FLOTUS slammed for suggesting an invite to losing women's basketball team.
The UConn Huskies defeated the San Diego State Aztecs in the NCAA I Men's Basketball Championship.
Man, this is why it sucks to be a celebrity. They watch every move and remark on everything.
First Lady Jill Biden caused an uproar and it got NCAA Women's Basketball's biggest troll to react as well.
Angela Reese of the LSU Tigers was ridiculed by Keith Olbermann and Dave Portnoy for taunting Iowa Hawkeyes Caitlin Clark. The Tigers beat the Hawkeyes in a NCAA Women's I National Championship.
The First Lady said Monday that she wants the defeated Iowa women’s basketball team to be invited to the White House in addition to the national title winner Louisiana State University. She watched LSU’s 102-85 victory over Iowa from the stands on Sunday night.
Biden, speaking at the Colorado state capital in Denver, praised Iowa’s sportsmanship and congratulated both teams on their performance.
“I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House, we always do. So, we hope LSU will come,” she said. “But, you know, I’m going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come, too, because they played such a good game.”
Don't come for the crown.
The White House didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment about whether President Joe Biden would also extend a White House invite to Iowa — and whether it would be a joint visit with LSU or a separate engagement.
Following LSU’s victory, Tigers coach Kim Mulkey said she would go to the White House if the team was invited.
LSU star Angel Reese tweeted a link to a story on Jill Biden’s remarks on Monday. “ A JOKE,” she wrote, along with three rolling-on-floor-laughing emojis.
I admire you wanting to welcome both LSU and Iowa women basketball teams to the White House after their record-breaking championship game. However, winners *only* should have the luxury of being invited to the White House.https://t.co/CqQAUUsfFv

No Ma’am!
When Black women win a national championship, they should not be forced to share the stage with the losing team.
Black women are the most loyal constituency of the Democratic Party. The White House needs to walk this back as soon as possible.https://t.co/0dqZ2NVShm
Why is everyone mad with Angel Reese she thinks Jill Biden is a joke so I Am Standing With Her. You don’t have to. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/sqeyODBEaK

Reese — the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player — has gotten a lot of attention on social media during the past 24 hours, ever since she waved her hand in front of her face while staring down Iowa star Caitlin Clark in the final moments of LSU’s win, then pointed toward her finger as if to say a ring was coming.
Clark set the record for points scored in an NCAA Tournament with 191 in six games. If she saw Reese’s gestures, Clark didn’t seem concerned about them.
Social media lit up in the aftermath, with some believing it was trash talk that’s just part of the game while others condemned her for lacking grace in victory. Reese was unapologetic.
“All year, I was critiqued about who I was,” Reese said. “I don’t fit in a box that y’all want me to be in. I’m too hood. I’m too ghetto. But when other people do it, y’all say nothing. So this was for the girls that look like me, that’s going to speak up on what they believe in. It’s unapologetically you.”
Reese is Black while Clark is white.
Jordan Hawkins and Angel Reese are cousins. Both now can sit at the table talking about being NCAA Basketball Champions.
Clark, the scoring sensation who was the first with consecutive 40-point games in an NCAA Tournament, made a similar face-waving gesture to no one in particular during Iowa’s Elite Eight victory over Louisville.
Iowa did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the invitation.
In her remarks, Biden also marveled at how far women’s sports in the U.S. have come since Title IX in 1972 gave women equal rights in sports at schools that receive federal funding.
“It was so exciting, wasn’t it,” the first lady said. “It was such a great game. I’m old enough that I remember when we got Title IX. We fought so hard, right? We fought so hard. And look at where women’s sports have come today.”
Republicans complaining about the federal government until they need it.
Hypocrisy by thy Republican.
The Republicans scream and yell about wokeness, drag queens, transgender children, critical race theory and book bans. They are not doing a damn thing about inflation, gun violence and climate change.
Destructive tornadoes rave the Midwest and South. There were tornadoes in Mid-Atlantic states as well.
Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders have saw their states face the destructive consequences of mother nature.
One Democratic governor, J.B. Pritzker of Illinois has been willing to accept federal assistance. The tornadoes have impacted Belvidere and its iconic Apollo Theater.
Now they are calling for federal assistance. Republican governors show how their rants and raves about Biden now have consequences.
