Georgia indictment. |
It will be the fourth indictment against the former president. On top of that, he has two federal sandwiches and a state dinner in New York.
Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, Jeffrey Clark, John Eastman, Mark Meadows, Jenna Ellis, Ken Cheesebro, Ray Smith III, Robert Cheeley, Michael Roman, David Shafer, Shawn Tresher Still, Stephen Lee, Harrison Floyd, Scott Hall, Misty Hampton, Cathleen Lathem and Trevian Kutti are also indicted on criminal charges for conspiracy
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Unprecedented.
Giuliani and Powell must surrender before August 25. |
The controversy was brought upon after Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger recorded Trump demanding he finds votes to overturn the election results to Joe Biden.
Besides Trump about 18 others are indicted on RICO.
The indictment details dozens of acts by Trump and his allies to undo his defeat in the battleground state, including hectoring Georgia’s Republican secretary of state to find enough votes to keep him power, pestering officials with bogus claims of voter fraud and attempting to persuade Georgia lawmakers to ignore the will of voters and appoint a new slate of electoral college electors favorable to Trump.
“Trump and the other Defendants charged in this Indictment refused to accept that Trump lost, and they knowingly and willfully joined conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of Trump,” says the indictment issued Monday night by the office of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
Other defendants included former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and a Trump administration Justice Department official, Jeffrey Clark, who advanced his efforts to undo his election loss in Georgia.
The indictment bookends a remarkable crush of criminal cases — four in five months, each in a different city — that would be daunting for anyone, never mind a defendant simultaneously running for president.
It comes just two weeks after the Justice Department special counsel charged him in a vast conspiracy to overturn the election, underscoring how prosecutors after lengthy investigations that followed the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol have now, two-and-a-half years later, taken steps to hold Trump to account for an assault on the underpinnings of American democracy.
Though the indictment is centered on Trump’s efforts to subvert election results in just one state, its sprawling web of defendants stands apart from the more tightly-targeted case brought by special counsel Jack Smith, which so far only names Trump as a defendant. The Georgia case also stands out because, unlike the two federal prosecutions he faces, Trump would not have the opportunity to try to pardon himself if elected president.
Fani Willis faced death threats and racial attacks because of Trump's insidious rhetoric. |
The indictment charges Trump with making false statements and writings for a series of claims he made to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and other state election officials on Jan. 2, 2021, including that up to 300,000 ballots “were dropped mysteriously into the rolls” in the 2020 election, that more than 4,500 people voted who weren’t on registration lists and that a Fulton County election worker, Ruby Freeman, was a “professional vote scammer.”
Rapper Magoo has passed away at the age of 50. |
I am expecting reaction from Timbaland, Ginuwine, Missy Elliott, Teddy Riley and Pharrell.
Melvin "Magoo" Barcliff began rapping while living in Norfolk. He met Timbaland and formed a working bond. Originally formed in 1989, Timbaland & Magoo initially met when they were teenagers, and decided to form a rap group. Though best known for their single, “Up Jumps Da Boogie,” the pair released three albums and were perhaps best known for their work with Missy Elliott.
In 2021, Blackground Records and Empire Distribution teamed up to re-release the whole Timbaland & Magoo catalogue, which also included Timb’s Tim’s Bio: Life from the Basement LP that initially dropped in 1998.
This distribution deal made it possible for the catalogue to be released to streaming platforms, making it available to larger audiences for the first time since the group’s inception.
There is no word on how he passed away but I am expecting hip-hop to honor his memory.
Kenosha Police f--ked up. |
Kenosha, Wisconsin was the place where Jacob Blake was shot and paralyzed by a cop. It was also the place where white terrorist Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed two men also severely injuring one other got away with murder.
The reactions to the arrest were swift and many believe that Kenosha Police need reforms now.
Especially allowing a white terrorist to go home after murdering two people. He didn't even live in the fucking state and yet managed to crocodile his tears out of the iron college.
The police were tipped that a group of people who crashed a vehicle left the scene. The reports were that the group were spotted inside a local Applebee's. They pursue the suspects into the restaurant.
Jermelle English Jr. and Shanya Boyd — and began questioning the couple after being the only diners left in the restaurant, Harris said.
Harris said surveillance video later showed the suspects from the hit-and-run entering through a side door while no employees were present, then entering the bathroom.
Harris said police asked the couple to show which car they arrived in, to which English responded that he had nothing to do with the crash. He then picked up his baby and proceeded to walk away from the officers, she said.
This man was attacked at Applebees by Kenosha Police while he was holding his baby while he was having dinner with his family.

Cops entered an Applebee's, found a Black man holding an infant, and beat him nearly out of consciousness claiming he may be linked to a hit and run.

