Shirley You Jest!

Did you know this doofus is 23 years old? He looks like he damn near 40 years old.

Nick Shirley, a man from Utah went to Minnesota to punch down on Somali Americans.

The far right grifter wants to be the new Charlie Kirk. 

It appears to be an op to target Somalis in Minneapolis at the behest of Zionism (Israel).

This man along with Cam Higbee work on behalf of white supremacy, the elite and a foreign country engaged in a genocide. They want to promote bullshit to protect the status quo.

Instead of working for good of society, they want to push pranks and operations on false pretenses.

It's no secret that Republicans think very unfavorably of immigrants, Blacks, Muslims, transgender Americans and progressives.

It is no secret that Republicans love to push freedom while in reality act like the big government nannies.

It's free speech.

Sharing images of Black women with children by calling them future thugs. Or White women with children who were born from a father of color. They certainly love calling white women traitors for loving outside their race.

They showed us who they are when they harassed HBCUs in the wake of that white nationalist's death.

They showed us who they are when the Supreme Court rolled back long established rulings, laws and achievements to protect the fragile feelings of white privileged Americans.

What do they want to offer us next?

A bunch of memes depicting Black people posing with firearms, eating chicken, watermelons, peanuts or turkey legs. A mene of Black people drinking a 40oz malt liquor or a grape drink.

Or they want to make memes of bearded men expressing their freedoms to wear a dress, heels or makeup.

They certainly love to attack transgender women for looking way better than the women they try to well.... in Trump’s word "pull up to and grab 'em by the...."

Or a meme where a picture of a turban wearing individual posing with a gun or a depiction of an Arab with the decapitated head of a white person.

Republicans, libertarians and conservatives have always been like this. It was never a closed door or a private chat.

They referred to Black people as monkeys and “the watermelon people” and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies and driving them to suicide and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.

People, please do not resort to the levels of those who profit off the anger. The anger of right wing Americans in the wake of white nationalist Charlie Kirk's death has sparked a censorship and harassment campaign.

The right wing ain't got the smoke for the shooter, his family and the Utah state government allowing open carry on school campuses. They ain't got the smoke for the people who advocate violence against people perceived as threats to society.

They want to go after the vulnerable. Typical of these folks.

All the while, the rich are getting richer. Israel is still committing a genocide and war crimes from every angle. Russia is pushing further in Ukraine with Lithuania and Poland next on the country's agenda. China is becoming the superpower as they are moving on from exporting goods to the United States for other nations.

China is working on solving problems the United States failed at doing. 

Food prices are increasing. 

General merchandise prices are increasing.

The cost of living is increasing.

Inflation has rising this month.

Unemployment is increasing.

Gasoline prices are increasing.

Wages are stagnant.

Jobs are not satisfying.

Where does the outrage go to?

These idiots are at risk of a defamation lawsuit from the people they engage with.

In December 2025, Shirley published a video in which he alleged that Somali-run child care centers were defrauding the federal government. The video followed a federal investigation into Minnesota's Feeding Our Future nonprofit, in which individuals were convicted of diverting millions in funds for low-income children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Shirley's evidence was based on his assertion that he did not see any children at the facilities when he visited them. The video received over 116 million views on Twitter and 1.6 million views on YouTube.

The video was recorded by Shirley alongside a man named David, who had been previously directed by the Republican Party's Minnesota House of Representatives caucus to work on it. House speaker Lisa Demuth said that the caucus had been "working with Nick Shirley and agency whistleblowers" to hold Minnesota governor Tim Walz "accountable". Representative Harry Niska also said the party had provided information shared in Shirley's video.

Shirley showed in the video that one child care organization had an empty parking lot at the time he visited it. A man he interviewed in the street said that the organization was run by "Somalians" and that he had never seen a child at the facility. A manager for the organization later said that Shirley's video had been recorded when the facility was closed. He further said the organization employed 25 people and served about 50 children daily.

Police were present in two instances during the video after receiving multiple complaints of harassment. Shirley was escorted out of the building by responding officers enforcing trespassing ordinances on private property.

Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families Commissioner Tikki Brown said that all the active day care centers Shirley mentioned had been inspected by a state agent within the previous six months, and that in each case, children were present. She said that two of the centers Shirley visited had been closed at the time he arrived. At the same time KARE 11 reported that one of them, the Quality Learning Center (popularly misspelled as "Quality Learing Center"), was open and had children inside. According to state officials, that organization had decided to remain open a few days after it had told the state government that it was going to close permanently.

A KSTP investigation found that all the facilities Shirley visited had active licenses, except for two that "appear[ed] to be permanently closed". It also found that they had "between three and 10 safety violations", but did not mention any fraud or absence of children. The investigation found a "steady stream of kids and parents could be seen coming in and out of" Quality Learning Center. CNN confirmed that children were present at the facility.

A state investigation into Sweet Angel Child Care conducted on December 4, 2025, found no evidence of fraud. State records also report that Mako Childcare Center, which Shirley visited, had closed three years before his arrival.

Shirley claimed in his video that a child care facility named ABC Learning Center was empty. According to CBS News, security camera footage from that day showed multiple children arriving there with their parents. When presented with video evidence by CNN that children were arriving to a daycare center, Shirley dismissed it as the company "showing face".

You know its an op. The idiot didn't proper AI tools cover up the wording on the business. It literally says Qaulity Learning Center and this doofus Nick Shirley intentionally misspelled it to prevent a trademark lawsuit. He knows he is at risk of a defamation lawsuit.

Journalists from the Minnesota Star Tribune visited 10 child care centers featured in Shirley's video. They reported, with photographic evidence, that "about 50" children, including babies and preschoolers, were present at the Minnesota Child Care Center. They also found children present in all three other facilities that allowed them entry, while the remaining six were either closed at the time of their visit or did not allow them in.

Minnesota childcare workers Umi Hassan and Ahmed Hasan said that Shirley's video was politically motivated. Quality Learning Center manager Ibrahim Ali said the video was dishonest and asked him: "Are you trying to record that we're doing fraud, or are you trying to put the Somali name and fraud in the same sentence?"

Vice President JD Vance and Elon Musk shared Shirley's video. 

FBI Director Kash Patel stated that "the FBI believes this is just the tip of a very large iceberg. We will continue to follow the money and protect children, and this investigation very much remains ongoing." The federal government later announced that it had frozen all child care payments to Minnesota. Republican representative Tom Emmer said he was calling for "the denaturalization and deportation of every Somali engaged in fraud in Minnesota".

Walz, responding to the controversy in Shirley's video, said the Trump administration was "politicizing the issue to defund programs that help Minnesotans".

Democratic leader Richard Carlbom alleged that House Speaker Demuth had "admitted" that "Minnesota Republicans chose to partner with a YouTube conspiracy theorist". State Senator Erin Murphy expressed concern that Shirley's video put the state's child care industry at risk.

A number of Minnesota child care employees reported receiving threatening phone calls after the video's publication. KMSP reported that some day care workers felt harassed by the calls they received.[23] Washington state attorney general Nick Brown said that he had received reports of Somali-run "daycare providers being harassed and accused of fraud with little to no fact-checking" in his state.

A day care center in the state was reportedly vandalized soon after the video was shared on social media. Nasrulah Mohamed, who managed the facility, claimed documents related to children and employees were stolen. He attributed the incident to backlash from Shirley's video, which accused the company of fraud. Mohamed said that he had reported the incident to police and that the company continued to receive threatening messages after the attack.

Police in Columbus, Ohio have responded to at least three reports of people attempting to visit Somali-immigrant operated daycares. Mayor Andrew Ginther called it a "trend" of trespassing and harassment and warned residents to report any more unlawful behavior.

Again the pink washing. Those who support the Pro Palestinian movement who identify as LGBTQ are being attacked. They gaslight that community with the allegations of Palestine hates LGBTQ.

Well the United States is trying to push for laws to rollback rights for the LGBTQ. 

So what's your point?

Shirley is part of that community, allegedly.

Gov. Tim Walz, the former vice presidential nominee and current scapegoat for President Donald J. Trump is under fire for an allegation of allowing his state to committ fraud.

An allegation that Shirley is trying to incorporate on Somali-Americans and immigrants.

To aid the breakaway Somaliland and Israel, the noise needs to find a reason to target.

Ignoring the noise is what 2026 should be. We cannot be triggered by the elite. Minnesota Republicans who are trying to win back the U.S. senate and governor's mansion have a role in the Nick Shirley bullshit.

Lisa Demuth, the state House Speaker and Republican seeking the gubernatorial nomination had instructed Shirley to visit the daycare centers.

Knowing that most daycares and schools have automatic locks and prevention for strangers to enter without proper identification, Shirley was playing on the fear of Black, Brown, Muslim, immigrant and non speaking English as his way to make it about "fraud."

Mr. Mayor!

The day has come, the new mayor of New York City, Zohran Kwame Mamdani.


The 34 year old will have four years to prove the ney sayers wrong. The world is counting on Mamdani to shake up the establishment amd break barriers for more people to run.

As mayor of New York City, Mamdani is taking over one of the most unrelenting jobs in American politics with a promise to transform government on behalf of the city’s striving, struggling working class.

Mamdani, a Democrat, was sworn in at a decommissioned subway station below City Hall just after midnight, placing his hand on a Quran as he took his oath as the city’s first Muslim mayor.

After working part of the night in his new office, Mamdani returned to City Hall in a taxi cab around midday Thursday for a grander public inauguration where Vermont independent U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, one of the mayor’s political heroes, administered the oath for a second time.

“Beginning today, we will govern expansively and audaciously. We may not always succeed, but never will we be accused of lacking the courage to try,” Mamdani told a cheering crowd.

“To those who insist that the era of big government is over, hear me when I say this: No longer will City Hall hesitate to use its power to improve New Yorkers’ lives,” he said.

Throngs turned out in the frigid cold for an inauguration viewing party just south of City Hall on a stretch of Broadway known as the “Canyon of Heroes,” famous for its ticker-tape parades.

New York state attorney general Letitia James swore Mamandi on Wednesday.

Mamdani wasted little time getting to work after the event.

He revoked multiple executive orders issued by the previous administration since Sept. 26, 2024, the date federal authorities announced former Mayor Eric Adams had been indicted on corruption charges, which were later dismissed following intervention by the Trump administration.

Then he visited an apartment building in Brooklyn to announce he is revitalizing a city office dedicated to protecting tenants and creating two task forces focused on housing construction.

‘I will govern as a democratic socialist’

Throughout the daytime ceremony, Mamdani and other speakers hit on the theme that carried him to victory in the election: Using government power to lift up the millions of people who struggle with the city’s high cost of living.

Mamdani peppered his remarks with references to those New Yorkers, citing workers in steel-toed boots, halal cart vendors “whose knees ache from working all day” and cooks “wielding a thousand spices.”

“I was elected as a democratic socialist and I will govern as a democratic socialist,” Mamdani said. “I will not abandon my principles for fear of being deemed ‘radical.’”

Before administering the oath, Sanders told the crowd that most of the things Mamdani wants to do — including raising taxes on the rich — aren’t radical at all.

“In the richest country in the history of the world, making sure that people can live in affordable housing is not radical,” he told the crowd. “It is the right and decent thing to do.”

Mamdani was accompanied on stage by his wife, Rama Duwaji. Adams was also in attendance, sitting near another former mayor, Bill de Blasio.

Actor Mandy Patinkin, who recently hosted Mamdani to celebrate Hannukah, sang “Over the Rainbow” with children from an elementary school chorus. The invocation was given by Imam Khalid Latif, the director of the Islamic Center of New York City. Poet Cornelius Eady read an original poem called “Proof.”