The destruction caused by a plethora of tornadoes Friday, March 31 and early Saturday, April 1, cast a wide net, impacting states across the South and Midwest. As of Sunday morning, the tornado outbreak has been responsible for at least 32 fatalities, according to The Associated Press. Nearly 100 preliminary tornado reports were sent to the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center, with several of the tornadoes causing widespread damage. As of Monday morning, the National Weather Service had confirmed 66 tornadoes.
Some of the most destructive tornadoes happened in Little Rock.
Weather analysts believe this is going to get worse and they expect more populated areas will feel the wrath.
Final seconds of the game and Angel Reese taunts rival. The noise goes bananas.
LSU Tigers celebrate their women's basketball team championship win and the noise goes bananas over its player taunting a white player with her hand gesture. Her hand gesture signalled that she is about to get a championship ring.
Progressive agitator Keith Olbermann got dragged yesterday after he tweeted an attack on Angel Reese, the most valuable player.
Doesn't matter the gender, the sport, the background - you're seconds away from a championship and you do something like this and overshadow all the good. Mindless, classless, and what kind of coach does this team have?
I apologize for being uninformed last night about the back story on this. I don't follow hoops, college or pro, men or women. I had no idea about Clark. Both were wrong.
Just to clarify Angel thinks not defending the 3 pt line vs South Carolina was disrespectful to her. Am I taking crazy pills out here? https://t.co/cgNes2rUN7
For all the dummies out there who don't understand why Angel Reese is #classless it's because she taunted Clark with 10 seconds left in a game that was long over. Talking shit in the moment is 1 thing. Doing it when she did was #classless and that's why it's trending.
The gestures late in the Tigers’ 102-85 victory in the NCAA championship game Sunday lit up social media, with comments supporting the “Bayou Barbie” for trash talk that’s just part of the game and condemning her for lacking grace in victory.
The bubbly junior from Baltimore, who transferred from Maryland to join flamboyant LSU coach Kim Mulkey, was unapologetic in the postgame news conference.

"I'm too hood, I'm too ghetto. Y'all told me that all year. But when other people do it, y'all don't say nothing. So this is for the girls that look like me."
I guess you didn't see Clark taunting the Indiana player and talking crap after the game. I love how some of yall have amnesia when it comes to certain events
“It was cute when Caitlin Clark did it. Y’all didn’t have any issues with it at all. So don’t be all outraged and talking about class and sportsmanship when Angel Reese does the same thing.”
Clark, the scoring sensation who was the first with consecutive 40-point games in an NCAA Tournament, made the face-waving gesture to no one in particular during an Elite Eight victory over Louisville.
The Associated Press Player of the Year wasn’t shy about showing her emotions when the Hawkeyes knocked off undefeated defending national champion South Carolina in the semifinals.
If she saw Reese’s gestures, Clark didn’t seem concerned about them.
“I was just trying to get to the handshake line and shake hands and be grateful that my team was in that position,” said Clark, who scored 30 points. “That’s all you can do is hold your head high, be proud of what you did. All the credit in the world to LSU. They were tremendous.”
In a 79-72 semifinal victory over Virginia Tech, Reese made what appeared to be a “you’re too small” gesture several times after scoring around the basket.
The fashionable 6-foot-3 post with modeling aspirations is becoming a social media magnet. Reese wooed Lil Wayne after chastising the rapper from New Orleans for reaching out to Elite Eight opponent Miami before doing the same with the Tigers.
“I’m going to be me, but I can’t do it without the girls here, and I can’t do it without the rest of my teammates and coaches,” said Reese, who had 15 points and 10 rebounds while three teammates scored at least 20 points.
She was named the Most Outstanding Player at the Final Four after setting an NCAA single-season record with her 34th double-double against the Hawkeyes.
“Twitter can say what Twitter can say,” Reese said. “I love reading those comments. I have all the screenshots of what everybody has said about me all season. What are you going to say now?”
Republicans want to run on this. This sea cow wants Congress to investigate her Biden allegations but not under oath.
What happened to Republicans focusing on inflation and economic issues?
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) are really running on this.
Greene, a far right white nationalist lawmaker from Georgia's 14th congressional district has spent far less time in her district. She barely does anything for the 705,000 constituents who live in Northwest Georgia. She is planning on protesting in New York City when the former president is facing indictment. She was just in Waco, Texas last weekend at his presidential rally. She was CPAC in early March.
Not much time in Dalton, Rome, Calhoun or Summerville.
