Another mass shooting in the United States. Set your emotions to "thoughts and prayers." |
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
This happened in Santa Fe, Texas about 30 miles from Houston.
From the words of a young teen named Paige.
If you watch nothing else about the mass shooting at #SantaFe High School in Texas, watch this.— Leah McElrath (@leahmcelrath) May 18, 2018
Her name is reportedly Paige.#SantaFeHighSchool pic.twitter.com/Xwy5VMCOTK
The terrorist is a 17 year old who opened fire on his former classmates, a substitute teacher and a school resource officer.
I will not mention the name until the blame game. The terrorist was not on the radar. However he would have key signs of potential terrorists.
The terrorist is a white male. No surprise there.
Our inept leader is so worried about those animals coming here illegally and those radical Islamic terrorists that keep white extremists up all night.
Can't call for a terror watch list on the White man.
As expected, Donald J. Trump, Mike Pence, Gov. Greg Abbott, Ted Cruz and John Cornyn would offer their ridiculous "thoughts and prayers," and their hearts to the victims. They want to lower flags, ask parents to hug their children more, and hope for a miracle from an imaginary god.
Their phony sympathy will be harshly criticized because they won't do nothing after this.
The National Rifle Association held their convention in Dallas this month.
Trump went there and promised that as long as he is (you know), he will protect the Second Amendment.
And once again, the Republicans will dictate that they can not do anything on gun violence. They will blame George Soros, Barack Obama, the junk food media and gun control activists.
The Republicans and conservatives will complain about how politicians will try to take away firearms. They will say the time isn't now to politicize these tragedies.
Sabika Sheikh. This young Pakistan teen was one of the many victims killed by this terrorist. |
That moron Kaitlin Bennett was making noise just yesterday. That stupid white beeyotch wore her semi automatic while taking her graduate pictures at Kent State University in Ohio.
No surprise all of these events comes as no coincidence.
Parkland shooting survivors David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez both expressed outrage at the lawmakers. As you know, back in February, a terrorist massacred 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Trump, Pence, Marco Rubio, Gov. Rick Scott offered the same shit.
Last year, Abbott offered the same shit offered during the Sutherland Springs church massacre.
Get ready for two weeks of media coverage of politicians acting like they give a shit when in reality they just want to boost their approval ratings before midterms.— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) May 18, 2018
To the students and faculty of Santa Fe High School, we are with you. #MarchForOurLives pic.twitter.com/3DYXOhmwsP— March For Our Lives (@AMarch4OurLives) May 18, 2018
I can’t wait for the day when I say can say there’s somebody alive right now that won’t be alive this time tomorrow as a result of gun violance and know that’s not true.— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) May 18, 2018
You know if guns actually did make everyone safe America would have no gun violance because we have about 100 million guns or about 30% of the worlds total yet most of its gun violance.— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) May 18, 2018
Can we please not debate this as Democrats and Republicans but discuss this as Americans? In the comments if you see someone you dissagree with do not attack each other talk to one another, this applies to me too. WE MUST WORK TOGETHER TO SAVE OUR FUTURE.— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) March 12, 2018
This has been my fear since February 14th, that another mass casualty shooting would happen before we did anything. Now, we have 8 more children dead and our leadership in Washington has done nothing. We do not need thoughts and prayers, we need action and we need it now.— Fred Guttenberg (@fred_guttenberg) May 18, 2018
At least 8 students have been shot and killed at Santa Fe High School.— Cameron Kasky (@cameron_kasky) May 18, 2018
Prepare to watch the NRA boast about getting higher donations.
Prepare to see students rise up and be called ‘civil terrorists’ and crisis actors.
Prepare for the right-wing media to attack the survivors.
To everyone at Santa Fe high school ,I hope youre safe, I’m so sorry this is happening, and I’m so sorry that it continues to https://t.co/zLRbrizYiD one should be in the situation that youre all currently in. Im not going to say thoughts and prayers but instead policy and action— Sarah Chadwick (@Sarahchadwickk) May 18, 2018
Our children are being MURDERED and you’re treating this like a game. This is the 22nd school shooting just this year. DO SOMETHING. https://t.co/Lc1IWYGssE— Jaclyn Corin (@JaclynCorin) May 18, 2018
Like a broken record. https://t.co/NCg32FaLZ2— Jaclyn Corin (@JaclynCorin) May 18, 2018
Your #ThoughtsAndPrayers didn't work after Columbine, after Virginia Tech, after Umpqua, after Sandy Hook, after Oak Creek, after Charleston, after Aurora, after Isla Vista, after Parkland... You offer empty thoughts & hollow prayers while our kids die needlessly to gun violence— Khary Penebaker (@kharyp) May 18, 2018
Looks like we will get another reminder of why this cannot be the norm.
