Blame Game: Sikh Temple Shooting Tragedy!

A Sikh worshiper wipes away tears after a gunman opened fire on his temple killing six people.
We at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those who were lost in this senseless tragedy.

WADE MICHAEL PAGE IS THE SIKH TEMPLE SHOOTER!

He is a 40 year old former military specialist veteran who may of had ties to White supremacist groups.

According to law enforcement officers speaking on condition of anonymity, the apparent shooter has tattoos that may represent activity in hate groups.

The Sunday shooting of the Oak Creek, Wisconsin Sikh Temple has the nation coping with another domestic terrorist attack upon innocent Americans who worship.

When they release the name of the person, the blame game begins. Conservatives would love to distance themselves from the tragedy by claiming that the individual was either a "Democrat" or "liberal" activist. Conservatives hate when the mainstream media focuses on the individual's race or political affiliation when it comes to a suburban mass shooting. They figure that the individual would be a White male who stockpiled firearms and magazines and harbored an apparent bigotry towards a person or group. The White conservative male is one of the most reactionary human being in this country. They're wrapped around the American flag shielding bigotry. These people are harboring bigoted views towards race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, political and economic standings.
Michael Savage is a conservative agitator who rails against Islam. He is known by his firebrand version of conservatism that could inspire an individual commit an act of violence. He wrote numerous books denouncing liberalism, Islam and President Barack Obama.

Before we get to the tragedy, we want to first talk about the 2009 declassified report about the rise of right wing extremism. Conservative talk radio, bloggers, the Republican Party and Fox News were crowing about  Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Attorney General Eric Holder profiling the Tea Party and those in the conservative movement. The conservatives were thinking that President Barack Obama wanted to stifle "freedom of speech" and "take the guns" from patriots.

The Department of Homeland Security’s Extremism and Radicalization Branch, Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division warned about the rise of extremism because of shifting demographics, the first Black president, a struggling economy, and high unemployment. These are the core driving forces to bringing forth an extremist. The Department of Homeland Security has coordinated with the FBI in apprehending those who are likely to carry an act of domestic terrorism in the name of conservatism.

Frank Gaffney is a notorious right wing extremist. He is an Islamophobic individual who allies with Pam Geller, a former beauty queen turned extremist. They both promote anti-Muslim and anti-Sikh propaganda.
I remember the conservatives were upset about this. They were flocking to WorldNetDaily, InfoWars, PrisonPlanet, The Drudge Report and Breitbart News to find out the ulterior motives to why the Department of Homeland Security issued this report. They were rallying online and the public arena denouncing this report as a bogus hit on conservatism.

ABC News reported the right wing extremist memos attracted heat in the conservative bloggosphere, from Newt Gingrich, Michelle Malkin, Powerline, and elsewhere.

The report states that while DHS "has no specific information that domestic rightwing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence…rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about several emergent issues."

DHS defines "rightwing" as "broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly anti-government, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."

The "emergent issues," the DHS report states, include both "the election of the first African American president" and "a prolonged economic downturn—including real estate foreclosures, unemployment, and an inability to obtain credit," which DHS says "present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and recruitment."

"A recent example of the potential violence associated with a rise in rightwing extremism may be found in the shooting deaths of three police officers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on 4 April 2009," the report states. "The alleged gunman’s reaction reportedly was influenced by his racist ideology and belief in antigovernment conspiracy theories related to gun confiscations, citizen detention camps, and a Jewish-controlled ‘one world government.’"

Pam Geller promotes anti-Muslim and anti-Sikh propaganda with Frank Gaffney.
Other potential dynamics that could help these groups’ recruitment, the report states, included proposed "imposition of firearms restrictions and weapons bans" and the debate over illegal immigration.

"Over the past five years, various rightwing extremists, including militias and white supremacists, have adopted the immigration issue as a call to action, rallying point, and recruiting tool," the report states.

"Debates over appropriate immigration levels and enforcement policy generally fall within the realm of protected political speech under the First Amendment, but in some cases, anti-immigration or strident pro-enforcement fervor has been directed against specific groups and has the potential to turn violent."
The report states concern that returning "veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to right wing extremists," who may attempt to recruit and radicalize the veterans "in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat. These skills and knowledge have the potential to boost the capabilities of extremists—including lone wolves or small terrorist cells—to carry out violence. The willingness of a small percentage of military personnel to join extremist groups during the 1990s because they were disgruntled, disillusioned, or suffering from the psychological effects of war is being replicated today."

"After Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1990-1991, some returning military veterans—including Timothy McVeigh—joined or associated with rightwing extremist groups," the report states. "A prominent civil rights organization reported in 2006 that ‘large numbers of potentially violent neo-Nazis, skinheads, and other white supremacists are now learning the art of warfare in the [U.S.] armed forces. The FBI noted in a 2008 report on the white supremacist movement that some returning military veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have joined extremist groups."

Alex Jones the founder of PrisonPlanet and InfoWars leads a movement of conspiracy themed stories that could inspire lone wolf domestic terrorism. His involvement in conspiracy theories attract right wing extremism.