Gaetz, a far right white nationalist lawmaker from Florida's 1st congressional district has spent about 65% of his time outside his district. He is too busy trying to distance himself from sexual predator allegations. He has too much time doing podcasts, attending Washed Up 45 rallies, appearing on Real American Voice, Fox or Newsmax, running a scam on Twitter and bullshiting. He barely does anything for the 780,000 constituents who live in the western panhandle of Florida.
Not much time in Pensacola, Niceville, Destin or Crestville.
These insufferable lawmakers are trying to secretly interview a woman who has a shady history and possible collusion with the Russian Federation. This woman made a claim in March 2020 shortly after then candidate Joe Biden clinched enough delegates to be the presumptive Democratic nominee. This woman claimed that he sexually assaulted her.
The allegations are still not publicly vetted and of course, no one in Congress wanted to touched this.... until now. The House Oversight Committee is distancing itself from it due to the credibility of this accuser and her notable comments in regards to Russia.
Republicans seething over the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and the grand jury's decision to indict Washed Up 45 for the hush money payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The former president is expected to turn himself in on Tuesday.
Now this woman is baiting MAGA with her allegation. Greene and Gaetz claim that Rep. James Comer (R-KY) will allow them to interview her without oversight from Republicans and Democrats. The woman will make her allegations without being sworn under oath.
Democrats are calling it foul.
The far right and far left are willing to allow this woman who has praised Russia's invasion of Ukraine to public (uh, secretly) testify without any verification.
A little catch up to this woman. She briefly worked for then senator Biden as a staff assistant. She did not have many interactions with Biden. She claimed she was a legislative assistant. They have interactions with Biden. She was a mail room worker.
She lives in California and has worked and volunteered for numerous organizations.
She did not have much recognition in 2019
A leftist named Ryan Grim hinted a bombshell and the woman said, "yup timing... wait for it, tic toc."
The leftist wrote there was an allegation that then senator Biden allegedly sexually assaulted this woman. This woman claimed that she carried his gym bag to him while wearing heels. Upon seeing him, then senator Biden allegedly shoved her against an alcove of the U.S. Capitol, reached up into her skirt and digitally penetrated her.
He tried to kiss her, when she refused his advances, the senator said to her "you're nothing to him."
She claimed she told her neighbor, her late step mom and her brother. Another leftist named Katie Halper interviewed her and made the podcast public. Leftist writer Nathan Robinson would soon be her public official and he would tell her neighbor and brother to stay focused on the allegations and avoid The Washington Post, the New York Times and the Politico.
These two morons will talk to Russian propagandist without oversight.
In 2019, Laura McCann then working for Vox had interviewed her about a past allegation that Biden rubbed her shoulders and staff made her serve drinks because she had legs. McCann did not get any clarification from this woman and it went south. Now in 2020, she tried to reach out to her and the woman blocked her. This woman would bring forth the allegations of sexual assualt through social media. It was amplified by disgruntled supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and supporters of Washed Up 45.
Her allegations were unproven. Several of her former acquaintances had said she misled and stole from them. She lied under oath about her college credentials to be a special witness. She also praised Biden and never brought up these allegations in 2007 when he ran for president, 2008 when he was the vice presidential candidate and 2012 when he and then president Barack Obama were the 2012 nominees for reelection.
Now Tara Reade is trying to muddy the waters with her allegations and her disdain for the U.S. and NATO providing weapons to Ukraine.
Greene on Wednesday said that while there has been some “miscommunication,” she is in the beginning stages of the process of bringing Reade in for a transcribed interview.
Gaetz, who is not on the House Oversight panel, said on his podcast released Wednesday that Comer told Greene “that we would be fully authorized to bring in Tara Reade, to take her transcribed interview.” Reade went public during the 2020 campaign to accuse Biden of sexually assaulting her when she worked as a staffer in his Senate office in 1993, which Biden has denied.
The House Oversight Committee quickly pushed back on Gaetz’s assertion.
“The Oversight Committee is focused on the Biden family’s business schemes and bank records. Chairman Comer is happy to have a conversation with Rep. Gaetz about oversight he thinks should be done and what committee that should be done in,” a committee spokesperson said in a statement.
Comer reportedly told Politico, “I don’t even know who that is” when asked about Gaetz’s announcement of a Reade interview, and noted his committee had not made any announcement. Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) also told The Hill that he did not know anything about a Reade interview.