The hit-and-run crash happened on July 20, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported this week. Police said that witnesses told them they saw two Black men and a Black woman flee toward an Applebee’s restaurant. One witness said the woman was carrying a child, according to police.
An Applebee’s employee told cops that some “suspicious people” who may have been involved in the crash were in the restaurant and directed officers to two people, including a Black man holding a baby.
The suspects managed to slip into the restrooms. The cops who were inside confront a father holding his son. They have an exchange and the cops would end up placing in on the ground with his baby in his arms. That's when the workers at the restaurant start filming and also telling the police they have the wrong people.
The cops tried to take the baby from the man and arrest him. The man yelled that he hadn’t done anything wrong and officers should let him go. The video shows that after the cops removed the baby from his arms, they threw him to the ground and an officer began punching him as he ordered the man to put his hands behind his back.
Cops then discovered the people responsible for the crash in the restaurant’s bathroom.
Police said the man who was punched wasn’t responsible for the crash but tried to leave in defiance of orders and resisted them.
Lt. Joseph Nosalik, a spokesperson for the Kenosha Police Department, didn’t immediately respond to an email from The Associated Press inquiring about the race of the cops who appeared to punch the man.
Kenosha found itself embroiled in a days-long protest in August 2020 after Officer Rusten Sheskey, who is white, shot Jacob Blake, who is Black, during a domestic disturbance. Rittenhouse, who was 17 at the time, fatally shot two men and wounded another, saying he had been attacked and fired in self-defense. A jury acquitted him of homicide and endangerment charges in November 2021.
Leaders of Kenosha, a nonprofit that describes itself online as advocating for transformative and restorative justice, held a news conference Wednesday to call for charging the cops involved in the Applebee’s incident.
“It just doesn’t seem that anyone was a voice of reason that had a uniform on,” said Tanya McLean, executive director of Leaders of Kenosha.
She said the cops acted out of fear, just as Sheskey did.
“We don’t want to stand here and have these conversations about people being harmed when they’re simply having a meal with their family,” she said.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The manager Jennifer Harris was fired because workers allowed the arrest video go viral.
She is suing the company for wrongful termination.
Kenosha Police have a history of misconduct and it time to hold these cops accountable.
Zuckerberg ready. |
It appears the much hyped MMA-style fight between Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and X Corp CEO Elon Musk is not happening.
Musk was the one who originally uttered the idea of a cage match into the world in June. Zuckerberg, who has taken up martial arts training and competed in Jiu Jitsu, has seemed game for the fight from the beginning. But since then, the fight hasn’t quite come together, even though Zuckerberg says he suggested an August 26th date for the bout. Given that Musk said Friday that he’ll need “a few months” to recover from minor surgery on his right shoulder blade, we might be waiting awhile for the match to happen, if it does at all.
Musk continues to push the goal post. Zuckerberg confirms that he is not serious and it is a waste of his time to even deal with him. The Meta CEO said he will be waiting but the time is to move on and focus on building Threads.
Musk is riled up over Zuckerberg bringing Threads into the world. While X (formerly known as Twitter) continues to see decline due to its controversial decisions, Threads is developing a new way to make posts viral and is looking to trend topics.
Launched in 2023, Threads became the fastest growing app. It has attracted over 350 million users since it launch.
X continues to reign with 550 million followers.
Like X, Musk isn't serious. |
Musk claimed Friday morning that the fight would be livestreamed on X and “Meta,” and that everything you’d see on camera “will be ancient Rome.” Italy’s culture minister promptly indicated in a statement that the planning isn’t as far along as Musk suggests, nor will any event actually be held in Rome. Now Zuckerberg is indicating that the rest of the details are a surprise to him, too.
“I love this sport and I’ve been ready to fight since the day Elon challenged me,” Zuckerberg said. “If he ever agrees on an actual date, you’ll hear it from me. Until then, please assume anything he says has not been agreed on.”
The X platform was also in the news for failure to comply to a court order. The U.S. government slapped a $350,000 fine on X Corp after it failed to deliver on a subpoena issued by a judge. Special prosecutor Jack Smith demanded that Twitter release its findings on Washed Up 45's now reactivated account and the company ignored it.
Musk is under federal watch for that one.