Sean Hannity and Dr. James Dobson chatted about this report on Fox News last night, which Hannity interpreted as targeting "people who think maybe we’re not controlling our borders" and "people who have pro-life bumper stickers."

“What do you think of that interpretation, especially coming from a guy that started his political career in the home of an unrepentant terrorist who bombed our Pentagon and Capitol and sat in Reverend Wright’s church for 20 years?” Hannity asked.

Dobson said "there are no Timothy McVeighs out there right now. They’re making a big deal out of something that hasn’t happened and may not happen."

Notorious conservative agitators and instigators include Bill O'Reilly Alex Jones, Frank Gaffney, Pam Geller, Michael Savage, Andrew Breitbart, Sean Hannity, Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. These individuals have inspired a deranged individual to commit an act of domestic terrorism. Yet they deny they're responsible. They believe that if the person had mental issues, they should blame the medical field for the individual.

This will get the National Rifle Association a rally call to get fundraising from their supporters. This will bring forth liberal Democrats and the Brady Campaigns calls to having reasonable gun control. This will be a political hot potato for both President Barack Obama and the Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Both candidates are considered soft on guns according to the NRA. But this issue will be once again front and center again. President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney will avoid talking about gun control. They fear that if they mention reasonable gun control, they may lose the election.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the individual is a White male in his 40s and acted alone. Contrary to multiple panicked reports from the scene, officials say they believe there was only one shooter.

Oak Creek police handed control of the investigation to the FBI on Sunday afternoon.

Federal officials cautioned against thinking that a concrete link to a domestic terrorism group or hate group had been established.

“The investigation will have to continue to see and determine the motive,” said a federal law enforcement official who had been briefed on the early planning for the case. “We don’t know much about the motive at this point.”

A federal official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media refused to say whether the gunman was thought to belong to a hate group or some other violent group because the investigation was still unfolding.

Officials said it took a long time to clear the scene with SWAT teams because of conflicting reports about multiple shooters. Police later said they think there was only one gunman, who has been described  as white, with a large build and in his 30s.

“The city of Oak Creek is outraged by the senseless act of violence that happened in our city today,” Mayor Steve Scaffidi said at a news briefing.

In a statement, President Obama said he was “deeply saddened” by the news. “As we mourn this loss,  which took place at a house of worship, we are reminded how much our country has been enriched by Sikhs, who are a part of our broader American family,” he said.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney called the shooting “a senseless act of violence and a tragedy that should never befall any house of worship.”

The Sikh faith originated in India in the 15th century. Male followers wear turbans and women wear head scarves. In the U.S., Sikhs occasionally have been mistaken for Muslims. They have also been victims of hate crimes.

It’s the area’s second mass shooting involving a religious community in the past seven years. In 2005, a gunman killed seven and then committed suicide at a church meeting in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Tragedy At Wisconsin Sikh Temple!

Another terrible tragedy that occurs in America. A Sikh Temple in near Milwaukee, Wisoncsin is mourning the lost of some of their members.

The is a developing story. This tragic act was done by some deranged individual and he managed to kill six before a shootout with cops lead to his own death. It's known that the individual was a White male dressed in black attire. The individual opened fire on the worshipers who attended a Sunday service.

This comes a few weeks after the tragic shooting in Aurora, Colorado at the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises.

The police called the attack an act of domestic terrorism, but did not provide any details about the gunman or suggest a possible motive. Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards did not say whether he specifically targeted the Sikh community.

During a chaotic few hours after the first shots were fired, police in tactical gear and carrying assault rifles surrounded the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin with armored vehicles and ambulances. Witnesses struggled with unrealized fears that several shooters were holding women and children hostage inside.

One of the first officers to respond to frantic 911 calls seeking help was shot several times as he tended to a wounded victim, and was in critical condition along with two other victims Sunday night, authorities said.

President Barack Obama, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Wisconsin governor Scott Walker have express grievance to those lost in this tragedy.

We at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those lost in this tragedy.

This is a continuing story and we will cover this as best as we can!

NBC Denies Calling Olympic Gymnast A Monkey!

Gabrielle Douglas (Gabby) is an Olympic Gold Medalist in gymnastics. She becomes the first African American woman to win a Gold in the sport.
Gabby Douglas is an Olympic Gold Gymnast at the tender age of 16 has become the nation's newest sweetheart. From West Des Moines, Iowa, the young African American gymnastic star has gotten endorsements and name recognition since her victory at the London 2012 Summer Olympics. Douglas is the first African-American and first woman of color in Olympic history to become the individual all-around champion, and the first American gymnast to win gold in both the individual all-around and team competitions at the same Olympics.

A controversy is brewing with NBC and their coverage of the Olympics. From the tape delays to editing out the five year tragedy of July 7, 2005, the network once again embroiled itself in another controversy.

Mediaite and Redding News Review have covered this controversy.

Someone pointed out that the network has ran a show called Animal Practice, a show about doctors, animals, and the hilarious hijinks they will surely get into on a weekly basis. One of the stars of the show is a little monkey, and as a tie-in for its Olympics coverage, NBC is airing a promo for the show featuring the monkey as a gymnast. Last night, the promo aired right after Bob Costas remarked that gymnast Gabby Douglas winning the gold medal would inspire young African-American girls, and NBC is now apologizing and denying any offense was meant in airing the monkey ad.