Greene said she would probably include Gaetz, who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, in the interview.
“I’m in,” Gaetz said, noting that “Oversight and Judiciary have a history of collaborating on investigations.”
“Things happened quickly before – there was – it was a little bit of a miscommunication,” Greene said.
Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) took a personal swipe at Gaetz when asked about a Reade interview.
“Wasn’t he the subject of a year-long investigation?” Connolly said, in reference to the Department of Justice investigating Gaetz for sex trafficking but declining to bring any charges. “And he wants to subpoena somebody and have a deposition whose credentials, shall we say, are highly suspect.”
While Reade got some corroboration from people who said she told them about the assault decades ago, other past acquaintances of her’s cast doubt on her credibility, and discrepancies and confusion about whether she graduated from college as she said she did further damaged her public credibility.
Stormy Daniels explicitly denied having an affair with Pres Trump in her own written statement and signature.
But I’ve never seen any of the other women who accused Bill Clinton of rape nor Tara Reade who accused Joe Biden of sexually assault write any statements like this.
BREAKING: At the invitation of @RepMTG and I, and with the blessing of Chairman Comer, Tara Reade (@ReadeAlexandra) will be returning to Congress to give a transcribed interview regarding her allegations that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her. pic.twitter.com/3YUXiZdNmv
Oversight Committee member Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN), for his part, indicated that he is taking Gaetz’s word for it that there will be an interview with Reade.
“If it’s in the middle of August and Matt Gaetz tells me it’s fixing the snow, I’m gonna get my sled up here,” Burchett said when asked about the situation.
Reade over the weekend called on Greene and Gaetz to investigate her claims of assault.
Greene on Sunday responded that they would like to invite Reade to come speak to them in Washington to “take a stand against the two-tiered justice system.”
A video circulating shows a group of young men tossing a Black woman in the dumpster.
This happened in 2020 but I am now aware of it and I am truly disgusted by the actions.
They are literally laughing at this woman as they shove her into a dumpster. The woman appeared to look disheveled when they forced her into that.
So this is one of the friends that was also apart of this. This is absolutely disgusting. Yet they have the audacity to have blm shirts on. I am appalled pic.twitter.com/cHdBRDvWYQ
this is what was on his friends IG story... we gotta do better. we gotta do WAY better. this is ridiculous man and the fact that niggas laugh and don’t stand up and say stop atleast? it’s sad man.. pic.twitter.com/G9bB7oQNRw
Hopefully the law does arrest the individuals and those who filmed it.
Because if they had any fucking sense they should have considered that if this was watched by thousands of people, someone who seen it would report it to the police.
This don't give a fuck attitude by our young Black men is reckless.
The Kia Boyz, this incident and gun violence. These are the ingredients to the far right's obsession with crime, Black on whatever violence and the mere scapegoating of Black Lives Matter in general.
This fans grifters like Candace Owens, Andy Ngo, Benny Johnson, Larry Elder, Dan Bongino and Ian Miles Cheong.
The Drudge Report, Breitbart, Newsmax and Fox exploit this.
The controversial leftist Jeffrey Shaun King returns to Twitter. He has returned to the social media platform after nearly a year of protecting his tweets from relentless ridicule.
King has been a vocal supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and platformed numerous others through his social media.
He has also a history of bilking supporters of their money through shady fundraisers and activism.
He has backed candidates who often associate with the Democratic Socialists of America and they often are masquerading as Democrats.
He removed his protected tweet function to delete all of his controversial postings. And like magic, King returns to advocate justice.
What’s fascinating to me about Trump being indicted for illegally paying hush money to a porn star he had an affair with…
Is that the party that claims to be of “family values” and “law and order” knew this.
What’s WILD about @GovRonDeSantis openly saying that he will not obey the law (extradition clause in the Constitution) in Trump’s case is that he literally removed an elected prosecutor from office when that man said he HYPOTHETICALLY would not prosecute women in abortion cases. https://t.co/IzaRZ4stM1
It turns out that the school shooter in Nashville bought 7 guns from 5 stores, including multiple assault rifles, all while being treated and evaluated for severe mental health issues.
But conservatives in Tennessee fought against any mental health holds or restrictions on guns
He calls upon his troll army to attack critics. He literally blocks anyone who dares questions his race or his fundraising tactics. He is a white man who is transracial. He is the male version of Rachel Dolezal.
