A major fire has broken out at the medieval Notre-Dame Cathedral in central Paris on Monday afternoon, leading firefighters to clear the area around one of the city's most visited landmarks.

Very sad news for devout religious, art lovers, and historians.

There's a massive fire in the Paris Notre Dame Cathedral this afternoon. It happened on the most holiest week in the Catholic Church, Jesus' last days on earth before being killed by religious fanatics and Roman authorities.

The authorities have anticipated a massive loss of historic ecclesiastical art, precious relics in its treasury, and numerous artwork inside the cathedral.

The cathedral has been the symbol of Paris for centuries before it was displaced by the Eiffel Tower.  

Much of  Parisian history had taken place in Notre Dame Cathedral.  Mary Queen of Scots was married there.  Napoleon was crowned emperor in the early nineteenth century.  It was the historic heart of French kings and has survived both world wars, the French Revolution, the Napoleonic revolution, and so much more.

In literature and movies, Notre Dame has been the subject of Victor Hugo’s 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame, was made into a popular animated movie by Disney back in 1996.

Several versions of the Hunchback of Notre Dame were made into movies for decades besides the popular Disney classic in 1996.

The roof of Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral collapsed as a massive fire ripped through the structure on Monday, days before Easter.

As of Monday afternoon, the spire of the cathedral had fallen, and the fire had spread to one of its rectangular towers. 

Paris Mayor Anne Hildago and firefighters warned people to stay away from the area. There have been no confirmed deaths, according to Paris police, while a French government official said no injuries had yet been reported. Four hundred firefighters are working to put out the blaze, according to the Ministry of the Interior for France.

The area surrounding the cathedral, Paris’ Ile de la Cite, is in the process of being evacuated, according to Reuters.

No injuries were reported in the early stages of the blaze. It was not immediately clear what had caused the fire, while local media reported that police in the city were treating it as an accident. The Paris Prosecutor’s office announced that it has started an inquiry into the fire.

Major relics may be lost in the fire.  The most prominent is the Crown of Thorns.  Others were connected to the relics of French King Saint Louis such as his hair shirt.  Numerous jewels and religious artwork inside the cathedral are said to be lost in the fire.

The asshole was dating a woman who was 15 years younger than he was.

The victims were 23 year old Eli Junia Normil, her mother, 48 year old Nicole Guillume and the youngest, 6 year old Elizabelle Frenel. They were shot and killed inside an apartment in the town of Haines, a city that's 10 miles from Lakeland. It sits about 64 miles east of Tampa and 40 miles south of Orlando.

According to the law, the suspect allegedly shot the girlfriend three times. He shot her in the arm, the face and chest. When he heard the little girl crying for her mommy, the suspect decided to shoot her in the head.

The suspect shot the little girl three times as well.

The victim called her mother to get over to the apartment to pick her up. The suspect was waiting for the mother's arrival. So about the time of her mother coming into the apartment, the suspect shot her in the face and head.

The suspect decided to flee in his vehicle. Before he took off, he decided to post on social media his intentions. He said that he was sorry for killing his family. He said that he rather die than be caught by the law.

So the Florida authorities and FBI were looking for this terrorist who is armed and dangerous. He was also potentially suicidal and he will likely go out like a punk if cornered by the law.

The suspect is facing the DEATH card if caught. He will likely face murder, homicide, reckless usage of a firearm, child abuse and sexual abuse.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

This whole incident was sparked by a petty argument. The terrorist was angry over his current girlfriend yelling at him. He was talking to the mother of his children and she was jealous.

He also said that he was "hearing voices" in his head. He felt that his baby mama denying him the love of his children as a driving factor to harming his girlfriend. He blames his girlfriend for the acts of the court and the baby mama.

He said that loss of his mother also pushed him over the edge.

The law spotted him around Florida's Turnpike. He used money and the camera caught his vehicle in the toll plaza.

This evening the terrorist turned himself in. Not a bullet fired. The terrorist was caught near Orlando.

Black women are under attack. It's a damn shame that we're allowing this to happen to women of color. I can't fault women for falling in love with abusive partners. I just hate that for every domestic violence incident involving a Black male, it puts a black eye on our entire race.

Stuff like this agitates white extremists like Colin Flaherty. I hate saying this guy's name. He is a racial arsonist who catalogs "Black on whatever crime." Like I've said before, in Donald J. Trump's America, you're going to see more incidents like this happen.