NBC was planning on having the gymnastics-themed ad airing right after the gymnastics-heavy segment, according to the Associated Press. The AP deals how the situation unfolded.

“Much of America has fallen in love with Gabby Douglas,” Costas said. “Also safe to say that there are some young African-American girls out there who tonight are saying to themselves, ‘Hey, I’d like to try that, too.’”

Then NBC switched to the commercial with the small, widely grinning monkey on the rings. Blacks in the past have been disparagingly referred to as monkeys to the point where it is considered a common slur.

“Gabby Douglas’ gold medal performance last night was an historic and inspiring achievement,” NBC Universal spokeswoman Liz Fischer said. “The spot promoting ‘Animal Practice,’ which has run three times previously, is one in a series with an Olympic theme, which have been scheduled for maximum exposure.

Certainly no offense was intended.”

Conservatives: Obama Hates Them Honkies!

Not to offend my readers, but this website called FightBigotry.com is another one of those SuperPacs that has Republicans seething their teeth into. In turn to make a case against the president, this website claim the first African American president supports Black racism against White people.

Now when was there ever a time that Barack Obama, the President of the United States ever saying anything that offends White people?

In the mind of the Republican Party and its allies in the conservative media, everyday!

After all he attended Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years. His Justice Department let the New Black Panthers get a pass. Henry  "Skip" Gates should acknowledge his tenure and the president shouldn't say the cops "acted stupidly" when arresting him. His USDA worker Shirley Sherrod said some racist things about these White farmers and the president won't admit his Attorney General Eric Holder is secretly plotting a vast voter fraud debacle in the election to hurt Republican Mitt Romney's chances!

Still rehashing 2008 U.S. Presidential Elections, I see! The same old stuff that eventually turned off the independent voters who heavily leaned Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) and swung directly to then senator Barack Obama.
Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh agitate controversial issues such as the president's race, his former allies like Jeremiah Wright and relentless talk about The New Black Panthers, a fringe Black nationalist group that promotes hate and division among the races. They dog whistle white voters with rhetoric that comes off as extremist.

Alan Keyes tried it. He failed. Hillary Clinton tried it. She failed. John McCain tried it. He failed. Mitt Romney is already falling into the trap and he's going to fail as well.

What I'm saying is simple. The more you attack President Barack Obama personally, the more compassion he'll get from voters! They're already upset about the ways of the economy and Congress stalling on key issues for political gamesmanship. President Barack Obama is a likable person. Maybe to conservatives, he's the Kenyan, Marxist, communist, racist, Islamic dictator sent directly from the gates of hell to destroy the very livelihood of the United States!

Anyways, you look at all the doom sayers from talk radio, Fox News and the internet. Either they're too dumb to understand or just plain ignorant and not willing to admit things are better than they were under President George W. Bush.

He inherited a mess. He's tried on fixing the mess with great opposition from Republicans and even Democrats from conservative states. They're sitting back waiting on him to fuck up so they get back into power.

The conservatives think that rehashing issues around his race is going to make White voters more pessimistic about him. They want to chip away that last 40% of likely White voters for President Barack Obama.

In my last post, I've said that when Blacks become the predominant majority of the United States population, then you can at least admit they're racist. I mean there are people of color who are racist towards other races than their own.

But when's the last time you've seen a White person pulled over in a neighborhood for having a license plate light? I mean if he/she was with a Black person, it's likely the police officer is going to profile that vehicle and do a random pull over to see if the person has drug paraphernalia in possession. But a White person by themselves is less likely to be pulled over.

When White people are considered natural born criminals, then you can say Blacks are racist.

When interracial marriage is not looked upon as a failure of liberalism and parenting. Then you can say Black are racist.

When the economic gap between earnings improve between Whites and Blacks, then you can say Blacks are racist.

I won't go into detail about this website! All I can tell you that it's just a hodge podge of misinformation and outright smears against the president and his allies.

[If] I Could Of Shot Another N****r!

Walton Henry Butler charged with hate crime
Florida man accused of shooting an individual and hoped he could of killed more "niggers!"

The Redding News Review and Raw Story contributes to this story. This controversy expands the notion that white conservative males are becoming more unhinged and this example is the growing tension. Extremism is on the rise and with the first Black president, the conservative White male will continue to hope the day will come when either President Barack Obama is defeated in the 2012 U.S. Presidential Election or some untimely event happens to him and his family. Conservatives rooting online for a tragedy. You probably have a family member, co-worker, friend or complete stranger hoping for this to happen.

Florida man charged with with a hate crime after he felt inconvenienced by his arrest because he had “only shot a n*gger.”

Walton Henry Butler, 59, was arrested by Gulf County Sheriff’s deputies on Monday night for shooting 32-year-old Everett Gant, who is black, in the head with a .22 caliber rifle.

According to a charging affidavit obtained by The Star, Butler had referred to Pamela Rogers’ child and other children at his apartment complex with racial slurs.

Gant was shot between the eyes when he went to Butler’s apartment to confront him over the remarks, the documents said. Butler allegedly closed his sliding glass door and left Gant bleeding on ground outside.

