The FBI said a white extremist tried to attack its Cincinnati field office. |
Sometimes, it's better letting the facts come out before making a rash decision on whether to politicize an event. The Department of Justice confirms that the FBI search on Mar-A-Lago was more than presidential papers. The former president held onto classified documents involving nuclear weapons.
Also a Washed Up 45 supporter had attacked a FBI Field Office in Cincinnati. That riled up FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland.
The attack has also attracted the attention of the FBI, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Karen DeWine, Ohio State Patrol, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Sen. Karen Portman (R-OH) and the U.S. Representatives from Ohio.
A white man armed with a nail gun and an AR-15 style rifle attacked the field office in Sycamore Township near Cincinnati. The terrorist admitted on social media (Truth Social) his manifesto.
He was preparing for war against the FBI. After the former president launched an attack on the FBI, the federal law enforcement agency had to warn workers that they have to watch their backs. They warn that far right extremism has spiked.
The terrorist was a participant at the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
The law had gave chase to the terrorist after he failed to breach the FBI office. The terrorist was wearing body armor and two firearms. They tried to approach him but he escaped. So he got on Interstate 71 and stopped at a local rest stop in Clinton County.
Then after the suspect was spotted by Ohio State Patrol, they gave chase when he decided to shoot at them. They did not return fire at the time of the chase. But he would get off at a local exit near Interstate 71. The terrorist would cause a standoff that lasted for five hours. Near 4pm. the terrorist was shot and killed after he tried to fire upon the OSP and FBI agents.
The terrorist is dead and the FBI has ordered an investigation into the matter.
Garland and Wray are informed of the terrorist attack. Garland thanked the FBI and OSP.
However, he condemned those who threatened agents, federal judges and lawmakers. He did not mention the former president. He did authorize the search of the Florida property.
He is asking a federal court to release the details of the search warrant. The former president has til Friday at 3pm to keep the documents concealed. If he decides to keep talking they will unseal the documents and release the details of the warrant which could be embarrassing to him.
Garland ain't playing.
"Let me address recent unfound attacks on the professionalism of the FBI and Justice Department agents and prosecutors. I will not stand by silently when their integrity is unfairly attacked."
Garland is angry over the rhetoric attacking DOJ and the FBI. |
Garland added, "Men and women of the FBI and the Justice Department are dedicated, patriotic public servants. Every day, they protect the American people from violent crime, terrorism, and other threats to their safety while safeguarding our civil rights. They do so at the great personal sacrifice and risk to themselves."
Garland did not take kind to the Republicans and Washed Up 45 claiming that the FBI is rogue and they "raided" the former president's property.
He personally approved the search of the property because he was given credible information and he made the decision that was not taken lightly.
The U.S. Justice Department also confirms that FBI agents seized the cell phone of Rep. Karen Perry (R-PA). The controversial lawmaker who is the leader of the Freedumb Caucus was the guy who believed the lie that Karen R. Pence could change the outcome of the 2020 election.
Perry is allegedly involved in the fake electors scheme. Washed Up 45 and his allies tried to have uncertified electors be used in the counting of the Electoral College.
Perry was asked to testify to the Jan. 6 Committee in early 2022. He refused to do so. The FBI did not discuss the seizure of the phone of Perry. However, Perry complained that he had pictures of his family and big fishes on the phone.
The FBI confirms that an informant notified the agency. The informant believed that it was a grave matter for the agency to be involved. The former president had allegedly had nuclear weapons documents. The FBI also seized the security camera footage of areas where they deemed of very strong significance.
The FBI conducted a search of the property at 6:30am and ended it by 5pm. The former president revealed the search on Truth Social. He ended up making public and claimed that it was "radical left Democrats" who don't want to see him run for president.
We will talk about the Blame Game on Friday. I have two Blame Games to cover. One local incident involved a police officer from Richmond, Indiana who was shot in the head by a white terrorist. She was expected to be married in a few weeks. She is in a Dayton hospital in critical condition.
She is the latest law enforcement officer in the Dayton metro area shot by a terrorist.