King has fallouts with allies. He is calling for a primary against President Joe Biden in 2024. He has questioned Vice President Kamala Harris and her blackness.
He sic his troll army on Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH), Chicago mayoral candidate Paul Vallas, supporters of the Biden-Harris campaign and those who questioned his race.
He has stolen ideas from Black women. He has started numerous organizations and products that never lift off or deliver the promises
Avoid him.
Drop him as a follower on Twitter. Listen to the mothers of Tamir Rice and Richard Risher. Samaria Rice said it best, “As a white man acting Black you are a imposter that can not be trusted,” she said, adding that King was a “selfish self-centered person” who had made her son’s death about himself. “God will deal with you, white man.”
It infuriates me. Back in the slave days as well as the Jim Crow era, white extremists would kidnap Black babies, toddlers and small children. They end up tying them to ropes, smoother them with bacon grease and dangle them around a swamp in the Deep South.
Alligators, cougars and bears would see the crying child and they would maul the child and eat them. The white extremist would end up grabbing the alligator, cougar or bear when they get entangled in the rope. They would skin the animals for clothes and food.
Alligators are known in states like Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina as well as parts of Tennessee and North Carolina. They are dangerous animals.
Can we do a Darwin Award for the most stupidest people on the planet?
You can't fix stupid!
You can't change minds!
You are completely trapped in stupid.
You are wrapped and emboldened in stupid.
Again, why do white people always treat wild animals like they're domesticated?
I would never touch a wild animal.
Alas, some people think that animals are timid when you're petting them. Nope.
While rare, alligator attacks do happen and many of the victims are close to the water or have pets within a sight of the reptile. If you get too close to the reptile, you are likely a victim of stupidity. On land, an alligator is fast. In the water, an alligator is deadly.
Why do people always seem to not be aware of their surroundings when they live in Florida?
Especially when you live in a community where water is close by... I mean are they clueless or just stupid?
Taylen Mosley was found inside an alligator.
Police in St. Petersburg, Florida, say a missing child was found in an alligator’s mouth and his father has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
During a news conference on Friday, Chief Anthony Holloway said officers were investigating the area of Del Homes Park when they spotted an alligator with an object in its mouth. The chief said officers fired one round at the alligator and it dropped the object.
Officers were then able to retrieve Taylen’s body intact, Holloway said.
“We are so sorry that it had to end this way,” Holloway said.
According to the chief, Taylen’s mother, Pashun Jeffrey, was killed at the nearby Lincoln Shores Apartments after being stabbed multiple times.
An AMBER Alert was issued on Thursday after Taylen disappeared.
Taylen’s father — who has not been named — was previously deemed a person of interest in the case. On Friday evening, the chief said Taylen’s father is now facing two charges of first-degree murder.
On Friday afternoon, Holloway told reporters that a blood trail was seen near Jeffrey’s vehicle.
Pashun Jeffrey was stabbed by the ex-boyfriend. Their child was found inside an alligator.
Holloway said the child’s father showed up at his mother’s home with cuts on his arm at 9 p.m. Wednesday. He admitted himself to a hospital afterward.
“Nothing in our investigation leads us to believe that he is a victim,” Holloway said.
Holloway said investigators are trying to figure out if Taylen died before he went into the lake or after.
The animal will likely be euthanized. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Once the animal gets a hold of a prey, it's rare that an animal will escape without losing a body part.
It's the unfortunate cause and effect of animals and people.
I've said it before and I stand by what I say: "Wild animals are......well you know!"
If you want to be a thrill seeker, you might want to get life insurance.
To escape an alligator in the water if possible, punch its eyes or put something in its nose. Don't turn your back on an alligator. If you're on land run backwards in a zig zag position. An alligator does not want to waste its time trying to catch a prey that moves too much. An alligator can travel up to 20 mph on land and is very fast and silent in the water.
When you are near ponds or bodies of water keep pets and small children away.
I will say this as a reminder. Back in the slavery days, white extremists would kidnap Black babies and string them to trees. They leave them crying in the swamps for alligators and bears to attack them. They would use Black babies as bait for alligators and bears.
I guess critical race theory is more dangerous than mother nature. I guess drag queens and transgender Americans pose a greater threat than an EF3, EF4 or catastrophic EF5 tornadoes. Climate change is real but Republicans call that a hoax. Uh, look at the damages weather events leave behindl
Somebody wake Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders up!