The suspect contacted 911 and had finished his dinner before Gulf County Sheriff Joe Nugent arrived.

Nugent recalled that Butler appeared “inconvenienced” by the arrest, saying that “he had only shot a n*gger.”

“He was brought to the investigation unit where he was interviewed and basically admitted to shooting the victim and said he shot a, used a racial slur, and said that is what he shot and acted like it was not like a big deal or anything to him,” Nugent told WJHG.

Butler was charged with attempted murder with a hate crime enhancement. He was being held in the Gulf County Jail after an appearance in court on Tuesday morning.

Gant was in stable condition at Bay Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Another Round?

President Obama plays golf and his political foes are whining about it! The president played more rounds than George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. The reason why they're complaining is because they believe he should be working every day instead of taking time to relax? The Republicans and their conservative allies are using political dog whistle to rile up white voters again!
You know what?

PURE NIGGERIZATION!

I am getting really tired of hearing conservatives whine their pathetic asses off about the president playing golf. It's almost like they saying in dog whistle:

"That NIGGER doesn't deserve the right to play golf or have some time to relax! We the American people put that NIGGER in the White House! Why can't that NIGGER ever do anything? He fucked up the economy! And while he's destroying the Constitution, he and his 'fat' wife Moochelle are taking too many vacations and eating good while real 'patriots' are struggling!"

This is what White conservatives are thinking?

The president doesn't get a day off! Even though today is his birthday, his political foes aren't concerned about that! They're concerned about how many rounds of golf or vacations he takes. Nothing can satisfy the Republicans and their conservative allies.

Instead of worrying about how far they'll go to piss off the entire country, they'll worry their asses off about the president's time to relax!

Do you not understand the President of the United States is probably the most stressful job out there?

Hell you people in the conservative movement should check the script and learn that every freaking modern day president played golf.

The reason why this and that damn teleprompter stuff comes into the conservative media is the fact they're trying to paint the president as aloof, inconsistent and out of touch.

See when then President George W. Bush made the statement that he's given up on golf while the troops are overseas, the progressive pounced on the comments. They've made the case that Bush lied about giving up on golf. Even out of office, Bush was seen with conservative agitator Brian Kilmeade of Fox News playing a round of golf.

According to ABC News, like 15 of the 18 presidents since Theodore Roosevelt, Obama has used golf as a way to unwind outdoors, but away from the prying eyes of press and onlookers. And despite the fact that he had never golfed before taking office, his love of the game is well known.

On warm-weather weekends he frequently visits two courses in the Washington area, Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and Fort Belvoir in Virginia. Typically close friends or junior aides join him as partners, as was the case today when he brought Marty Nesbitt, a chum and neighbor from this city.

Matching predecessors, he is also known to bring business to the green on occasion. Among others, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, former President Bill Clinton, and House Speaker John Boehner have all teed off with Obama at some point.

Republicans have attempted to target the president’s hobby as a sign of taking too much time off in an era of economic trouble for the country. In April, Mitt Romney, who does not play the game, told a conservative radio host it displayed a poor work ethic.

“I scratch my head at the capacity of the president to take four hours off on such a regular basis to go golfing,” he said. “I would think you could kind of suck it up for four years, particularly when the American people are out of work.”

Last year conservative media outlets like The Drudge Report and Fox Nation made a racially themed article saying the president, retired basketball player Charles Barkley, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, comedian Chris Rock and legendary singer Stevie Wonder were having a good ole' "Hip-Hop BBQ"!

Golf is primarily for White males who vote Republican. White males are the most pessimistic voters! They are more concerned with issues such as the president playing golf or eating a freaking hot dog with Dijon mustard.

The biggest success for golf is Tiger Woods. And yet, conservatives can't stand him since he admitted he had numerous affairs with white women!

Blunder!

The July jobs report is out. And right off the bat, the political analysis of this is not good. The unemployment rate is now at 8.3%. The country added 169,000 jobs in the previous month. Not bad, not good either. There were a high claim of unemployment applications during that month and many Americans are still searching or giving up on the job market.

Republicans can rejoice. The talking point reverts back to the economy and jobs.

Mitt Romney had a horrible month. Overseas was a huge fumble especially in the United Kingdom and Middle East. Over in the United States the talk of tax returns and hidden millions in foreign nations is really starting to make Americans question his judgement.

President Barack Obama will celebrate his birthday this weekend. His job disapproval will match his age of 51. According to the Gallup Poll, the president's job approval is 45% - 48%. It will tick up in the coming days due to the economy, the sharp rise in fuel prices and of course his actions here and abroad.

Congress has really "done nothing". The Republican controlled House of Representatives has voted down the Democrats plan to bring tax cuts to the middle class. The Republicans argue that if you can't give the millionaires the tax breaks, we're not going to support this law. The U.S. Senate managed to pass it with a slim majority. How come the House is stalling on progress?

President Barack Obama, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) are looked upon as a bunch of hyperpartisans who are willing to screw up the country for political gamesmanship.
From the right: House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-California).

Congress Republicans have move further to the right on issues. The moderate Republicans are exiting faster than the moderate Democrats. They're fed up with the conservative wing of the party stalling progress.