The Violence Against Women Act is a law that was signed by Bill Clinton in 1995. The law provided $1.6 billion towards investigation and prosecution of individuals who commit violent crimes against women. It imposes automatic restitution and strips individuals of gun rights. The law is stalled currently by the Republican controlled Senate.

Why are we hurting our children?

They won't support the law if there's an assist for transgender women and banning individuals from obtaining firearms. The Republicans pretty much rather pass asinine laws stopping women from having terminations and stripping low-income families of the safety net.

Those will eventually trigger men to harming women (especially women of color).

Even though, I was upset at the mother of my child for not telling she was pregnant, gave birth to the child and hid it from me for over five months, I would never resort to harming her or my child.

It hurts but we move forward sometimes. I know that I will be more careful in dating women. I don't trust many women now when they come out of thin air trying to reconnect with me.

I rather be a single dad than a deadbeat or violent criminal. So I put this in perspective.

Men who abuse women have no place in my inner circle. Women who take advantage of good men have no place either. I can't control destiny but I know I am not going to be a poster child for domestic violence.

What Happened To Landen Hoffmann?

Child thrown off mall ledge fights for his life.

The name of the victim was released and there's worldwide attention to the safety of one of America's biggest shopping malls.

The asshole who threw a five year old boy over the edge of the Mall of America is facing attempted murder and felonious assault. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The suspect is assured at least 10 years in the iron college. He is banned from the mall. He will have to pay for all the victim's medical bills and be ordered to pay for any improvements to the mall.

The suspect will be likely beaten down by some angry intern who may never see his children grow up. Those in the iron college hate child abusers, child molesters, rapists and gang bangers who assassinate rivals. That scumbag will get his while behind the bars.

The mall is working on installing barriers and tightening up security in areas where children could be injured. The area is going to do an evaluation of its safety plans.

The incident grabbed the nation's attention.

Now that we have a name to the victim, I can only assume the far-white will start blaming someone other than this asshole.

The victim was a little white boy. The asshole was a Black man.

I would expect somewhere in the far-white bubble this will became a litmus test on how the junk food media covers stories like this. The far-white will drive up the narrative that the criminal's race and the victim's race are important.

The far-white agitator Colin Flaherty is licking his chops. He loves stories like this. He can use this in his fight against anti-White violence. He wrote the white nationalist books "White Girl Bleeds A Lot" and "Don't Make The Black Kids Angry."

He certainly would take a liking to this situation.

The victim, Landen Hoffmann has a long road to recovery. The young child was thrown off the ledge by this asshole from the third floor.

Hoffmann and the asshole do not know each other.

Asshole will face attempted homicide and destruction of property.

"He was enjoying a day at the Mall of America with his mom and friend on Friday morning when a stranger maliciously grabbed him and threw him over the 3rd floor balcony for no apparent reason," the organizer wrote. "The family doesn't know him and are completely clueless as to why this monster would target their family with this heinous act of violence."

The asshole was allegedly banned from the mall numerous times for inappropriate behavior such as throwing things over the ledge. Somehow he wanted to send a message to the world.

A GoFundMe page was started and it's got over $500,000 in donations.

Supporters had pooled more than $443,000 by Sunday afternoon. The fundraiser was posted by Noah Hanneman, who says his wife and Hoffman's mom are best friends.

"Thank you so much everybody for your continued support through donations and prayers! We are all completely overwhelmed with the love and support that has come our way during this tragic time," wrote Hanneman Sunday afternoon. "He had a peaceful sleep and is still continuing to fight his courageous battle, he’s a strong survivor!"

Again, why are we hurting our children?

Theresa Bunn and Hazel Lewis are just two of 75 Chicago women who were murdered in the past 18 years that are unsolved to this day.

Facing pressure from activists over the unsolved killings of 51 women since 2001, the Chicago Police Department has begun to review those cases to determine if a serial killer was at work.

A report by the Murder Accountability Project, a Virginia-based nonprofit group that analyzes information about homicides, said the killings of the 51 women — all of whom were strangled or asphyxiated — “have characteristics of serial murder.”

In the past, Chicago police had collected 21 separate DNA profiles of unidentified people other than the victims, Guglielmi said. There were no matches among the 21 profiles to point to a serial killer, he said.

Guglielmi said multiple DNA profiles were collected in some of the killings. That could be because some of the women were sex workers and had multiple sex partners, he said.

Detectives will coordinate with the FBI when they need technical assistance during their review of the evidence, Guglielmi said.