Oops, she hate woke.
Huckabee Sanders, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Sen. John Boozeman (R-AR), Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Rep. French Hill (R-AR), Rep. Steve Womack (R-AR), Rep. Rick Crawford (R-AR), Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-AR) are notified.
The Republicans will take their heads out their asses and beg Biden and the federal emergency assistance agencies to help them. Just like Mississippi, Republicans care when it affects their pathetic lives.
Significant damage has occurred in Central Arkansas. I’m in constant communication with AR State Police and @AR_Emergencies who are working with local law enforcement to assist anyone injured. Praying for all those who were and remain in the path of this storm.

Little Rock, North Little Rock, Jacksonville, Camack Village and most of Pulaski County were hit with deadly tornadoes.
The city of Little Rock has a population of 157,000.
About 45% of the city’s population is Black.
Little Rock was hit by what's being described as a "catastrophic" tornado by meteorologists on Friday, March 31 as severe storms moved throughout Arkansas.
The day was active as Arkansas saw a powerful storm move through the state that saw several tornado warnings and potential tornados in other towns.
There's been reports of lots of damage in the Little Rock metro area and we are working to confirm the extent of the damage.
At least two tornados have been confirmed as of 3:40 p.m.
UAMS officially declared a mass casualty event following the tornado. We are working to confirm any further injuries or deaths.
Dingbat governor will finally admit she needs federal assistance.
Hospitals in Little Rock are reporting a surge in patients, which includes; CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock and Sherwood, Baptist in Little Rock and North Little Rock, and UAMS.
While a source within MEMS initially estimated 600 injured, but Mayor Frank Scott said only 24 people have been hospitalized as of 6:18 p.m.
One person has died in North Little Rock, according to the Pulaski County Coroner's Office.
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders activated the Arkansas National Guard a little after 4 p.m. They will be deploying to areas that have been impacted by the storm.
The governor said they will "spare no resource to assist with response and recovery efforts for Arkansans impacted."
Pulaski County and Little Rock both declared a state of emergency in response to the damage sustained. Rescue crews are in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, and Jacksonville.
Among the damage includes downed power lines, destroyed homes, and many people without power.
The mayor has asked residents of Little Rock to avoid a wide swath of the city, which was hit by the tornado and damaging winds.
The city has set up a temporary emergency shelter at Hall High School for anyone displaced by the storm.
Nearly 83,000 houses are without power across the state, with over 51,000 houses without power in the Pulaski County area as of 7:34 p.m.
Damage has been reported from Little Rock to as far as Jacksonville.
A broken man needs help. Why not call on grifters to get you riled up?
IF YOU SUPPORT THE FORMER PRESIDENT, THE BEST THING TO DO IS NOT TAKE THE ADVICE OF HIS ALLIES IN CONGRESS AND THE JUNK FOOD MEDIA. THEY WILL GET YOU ARRESTED OR KILLED. STAY OUT OF IT. DON'T LET WASHED UP 45 AND HIS MINIONS MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR JOB, YOUR FREEDOM OR YOUR LIFE!
GET MAD, TROLL SOCIAL MEDIA, VOTE OR DON'T VOTE!
I COULD CARE LESS! LIFE GOES ON!
THAT GUY HAD IT COMING AND UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS A PRODUCT OF HIS OWN MAKING!
I swear Ohioans made a fucking mistake electing J.D. Vance as this state's senator.
Washed Up 45 became the first U.S. president in history to be indicted for criminal charges. He used his money to pay off Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal in order to prevent them from spilling damaging information during the 2016 presidential election.
MAGA erupted in their usual bullshit fashion. Besides Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) there is a many more peddlers of bullshit outraged over the criminal indictment.
"No one is above the law" is one of the dumbest opinions one can have. It always misses the point.
Everyone is above imaginary crimes and trumped up charges. Everyone is above political prosecutions. Everyone is above over-charging. https://t.co/GF4I16o6nG
Alvin Bragg is a NATIONAL EMBARRASSMENT to our justice system. President Trump has been proven to have done NO wrong. This is nothing more than a political stunt to prevent Trump from becoming President in 2024!