Cracks in the stalemate. Some Republicans are tearing up the "Tax Pledge" by conservative activist Grover Norquist. The Republicans are slowly warming up to the notion of abandoning tax breaks to the high end earners.

This jobs report is political football for the cable news and talk radio circuit. Of course, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck will say the usual "end of days" nonsense that gives Republicans assurance they'll prevail in the 2012 U.S. Elections.

This jobs report will allow Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Alan Colmes to defend the president by saying that "see there's jobs" and the usual upbeat nonsense that gives Democrats hope that they'll prevail in the elections as well.

The jobs report makes a point to how our economy succeeds or fails.

The Republicans believe that the country is going down a dangerous path to economic failure because of the president's policies and they want to fix the problems. They want to pass domestic austerity cuts for lower class citizens, create bigger defense budgets for the military, roll back regulations for companies that pollute our nation, repeal legislation that protects unions, civil groups and minorities.

The Democrats believe that the country is slowly rebounding. They claim that the dangerous path the Republicans are taking is basically waiting to the last minute to get things done. They want to pass regulations on corporations that ship funds overseas while laying off employees, establish a safety net for struggling families, keep firearms out of the hands of terrorists and the mentally insane, and give rights to civil groups such as allowing LGBT to marry and undocumented workers get an opportunity to become citizens.

The government isn't going to pass legislation to keep the post office running until they get back after their six week vacation. When they go home to their respectable districts or states, your Representative or Senator will have a great time enjoying their vacations while you work harder. While they enjoy a round of golf, boating or an adulterous affair, you're trying to keep the lights on in your home, food in your refrigerator, and fuel in your vehicle.

The Republicans are stalling progress to defeat President Barack Obama. The Democrats can't let go of issues that are deem too controversial. The gridlock is still here and of course we the American people are fed up.

How can you get anything done if you have a bunch of partisans running the Congress or the White House?

I support the president on most issues, but if President Barack Obama has to go negative in order to secure his second term, then it defeats his "hope and change" mantra that he's been rallying his base on!

Mitt Romney is a perennial candidate that will say or do anything to escape the controversy that he puts his big mouth in. He's not the Republican Party's favorite son, but you better believe they are willing to take a moderate Republican over Barack Obama any day!

Mia Love: GOP Utah Mayor Runs For Congress!

Saratoga Springs, Utah mayor Mia Love is running for Congress. If elected, she would be the first Black female Republican elected to Congress.
Coming out nowhere is another Black Republican who wants her voice to be heard. The Black Republicans are marching forth in unison against progressives, the middle class, and of course, the first Black president.

The most known Black Republicans include: Jesse Lee Peterson, Alveda King, Michael Steele, Armstrong Williams, Angela McGlowan, Charles Payne, Congressman Allen West (R-Florida), Congressman Tim Scott (R-South Carolina), Artur Davis, Alfanzo Rachel (MachoSauce/Pajamas Media), Amy Holmes, Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, Herman Cain, Florida Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll, Larry Elder, Juan Williams, J.C. Watts, Jr., James David Manning, and Deneen Borelli.

These people are screaming at the top of their overpaid lungs about how the Black community is enslaved by the government plantation master and his "House Nigger" Barack Obama. The Republican Party hasn't cracked over 20% of the Black vote since the days Dwight Eisenhower. I don't understand why the Republicans fail at achieving this voting block.

Maybe it's their condescending attitudes towards Black people who refuse to endorse Republicans.

Republicans and their conservative allies always look upon Blacks as reactionary, violent and "natural born" criminals. Black Republicans also agree with the general aspect of the party.

Black Republicans are usually front in center on Fox News and conservative talk radio. They shield the bigotry of their fellow Republicans. They maintain that racism is product of liberalism, civil rights leaders meddling, Democrats emboldening in making Blacks angry at Republicans.

To prove that the party is diverse, many people of color are thinking of running for higher office as conservative Republicans.

Texas senatorial candidate Ted Cruz, a Canadian born Latino man who was born to Cuban and American parents won the Republican run-off primary against the state lieutenant governor David Dewhurst.

The Republicans are showing their muscle by saying: Hey, liberals! We got Blacks and Latinos running for office? Why are you calling us racist?

Here's you're answer.

The Republican Party masquerades their racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, condescending, reactionary, nauseating, pain inducing rants under the banter of either using the Holy Bible and the U.S. Constitution. If you're claiming that you are a patriot, why on earth are you hating on your fellow American just because you don't agree with your political views?

Enter Mia Love, the mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah is thinking about running for U.S. Congress. She will be facing off against Democratic incumbent Jim Matheson, the Blue Dog Democrat who's been stalling progress. Many Democrats are distancing themselves from the president. Matheson is among other Democrats who will not go to the Democratic National Convention. Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Missouri), Joe Manchin (D-West Virginia), Senator Jon Tester (D-Montana), Senator Joe Lieberman (I-Connecticut) and Congressman Dan Boren (D-Oklahoma) are not attending the Democratic National Convention. Lieberman and Boren are retiring from Congress. They're seats are potential Republican grabs.