In addition to being the city’s first Muslim mayor, Mamdani is also its first of South Asian descent and the first to be born in Africa. At 34, Mamdani is also the city’s youngest mayor in generations.

Free child care and bus rides

At the watch party on Broadway, onlookers stood shoulder to shoulder gazing up at several jumbotrons and singing and dancing to stave off the cold, with some passing out hot cocoa and hand warmers. Many described feeling as though they were witnessing history.

Among them was Ariel Segura, a 16-year-old Bronx resident, who had arrived five hours earlier to secure a place near the front of the crowd.

“I’m out here fan-girling a politician, it’s kind of crazy,” he said, wiping away tears as Mamdani concluded his speech. “Now it’s time to hold him accountable.”

In a campaign that helped make “affordability” a buzzword across the political spectrum, Mamdani ran on a focused platform that included promises of free child care, free buses, a rent freeze for about 1 million households and a pilot of city-run grocery stores.

Mamdani insisted in his inaugural address that he will not squander his opportunity to implement those policies.

“A moment like this comes rarely. Seldom do we hold such an opportunity to transform and reinvent. Rarer still is it the people themselves whose hands are on the levers of change. And yet we know that too often in our past, moments of great possibility have been promptly surrendered to small imagination and smaller ambition,” he said.

But he will also have to face the everyday responsibilities of running America’s largest city: handling trash and snow and rats, while getting blamed for subway delays and potholes.

In his speech, Mamdani acknowledged the task ahead, saying he knows many will be watching to see whether he can succeed.

“They want to know if the left can govern. They want to know if the struggles that afflict them can be solved. They want to know if it is right to hope again,” he said. “So, standing together with the wind of purpose at our backs, we will do something that New Yorkers do better than anyone else: We will set an example for the world.”

Kathy Hochul, Chuck Schumer and Eric Adams need to go somewhere. Lousy establishment Democrats and independents failed at messaging.

Quick rise to power

Mamdani was born in Kampala, Uganda, the son of filmmaker Mira Nair and Mahmood Mamdani, an academic and author. His family moved to New York City when he was 7, with Mamdani growing up in a post-9/11 city where Muslims didn’t always feel welcome. He became an American citizen in 2018.

He worked on political campaigns for Democratic candidates in the city before he sought public office himself, winning a state Assembly seat in 2020 to represent a section of Queens.

Now that he has taken office, Mamdani and his wife will depart their one-bedroom, rent stabilized apartment in the outer-borough to take up residence in the stately mayoral residence in Manhattan.

The new mayor inherits a city on the upswing, after years of slow recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Violent crime has dropped to pre-pandemic lows. Tourists are back. Unemployment, which soared during the pandemic years, is also back to pre-COVID levels.

Yet deep concerns remain about high prices and rising rents.

In opening remarks to the crowd, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez praised New Yorkers for choosing “courage over fear.”

“We have chosen prosperity for the many over spoils for the few,” she said.

If a democratic socialist can be a senator or a mayor, the possibility of a governor or president can happen.

Dealing with Trump

During the mayoral race, President Donald Trump threatened to withhold federal funding from the city if Mamdani won and mused about sending National Guard troops to the city.

But Trump surprised supporters and foes alike by inviting the Democrat to the White House for what ended up being a cordial meeting in November.

“I want him to do a great job and will help him do a great job,” Trump said.

Still, tensions between the two leaders are almost certain to resurface, given their deep policy disagreements, particularly over immigration.

Several speakers at Thursday’s inauguration criticized the Trump administration’s move to deport more immigrants and expressed hope that Mamdani’s City Hall would be an ally to those the president has targeted.

Mamdani also faces skepticism and opposition from some members of the city’s Jewish community over his criticisms of Israel’s government.

Still, Mamdani supporters in Thursday’s crowd expressed optimism he’d be a unifying force.

“There are moments where everyone in New York comes together, like when the Mets won the World Series in ’86,” said Mary Hammann, 64, a musician with the Metropolitan Opera. “This feels like that — just colder.”

White men are proving to be major disasters in many of these countries. The United States, Russia, Israel, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Vatican City, Monaco, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine and every other nation led by a white man or woman has led the world to endless wars, chaos, poverty, punch down politics, genocide and disease.

The rest of the world is pillaged of its resources, its sovereignty and right to exist.

The U.S. dollar is on a major decline as we speak but don't tell that to President Donald J. Trump.

That's why the affordability crisis exist. Had the U.S. stopped aiding Israel and Ukraine, fighting these proxy wars in the Global South, Asia Pacific and coalition of BRICS, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Yeah, Trump in his first term, former president Joe Biden in his only term and now this second term from Trump led to the cost of living skyrocketing. A paycheck is worthless now. The weekly pay cannot sustain the price of groceries, rent, insurance, a doctor's visit, a vacation or child care.

Mamdani won on tackling at least some of these major issues.

Earbuds In The Greaser Burns Woman!

If you lose your Airpods, Samsung Buds or Skullcandy earbuds, just replace them. Do not try to retrieve them in a dangerous working environment.

A Martins Ferry, Ohio employee was too distracted. Her earbud fell into a hot oil dispenser and she literally reached inside to retrieve it.

She ended up suffering severe burns on her hand. She was rushed to WVU Medicine in Wheeling.

It could be a termination or a just an unfortunate incident, but trust me, I bet she won't do that again.

This happened on Tuesday and the local junk food media for the Wheeling metro area have no other information at the time.

If an earbud gets into grease, first power it down immediately and gently wipe off the surface with a dry cloth to remove as much grease as possible, then use a slightly alcohol-dampened cotton swab (avoiding mesh) for the exterior, and for the speaker mesh, use a dry brush or swab to dislodge it, or try soaking removable tips in soapy water; for serious internal grease, absorbent materials like kitty litter or baby powder can help draw it out over time. 

  • Power Off: Immediately turn off the earbud to prevent electrical damage.
    • Wipe Exterior: Use a microfiber cloth to wipe off visible grease.
    • Alcohol/Wipe: Use a slightly damp cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol or an alcohol wipe on the hard plastic parts, avoiding the speaker mesh.
    • Dry Completely: Let it air dry thoroughly.

    Honey Traps Set Up A Man!

    Two women and their pimp rob a man.

    Two women lured a man to a Rhode Island hotel casino where their pimp robbed and beaten him. 

    My question: How the hell did two 19 year old women managed to get into a casino to lure a man to a hotel?

    Me thinks he tried to pick up prostitutes amd they lured him to a hotel where their pimp was expecting them. When he got into the room, the pimp pulled the blicky and ordered him to empty his wallet and electronics.

    He put the guy on the ground, ordered him to not get up. As they left, the hotel room cameras caught them leaving. 15 minutes in, the victim notifies hotel staff and the law.

    They get apprehended and are held on some serious charges.

    Three Massachusetts residents are facing charges after they allegedly lured a man from the floor of Bally's Hotel Casino in Rhode Island to a hotel room and then robbed him at knifepoint.

    Police in Lincoln, Rhode Island, said they responded to a reported robbery at the casino around 1:43 a.m. on Monday. Their investigation determined that two women had conspired to lure a male victim from the casino floor to a hotel room. Once inside the hotel room, the victim was confronted by a man who threatened him with a knife and robbed him of over $1,500 in cash.

    Don't be like this in 2026.

    After the incident, the victim was allowed to leave and was instructed not to contact authorities.

    Following their investigation, Lincoln police said they arrested the three suspects, all of whom are from Massachusetts.

    Dominyck S. Sims, 28, of Worcester, is now charged with first degree robbery, conspiracy, weapons other than firearms prohibited and disorderly conduct. Naushka A. Machuca, 19, of Marlborough, is charged with first degree robbery, conspiracy and disorderly conduct. And Tashawana Tuckta-Warner, 19, of Boston, is charged with first degree robbery and conspiracy. Tuckta-Warner has a history of being a runaway and unruly.

    They could face 10 years in the iron college if convicted.


    The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Honey traps are people who manipulate victims by using romantic or sexual allure to compromise someone for information, to rob the victim of money, or gain an influence on policies. It is common in espionage, organized crime, and online scams, involving a covert agent seducing a target to exploit their trust for sensitive data or actions, often leading to blackmail or control.

    Welcome to the year 2026 of the 21st Century. President Donald J. Trump is the second U.S. president since Grover Cleveland to serve two separate terms. Cleveland was polarizing and left the United States in a neverending crisis. Trump is repeating the mistakes of Cleveland. Trump has exposed the problems of white men being in leadership roles like President of the United States.

    For the first time, more people are starting to get tired of white men being leaders.

    People are tired of billionaires hoarding wealth. 

    People are tired of the world allowing Israel, Russia and the United States defy international law and never face consequences for their actions.

    The status quo is driving frustration among Americans.

    In 2026, the president and Republicans have ten months to turn things around. So far, they have dismantled every form of the federal government in some fashion.

    Their approach on issues show they are the big government nannies. For years, they painted the Democratic Party as big government nannies for years.

    Ready for another chaotic year.

    Trump has a job approval of 34% as we close out the year.