Tonight’s indictment of Donald Trump isn’t about the law. It’s about power. Raw power. It’s the Democrat Party telling the nation they will stop at nothing to control the outcome of the next presidential election. It is an assault on our democracy, pure and simple
Leftist insurrectionists have stormed two state capitol buildings in the past 24 hours. Not a single word of condemnation from the Left. Never take these people seriously about anything. An entire ideological movement totally devoid of the faintest shred of integrity.
Forgive me, I have been wrong before, and I may be wrong now. But put @realDonaldTrump in handcuffs or jail him and you may be destroying America as we know it. For those who are screaming jail him, jail him, jail him, handcuff him, handcuff him, take him out, take him down, you… pic.twitter.com/brbLQB9e2Z
Yes, we live in a police state. No, it’s not open for debate. Yes, liberals love police states, and the tyranny they bring with it. No, it won’t work as you’ve likely sealed his nomination now in 2024.
Even some Republican lawmakers are willing to jeopardize their own credibility.
Some are willing to bring in a foreign agent of the Russian Federation to attack President Joe Biden.
Daniels, McDougal, George Soros, Michael Cohen, New York Attorney General Letitia James, Manhattan Prosecutor Alvin Bragg, Fulton County, Georgia Prosecutor Fanni Willis and U.S. Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith have likely increased security thanks to Washed Up 45 and his minions making threats online and in public.
Mind you, none of these idiots will risk their lives or freedom. They will allow the vulnerable and disturbed to risk their lives to defend a callous man. They are peddling bullshit for click bait and campaign funds.
If you are willing to commit violence on behalf of a man who literally committed a criminal act, be our guest. Cause these idiots are not willing to raise funds for your bail, send a letter to you, visit you and put money on your books because the food in most prisons are terrible.
The 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump is indicated for the hush money payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal.
He is the first president in American history to be twice impeached, losing twice the popular vote and charged criminally in a white collar crime.
Mind you, he still under federal watch for Jan. 6, the taking of classified documents and misuse of power.
He also has problems down in Georgia.
The Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg got the go ahead from a grand jury to indict the former president after he got his former allies to stifle damaging political information about his adultery to Daniels and McDougal.
As expected, conservative outrage and threats of revenge from some of America's most notorious media agitators.
Republicans are posed to rally behind him.
I will mention Trump by name. The Associated Press will bring the details of how the grand jury came to the conclusion.
The charges remained under seal late Thursday, but the investigation centered on payments made during the 2016 presidential campaign to silence claims of an extramarital sexual encounter. Prosecutors said they were working to coordinate Trump’s surrender, which could happen early next week. They did not say whether they intended to seek prison time in the event of a conviction, a development that wouldn’t prevent Trump from assuming the presidency.
The indictment, an extraordinary development after years of investigations into Trump’s business, political and personal dealings, injects a local district attorney’s office into the heart of a national presidential race and ushers in criminal proceedings in a city that the ex-president for decades called home. Arriving at a time of deep political divisions, the charges are likely to reinforce rather than reshape dueling perspectives of those who see accountability as long overdue and those who, like Trump, feel the Republican is being targeted for political purposes by a Democratic prosecutor.
Alvin Bragg isn't concerned about the noise.
Trump, who has denied any wrongdoing and has repeatedly assailed the investigation, called the indictment “political persecution” and predicted it would damage Democrats in 2024. In a statement confirming the charges, defense lawyers Susan Necheles and Joseph Tacopina said Trump “did not commit any crime. We will vigorously fight this political prosecution in court.”
A spokesman for the Manhattan district attorney’s office confirmed the indictment and said prosecutors had reached out to Trump’s defense team to coordinate a surrender. Trump was asked to surrender Friday but his lawyers said the Secret Service needed additional time as they made security preparations, two people familiar with the matter told The Associated Press. The people, who couldn’t publicly discuss security details, said Trump is expected to surrender early next week.
Bragg left his office Thursday evening without commenting.
The case centers on well-chronicled allegations from a period in 2016 when Trump’s celebrity past collided with his political ambitions. Prosecutors for months scrutinized money paid to porn actor Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal, whom he feared would go public with claims that they had extramarital sexual encounters with him.
Who's smiling now?
The timing of the indictment appeared to come as a surprise to Trump campaign officials following news reports that criminal charges were likely weeks away. The former president was at Mar-a-Lago, his Florida estate, on Thursday and filmed an interview with a conservative commentator earlier in the day.