Matheson is a vulnerable incumbent. He knows that the political mood in his state is souring on President Barack Obama. They will take this reactionary outrage to the poll stations.

Love who is considered a Tea Party favorite is getting political buzz in the media. And on Fox News, the candidate is getting her badge of honor! Bashing the president over some perceived "end of days" claim that usually comes from the conservatives.

Her claims of the president and his supporters bidding on tearing apart America is an example of the ridiculous nonsense you'll hear from Republicans and their conservative allies. This type of nonsense is reminded of the "end of days" theme the Republicans and their nominee Mitt Romney plan on running on!

About Love, her real name is Ludmya Bourdeau. She was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1975; she was largely raised in Connecticut. Both of her parents immigrated from Haiti in 1973. After they moved to Connecticut, her parents brought her older siblings from Haiti. She graduated from the University of Hartford with a degree in Fine Arts. She worked at the Sento Corp. and the Ecopass Corporation. She was also a flight attendant with Continental Airlines.

In 1998, Mia moved to Utah and met her husband Jason Love, who she met when he was an LDS missionary in Connecticut. Love joined the LDS Church and married Jason. The couple resides in Saratoga Springs and have three children.

Love favors eliminating the Department of Education and the Department of Energy, and favors returning health care to the states.

Love said that she favors "fiscal discipline, limited government, and personal responsibility."

At her college orientation, Love’s father told her: "Mia, your mother and I never took a handout. You will not be a burden to society. You will give back," a philosophy she underscores on the trail and uses to sum up her conservative views.

Love is pro-life and has been endorsed by the Susan B. Anthony List.

She supports domestic energy exploration, local control of education, Second Amendment rights, and state control of public lands.

Love’s race has been the subject of much attention, as she is the first black woman mayor in Utah history.

She has said that if elected to Congress, she would “join the Congressional Black Caucus and try to take that thing apart from the inside out” and has described the Caucus as “...demagoguery. They sit there and ignite emotions and ignite racism when there isn’t. They use their positions to instill fear. Hope and change is turned into fear and blame. Fear that everybody is going to lose everything and blaming Congress for everything instead of taking responsibility."

This explains a little about the candidate. She makes the claim that Republicans aren't racist. That's just an imaginary thing created by the liberals and President Barack Obama. They would rather carry on themes that could ruin the economy. If they really want "smaller government" how about retiring from your position and never take a pension.

A reminder to those who think like this!

If you fear the future, the end is near. If you are strong and confident about the progress of our country, things would look better and will get better.

President Barack Obama is not a ney sayer! His political foes are! And it's a shame, people actually buy into this crap! And yes, this leads into the next extremist elected for higher office or plotting for the destruction of this country.

Steve King Can Barely Speak English And Yet He Want A Freaking Law To Make It Official!

Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa) is an outspoken member of the Tea Party. He has ties to far right organizations that are considered extremist by Civil Rights groups.

Isn't the United States the land of opportunity?

Did you know that the United States has no official language?

Some in Congress would love to make the de-facto language English, the official language.

Well according to the majority of the United States (likely White males and limited educated Americans),  support of an English only rule is relatively high. When it comes to hiring employees these people don't care about the other languages (including sign language).

Spanish and French are spoken in the United States. But not as often as you would find English as the majority language here.

Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa) is a controversial figure in politics. The firebrand conservative lawmaker has shown not only he's a Islamophobe, but also a homophobe, borderline racist and is considered by GovTrack.us as a far right wing politician. He is the guy you'll find on Fox News interviews with conservative agitators such as Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren and Neil Cavuto.

According to Talking Points Memo, Congress is planning on going through umpteenth recess. This issue of making English the official language of the United States comes in the from of an organization with ties to racism.

Dr. Rosalie Porter, chairwoman of the board of ProEnglish, is testifying in support of the “English Language Unity Act of 2011” before the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution on Thursday morning.

ProEnglish is headed by executive director Robert Vandervoort, who came under fire for hosting a panel at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this year featuring Peter Brimelow of the website VDARE, an organization labeled as a white nationalist hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The panel also featured a speech from then-National Review editor John Derbyshire, who would later be fired from the magazine for writing a racist article in the wake of the shooting of Trayvon Martin.

Porter also spoke on the CPAC panel, where the immigrant and former bilingual teacher called bilingual education an “insane idea.”

Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa), the sponsor of the bill (which has 120 cosponsors), spoke at the CPAC panel as well, where he complained that an unnamed Republican leader would not let him be floor manager of an English-only bill because he wasn’t an immigrant (it’s unclear if that has changed, King’s office did not respond to a request for comment). King will attend a press conference alongside ProEnglish after Thursday’s subcommittee hearing.

Vandervoort himself came under fire from the Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights, which labeled him a “white nationalist” for his alleged ties to the Chicagoland Friends of the American Renaissance. At the time, Rick Santorum’s presidential campaign downplayed Vandervoort’s attendance at a luncheon for the candidate. Vandervoort has previously denied the charge, telling TPM earlier this year that he had “never been affiliated with any group that promotes hate or violence.” Vandervoort didn’t respond to TPM’s interview request on Wednesday evening.

