A majority of Starbucks stores will close today for mandatory diversity training. |
Today, the company will close all company owned stores for diversity training.
About 8,000 stores will close today. This will cost the coffee giant $12 million.
The company will bring in Oscar award winning rapper Common and offer its employees an opportunity to address the controversy.
The company has now changed its rules on restroom and gatherings without purchase. It also will no longer allow its employees to call the law on loitering.
Common will be assisting Starbucks in their plan to make the coffee company more inclusive. |
Rashon Nelson and Dante Robinson have both spoken out since the controversy. The president and the CEO of Starbucks both personally apologized to the pair.
The manager who called the police on the two is no longer working with Starbucks.
I happened to stroll the YouTube and saw white extremist Tucker Carlson complain about Starbucks. He brought on washed up reality star Mike Rowe to mansplain the "diversity" in Starbucks.
By the way, if you feel Starbucks isn't your thing, how about a local coffee shop or a minority owned restaurant. Put your money back into the community.