For a man whose presidency was defined by one obliterated norm after another, the indictment sets up yet another never-before-seen spectacle — a former president having his fingerprints and mug shot taken, and then facing arraignment. For security reasons, his booking is expected to be carefully choreographed to avoid crowds inside or outside the courthouse.
The prosecution also means that Trump will have to simultaneously fight for his freedom and political future, while also fending off potentially more perilous legal threats, including investigations into attempts by him and his allies to undo the 2020 presidential election as well as into the hoarding of hundreds of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago.
In fact, New York was until recently seen as an unlikely contender to be the first place to prosecute Trump, who continues to face long-running investigations in Atlanta and Washington that could also result in charges. Unlike those inquiries, the Manhattan case includes allegations against Trump that occurred before he became president, had already been examined but not charged by federal prosecutors and is unrelated to much-publicized efforts to overturn the election.
The indictment comes as Trump seeks to reassert control of the Republican Party and stave off a slew of one-time allies who may threaten his bid for the presidential nomination. An expected leading rival in the race, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, called the indictment “un-American” in a statement Thursday night that pointedly did not mention Trump’s name.
In bringing the charges, Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney, is embracing an unusual case that was investigated by two previous sets of prosecutors, both of which declined to take the politically explosive step of seeking Trump’s indictment. The case may also turn in part on the testimony of a key witness, Trump’s former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen, who pleaded guilty to charges arising from the hush money payments, including making false statements.
The probe’s fate seemed uncertain until word got out in early March that Bragg had invited Trump to testify before a grand jury, a signal that prosecutors were close to bringing charges.
Trump’s attorneys declined the invitation, but a lawyer closely allied with the former president briefly testified in an effort to undercut Cohen’s credibility.
Trump himself raised anticipation that he would be indicted soon, issuing a statement earlier this month in which he predicted an imminent arrest and called for protests. He did not repeat that call in a fresh statement Thursday, but the New York Police Department told its 36,000 officers to be fully mobilized and ready to respond to any potential protests or unrest.
Late in the 2016 presidential campaign, Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 to keep her silent about what she says was a sexual encounter with Trump a decade earlier after they met at a celebrity golf tournament.
Earlier in 2016, Cohen also arranged for the publisher of the supermarket tabloid the National Enquirer to pay Playboy model Karen McDougal $150,000 to squelch her story of a Trump affair in a journalistically dubious practice known as “catch-and-kill.”
The payments to the women were intended to buy secrecy, but they backfired almost immediately as details of the arrangements leaked to the news media.
Federal prosecutors in New York ultimately charged Cohen in 2018 with violating federal campaign finance laws, arguing that the payments amounted to impermissible help to Trump’s presidential campaign. Cohen pleaded guilty to those charges and unrelated tax evasion counts and served time in federal prison.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) are furious.
Trump — obliquely referred to in charging documents as “Individual 1” — was implicated in court filings as having knowledge of the arrangements, but U.S. prosecutors at the time balked at bringing charges against him. The Justice Department has a longtime policy against prosecuting a sitting president in federal court.

Bragg’s predecessor as district attorney, Cyrus Vance Jr., then took up the investigation in 2019. While that probe initially focused on the hush money payments, Vance’s prosecutors moved on to other matters, including an examination of Trump’s business dealings and tax strategies.
Vance ultimately charged the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer with tax fraud related to fringe benefits paid to some of the company’s top executives.
The hush money matter became known around the D.A.’s office as the “zombie case,” with prosecutors revisiting it periodically but never opting to bring charges.
Bragg saw it differently. After the Trump Organization was convicted on the tax fraud charges in December, he brought fresh eyes to the well-worn case, hiring longtime white-collar prosecutor Matthew Colangelo to oversee the probe and convening a new grand jury.
Cohen became a key witness, meeting with prosecutors nearly two-dozen times, turning over emails, recordings and other evidence and testifying before the grand jury.
Trump has long decried the Manhattan investigation as “the greatest witch hunt in history.” He has also lashed out at Bragg, calling the prosecutor, who is Black, racist against white people.
The criminal charges in New York are the latest salvo in a profound schism between Trump and his hometown — a reckoning for a one-time favorite son who grew rich and famous building skyscrapers, hobnobbing with celebrities and gracing the pages of the city’s gossip press.
Trump, who famously riffed in 2016 that he “could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody” and “wouldn’t lose voters,” now faces a threat to his liberty in a borough where more than 75% of voters — many of them potential jurors — went against him in the last election.