Democrats are slamming Republicans for spending time on a piece of legislation which could prevent non-English speakers from casting a ballot or interacting with their government.

“Are you really going to tell someone who came here from the Soviet Union that they shouldn’t vote because they have poor English language skills?” Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) said in a statement . “I really don’t think this country gains, and in fact I believe we are harmed, by excluding many good people from jointing the families who came from around the world to be part of this great nation.”

Tea-Part-A Fil-A Chick-Fil-A!

The controversy continues with Chick-Fil-A and the members of the LGBT community.

The National Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day was declared by every conservative agitator in the country in response to the progressives boycott of the fast food restaurant.

From observance off Interstate 75 in my area, I got the opportunity to see the exit ramp congested with vehicles heading to the restaurant nearly 1/2 mile away. I heard on the radio that lines were long and the wait was even longer.

Many across the country heard the rally cry from the Tea Party and conservative talk radio. They've showed up in droves. Waiting for up to three hours for a chicken sandwich with some of the world famous waffle fries.

Conservatives claim victory in bigotry. It's the way of the world. Chick-Fil-A is making a cash cow. S. Truett Cathy and his son Dan are getting booking on Fox News (likely Mike Huckabee, Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilly), and he's the new Tea Party hero of the month.

Rush Limbaugh celebrates his 24 years of conservative agitating by asking his listeners to get a sandwich from Chick-Fil-A.

From Wikipedia, Chick-Fil-A had historically been identified with shopping malls, as most of its original restaurants were in their food courts. Its first freestanding store opened in 1986; most of its new restaurants also are freestanding.

The Chick-Fil-A Sandwich is famous for its spicy flavor and pickles on a toasted bun.

What brought the restaurant into controversy was an interview on the syndicated radio talk show, The Ken Coleman Show. Chick-Fil-A COO Dan Cathy made what was seen as an inflammatory statement. Cathy stated: "I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, 'We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage'. I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about."

Thomas Menino, the mayor of Boston is taking offense to the Chick-Fil-A's hardline stance against gay marriage.

In the wake of this interview, Thomas Menino, the Mayor of Boston, stated that he would not allow the company to open franchises in the city "unless they open up their policies.” Menino subsequently wrote a letter to Dan Cathy, citing Cathy's earlier statement on The Ken Coleman Show and responding: "We are indeed full of pride for our support of same sex marriage and our work to expand freedom for all people."

In Chicago alderman Proco "Joe" Moreno announced his determination to block Chick-Fil-A's bid to build a second store in the city: "They'd have to do a complete 180," Moreno said in outlining conditions under which he would retract the block. "They'd have to work with LGBT groups in terms of hiring, and there would have to be a public apology from [Cathy]." Moreno received backing from Chicago's Mayor, Rahm Emanuel: "Chick-Fil-A values are not Chicago values," Emanuel said in a statement. "They disrespect our fellow neighbors and residents. This would be a bad investment, since it would be empty."

Rahm Emanuel, the mayor Chicago has issued a resolution condemning Chick-Fil-A.

San Francisco soon followed suit on July 26 when mayor Edwin M. Lee tweeted, "Very disappointed #ChickFilA doesn't share San Francisco's values & strong commitment to equality for everyone." Lee followed that tweet with "Closest #ChickFilA to San Francisco is 40 miles away & I strongly recommend that they not try to come any closer."

The proposed bans in Boston and Chicago drew criticism from liberal pundits, legal experts and the American Civil Liberties Union. Kevin Drum of Mother Jones magazine said "[T]here's really no excuse for Emanuel's and Menino's actions... you don't hand out business licenses based on whether you agree with the political views of the executives. Not in America, anyway."

UCLA law professor and blogger Eugene Volokh observed, "[D]enying a private business permits because of such speech by its owner is a blatant First Amendment violation." Echoing those views were Glenn Greenwald of Salon, professor John Turley of George Washington University, and Adam Schwartz, a senior attorney with the ACLU.

In response to the July 2 interview, the Jim Henson Company, which had entered its Pajanimals in a kids' meal toy licensing arrangement in 2011, said that it would cease its business relationship with Chick-Fil-A, and donate payment for the brand to Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).

Citing safety concerns, Chick-Fil-A stopped distributing the toys.

A spokeswoman stated the decision had been made July 19 and was unrelated to the controversy.

Black Pastor Denounces Obama Over LGBT Rights!

article image
Black pastor warns President Barack Obama about supporting gay marriage. He vows to dismantle the president if he stands in favor of the rights of LGBT.

As the conservative movement rally in defense of fast food restaurant Chick-Fil-A, another round of agitators comes out in defense of traditional marriage. This time it's a Black pastor who comes out of nowhere and makes the case to claim the president's recent endorsement of equal marriage rights for LGBT Americans is considerably a "Judas" move. This Black pastor demands that President Barack Obama retract his stance or face the wrath of the Black church sitting it out or endorsing Republican Mitt Romney.

It's getting play in the right wing radio, this pastor William Owens, of the Coalition of African American Pastors has come out of the woodwork to slam the president and vow to dismantle the president's core supporters. The Black support is overwhelmingly high. Over 85% of the registered African American voters support the president. This is crucial in an election where a candidate could benefit from a high turnout of first/second time voters.