Cheong has made a name for himself in right-wing circles by frequently weighing in on U.S. politics.
Long before his foray into U.S. domestic issues, Cheong was best known for his work as a gaming journalist and for his role as an influential moderator on Reddit.
He was best known for falsely accusing a man of ambushing to California sheriff's deputies.
“So @Stillgray almost got a guy killed. Darnell Hicks was not involved. @TwitterSupport really needs to take this misinformation seriously,” another user @MikeStuchbery_ said yesterday.
Cheong yesterday acknowledged the false allegation but not his culpability.
“Compton resident Darnell Hicks was wrongfully accused of the shooting of two police deputies. The information that was previously provided was erroneous,” Cheong wrote yesterday, including in his tweet Hicks’ statement to the press.
Cheong’s baseless allegation was posted two days after LA police on Saturday placed a bounty on the unidentified suspect with a reward worth US$175,000. The suspect was described as “Black male, 28 to 30 years old, wearing dark clothing.”
Cheong’s now-deleted offending tweet had read: “Heard on the grapevine that 33-year-old, Compton resident DARNELL HICKS is the LASD number one suspect in the shooting of two deputies on Saturday. Will post further information once I get it.”
Hours later, the police called out the misinformation, saying: “Currently, there is a social media post that is being circulated which identifies a male out of the Los Angeles area as the suspect responsible for the ambush of our 2 deputies yesterday. This is ERRONEOUS information and there are no named or wanted suspects at this time.”
33-year old Darnell Hicks was the authority’s “number one suspect” in the shooting of two police officers. The Los Angeles County Sheriffs later refuted Cheong’s statement as “erroneous” and that they had no named suspects yet. But basketball coach Hicks, who is also a father of two, was already fearing for his life, telling reporters on Tuesday that he was being harassed and had received death threats.
Folks like Ian Miles Cheong make a profit off spreading anti-Black propaganda. Someone needs to get him a folding chair. Cause he needs one.
Black America is getting tired of the noise. I am sick and tired of racism, misinformation and folks like Ice Cube trying to keep Blacks from voting.
We need to get our asses out to vote. Save democracy and stop racism.
Elon Musk is allowing this trash to continue in his push to get Washed Up 45 back in the White House. With that idiot back in power, he will deregulate policies so Musk can get more hair transplants and luxury yachts.
Cheong is some worthless dweeb from Malaysia. He wish he could be here. Bet you money, he would be denied.

A 14 year old celebrity agitator named Lil Tay emerges from the dead.
The rapper and social media personality who was widely reported to have died on Wednesday, is still very much alive and was the victim of a hoax, she says.
“My Instagram account was compromised by a 3rd party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumors regarding me, to the point that even my name was wrong,” the social media star’s family said in a statement to TMZ.
The initial post on Lil Tay’s Instagram account, which has since been removed, also said her brother had passed away.
“I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say. It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess,” the statement read.
She also said her legal name is Tay Tian, not “Claire Hope,” as was widely reported.
Since her revival, the agitator boosted over 4,000,000 followers on her social media.

Hip hop or hip-hop, also known as rap and formerly known as disco rap, is a genre of popular music that was originated in the Bronx borough of New York City in the early 1970s by African Americans, having existed for several years prior to mainstream discovery. Hip hop originated as an anti-drug and anti-violence genre, while consisting of stylized rhythmic music (usually built around drum beats) that commonly accompanies rapping, a rhythmic and rhyming speech that is chanted. According to the professor Asante of African American studies at Temple University, "hip hop is something that blacks can unequivocally claim as their own". It was developed as part of hip hop culture, a subculture defined by four key stylistic elements: MCing/rapping, DJing/scratching with turntables, break dancing, and graffiti art. Other elements include sampling beats or bass lines from records (or synthesized beats and sounds), and rhythmic beatboxing. While often used to refer solely to rapping, "hip hop" more properly denotes the practice of the entire subculture. The term hip hop music is sometimes used synonymously with the term rap music, though rapping is not a required component of hip hop music; the genre may also incorporate other elements of hip hop culture, including DJing, turntablism, scratching, beatboxing, and instrumental tracks.
DJ Kool Herc, LL Cool J. Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.IG., Eminem and Kendrick Lamar. |
Hip hop music was not officially recorded for play on radio or television until 1979, largely due to poverty during the genre's birth and lack of acceptance outside ghetto neighborhoods. Old-school hip hop was the first mainstream wave of the genre, marked by its disco influence and party-oriented lyrics. The 1980s marked the diversification of hip hop as the genre developed more complex styles and spread around the world. New-school hip hop was the genre's second wave, marked by its electro sound, and led into golden age hip hop, an innovative period between the mid-1980s and mid-1990s that also developed hip hop's own album era. The gangsta rap subgenre, focused on the violent lifestyles and impoverished conditions of inner-city African American youth, gained popularity at this time. West Coast hip hop was dominated by G-funk in the early-mid 1990s, while East Coast hip hop was dominated by jazz rap, alternative hip hop, and hardcore hip hop. Hip hop continued to diversify at this time with other regional styles emerging, such as Southern rap and Atlanta hip hop. Hip hop became a best-selling genre in the mid-1990s and the top-selling music genre by 1999.