Police are doing an audit of all of the forensic evidence collected in the cases — everything from fingernails to semen to blood samples, he said.

“It could take a long time” to complete the examination of the cases, Guglielmi said.

According to the Murder Accountability Project’s report, most of the 51 victims in Chicago were found in alleyways, garbage cans, empty lots or abandoned buildings. Many of the cases involved prostitutes and appeared to have been sexually motivated, the report said.

“If you look at these, at the nature of the cases, it’s classic. It couldn’t be more serial-looking,” said Thomas Hargrove, founder of the Murder Accountability Project. “It’s got every element for a classic pattern.”

“It actually stretches credulity to imagine that these 51 women were killed by 51 separate men,” he said.

In an interview Friday, Hargrove said he’s “relieved” the Chicago police are “taking a hard look” at the 51 killings.

“It is extremely valuable to look at all the cases as a group. We are pretty confident there will be commonality,” he said.

The killings were identified using a computer algorithm “known to detect serial killings,” according to the Murder Accountability Project’s report.

Two of the victims, Theresa Bunn and Hazel Marion Lewis, were found dead in burning trash cans within a day of each other in November 2007 at Washington Park, the report said. Bunn was eight months pregnant. At least seven of the victims were found in garbage receptacles.

Back in 2007, I wrote a blog post on Theresa Bunn.  Ms. Bunn was eight months pregnant when she was murdered.  Around the same time period, another story about a missing pregnant woman was found murdered near Cleveland.  She got intense media coverage and police went full force in searching the missing pregnant mother.  Her name is Jesse Davis.  Her murderer was her ex boyfriend, Bobbie Cutts.    Her death and funeral were covered by the media whereas the murder victim from Chicago barely got any coverage.  No obituary, no extensive interviews from friends and family.  Little more than a footnote in Chicago media.

Theresa Bunn was expecting her first child, a son. She was so excited about her journey into motherhood that she went shopping for baby clothes on the day before she went missing. The day after, her badly burned body was found in a dumpster. It was so gruesome to describe.  Her family didn't have a funeral.  Instead, they had a vigil on the site where she was found.

Most of the women were found on the South and West Sides. And most were African-American.

Hargrove turned over his findings to Johnson in March. He also gave the report to Ald. Pat Dowell (3rd) and state Sen. Patricia Van Pelt, D-Chicago, who held a hearing in March to investigate the state crime lab’s backlog of DNA evidence from hundreds of murder cases.

At the Police Board meeting Thursday night, Greer urged Chicago police to begin issuing community alerts and offering other information to the public about the killings, even if the department isn’t ready to determine whether they’re linked.

“Fifty cases is too much. We need accountability posthaste. It’s gotta stop,” Greer said.

But Johnson stressed that there’s nothing to link any of the 51 cases so far.

“Trust me, if there was, there would be no reason for us not to share that with ya’ll,” he said. “What would we gain by not being transparent? Nothing.”

Until we care about vulnerable and marginalized women in Chicago and the world and become proactive in solving the murders and bringing the perpetrator to justice, the misogynoir that fuels those evil men to target Chicago's Black women has gone unabated as well as the general indifference when it comes to Black female victims of crime.

LAPD Dissed Nipsey Hussle!

The Game unearthed disturbing audio of LAPD officers talking shit about Nipsey Hussle.

The Los Angeles Police Department is doing damage control. A few of their officers were attacking Nipsey Hussle's mother, brother, father and Lauren London.

Mind you that many of the LAPD officers had gotten more overtime to cover the funeral.

Well caught on tape were some of the cops berating the slain rapper, his own mother, his father and girlfriend in derogatory terms.

Compton's own The Game has shared the audio on social media and it became viral.

There are many rude and crass comments being made including an alleged officer stating that the slain rapper’s mother “looks like a man and his father looks like a female, go figure.”

Another officer is heard saying, "What they should've done after the funeral is drove the motherfucker and put him in the ground before he starts stinking up the place."

The Los Angeles Police Department denies their officers said that on audio.

However, they are launching an investigation into the matter.

Last week, many celebrities came to Los Angeles for the viewing and funeral of Nipsey Hussle.

There was a mass shooting during the funeral. CBS News reports a shooting during the funeral cost a man his life. One person died and four others were shot in Los Angeles near the funeral procession route for late rapper Nipsey Hussle. Police said, however, there was no indication the Thursday night shooting was connected to the procession.