Owens, a Black conservative pastor who is wrapped around The National Organization for Marriage (NOM) wants the president to stand with the religious Black leaders and remove himself from the notion of same sex marriage. He claims that he marched for the civil rights movement and declared that this movement doesn't include the rights of LGBT.

“The President is in the White House because of the civil rights movement, and I was a leader in that movement, and I didn’t march one inch, one foot, one yard for a man to marry a man or a woman to marry a woman.

“So the President has forgotten the price that was paid. People died or they suffered or they gave their blood to have equal rights in the United States. And for the homosexual community and for [Obama] to bow to the money, as Judas did with Jesus Christ, is a disgrace and we are ashamed. We will not take it back. We will not back down. We are going to take action across this country to change the course that this President has us in.” says Owens.

The National Organization for Marriage tries to bring forth a wedge between Blacks and the gay community.

When President Barack Obama endorsed the notion of gay marriage, conservatives felt the time is now to get his movement dispirited. They worked hard to get things done. In North Carolina, a constitutional amendment was passed forbidding any notion of endorsing legalized gay marriage.

Congress Breaks Yet Again, Putting Federal Workers In Jeopardy Of Losing Their Jobs!

The United States Postal Service is heading for default. The federal agency is in the hole and many Americans could see their service disrupted if Congress doesn't act on this.

Republicans who want "smaller government" will never admit that the U.S. Post Office is the key to keeping Americans at work.

We're aware of the powers of digital technology. Email, iPhones and Cloud services are practically taking away the paper and making easier for people to pay bills and send messages without paying the stamp fees.

The Huffington Post reports that the U.S. Congress will break for their recess, leaving federal agencies in jeopardy of going into default.

At midnight Wednesday, the U.S. Postal Service is expected to default on a multi-billion dollar payment owed to the Treasury, highlighting financial struggles that could affect not only mail service but hundreds of thousands of jobs.

The agency's failure to make good on a $5.5 billion payment toward retiree health benefits comes as no surprise, and the default won't have any immediate effects on the postal service's day-to-day operations, the agency assured in a statement. But the missed payment -- reportedly the first of its kind in the post office's history -- will no doubt ramp up the debate over how best to address the agency's growing red ink.

On Tuesday, some proponents of reform blamed not the postal service but Congress itself for the default, citing a controversial 2006 law that increased the agency's financial obligations and lawmakers' failure so far to pass legislation this session that would address the agency's problems.

"The word 'default' sounds ominous, but in reality this is a default on the part of Congress," Fredric Rolando, president of the National Association of Letter Carriers union, said in an email to HuffPost.

Under the law passed in 2006, the postal service must pay at least $5.5 billion a year into a retiree health benefit fund, a steep "prefunding" requirement that doesn’t apply to normal corporations. Although the agency has suffered a significant drop in first-class mail over the last five years, the prefunding payments have accounted for most of the postal service's losses in recent quarters.

To help the agency right itself, the postal service's postmaster general, Patrick Donahoe, has asked that Congress lighten the prefunding burden, as well as allow the agency to undergo significant cuts to address the decline in mail due to web transactions. Those cuts include the phasing out of 150,000 jobs, the elimination of Saturday delivery and the closing of roughly half the agency's mail-processing facilities -- measures largely opposed by postal unions.

In a statement issued Monday, the postal service urged Congress to get moving on legislation. "[C]omprehensive postal legislation is needed to return the Postal Service to long-term financial stability," the agency said. "We remain hopeful that such legislation can be enacted during the current Congress."

Earlier this year, the Senate passed a bill that would address the pre-funding burden, free up money for the agency to eliminate roughly 100,000 jobs and limit overnight delivery in some areas. The move to Saturday delivery, meanwhile, would be delayed for at least two years.

The House, however, has not yet produced any legislation. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, has championed a bill more austere than the Senate's, allowing for the phasing out of around 150,000 jobs and facilitating a faster move to five-day delivery. The bill would also bar no-layoff clauses in union contracts and establish a commission tasked with cost-cutting if the postal service didn't meet its own goals. But nothing has come to the House floor for a vote.

In a statement Tuesday, Issa blamed the default on long-term mismanagement at the agency.

"The default by the Postal Service on its obligation to its own employees and retirees follows decades of mismanagement, and a willful blindness to fundamental changes in America’s use of mail," Issa said. "The Postal Service continues to fail to do all it can under current law to cut costs."

On Tuesday, the office of Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.), a co-sponsor of the Senate bill, said the House was being "fiscally irresponsible" by dallying and holding up reform. Carper has urged Republican leaders to pass a bill so that the House and Senate can hash out any differences in conference.

"Every day Congress delays fixing this problem, the financial challenge grows more difficult and the potential solutions become more expensive," Carper said in a statement to HuffPost. "If the House has a plan to prevent the Postal Service from defaulting for the first time in its history, I think they should bring it to the floor and pass it. We shouldn’t be waiting around until the 11th hour to do the right thing and fix the serious, but solvable, financial challenges plaguing this American institution."

Congress breaks for August recess at the end of the week, meaning House leaders won't be able to take up the postal issue until September at the earliest.