    January 

    • Kash Banks and the honey trap: The promising rap career of a Ohio man ended and fingers are pointing at a woman who has a criminal history. He was found in a third-floor apartment in the Broadway-Slavic Village neighborhood (5115 Broadway Avenue), a location different from his own residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his death was ruled a homicide. A suspect, Devon Jones (age 25), was arrested in Pennsylvania in January 2025 by U.S. Marshals and local police. He faced charges related to the shooting, with bond set at $1 million in February 2025. The investigation was ongoing as of early 2025, with police seeking public tips initially. Lanesha Jones, a Puerto Rican Black woman from Cleveland allegedly set Banks up. Friends had warned him that she had some issues but he ignored it. She appeared on the A&E series The First 48. She was convicted of involuntary manslaughter, aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence. She was released from the iron college in 2022 and is currently on her five year in house. Jones was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. 
    • TikTok: In the first month, then President Joe Biden wavered on the law he signed. The infamous ban on the No. 1 most popular social media site was bipartisan. For Biden, he claimed that TikTok was  allegedly using Chinese software to keep track of users and it was a national security risk. The actual reason was the social media platform was giving unfiltered images of children being killed by Israel and it was a game changer in public support. AIPAC and the ADL pushed for a ban and it was endorsed by Benjamin Netanyahu. This decision cost the Vice President Kamala Harris the 2024 election. Because of Biden's tone deaf responses to the economy, the genocide in Gaza, the pardoning of Hunter Biden, the TikTok ban and lastly, the abrupt withdraw from the race after opponents wanted a fair primary cost the Democrats big time. TikTok went offline for two days before President Donald J. Trump came into power. Trump quickly extended the deadline and pushed for American investors to buy it. Enter Larry and David Ellison. The father and son billionaires who openly support the Israeli Defense Forces is finalizing the deal and will incorporate TikTok US from ByteDance to Paramount Skydance. The new TikTok will monitor "antisemitism" and deplatform Palestinian content as graphic. It will become MySpace once the platform starts actually denying posts that go against the status quo.
    • The Trump and Vance inauguration: Only 25 million watched President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance get sworn inside the halls of the U.S. Capitol. At age 78, Trump once again became the oldest president. Allegedly, the president was concerned about catching the flu since weather conditions were bitterly cold. The event included a swearing-in ceremony, a signing ceremony, an inaugural luncheon, a first honors ceremony, and then a procession and parade at Capital One Arena. Inaugural balls were held at various venues before and after the inaugural ceremonies. The Capitol rotunda can seat approximately 600 people; the number of attendees has not been disclosed. Outgoing U.S. president Joe Biden (who defeated Trump in 2020 and was inaugurated as the 46th president in 2021), outgoing U.S. vice president Kamala Harris (who had been Trump's main opponent in 2024), former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama (whom Trump first succeeded in 2017) attended the inauguration. Former first ladies Hillary Clinton (Trump's former opponent in 2016) and Laura Bush also attended the inauguration, but former first lady Michelle Obama was absent. Former U.S. vice presidents Dan Quayle and Mike Pence (who served under Trump during his first term) and former second lady Marilyn Quayle were also in attendance, while former vice presidents Al Gore and Dick Cheney and former second lady Karen Pence were absent. New York mayor Eric Adams and media proprietor Rupert Murdoch also attended the inauguration. Numerous businesspeople including Bernard Arnault, Delphine Arnault, Sergey Brin, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg, among the world's richest people, attended the inauguration. They had a prominent role at the event, seated together on the platform alongside other distinguished guests, including Cabinet nominees and elected officials. TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew attended the inauguration. Alphabet's Sundar Pichai, Apple's Tim Cook, OpenAI's Sam Altman, Reliance's Mukesh Ambani, and Uber's Dara Khosrowshahi also attended the event. Las Vegas Sands owner Miriam Adelson also attended the ceremony. Several celebrities and sports figures – including Victor Willis, Carrie Underwood (who sang "America the Beautiful"), Christopher Macchio (who sang the national anthem), Antonio Brown, Mike Tyson, Jorge Masvidal, Evander Kane, Gianni Infantino, Anuel AA, Justin Quiles, Rod Wave, Kodak Black, Lee Greenwood, Fivio Foreign, Jake and Logan Paul, Theo Von, Conor McGregor, Danica Patrick, Dana White, Joe Rogan, and Wayne Gretzky – attended the ceremony. Far right agitators Charlie Kirk, Laura Ingraham, and Tucker Carlson also attended the event. Trump's inaugural address started with references to the indictments against him, which he described as unfounded and politically motivated, followed by the announcement of the new administration's policy priorities, including immigration restrictions, the easing of environmental regulations, anti-DEI and anti-gender ideology policies, the establishment of a Department of Government Efficiency, and a negotiated settlement to the Russo-Ukrainian war. Trump defined his presidency as the beginning of a golden era for America.
    • Elon Musk Nazi salute: A billionaire makes a salute that generates controversy. It was a salute that most saw as fascist. Yet, the ADL did not budge on it. Elon Musk twice made a salute interpreted by many as a Nazi or a fascist Roman salute. It was widely condemned as an intentional Nazi salute in Germany, where making such gestures is illegal. The Anti-Defamation League said it was not a Nazi salute, but other Jewish organizations disagreed and condemned the salute. American public opinion was divided on partisan lines as to whether it was a fascist salute. Musk dismissed the accusations of Nazi sympathies, deriding them as "dirty tricks" and a "tired" attack. Neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups celebrated it as a Nazi salute. Multiple European political parties demanded that Musk be banned from entering their countries. This would be one of the many things that led to the bromance between Trump and Musk to end. Musk would end up being appointed a special advisor secretary to the Department of Government Efficiency. In his nearly four months of service, his son, X Æ A-Xii told the president to shut up. Ashley St. Clair emerges as Musk's 13th baby mama. Musk revealed he has a 14th child. Musk got into a physical confrontation with Scott Bessent, Trump’s Treasury Secretary. He also nearly got into a fight with Stephen Miller after he allegedly groomed Katie Miller into a secret tryst. Musk turned on Trump after he passed the Big Beautiful Bill into law. Musk said it was a big bloated mess of expenses. Musk also said that Trump was on the Jeffrey Epstein list and called for it to be released. The president wanted to revoke his citizenship. Musk ended up distancing himself from Trump after stocks fell with Tesla, SpaceX and X Media. Musk somewhat patched up his feud with Trump after the shooting of far right white nationalist Charlie Kirk.
    • Deadly Philadelphia plane crash: Med Jets Flight 056, a Learjet 55 operated by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, crashed in the Castor Gardens neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, shortly after takeoff, killing everyone on board and two people on the ground. The aircraft was on a medevac flight from Northeast Philadelphia Airport to Tijuana International Airport, with a planned refueling stop at Springfield–Branson National Airport. Six people, including a young patient and her mother, were on board. The aircraft struck multiple buildings and vehicles during the accident, which caused fires and explosions that killed two people on the ground and injured at least 23 others. Jet Rescue Air Ambulance released the names of the crew and passengers aboard the flight: captain Alan Alejandro Montoya Perales, co-pilot Josué de Jesús Juárez Juárez, Dr. Raúl Meza Arredondo, paramedic Rodrigo López Padilla, pediatric patient Valentina Guzmán Murillo and her mother Lizeth Murillo Ozuna.
    • New Orleans Truck Attack: On New Year's Day, a man traveled from Houston to attack partygoers in the French Quarter of New Orleans. It was the first of many intentional vehicle attacks this year. Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old Muslim American man, rammed a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, then exited the truck and engaged in a shootout with police before being fatally shot. Fourteen victims were killed, plus the perpetrator, and at least fifty-seven others were injured, including two police officers who were shot. The attack occurred during New Year celebrations in the city, which was scheduled to host the 2025 Sugar Bowl later that day. The assailant, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was an American-born resident of Houston, Texas. An Islamic State (ISIS) flag was found in the truck. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) determined that Jabbar had been inspired by ISIS. It investigated the matter as domestic terrorism, since there was no evidence of any foreign direction behind the attack. Jabbar, who had been radicalized, posted videos pledging his allegiance to ISIS in the hours before the attack. Again, the alliance to ISIS is irrelevant. What was relevant was the fact he served in the military and was driven by mental illness and frustrations. Kareem Badawi, 18, Martin “Tiger” Bech, 27, Andrew Dauphin, 26, Nikyra Cheyenne Dedeaux, 18, Billy DiMaio, 25, Hubert Gauthreaux, 21, Reggie Hunter, 37, Terrence Kennedy, 63, Nicole Perez, 27, Edward Pettifer, 31, LaTasha Polk, 47, Brandon Taylor, 43, Matthew Tenedorio, 25 and Elliot Wilkinson, 40 were killed. Jabbar, a Black former United States Army staff sergeant converted to Islam after being raised a conservative Baptist Christian. He spen ten years as a human resources specialist and an information technology specialist. He was deployed to Afghanistan from February 2009 to January 2010. He was honorably discharged at the rank of staff sergeant. He left active duty in 2015, and was in the United States Army Reserve until 2020. He enrolled at Georgia State University in 2015 and graduated in 2017, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in computer information systems. Jabbar partied and used alcohol in college, causing his grades to slip and losing him a scholarship. Despite Jabbar's growing interest in Islam, his acquaintances saw no signs of extremism. Jabbar was divorced three times and had financial problems. His first marriage ended in divorce in 2012, he married again (2013 to 2016), and finally a third time (2017 to 2022). He secured a job at Deloitte in 2021 as a "senior solutions specialist" in government and public services with a yearly salary of $120,000, a quarter of which was spent in alimony and child support. The husband of one of his ex-wives said that Jabbar had been behaving unpredictably in the months before the attack, seemingly motivated by his religious views, and the couple decided to limit Jabbar's contact with their children. In 2024, Jabbar moved to a Muslim community north of Houston, where he isolated himself, and started publishing recordings to SoundCloud, in which he espoused conservative religious views. In the recordings, Jabbar condemned music as a gateway "into the things that God had made forbidden to us" such as alcohol and marijuana. In an early 2024 recording, he said that "the voice of Satan spreading among Prophet Muhammad's followers [...] is a sign of the end times." He was not seen attending either of the two nearby mosques and was not a formal member of any of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston's 21 congregations. It is unclear exactly what factors influenced Jabbar's radicalization, although investigators said that his views became significantly more extreme after the beginning of the Gaza war in 2023. Jabbar traveled alone to Cairo, Egypt in late-June 2023, spending eleven days in the country, followed by a three-day stay in Ontario in mid-July; U.S. investigators are probing what Jabbar did while abroad. In videos posted to Facebook between 1:29 and 3:02 a.m.—minutes before the truck attack—Jabbar pledged allegiance (bay'at) to ISIS. He said he wanted his act to highlight the "war between the believers and the disbelievers" and that he had considered organizing a family "celebration" where he would have them "witness the killing of the apostates." The FBI said it was confident that Jabbar acted alone. While Jabbar took violent inspiration from ISIS, investigators have not found evidence he had received any direct contact or direction from the terrorist group. Possible self-radicalization reflects a pattern seen in previous jihadist attacks.
    • Las Vegas Truck Attack: In the morning of Jan. 1, an improvised explosive device exploded in a Tesla Cybertruck parked outside the main entrance of the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas in Paradise, Nevada, United States. The vehicle's sole occupant died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head immediately prior to the explosion and seven bystanders were injured by the blast. Authorities found that the vehicle contained firework mortars and gas canisters, which had fueled the explosion and fire. Authorities identified the driver and alleged perpetrator as 37-year-old Matthew Alan Livelsberger, an American-born, active-duty United States Army Special Forces soldier from Colorado Springs, Colorado, who was on leave from overseas duty. Livelsberger wrote two digital letters in which he said he was using explosives to convey a political message and ease his mental burdens. Livelsberger also sent an email manifesto stating he was under surveillance due to his knowledge of advanced military technologies and covert operations, including an alleged cover-up of war crimes. The manifesto narrative, which detailed plans to escape across the Mexico border, showed no suicidal intent and conflicts with the two digital letters apparently authored earlier that month. The truck explosion was one of two vehicular attacks that occurred in the United States on the first day of 2025, the other being the New Orleans truck attack hours earlier. Authorities consider the two unrelated.

    February 

    • Gaza The Riveria of the Middle East: President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social his vision of Gaza once Israel eradicate the innocent people. Trump posted on X and Truth Social, "Trump Gaza" which is a colonialist propaganda video using AI to depict him, Elon Musk and Benjamin Netanyahu lounging and lavishing in the "Riveria of the Middle East." The 33-second video, which the president shared on Truth Social, starts with a shot of the city in ruins after the Israeli military’s 15-month bombardment campaign. Text on the screen then reads “Gaza 2025 — What’s next.” The AI footage then pans to a scene of presumably tech billionaire and senior advisor Elon Musk enjoying a meal and laughing, as the sun shines and people dance around him. “No more tunnels, no more fear,” the voice in the video sings. “Trump Gaza is finally here. Trump Gaza shining bright, golden future, brand new light.” The video also features children holding gold balloons also made to look like Trump and a renovated beachfront with luxury hotels and money flying in the air. 