Gunfire broke out around 6:25 p.m., just a few blocks away from a section of the 25-mile procession route, police said. The procession drew large crowds of people who lingered well into the night. The Los Angeles Times reported that the shooting occurred in the Watts neighborhood after the procession passed through the area.

The victims were three black males and one black female, whose ages ranged from 30-50 years old, Chief Michel Moore tweeted Thursday evening. "We must stop this senseless violence," he said.

Women Of Color Might Abandon The Democratic Party!

Women of color being marginalized by the status quo. Time to shake things up.

The Democratic Party has more women of color representing the House of Representatives.

They really talk a mean game when it comes to inclusiveness but it seems like the Democratic Party is still not welcoming. It's especially comes to women of color. The party continues to fall victim to another pathetic culture war sponsored by that imbecile, Fox News, conservative agitators and Republicans in the House and Senate.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) called out top Democratic leaders for allowing the Republicans to dictate a narrative about her fellow colleague Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

They put us in photos when they want to show our party is diverse. However, when we ask to be at the table, or speak up about issues that impact who we are, what we fight for & why we ran in the first place, we are ignored. Omar along with Tlaib are the first Muslim women to represent Congress. They are women of color and part of the Justice Democrats, a group of progressives determined to oust moderate and conservative Democrats standing in the way of progress.

Omar spoke at a CAIR summit in Los Angeles and a snippet of her comments about 9/11 were used in an attack by the far white and that imbecile.

The narrative is completely false. It was a deliberate attack on Omar because she is a Muslim, a woman of color and an opinion that often is overshadowed by dark overtures sparked by far-right extremism.

Given how the far-white and Republicans are constantly attacking women of color, the Democrats are either silent or complicit to this. I've discussed this on Journal de la Reyna. I think you're seeing a pattern here. Because if I had mentioned those below, then I can assure you that women of color are under attack. I've seen it and I'm for one am tired of it.

Omar is right. She did not come to Washington, DC to be a part of the status quo. She is not going to be lectured by old white men who aged like their policies.

She did not get elected to make people feel comfortable about the status quo.

She came on the backs of young progressives sick of the Democratic Party playing nice to an unwilling, uncompromising and out of touch Republican Party.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rep. Rashida Tliab (D-MI) are being talked about constantly in the junk food media. They are under attack by the far-white and members of their own party. Trump and Republicans are using this to advance an agenda. They can't win on issues so why not pick on women of color who are powerful.

The Democratic Party's top leaders are white, old, rich and status quo. Think about it? If you have Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin and Steny Hoyer dictating the message, we're not going to vote in 2020.

The Democratic Party managed to succeed with nominating an African American man as its candidate for President of the United States. Once he was elected as President of the United States, you seen an uptick in racism. The Republican top senate leader Mitch McConnell promised that he would put the business on the Black guy. He and Republicans dog whistled through 2009 to 2017.

They ran on attacking him, his wife, their children and those who were around them personally.

Yeah, they attacked them for even talking to rappers like Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z and Rick Ross.

They paved the way for one imbecile who is a washed up reality television star to become our current President of the United States.

The Democrats are bragging about how diverse their candidates are. That doesn't mean shit. They can't light the fire to a base that is hoping for more fight and no caving to pressure.

Right now out the many candidates running for the Democratic nomination, five are people of color. There are six women running for the nomination.

They hardly get the free coverage. They barely get the attention because the junk food media is obsessed with Omar, Tlaib and Ocasio-Cortez.

Donald J. Trump enjoyed free publicity because he's white, rich, a household name and a "winner." Even if he fails at truthfulness, he is not called out by his own party. The Republicans are either satisfied with the way he is running things or they are afraid that if you spite him, donors will not help their reelections.

We welcome more women of color to join these lawmakers.

The junk food media, Trump, Republicans and Democrats want women of color to apologize, fall in line, shut up and resign under pressure.

I am tired of the double standards. If you have a white man who lies nonstop, attacks women of color, caters to a base of extremists, attack the very freedoms of human decency and the way of life, why can't someone hold him to the standards?

I swear if the Democrats continue to let women of color down, they will lose in 2020. Mark my words, the Russian propaganda isn't the only thing Democrats got to worry about. They will see a block of voters either sit it out or vote for Trump despite his bullshit.

Trump has a 75% chance of winning reelection.

We need to change the direction. We need to understand that we are all allowed a place at the table.

If we continue to allow Trump and Republicans dictate the narratives, we will lose. I surely don't want to have four more years of Trump but it seems likely we're going to get complicit to the chances he will serve.
