-police, we are not sovereign citizens, we’re not Black identity extremists,” said the man who appeared to be wearing military-style equipment. “As specified multiple times to the police that we are abiding by the peaceful journey laws of the United States.”
The website for the group says they are “Moorish Americans dedicated to educating new Moors and influencing our Elders.”
You notice one thing these white nationalists are not talking about....the firearms. The so-called Second Amendment crowd are not backing their rights to "bear arms."
This is gun control is needed. I guess white extremists are more concerned about Black men being armed than their own.

We haven't forgotten about the many mass shootings in the United States. COVID-19 doesn't stop individuals from picking up firearms and killing others.

With all good things, comes the worse. The Supreme Court's majority is mostly white nationalists and one enabler.
They voted to give the states more leverage to restrict Americans at the ballot box.
The Supreme Court issued a major decision on voting rights that will make it more difficult to contest election regulations under the Voting Rights Act. By a vote of 6-3, the justices upheld two Arizona voting provisions that Democrats and civil rights groups challenged as disproportionately burdening minority voters. In an opinion by Justice Samuel Alito, the majority outlined what it described as “guideposts” for future challenges to voting laws under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, which bans racial discrimination in election practices. The court’s three liberal justices dissented, with Justice Elena Kagan complaining that Thursday’s decision “undermines Section 2 and the right it provides.”

One of the provisions at the heart of the case, Brnovich v. Democratic National Committee, is known as the “out of precinct” policy. It requires election officials to throw out an entire ballot if it was cast at the wrong precinct. A voter whose name does not appear on the voting rolls in a particular precinct is allowed to cast a provisional ballot, but if election officials later conclude that she voted in the wrong place, her entire ballot is discarded – even if she was eligible to vote for statewide or national offices, like governor or president, for which her precinct would not matter.
The high court upheld Arizona’s voting restrictions in a decision that could make it harder to challenge other voting measures put in place by Republican lawmakers following last year's elections. And it ruled that California must stop collecting the names and addresses of top donors to charities.
Both cases had 6-3 decisions.
The voting rights case reversed a lower court ruling in deciding that Arizona’s limits on who can return early ballots for another person and its refusal to count ballots cast in the wrong precinct are not racially discriminatory.
A federal appeals court in San Francisco had previously ruled the measure disproportionately affected Black, Hispanic and Native American voters in violation of the landmark Voting Rights Act.
Justice Karen Alito wrote for a conservative majority that the state's interest in the integrity of elections justified the measures.
The court rejected the idea that showing that a state law disproportionately affects minority voters is enough to prove a violation of the law.
In dissent, Justice Elena Kagan wrote that the court was weakening the landmark voting rights law for the second time in eight years.
"What is tragic here is that the Court has (yet again) rewritten — in order to weaken — a statute that stands as a monument to America’s greatness, and protects against its basest impulses. What is tragic is that the Court has damaged a statute designed to bring about ‘the end of discrimination in voting.’ I respectfully dissent," Kagan wrote, joined by the other two liberal justices.
Native Americans who have to travel long distances to put their ballots in the mail were more likely to be affected by the ballot collection law. Votes cast by Black and Hispanic voters were more likely to be tossed out because they were cast in the wrong precinct, the appeals court found.
But Alito said the measures were at most "modest burdens" that did not violate the law.
In the charitable donor disclosure ruling, the court sided with nonprofits that argued that California's policy of collecting the information violates the First Amendment.
The nonprofits had drawn strong support from groups across the political spectrum, including the American Civil Liberties Union and NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
California had defended its policy by saying that the information's collection was necessary to prevent fraud. But Chief Justice Karen Roberts wrote in a majority opinion joined by the court's other conservatives that there is a "dramatic mismatch" between California's interest in preventing wrongdoing by charities and its donor information requirement.
"The upshot is that California casts a dragnet for sensitive donor information from tens of thousands of charities each year, even though that information will become relevant in only a small number of cases involving filed complaints," Roberts wrote.
In a dissent for the court's three liberals, Justice Sonia Sotomayor warned of the decision's consequences.
"Today’s analysis marks reporting and disclosure requirements with a bull’s-eye. Regulated entities who wish to avoid their obligations can do so by vaguely waving toward First Amendment 'privacy concerns,'" she said.
California requires all charities that collect money from state residents to give the state an IRS form identifying their largest contributors. The information is not supposed to be disclosed publicly. Just three other states, Hawaii, New Jersey and New York, require charities to provide the IRS form.
A federal appeals court had upheld California's practice, ruling that the information serves the important state goal of preventing charities from committing fraud. The information was unlikely to be released publicly, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said.