      He has also suggested that Palestinians in be permanently relocated after the war between Israel and Hamas is over. It also had bearded women belly dancing...... It also shows a shot of a “Trump Gaza” building and toward the end, the U.S. president and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seem to be enjoying drinks in the sun, shirtless. The AI film comes as Trump has doubled down in recent weeks on a plan for the U.S. to take responsibility for the enclave, currently controlled by Palestinian militant group Hamas. The president has proposed turning the Strip into a “Riviera of the Middle East.”
    • Joy Ann Reid: The shocking firing of MSNBC (now MS NOW) personalities Joy Ann Reid, Katie Phang and Matthew Dowd. Reid's firing came in February. The decision to let Reid and Phang go angered Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes, Nicolle Wallace, Jen Psaki and Stephanie Ruhle. Trump cheered their removals. Reid was one of the most vocal personalities to address Israel as a threat to the United States. The network was being pressured to drop Reid and Phang because they were too real. You know what I mean. Reid has moved onto the independent podcast circuit and has teamed up Medhi Hassan, Don Lemon and Tiffany Cross to address Trump, Democrats failures to reach out, Israel meddling in our elections and topics too taboo for TV. Matthew Dowd was fired after the Charlie Kirk assassination. He made reference to the remarks Kirk made on his podcast and in his events. Dowd was fired because he said "hateful words" that were spewed by Kirk.
    • Lindy Li: A chameleon or hyena in heels. Lindy Li, becomes more infamous than Jeffrey Shaun King. Democrats are warning Republicans to avoid her. Li, a Chinese American politician and political operative has become the new favorite of the far right. Now that Michelle Malkin "retired" from the game, Li picked up the mantle. Li officially became a commentator on Fox. She immediately attacked Harris and woke.
    • Kendrick Lamar Super Bowl performance: The Apple Music Halftime Show was one of the best in modern music history. It comes on top of the 2022 performance of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar with guest appearances from Anderson .Paak and 50 Cent. K. Dot's performance went down in modern history as retaliation against former ally Drake. Not only did Lamar run a set featuring Samuel L. Jackson, Serena Williams and SZA, but he incorporated his roots in Compton. The introduction to Lamar's performance began with an instrumental version of Ghais Guevara's "The Old Guard is Dead." The performance began with Kendrick Lamar and his backup dancers getting out of a 1980s Buick GNX and onto a stage resembling part of a PlayStation controller. The opening was a portion of the unreleased song "Bodies". Samuel L. Jackson appeared in a recurring role as Uncle Sam, who provided satirical commentary and advice to Kendrick between songs to illustrate the cultural divide of America. Lamar initially teased a performance of "Not Like Us", breaking the fourth wall and stating "I wanna play their favorite song, but you know they love to sue." Lamar played "Luther" and "All the Stars" with SZA before returning to "Not Like Us". Lamar looked directly into the camera with a smile when he rapped "Say Drake, I hear you like 'em young". The lyric including the word "pedophile" was censored, but the audience could be heard shouting the lyric "tryna strike a chord and it's probably A minor" along with him a few lines later. Professional tennis player Serena Williams, who shares Lamar's hometown of Compton, made a cameo appearance as a dancer doing a crip walk during "Not Like Us", a reference to Williams performing a similar dance after her victory at the 2012 Summer Olympics, for which she faced some criticism. Williams's appearance was also received as a diss towards Drake, with whom she was rumored to have dated several years earlier. The performance was capped off by "TV Off" with Mustard coming out as a special guest, finally with Lamar "turning the TV off" and the words "game over" being displayed through crowd wristband lights.

    Mahmoud Khalil was arrested because he led a Students for Justice protest. Marco Rubio and the State Department claimed his Green Card was expired and they tried to deport him on the grounds of antisemitism.

    March

    • Angie Stone: The tragic death of R&B legend. We will address D'Angelo later. After leaving a performance in Mobile, Alabama, Angie Stone and her tour van were involved in a fatal car accident on Interstate 65 in Montgomery. She was scheduled to perform in Atlanta. Stone (born Angela Laverne Brown) was killed in a crash on Interstate 65 in Montgomery County early Saturday morning, her manager Deborah Champagne confirmed to WSFA 12 News. She was 63. She rose to fame in the late 1970s as member of the hip hop trio the Sequence. In the early 1990s, she became a member of the R&B trio Vertical Hold. Stone then signed with Arista Records to release her debut solo album Black Diamond (1999), which received gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and spawned the single "No More Rain (In This Cloud)". Stone leaves behind two children. Stone's daughter, Diamond, was born in 1984 and is from her marriage to Rodney Stone, also known as Lil' Rodney C!, from the hip-hop group Funky Four Plus One. Diamond contributed background vocals to Stone's 2007 song "Baby". Diamond gave birth to Stone's grandson in 2008 and another grandchild in July 2012. During the 1990s, Stone was in a relationship with neo soul singer D'Angelo. They have a son named Michael D'Angelo Archer II. He was born in 1998.
    • No Other Land: The documentary outlying the life of Palestinians living under an illegal occupation in the West Bank took home an Academy Award. Israel was upset over it. No Other Land is a 2024 documentary film directed by Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor in their directorial debut. The film was made by a Palestinian-Israeli collective of four activists in what they describe as an act of resistance on the path to justice during the ongoing conflict in the region. A co-production between Palestine and Norway, the film was selected for the Panorama section at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere on 16 February 2024, winning the Panorama Audience Award for Best Documentary Film, and the Berlinale Documentary Film Award. The film won Best Documentary Feature Film at the 97th Academy Awards. The Oscar winning filmmaker Hamdan Ballal was one of three Palestinians lynched in the village of Susiya, according to attorney Lea Tsemel, who is representing them. Police told her they were being held at a military base for medical treatment, but she said Tuesday morning that she had not been able to reach them and had no further information on their whereabouts. Basel Adra, another co-director, witnessed the detention and said around two dozen settlers — some masked, some carrying guns, some in Israeli Defence Forces uniform — attacked the village. Soldiers who arrived pointed their guns at the Palestinians, while settlers continued throwing stones. “We came back from the Oscars and every day since there is an attack on us,” Adra told The Associated Press. “This might be their revenge on us for making the movie. It feels like a punishment.” The Israeli military said it seized three Palestinians under the false claims of hurling rocks at forces and one Israeli civilian involved in a “violent confrontation” between Israelis and Palestinians — a claim witnesses interviewed by the AP disputed. The military said it had transferred them to Israeli police for questioning and had evacuated an Israeli citizen from the area to receive medical treatment.
    • Vice President JD Vance's cold reception in Greenland: The vice president and wife, Second Lady Usha Vance went to autonomous Danish region to convince a small group of independence supporters to join the chaotic United States. The Danish are waning patience when it comes to the insults, the threats of tariffs and the threats of a violent seizing of their territory. The reaction by members of Greenland’s parliament and residents has rendered that unlikely, with anger erupting over the Trump administration’s attempts to annex the vast Arctic island.     • Karmelo Anthony: The Black version of Kyle Rittenhouse and George Zimmerman. It happened in a Texas city. A Black teen is stabbed to death of a white teen. The suspect is in custody. The far right quickly made the  Mugshots of people killed by police seem to be the justification for state violence.

      Instead of thinking about the decisions of a police officer who "feared for his life" whenever a suspect is armed or not, the far right loves to justify Black suspects being shot or killed. Austin Metcalf and Karmelo Anthony, a story of a confrontation that opens up racial angst, hypocrisy and the refusal to hear both sides. A 17-year-old student charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of another student at a track meet allegedly confessed to the killing and officers say he told them he was protecting himself, according to the arrest report.
    • Young Scooter: The tragic death of Atlanta rapper Young Scooter. The rapper died on his birthday. Kenneth Bailey sadly died from a sepsis wound from jumping over a fence. An ex-girlfriend called 9-1-1 on him and two of his friends. Authorities responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a dispute involving gunfire and a woman whom Bailey had forcibly brought back into a house. Once officers arrived, Bailey and another man fled. While trying to escape, Bailey accidentally penetrated his thigh and severed his femoral artery after jumping over two fences. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died. The cause of death was exsanguination as a result of the injury.
    • Trump attempts to deport Mahmoud Khalil and Kilmer Abrego Garcia: How a man protesting injustices and a father being an alleged gang member got caught up in Trump's nasty administration? Khalil, a student activist at Columbia University and lead negotiator in pro-Palestinian protests and campus occupations during the Gaza war, was taken from his Columbia residential apartment building in New York City by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on March 8, 2025. The agents did not have a warrant and were acting on orders from the State Department to revoke Khalil's student visa. When the agents were informed that Khalil is a lawful permanent resident, they said this status would be revoked instead. He was transported to LaSalle Detention Center in Jena, Louisiana, where he was held until June 20. The detention is the first publicly known deportation effort related to pro-Palestine activism during the presidency of Donald Trump, who threatened to punish students and others for allegedly engaging in activities aligned to Hamas. The White House posted a picture of Khalil with the taunting caption "SHALOM, MAHMOUD" on social media. Khalil's detention has received widespread backlash from civil rights organizations, members of the Democratic Party, and lawyers, who argue that it is an attack on freedom of speech and the First Amendment. There is no criminal charge against Khalil. Instead, the government's argument depends on a section of the Cold War–era Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 (INA), which provides that aliens in the U.S. may be deported if the secretary of state believes their presence will have serious negative consequences for U.S. foreign policy. Several journalists and human rights organizations have noted the connection between this law and McCarthyism. On April 1, 2025, New Jersey federal district judge Michael E. Farbiarz stated his court had jurisdiction over Khalil's habeas corpus case, and issued a stay on Khalil's deportation while the court considered a challenge to the constitutionality of his arrest and detention. On April 11, in a separate case in immigration court, Louisiana immigration judge Jamee E. Comans ruled that Khalil is deportable under Secretary of State Marco Rubio's assertion that Khalil's continued presence poses "adverse foreign policy consequences". Comans said she had no authority to question that determination. On May 28, Farbiarz ruled that the relevant section of the INA was likely unconstitutional. On June 11, Farbiarz ruled that Khalil should be released from detention, though he paused the order for two days to enable the government to appeal his ruling. The government told the court it would not release Khalil, alleging that he had not been truthful when he applied for his green card. On June 20, Farbiarz ordered that Khalil be released on bail, and Khalil was released from custody later that day. In mid-September, Comans ruled that Khalil was deportable to Syria or Algeria on the basis that he had omitted information about being a member of several organizations when he applied for his green card. Kilmer, an El Salvadoran man living in the United States, was illegally deported on March 15, 2025, by the US government under the Trump administration, which called it "an administrative error". At the time, he had never been charged with or convicted of a crime in either country; despite this, he was imprisoned without trial in the Salvadoran Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT). His case became the most prominent of the hundreds of migrants the US sent to be jailed without trial at CECOT under the countries' agreement where the US would pay the Salvadoran government to imprison US deportees there. The administration defended the deportation and accused Garcia of being a member of MS-13—a US-designated terrorist organization—based on a determination made during a 2019 immigration court bail proceeding. Abrego Garcia has denied the allegation.

    • Pope Leo XIV: How a man from Chicago became the new Pope. When Pope Francis passed away this year, he left a monumental legacy on the world. He was trying to change the status quo in the Holy See. Religions are on the decline and Leo was hoping young people would come back to church. As the head of the Catholic Church, Francis had changed the norms that the late popes John Paul II and Benedict left behind. A man who was for the people, Francis became a legendary force in the years of his papal. Leo (formerly Robert Francis Prevost) is the first Pope from the United States. He has met with President Donald J. Trump and former president Joe Biden. Leo has decided to carry the mantle of Francis. He has openly criticized Israel and its genocide, the president and his immigration policies, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the economic uncertainty and encouraging sympathy for the poor. Leo was born in Chicago and raised in the nearby suburb of Dolton, Illinois. He became a friar in the Order of Saint Augustine in 1977 and was ordained as a priest in 1982. He earned a Doctor of Canon Law (JCD) degree in 1987 from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome. His service includes extensive missionary work in Peru in the 1980s and 1990s, during which he worked as a parish pastor, diocesan official, seminary teacher, and administrator. Elected prior general of the Order of Saint Augustine, he was based in Rome from 2001 to 2013, and traveled extensively as part of this work, including to the order's many provinces and missions around the world. He then returned to Peru as Bishop of Chiclayo from 2015 to 2023. In 2023, Pope Francis appointed him prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops in Rome, and president of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America. Upon his return to Rome in 2023, Leo was made a cardinal by Pope Francis. As Cardinal Leo, he emphasized synodality, missionary dialogue, and engagement with social and technological challenges. He has also addressed issues such as climate change, global migration, church governance, and human rights, and expressed alignment with the reforms of the Second Vatican Council and the direction set for the Church by Francis. Leo's election in the 2025 conclave was unexpected by observers; he was a dark horse candidate, with Vatican insiders believing the prospect of a Pope from the United States to be unrealistic given its status as a superpower. In honor of Pope Leo XIII, who developed modern Catholic social teaching amid the tumult of the Second Industrial Revolution, Leo chose the papal name Leo XIV—both to echo Leo XIII's concern for workers and fairness, and as a response to the challenges of a new industrial revolution and artificial intelligence.
    • Rodney Hinton: The death of his son at the hands of Cincinnati Police turned made him insane. He plowed his vehicle into a Ohio deputy constable killing him. Black America believe it was divine intervention, the status quo believes it was a callous murder. Trump gave us open season. If he can allow thousands of criminals to get a pardon for attacking the U.S. Capitol, I blame him for every action taken against law enforcement. And for every cop who gets away with killing suspects, Black parents might take a moment of divine intervention. For every Sam DuBose, comes this. July will be the 10 year anniversary of his passing by that dirty cop Ray Tensing. Ryan Hinton was killed by the Cincinnati Police after they saw him and three others inside a Kia Sportage stolen from Edgewood, Kentucky. Two undercover cars had pulled into the dead end of the lot and saw there were individuals inside the stolen car, so they pulled out to make way for the uniformed officers to pull in. As officers approached, Theetge said four people fled from the vehicle, with at least one of them armed with a gun. Video of the chase and subsequent shooting were released Friday. "He's got a gun, he's got a gun. On your right," one officer could be heard saying to another officer on the body camera footage before several shots could be heard. The suspect who had a gun slipped, with officers saying they heard the gun hit the concrete. Rodney and his wife saw the full unedited video and it made the grieving father snap. An eye for an eye. It happened around 1 p.m. along Martin Luther King Drive and Burnet Woods Drive near UC's campus, where it has been busy all day with graduation commencements. Cincinnati police said a Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy was outside of his vehicle, directing traffic at the intersection when he was hit by a vehicle entering the intersection. The deputy was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he died. He was not identified Friday. Hinton is being held until trial. He has the DEATH card riding on him if found guilty. The irony, several Black deputies actually calmed him down and protected him from their white counterparts. It was alleged that several white deputies wanted to put bruises on him. Hinton is currently on suicide watch and is being watched daily by neighboring Clermont County deputies. Sen. Bernie Morano (R-OH) being a big government nanny wants to enhance a bill that protects police officers. He wants mandatory 10 years for an attack on law enforcement.
    • Minnesota woman gets $1 million in donations after racial rant: How can a woman says such vile things and get paid? Shiloh Hendrix, called a Black boy with special needs the hard one and the man who filmed the encounter was called it too. All over a minor dispute over property. The woman defended her actions by saying the child had stolen from her child's diaper bag. Over the course of the recorded confrontation, the woman repeated the slur several times at the man recording and told him he was a drain on the welfare system. Hendrix set up a fundraiser, stating that her personal information was leaked and that she had been receiving online threats and needed to relocate for her family's safety. The fundraiser generated controversy as monetizing hate speech; many of the donations were accompanied by comments expressing alt-right and racist sympathies, including references to Holocaust denial and white nationalism. National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) held a town hall on May 7, condemning the actions of the woman in the video, and launched a fundraiser for the child in the video. After the incident, the man said that the boy was autistic and was "visibly upset by the incident." In an interview with KIMT-TV, Omar said he did not believe the woman's accusations of the child stealing from the diaper bag. A spokesperson for the Rochester Police Department stated that they had received calls related to the video and were "gathering information and actively looking into the matter". On August 26, 2025, Hendrix was criminally charged with three misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct in connection with the incident.

    • Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz: They were once on friendly terms. One fucking country broke their friendship. On the Tucker Carlson podcast, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) revealed the Republicans failure to focus on American problems. He immediately came to the defense of Israel as Carlson was demanding answers to why he as a senator of Texas prioritizes a foreign government over the state he represents. The interview, released on June 18, 2025, centered on escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, including President Donald Trump's consideration of U.S. military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. Carlson, a vocal isolationist, used the platform to challenge Cruz—a staunch hawk and self-described "Christian Zionist"—on his aggressive stance toward Iran and unwavering support for Israel. Carlson pressed Cruz on his ties to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a pro-Israel lobbying group that has donated significantly to Cruz's campaigns (over $1 million since 2012). Carlson argued AIPAC should register as a foreign agent under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), framing it as undue foreign influence on U.S. policy. Cruz deflected, accusing Carlson of an "obsession with Israel" and implying antisemitism: "You’re not talking about Chinese, Japanese, Brits, or French lobbies. The question is: ‘What about the Jews? What about the Jews?’" Carlson exploded: "Oh, I’m an antisemite now?!" The exchange highlighted Carlson's "America First" skepticism of alliances versus Cruz's view of Israel as a biblical and strategic imperative. Cruz who is gearing up for a 2028 presidential run is pushing for more nanny state bills to strip colleges of funding, deport immigrant students who participated in pro Palestinian protests and is in the president's ear on Venezuela. Cruz is notorious for leaving during the winter storm for Cancun where the Texas power grid collapse. He also left the state during massive floods this year. The senator also voted against the mildest attempt at gun reform in the wake of the Uvalde school shooting massacre.
    • The tragic shootings of Minnesota lawmakers. On June 14, 2025, Minnesota state representative Melissa Hortman was assassinated in a shooting at her home in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, United States. Hortman, the leader of the state House Democratic caucus, was killed alongside her husband, Mark. Earlier that morning, state senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were shot and seriously injured in their home in nearby Champlin and hospitalized. Police responding to the attack on the Hoffmans checked on the Hortmans' home, where a man fired at them. The shooter escaped, sparking the most extensive manhunt in Minnesota history. The authorities identified 57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter as a suspect and captured him on the evening of June 15 in Green Isle, Minnesota. He was federally charged with murder, stalking, and firearms offenses. The state charged Boelter with two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder. Hennepin County attorney Mary Moriarty announced her intention to upgrade the charges to first-degree murder before a grand jury. The two victims were members of the Democratic Party-affiliated DFL. Federal charging documents described Boelter as acting with "the intent to kill, injure, harass, and intimidate Minnesota legislators". Governor Tim Walz called the shooting "an act of targeted political violence". Inside Boelter's vehicle was a list of nearly 70 people, including abortion rights advocates, Democratic politicians, and abortion providers. President Donald J. Trump did not offer much sympathy towards the victims. In fact, he literally claimed the shooter was an angry Democrats and it was the fault of the left.
    • Tha Carter VI didn't live up to expectations. Nicki Minaj (see below). Lil Wayne, once considered one of the greatest rappers of all time is.... washed. Besides promoting Amazon's Alexa+ and his failure to reclaim his status by skipping the Verzuz rap battle, DeWayne Michael Carter saw his empire collapse. As Drake and Nicki Minaj lick their wounds from the defeats at the hands of Kendrick Lamar and Megan Thee Stallion, respectively, Bryan "Baby" Williams (aka Birdman) got the last word. Birdman secretly married his longtime girlfriend Toni Braxton. He is investing in New Orleans Public Schools. He is putting aside his differences with Juvie (formerly Juvenile) and B. Sizzle (B.G.). He reunited with his longtime rhyme partner, deejay and producer Mannie Fresh to do Verzuz with former "friendly" rival No Limit Records. Birdman literally dissed Hot Boy Turk and Wheezy for missing out a historical moment in New Orleans and Las Vegas history. And the fans sided with Birdman. It brings me back to Tha Carter VI. What was supposed to be a masterpiece of hip-hop and a closing chapter of Tha Carter was a massive disappointment. Tha Carter VI didn't meet high expectations because many listeners felt the production was subpar, lacking the classic Carter feel, with some beats sounding generic or uninspired, while Wayne's lyrical themes weren't seen as relevant to current times, despite his signature rapping skill remaining strong. The album struggled with weak structure, hooks, and melodies, leading to a disjointed experience that didn't match the cultural impact or quality of earlier installments like Tha Carter III or V.  K. Dot's performance in New Orleans angered Wheezy. The rapper also threatened a diss on Lamar which leaked online. As with Minaj, Wheezy had seen his share of shortcomings. His failures to regenerate the buzz he had in the mid-2000s to 2010s shows that with age comes wisdom. Wayne failed at that.

    Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Ozzy Osbourne and Hulk Hogan passed away in July.

    • Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Hulk Hogan, Ozzy Osbourne and Chuck Mangione passing away. Tragedy to some of the 1980s pop figures. With the passing of these entertainers came the outcomes. While I do shed a tear for Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Chuck Mangione, Ozzy and Hulk Hogan, not so much. They had a racially offensive history.
    • Malcolm Jamal Warner - While vacationing in Costa Rica, the legendary actor best known for his role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show was caught in a whirlpool and he drown. His daughter and girlfriend were present at the time. It shook Black America. Disgraced entertainer Bill Cosby, Malcolm's former co-stars Phylicia Rashad, Debbie Allen, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Lisa Bonet, Raven-Symone, Eddie Griffin, Tempestt Bledsoe, Sabrina La Beauf, Karen Malina White, Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardisson, Geoffrey Owens, Erika Alexander and Daryl Bell reacted to his passing. Malcolm-Jamal was a singer, voice actor, director and activist. 
    • Hulk Hogan: After a week of promoting Real American Beer and President Donald J. Trump, the controversial wrestling legend had a minor surgery that ended up leading to a cardiovascular emergency. Born Terry Bollea, Hogan leaves behind a series of controversies damaged his public image. In 1994, he acknowledged using anabolic steroids dating back to 1976 and admitted to discouraging efforts to unionize professional wrestlers. In 2012, the internet media company Gawker published portions of a sex tape, which later had portions leak in which Hogan was heard using racial slurs and openly admitting to being racist. Hogan sued Gawker, which was found liable and subsequently declared bankruptcy. Despite this legal victory, Hogan's reputation has been described as "permanently tarnished", a view reflected in the mixed public reaction to his death in July 2025. Trump, a longtime wrestling and boxing fan known Hogan since the 1980s. They both share a theme of adultery and sexual predatory behavior. Trump is an honorary WWE wrestler. His death had mixed reactions from fans, critics and the junk food media.
    • Ozzy Osbourne: The British American rocker and reality television personality performed his farewell concert days before his death. In a wheelchair appearing frail, Ozzy gave the fans a hell of a show. Born in Birmingham, England, John Michael Osbourne was the frontman of the heavy metal rock group Black Sabbath. performed on the band's first eight studio albums, including Black Sabbath, Paranoid (both 1970) and Master of Reality (1971), before he was fired in 1979 due to his problems with alcohol and other drugs. Ozzy went on to become a solo artist and succeeded in starting up new bands and Ozzfest. Osbourne's wife and manager Sharon founded the heavy metal touring festival Ozzfest, which was held yearly from 1996 to 2010. In the early 2000s, he became a reality television star when he appeared in the MTV reality show The Osbournes (2002–2005) alongside Sharon and two of their children, Kelly and Jack. He co-starred with some of his family in the television series Ozzy & Jack's World Detour (2016–2018) as well as The Osbournes Want to Believe (2020–2021). He leaves behind six children and second wife Sharon. Sharon Osbourne is a media personality who was then a cohost and former executive producer for CBS The Talk. Osbourne was forced out after she and Sheryl Underwood got into a huge fight over the racism Duchess Meghan faced as she and Prince Harry resigned from royal duties. Ozzy drew ire when he ate a live bat during a performance. Many on the far right thought he was anti-Christian, a Satanist, a sadistic person or whatever they conjure. He had passed away from pneumonia which lead to cardiovascular disease and Parkinson’s disease.
    • Chuck Mangione: A legendary figure in jazz and a favorite of The King of the Hill. Born Charles F. Mangione, he was an American flugelhorn player, trumpeter and composer. He came to prominence as a member of Art Blakey's band in the 1960s, and later co-led the Jazz Brothers with his brother, Gap, achieving international success in 1978 with his jazz-pop single "Feels So Good". He released more than 30 albums, beginning in the 1960s. He also appeared in various television shows, including a recurring role on King of the Hill. Mangione was born to Italian-American parents on November 29, 1940, in Rochester, New York, where he grew up. His parents were jazz enthusiasts who owned a grocery store, Mangione Grocery. While at elementary school Mangione began music lessons, beginning with piano, but later switching to trumpet after watching the film Young Man with a Horn. With his pianist brother, Gap, he started a band in high school and played in sessions with Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis.   In addition to music, Mangione made appearances in television shows including Magnum, P.I. and Sharon, Lois & Bram's Elephant Show on CBC. He had a recurring role on the animated television series King of the Hill as a fictional version of himself being a celebrity spokesman for the "Mega Lo Mart", having been approached with a script a couple of months prior to the show premiering on television in 1997; noting the playing of his music to a considerable audience, Mangione agreed and even enjoyed the "great exposure" in interviews. His 2000 album Everything For Love contains a track titled "Peggy Hill" as an homage to the series.
    • Cory Booker can't shake the heat. The I Have Had It podcast is becoming one of the fastest growing shows. Jennifer Welch and Angie "Pumps" Sullivan have surpassed Joe Rogan in podcast listening. They offer a no holds bars take on politics. They are an aggressive breed of progressive agitators sick and tired of the status quo. They are calling out Israel for its genocide. Sen. John Fetterman (I-PA) playing footsie with fascists. Minority leaders Hakeem Jeffries (House, D-NY) and Chuck Schumer (Senate, D-NY) for being ineffective Zionist bootlickers. Pushing for aggressive politics in a Trump dominated podcast field. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) recently weds a new fling Alexis Lewis-Booker after the breakup with actress Rosario Dawson. Booker is thinking about another run for president. But the thing that dogs him his the endless support of Israel. He was hiding in a photo release of bipartisan senators with war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu. Welch and Sullivan put him on blast for accepting AIPAC donations, not sticking to principles and offering nothing but rhetoric. Booker has also avoided supporting next door neighbor Zohran Mamdani in his bid for mayor. Booker, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Andy Beshear, JB Pritzker and Josh Shapiro are considering a run.
    • Stephen Colbert: CBS under Sheri Redstone and now David Ellison ends up canceling The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Many pointed to his criticism of Redstone who ended up paying millions to President Donald J. Trump over an interview on 60 Minutes with former vice president Kamala Harris. Colbert, a longtime critic of Trump was shellshocked by the news of the shows cancelation. Jimmy Kimmel (explained later), John Oliver, Jimmy Fallion and Jon Stewart immediately came to the support of Colbert. Politics played a significant role, or at least created strong perceptions of influence, in the decision to cancel Stephen Colbert's Late Show, with many citing his harsh Trump criticism and a recent $16M CBS settlement with Trump as key factors, despite CBS claiming it was purely financial due to losses. Theories suggest Paramount sought to appease the Trump administration for their pending Skydance merger and FCC approval by silencing a major critic, especially after Colbert mocked the settlement as a "bribe". 
    • The Coldplay Kiss Camera cost two top executives their jobs: On 16 July 2025, a couple at Foxborough's Gillette Stadium were displayed on the screens with their arms wrapped around each other during the Jumbotron Song, a segment where Martin improvised lyrics about those who appeared on the broadcast feed. Instead of reacting positively, the pair tried to hide from the cameras. Videos exhibiting the moment went viral on social media. The duo were subsequently recognised as Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot from Astronomer, an artificial intelligence startup worth $1 billion. Both held chief officer positions and had spouses absent from the show, prompting accusations of an extramarital relationship. They were placed on leave and Astronomer started a formal investigation. The incident became subject of memes, television sketches and debates about privacy. Some outlets referred to it as "Coldplaygate". Jonathan Mann crafted a mobile game based on what happened. Pornhub reported a growth in office and cheating-themed works on its website. Numerous fake news items gained traction, such as the woman next to the pair being an office colleague. Astronomer revealed that Byron and Cabot stepped down from their roles in the following week. Months later, The Times interviewed Cabot and she clarified that both had split from each other's partners beforehand. She also hired a public relations specialist.

    August

    • Minneapolis mass shooting: A mass shooting at the Annunciation Catholic School and earlier mass shooting before that. On the morning of August 27, 2025, a mass shooting occurred at the Church of the Annunciation in the Windom neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. The attack took place during a scheduled school-wide Mass attended by the students and faculty of Annunciation Catholic School. Two children, Fletcher Merkel and Harper Moyski, and the perpetrator died in the shooting. Thirty other people were injured: twenty-six schoolchildren and three elderly people from gunfire as well as a victim who sustained non-gunshot wounds. The perpetrator was identified as Robin M. Westman. Westman posted two YouTube videos, showing writings which referenced suicide, "extremely violent thoughts and ideas", a message addressed "to my family and friends", and a drawing of the layout of a church. The video showed messages written on the guns and magazines. These messages included antisemitic, anti-Catholic, and racist phrases, "kill Donald Trump", "6 million wasn't enough", and the names of several mass shooters. The channel was taken down shortly after the uploads. Harper Moyski, 10 years old, and Fletcher Merkel, 8 years old, died in the shooting. Charlie Kirk (see later) would drive this bullshit narrative about the rise in gun violence being inspired by transgender Americans. Ironic, he fails to mention most mass shooters are white.
    • Israeli cyber intelligence officer caught in child sex sting: This is our greatest ally, right? An Israeli intelligence agent Tom Artiom Alexandrovich faces felony charges of luring a child with a computer for a sex act, alongside several other suspects who were apprehended during the two-week sting operation, the Las Vegas metropolitan police department said in a statement published on Friday. He has since been released from custody on $10,000 bail after an initial court appearance, records show, and returned to Israel.  He allegedly chatted online with an FBI decoy posing as a 15-year-old girl about meeting for “sexual contact”. He subsequently allowed to return to Israel despite his lack of diplomatic immunity. On his return to Israel, he was placed on leave from the directorate. He had been attending the Black Hat computer security conference and had met with NSA and FBI agents while also seeking to arrange further meetings with additional NSA agents. The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office falsely denied that he had been arrested, saying "A state employee who traveled to the U.S. for professional matters was questioned by American authorities during his stay ... The employee, who does not hold a diplomatic visa, was not arrested and returned to Israel as scheduled.” Alexandrovich's release was criticized by House Republicans Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie. On August 18, 2025, the United States Department of State issued a statement affirming it had no role in his release to Israel. Nevada's Acting U.S. Attorney, Sigal Chattah, an Israeli American stated that the prosecution was being handled by the Clark County District Attorney's office, not federal authorities, and criticized Nevada state authorities for not requiring Alexandrovich to surrender his passport, which allowed him to flee the country. Chattah further noted that Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel expressed concern over the incident and called for Alexandrovich's immediate return to face justice. On August 19, 2025, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson described the arrest and bail as "standard".
    • Jeanine Pirro: A drunken cougar now heads the DC U.S. Attorney office. The Fox left the hen house. The controversial media personality Jeanine Pirro is now the U.S. District Attorney for Washington, DC. She is the first Lebanese American woman and likely one of the oldest U.S. Attorneys in standing. She is 74 years old. But you wouldn't notice it by the monstrous plastic surgery and breast enlargement. You will expect a lot of drunken behavior and sexual harassment with Pirro in the U.S. Attorney's Office. Pirro was on Fox for 15 years. She cost the network $787 million in a lawsuit. Pirro a conspiracy theorist pushed the 2020 election lies and accused Dominion Systems and Smartmatic of changing votes from Donald J. Trump to Joe Biden. The companies sued Fox, Newsmax and a handful of media agitators for this.

    • Charlie Kirk: The white nationalist who became the most annoying dead guy. In Utah, the head of Turning Point USA was doing his "Prove Me Wrong" sessions at a local college. He was debating a person over mass shootings. Midway into his rant about transgender Americans and gang violence, a bullet struck the white nationalist in the neck. He immediately went limb and fell. It shocked the world. A figure known for pushing young voters to President Donald J. Trump was assassinated. Charlie Kirk, 31 was the short term push for the far right and Trump. His death sparked discussions over free speech, gun violence, censorship, the blame game and politicial violence. Kirk was unapologetic about his support for firearms. He said that deaths by gun violence were a sacrifice to protect the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The shooter, Tyler Robinson was apprehended after he confessed to his father. He was raised in a household of Trump supporters. Somehow, Kirk became a target of Robinson over a perceived grievance. The FBI and Utah authorities botched the first 24 hours. In a mass confussion, some believed a man who they detained was the shooter. The release of a man who jumped off the roof and ran into the woods was questioned. Some on the left cheered his demise, which sparked a backlash. Private figures on social media had joked or made little sympathy for him got fired from the jobs. Trump and Vice President JD Vance advocated firing federal workers for sharing opinions that attacked Kirk. Some on the right, especially Candace Owens believe there a vast conspiracy going on. Kirk was turning on Israel as explained in a series of text messages to Owens. Owens had claimed the shooter could be a patsy and the federal government is concealing evidence. The shooter will face trial in May 2026. Owens has also believe that Israelis and Jewish billionaires are now taking control of the organization and social media. Vance, in an unprecedented move appeared as a host on the Charlie Kirk Show. Had It been a Democrat doing it, the far right would go bonkers over it. Trump had also showed little sympathy for Kirk which had comedian Jimmy Kimmel joke about Trump (see below). Kirk leaves behind two children and a wife. Erika Kirk quickly took the mantle of CEO of Turning Point USA. She became the face of a legacy marred in controversy. Her rise also drew controversy. Many believe she is soaking too much of empathy. They think she should place the energy on lowering the temperature. Kirk posting images of her husband's casket, the hugging of Vance, the limited tears coming out her eyes and past Kirk actions made her questionable. Kirk met Erika while in Israel. She had unwitting ties to a group that was associated with human trafficking. She is a former beauty queen. Some strongly suggest Kirk should be a mother to her children and not the face of fascism.
    • Jimmy Kimmel: ABC signed Kimmel until 2027. It was a shallow victory for a controversy sparked by a mild jab at President Donald J. Trump at the helm of Charlie Kirk's fatal demise. Kimmel was pulled from his show after the far right mounted a cancel campaign on critics of Kirk. Kimmel was off the air for nearly two weeks when he took aim at the not so subtle sympathy Trump had for the guy who helped him from politicial demise. Kimmel, a critic of Trump, Sean "Softball" Hannity and Republicans has been concerned their policies are inching towards fascism. Kimmel commented on reactions to the assassination of Charlie Kirk that "[w]e hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it." At the time, the FBI had not mentioned the shooter Tyler Robinson's "background, political leanings or a possible motive, saying the investigation was ongoing", though his mother had told prosecutors that he had shifted toward the political left and had become "more pro-gay and trans-rights oriented". Kimmel also compared Trump's reaction to Kirk's death to "a four-year-old mourning a goldfish". The network's suspension of Kimmel created widespread backlash from political leaders and commentators, entertainers, entertainment industry unions, constitutional scholars, and the public at large, with boycotts against Disney, ABC, and broadcast station owners Nexstar Media Group and Sinclair Broadcast Group (whose respective decisions to pull Jimmy Kimmel Live! from their ABC-affiliated stations over his monologue remarks prompted the network's own decision to suspend the program), and sparked debate about the erosion of freedom of speech in the United States amid calls by prominent conservatives to impose retaliatory and disciplinary actions against people celebrating, justifying, or trivializing Kirk's death or encourage further political violence, though Kimmel's remarks were related to the president's reaction and condemned violence of any kind. Trump would critize Rob Reiner after he was murdered by his son Nick (see Rob Reiner). The hypocrisy from the far right exposes the reactions of political speech and death. While Trump openly promotes and endorses violence against people, Kimmel who tells jokes is vilified. Erika Kirk does not forgive him for telling jokes but the fucking shooter is forgiven. Make it make sense.
    • Ohio caretaker caught sexually assaulting a disabled woman. A man looking for his dog caught a caretaker sexually assaulting a woman with no verbal in an alley in Dayton, Ohio. In a week of chaos surrounding Charlie Kirk's death, far right agitators were pouncing on every Black crime in the United States. This story debunks their cause de jour. The suspect was a white man who worked for a mobile vehicle service transporting special needs patients to their appointments. Travis Underwood livestreamed Anthony Alcorn caught with his pants down and engaging in a sexual act with the victim while another victim was present. Alcorn at first denied he assaulted the victim and tried to flee, but Underwood took his keys. Alcorn was then shoved to the ground and punched in the face. Underwood would eventually call the police. Alcorn is arrested and is currently in custody. In October, Underwood was arrested for drug possession.

    The Trump Administration launches its 2028 campaign. A government shutdown happened when Trump and Republicans refused to incorporate protections to the Affordable Care Act.

    • Government shutdown: This would be the third government shutdown under Donald J. Trump. The Republican controlled Congress couldn't compromise on a yearly spending bill. The Democrats flatly opposed it and did not have any interest in voting for it. Trump refusing to negotiate with Democrats and several Republicans on domestic spending led to the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. The Republicans did an intentional delay of Arizona U.S. House member Adelita Grijalva being sworn in. Millions of federal workers and military officials missed pay. It caused a spike in food assistance and charity. It cost $14 trillion in lost revenue. The Democrats had a mixed message on how reopen the government. Republicans flat out wanted permanent spending cuts to domestic programs. From October 1, 2025 to November 12, 2025, the federal government of the United States was in a shutdown as Congress failed to pass appropriations legislation for the 2026 fiscal year. The Republican-controlled House of Representatives advanced a continuing resolution, but Senate Democrats repeatedly blocked it. The legislation failed 14 times before a revised appropriations bill was passed on November 10. The House of Representatives passed the Senate's revised bill on November 12th, which President Donald J. Trump promptly signed that day. The shutdown was the 11th government shutdown that resulted in federal employees being furloughed and the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, lasting 43 days.
    • D'Angelo: Months ago, Angie Stone tragically died in a fatal car accident in Montgomery, Alabama. All the while, we did not know that her first child's father D'Angelo was in his final days as he had terminal pancreatic cancer. If you're a 1990s fan of Neo Soul and smooth R&B or a young girl or boy who fantasizes a built Black singer who shooked the world performing a hit single in the nude, you heard of D'Angelo. Matter of fact, I like most Black men were jealous of him. He had girls swarming him like bees to honey. Even one rapper wanted to imitate the iconic video.       Stone died in March in Montgomery, Alabama after her tour bus veered into the median flipping it onto Interstate 65, killing her. She was 63. Stone once described D’Angelo as her “musical soul mate,” to the AP in 1999, adding that their working relationship was “’like milk and cereal …. Musically, it was magic. It’s something that I have not been able to do with any other producer or musician.” They had a son together, the artist Swayvo Twain, born Michael Archer Jr. D’Angelo also has a daughter, Imani Archer, who is also a music artist. In the years that followed, D’Angelo’s life became as defined by absence as by acclaim. After “Voodoo,” he withdrew from the spotlight for more than a decade, fueling speculation about personal struggles and creative battles. His long-awaited return came in 2014 with “Black Messiah,” credited to D’Angelo and The Vanguard. The urgent and politically charged album that arrived amid nationwide protests and helped usher in a wave of activist music responding to police killings of Black Americans and the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement.     • Ohio man kills wife and another woman in a murder suicide: Jacob (Jake) Prichard and his wife Jaymee had the American Dream. From their social media, it appears they were high school/college sweethearts. They had a nice life. They worked a job at Dayton, Ohio's largest employer Wright Patterson Air Force Base. They even owned a sideline business called Picture Perfect Photobooth Rentals. 
      They both were working at the base and were raise their children. The government shutdown affected their pocketbook. They took luxury trips, lived in a upscale neighborhood and got along well with the people. Well that changed! West Milton Police Chief Doyle Wright has confirmed details of this tragic double murder-suicide. At the city offices, the discovery of a man with a gunshot wound at himself and inside the trunk, the body of a woman. About 20 miles south was the body of another woman. The suspect broke into the home of Jaime Gustitus, 25 and shot her dead. It is not known where the shooter shot Jaymee but that is now in the hands of Huber Heights Police and the Ohio Bureau of Investigation. The couple resided in the Carriage Trails neighborhood in Huber Heights, which is now a crime scene as part of the ongoing investigation. The shooter had killed himself after he apparently kissed his dead wife inside trunk. This happened during the government shutdown and this drove attention to the frustration of being unemployed and the uncertainty of a family affected. Also it shined a light on adultery and domestic violence.
    • Sonya Massey killer sentenced: A former Illinois deputy gets sentenced. He awaits a federal trial where his sentence could be longer. A slim chance of him being pardoned by President Donald J. Trump in a federal conviction. A state conviction would require a governor pardon. Hopefully Democrats continue to hold Illinois in state governorship. Anyway, Sonya Massey was shot at close range holding a pot as she was turning off the stove. A rogue cop believing she was going to throw hot water on him quickly shot her without even an ounce of thought. The situation escalated quickly when Massey removed a pot of boiling water from her stove after the deputies asked her to check on it. Massey lifted the pot and said twice, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus." The rogue cop screamed that he would "fucking shoot [her] right in [her] fucking face," drew his service pistol, and yelled, "Drop the fucking pot." Massey apologized, ducked behind a counter, raised her hands, and briefly rose. The rogue cop then shot at her three times, fatally wounding Massey with one shot in the head. Sean Grayson, the former Sangamon County Sheriff's Deputy tried to claim self defense and justified due to her ramblings. The prosecutors saw through that quickly. The judge and jury will decide his fate which is likely 15 years to LIFE sentence. Seeing he can enjoy the life, he shows no remorse for shooting Sonya Massey. Lynching that poor woman. To make this even worse, she called for help and ended up being killed.

    • Trump's feud with Marjorie Taylor Greene and her resignation: The Notorious MTG, a five year (actually six year) experiment that failed. Greene has promoted Islamophobic, antisemitic, and white supremacist views including the white genocide conspiracy theory, as well as QAnon, and Pizzagate. She has amplified conspiracy theories that allege government involvement in mass shootings in the United States, implicate the Clinton family in murder, and suggest the attacks of 9/11 were a hoax. Before running for Congress, Greene supported calls to execute prominent Democratic Party politicians, including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. As a congresswoman, she equated the Democratic Party with Nazis, and compared COVID-19 safety measures to the persecution of Jews during the Holocaust, later apologizing for this comparison. During the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Greene promoted Russian propaganda and praised its president Vladimir Putin. Greene identifies as a Christian nationalist. From 2021 until 2026, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) leave behind a legacy of chaos. A surprise primary winner, Greene won on the platform of MAGA and her love for President Donald J. Trump. Greene was a prominent voice in the "Stop the Steal" movement, frequently promoting false claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election.  She rose to infamy when Rayshard Brooks was shot by a bad cop. Garrett Rolfe shot Brooks when he woke up. Brooks grabbed a Taser from an officer and ran, firing it at Rolfe as he fled, at which point Rolfe shot him in the back. The shooting sparked protests, led to the firing of the police chief, and resulted in charges against Rolfe, which were later dropped after a special prosecutor found the use of force justified. Greene took the side of the cop and took pictures with Rolfe's family. Before and during her early tenure, Greene promoted numerous debunked theories, including QAnon, the "Great Replacement," and the "Jewish Space Laser" myth (the claim that Jewish-controlled space lasers caused California wildfires). She tried to impeach Joe Biden over 10 times. She tried to have Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib stripped of their committees because they accused Israel of war crimes. In her first month as a lawmaker she was stripped of her committees. This was a rare rebuke following the discovery of her past social media posts that expressed support for political violence against Democratic leaders and spread misinformation about school shootings. She was considered lazy. Barely spent time in her district during her first and second term. In her third term, something different. Greene has publicly criticized Trump during his second presidency for his foreign policy positions, questioning whether he was "still America First", and criticized his initial opposition to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which he later signed into law. Trump has attacked her on Truth Social and revoked his endorsement of her. As a result of her dispute with Trump, she announced her resignation from Congress effective January 5, 2026, stating that she did not want her district to endure a "hurtful and hateful primary".
    • Zohran Mamdani wins New York City mayoral race: A man with a funny name becomes one of the youngest, first South Asian, first African born, first Muslim and first democratic socialist to be mayor of the United States largest city. Zohran Kwame Mamdani won on the message of affordability. His opponents ran on the message of who supports Israel the most. The politicial dynasty is tarnished. Andrew Cuomo, the former three term governor of New York who resigned under a cloud of sexual abuse allegations wanted to be coronated the mayor of New York City. He ran in the Democratic Party as the frontrunner. Mamdani ran as an underdog polling under 2%. But thanks to TikTok, a frustrated base tired of the status quo and Cuomo's past baggage, Mamdani grew in popularity. He ended up winning the Democratic primary. As the nominee, Mamandi faced a growing list of ops. The ops included Eric Adams, the former Democrat who became an independent, Cuomo who would reenter the race as an independent and Curtis Sliwa, a controversial Republican vigilante known for hoarding animals and red berats. Mamandi managed to beat the noise through a significant campaign to fight AIPAC and the ADL. Trump had entered the race by endorsing Cuomo at the latest minute calling Mamandi a "communist terrorist." Unfazed by the noise, Mamandi managed to pull over 1 million votes. Upon his victory, he appeared at the White House for a somewhat cordial meeting with the president. He even managed to get the president to admit he needs to focus on affordability. The ADL has been on a petty streak with "exposing" antisemitism. They accused the mayor-elect of hiring transition officials to his administration that make Jews unsafe. Mamandi dismissed it as noise and told the junk food media that his goal is to focus on making New York City affordable. He said he isn't trying to police criticism of Israel. He said that making Jewish New Yorkers safe as well as the rest will always be a priority.
    • Nicki Minaj goes MAGA: Onika Petty, a Trinidadian American rapper, singer, producer and model became the latest thing to happen in 2025. Her late MAGA play has now become a full fledge endorsement. She spoke at the Turning Point USA conference in December holding hands with Erika Kirk. It a confirmation of her support for President Donald J. Trump and his aggressive second term nonsense. Ironic, Charlie Kirk had denounced Minaj in his previous rants. The move pissed off the LGBTQ community which made up 45% of her fanbase. Minaj on Sunday made a surprise appearance at a gathering of conservatives in Arizona that was memorializing late activist Charlie Kirk, and used her time on stage to praise President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, calling them “role models” for young men.

      The rap star was interviewed at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest convention by Erika Kirk about her newly found support for Trump — someone she had condemned in the past — and about her actions denouncing violence against Christians in Nigeria. The U.S. has conducted illegal strikes on civilians of Venezuela which also strikes Trinidians who are in the area as well. She is literally defending a pedophile while being married to a sexual predator. Most fans are tired of watching rappers exploit luxury, crime, degenerative behavior, disrespect towards women, disrespect towards LGBTQ and endorsements of politicial establishment figures. Now they are celebrated a rapper being red pilled. While Latto, Ice Spice, Megan Thee Stallion, Coi Leray, SZA, GloRilla and Cardi B are making music, showing peace with one another and collaborating with each other, Barbz is still wedging war.

      Nicki Minaj is officially MAGAland. She is promoting conspiracy theories about Nigeria, praising President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, denouncing transgender Americans, picking fights with California governor Gavin Newsom, reigniting her ongoing feud with Cardi B and not giving a fuck about the backlash.
      Minaj claims that Christians in a African Union country are being targeted. That is patently false. Nigeria with a population of 235 million people has a large swath of religions.

      Trump has labeled Nigeria a state of concern. He would late launch an attack on Northwest Nigeria on the claim of destroying Islamic State targets.
    • Nancy Pelosi out: After becoming the first woman to serve as the Speaker of The House under four U.S. presidents, Nancy Pelosi, the former House Speaker retires. Her retirement comes amid a influx of retirements and resignations. She was a part of the status quo in leadership. Having been in Congress since 1987, the damn year 40 journey from a mere member of California's U.S. House members to becoming the first woman to hold the gavel will be her legacy. She was a controversial figure though. Her insider trading allegations, the not so subtle racism towards Asian Americans when she called protesters from CodePink a bunch of Chinese communists, forcing Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Steve King to apologize for words instead of actions. She has a staunch support of Israel which also plagues her legacy. In the Congress, as House Speaker, Pelosi was vilified by Republicans and Fox. They often slurred the San Francisco liberal as an attempt to dismiss her centrists stances. Also a gay slur because of the city being LGBTQ friendly. She worked with Presidents Donald J. Trump, Joe Biden, Barack Obama and George W. Bush to pass some of their budget bills and bailed them out during some of their endless controversies. Pelosi also was survivor of numerous assassination attempts. The Jan. 6 insurrection was by far the tipping point between Pelosi and Trump. The mob broke into Pelosi's office and literally tore it up. The defeated on her properties, stole staffer computers, took pictures stealing her podium, graffiti on her office walls and so many nasty things. Pelosi introduced the Articles of Impeachment against Trump in 2019 and 2021. The first time was the phone call where he demanded a quid pro quo from Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskyy to help him win. He feared Joe Biden as the winner. When Joe Biden won, Trump called it a stolen election and blamed Pelosi for it. The certification of the electoral college was disrupted when Trump instigated an insurrection. In his final days Pelosi introduced the second impeachment. Pelosi also famously tore up the State of the Union speech when Trump honored the dying Rush Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She had Laura Loomer, DeAnne Lorraine, Griff Jenkins, Jesse Watters, Kaitlin Bennett, Alex Jones, Marjorie Taylor Greene and numerous far right troll confront her on some baseless conspiracy. It drove a Canadian American transiant to break into her San Francisco home and attack her husband Paul. On top of that, it appears they are doubling down on the noise by pivoting and tossing around conspiracy theories to why a random stranger would attack the spouse of then second in line of presidential succession.

      It was business as usual in the scapegoating department. Trump, his sons, Republicans, far right agitators and Fox made fun of it. 

      The far right called it a false flag and claim its an ulterior motive to scare Democrats to vote. They are also using homophobic troupes to make baseless claims that Paul Pelosi is secretly gay. X, the social media platform for news and politics has returned to the unchecked noise. They are literally tweeting NIGGER and racial extremist rhetoric on the platform knowing that Elon Musk's reckless decision to purchase the social media platform will result in free speech absolutism. attacked an extremist and the noise already claimed it was a Democrat. They continue to blame the Speaker for not having security protection for her spouse. The man hit Paul Pelosi over the head with a hammer. He has gotten serious blows to the head, right side of his arm. The Speaker's office has said that he will survive the injuries before the attack then RNC chairwoman, Ronna Romney McDaniel said "it's time to fire Nancy Pelosi." Greene who called for a tone down in toxic politics never apologized for making fun of the Paul Pelosi attack.

    • Trump calls Somali Americans garbage. In a presser, the president took aim at Minnesota governor Tim Walz, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Minnesota state senator Fetah. He called Somalis garbage. Which in return lead to the anti-Somalism. It won praise from the far right agitators and scorn from the community. Some of the Somali Americans who voted for Trump due to former president Joe Biden's hawkish stance on Israel felt betrayed. “We’re going to go the wrong way if we keep taking in garbage into our country. Ilhan Omar is garbage. Her friends are garbage,” Trump told the meeting. “ When they come from hell and they complain and do nothing but bitch, we don’t want them in our country.” The remarks have drawn widespread condemnation from community leaders, Democratic lawmakers and civil rights organizations. Yet despite the fear, a defiant response has emerged on social media platforms, particularly TikTok and X.

      Some users have created AI-generated images that insert Somalis into iconic images from U.S. history, as a humorous way of illustrating their deep roots in the country. Others have parodied Zionist claims to Palestine by joking that Minnesota was promised to them 3,000 years ago, a pointed reference to the logic used to justify Palestinian dispossession. With Sen. Tina Smith (D-MN) retiring, it puts a Democratic civil war fight. Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN) and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan will face off for the seat. Craig a lesbian who backs Israel strongly and Flanagan, a White Earth Band of Ojibwe member, who endorsed Israel when Oct. 7th happened but cooled after the 2024 Harris loss. She felt criticism and now opposes AIPAC funding. Republicans are scrambling to find a candidate who can not piss off Somali Americans. Former vice president Kamala Harris barely won the state because of her support of Israel. The seat is going to be competitive. Somali Americans will choose a candidate who will serve their interests.
    • Sherrone Moore's Michigan Boot: The fall of a Black Power conference football coach. A promising career tossed and a family ruined. All because of his lust for a snow bunny. Sherrone Moore who made over $6 million as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines for two years. Moore served as Michigan's acting head coach in four games during the national championship-winning 2023 season. He succeeded Jim Harbaugh as head coach in 2024 until his termination after the regular season in 2025. Kelli Moore cried and threatened to leave Sherrone. She said that he ruined his career, his family and his freedom... for what? A woman who used him. Not entirely blaming her but he brought it all on himself. He was supposed to be above the fray and practice in good faith. He threw it all away. is being charged with felonious assault, sexual battery and kidnapping. Domestic violence is also likely on the docket. Once he was fired out the cannon, he would end up barging into the staffers apartment and threaten to off himself. He accused her of ruining his life and said blood is on her hands if he dies. Now in custody, Moore faces up to 10 years for his antics. It put a stain on Michigan football and totally ended a career of one of the few Black coaches in top conference college football. Former Utah coach Kyle Whittingham is likely to become the new head coach.
    • Rob Reiner killed by son in domestic dispute: The tragic death of actor/director Rob Reiner at the hands of his son. Nick Reiner who is a former actor stabbed Reiner and wife Michele after a dispute. The death shocked the nation. It was big. Just as big as Charlie Kirk. You cannot tell President Donald J. Trump that. He went for the neck (no pun intended). Trump claimed Reiner died because of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It generated outrage from Hollywood, Democrats and Republicans. Even some die hard Republicans thought the president was out of line. Especially in the wake of Kirk's death and the amount of frustration the right had when the left was mocking his death. Reiner was best known for his role on All in the Family as the liberal Michael Stivic (aka Meathead). He also had directed major movies like This is Spinal Tap, When Harry Met Sally, Misery and The Princess Bride. He also appeared as a featured actor in shows like New Girl, The Good Fight and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

      Erika Kirk assumed the role of CEO of Turning Point USA. Bari Weiss assumed the role of editor and chief to CBS News as well as continued control of The Free Press. Two white women who became thorns in the skin of the public. While we all were shocked by the death of Charlie Kirk, Erika should have been more vocal about gun violence. Alas, she choose to stick to her guns (sort of speak). Weiss, a bisexual former leftist turned conservative is a staunch Zionist who posted on social media about how she felt about the Israeli genocide. Her rhetoric led to Israel killing a prominent Palestian speaker, Refaat Alareer. When Sheri Redstone sold Paramount to Larry and David Ellison it led to a massive shift in news and programming. Weiss had cut staffers, eliminated its diversity training, spiked news reports, hosted Kirk for an uninspiring town hall and pushed for more Republicans to appear on CBS. Kirk herself called Charlie a grift but later corrected herself. Kirk had gotten a Presidential Medal of Freedom in honor of Charlie. Kirk has gained more followers who are now inspired to be agitators of punch down politics. Kirk even got Nicki Minaj to convert. Weiss enjoys this new position. She appointed Tony Dokoupil as the new host of The CBS Evening News. Kirk appointed more pro Israeli influencers into Turning Point. Candace Owens, a former ally turned rival has called Kirk's role a crocodile tears takeover. She thinks some nefarious forces are turning Turning Point USA into a creation that Charlie rejected. Weiss had tried to push for former Fox and CNN hosts to join CBS as she is trying to get rid of Gayle King, Nate Burleson and Scott Palley. America is getting tired of them already.

    The real issue is gun violence. Not comedians. Not activists. Not Black men. Not immigrants. Not Muslims. Not transgender Americans. Not video games. Not movies. Not rap music. Not the left.

    A man made crisis that can be solved if these incompetent politicians and media agitators stop making excuses for the continued gun violence epidemic. Prayers are just words and speeches. Instead offering words, how about policies?

    The United States is downsizing in democracy and freedom.

    I just want to say that the Second Amendment is White, period.

    A bullet does not care about color. We all bleed red and so many lives are lost to gun violence. Republicans offer no solutions other than "thoughts and prayers" with a touch of "lock em up."

    Gun violence continues to be the number one threat in the United States.

    I dismiss this ridiculous notion that criminals are the problem, not the guns. Firearms are often obtained through legal purchases. 

    Again, having more security, teachers being armed and offering safe rooms are not solving the problem. The problem is lawmakers not willing to stop gun violence.

    Next year going to be interesting.

    Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence. Let them know that we are tired of police officers using immunity when committing death of suspects in custody. You want no more qualified immunity for police officers who use deadly force when it's not justified. Let them know that deporting law abiding immigrants seeking refuge is inhumane. You want the U.S. to improve the immigration process. You want the U.S. lawmakers stop dehumanizing human beings. You want the U.S. to prove to the world its a beacon of freedom. You want our American military out of our cities, the Middle East and every fucking international conflict in the world. You want legislation to focus on lowering the cost of rent, lowering the cost of food, lowering the cost of hospital visits, improving healthcare and building relationships with other nations. Let them know that you will not tolerate a government shutdown which affects federal services for Americans in need or in support of services. Let them know that pulling out of the UN Human Rights Organization, World Health Organization and Paris Climate Accords will put the U.S. in danger when catastrophic event happen. Let them know that you are tired of private equity firms getting away with destroying small businesses and long established companies. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel and Ukraine. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-semitic or in support of terrorism because you support the freedom of Palestinians. You are tired of the propaganda being forced on your media platforms.

    We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire, a weapons embargo, sanctions and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more domestic or foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists and special interest groups.

    There will be more major natural disasters.
