Senate Finally Confirms Biden's ATF Pick!

The Senate confirms a long awaited ATF pick.

The Senate finally confirms Steve Dettelbach as head of the ATF. It took over seven years but finally, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has a person to oversee the mass shootings in the United States.

Steve Dettelbach, who was a U.S. attorney in Ohio during the Obama administration, will lead a law enforcement agency tasked with overseeing firearms in the wake of numerous high-profile mass shootings and a new federal gun violence prevention law.

The successful vote was praised by gun violence prevention advocates, who spent months urging President Joe Biden to find an ATF leader after opposition from the gun lobby contributed to the sinking of a previous nominee, David Chipman, in September.

“Steve Dettelbach is a proven and effective leader who will helm ATF, catalyzing the agency’s work and helping to implement President Biden’s gun violence prevention strategy," said Kris Brown, who leads the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.

He was confirmed on a partisan 48-46 vote.

"The importance of a Senate-confirmed director cannot be overstated," Brown said, saying ATF is important to "enforcing the nation’s gun laws and reduce gun trafficking and the supply of firearms that are fueling our nation’s gun violence crisis."

Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) said the confirmation will help implement gun laws “because he’s a law enforcement guy.”

“He’s not going to be the savior, but I think it’ll help,” he said.

Republican Sens. Karen Collins of Maine and Karen Portman of Ohio joined Democrats in voting for the nomination. Some senators missed the vote, including Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) whose office said he is working remotely this week after he tested positive for Covid.

"It's important to have somebody at the ATF," said Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) whose wife, former Rep. Gabby Giffords, survived a shooting at a constituent event in 2011 and went on to form a gun violence prevention group. "It needs that leadership," he said.

Uvalde Residents Angered By Yellow Cops!

The terrorist had an opportunity to kill as many as he could.

Be warned, the video is graphic.

The Texas Department of Safety released the footage of the Robb Elementary mass shooting. The footage was slightly edited to avoid the footage of the terrorist killing children in the hallways and classrooms. It did show the cops were outgunned and too afraid to face the terrorist.

It took nearly an hour before they took out the threat.

The video, which was recorded in a hallway and obtained and edited by the Austin American-Statesman and KVUE-TV of Austin, shows the officers arriving at Robb Elementary School at 11:36 a.m. May 24, three minutes after the gunman was seen entering the school and walking down an empty hallway.

About 20 seconds after the 18-year-old gunman is seen entering the school, he turns to his left and opens fire on a classroom.

Authorities have said he fired at least 100 shots with an AR-15-style rifle into adjoining classrooms filled mostly with fourth graders.

Chillingly, a student who KVUE reported had been in the bathroom — and was just steps behind the gunman — could be seen in the video running from the gunfire after watching the initial burst of shots.

The American-Statesman reported that the student was rescued later.

About a minute later, after several officers approach the classroom, a second burst of gunfire can be heard, and an officer can be seen racing down the hall. Two others slowly follow him.

It isn't clear what agencies the officers were from. Local, state and federal agencies involved in the response didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment Tuesday evening.

In the hour that followed the second round of shots, the video shows the number of officers inside the hallway swelling.

At 12:21, several officers with tactical gear can be seen approaching the classroom, yet it isn't until 12:50 that officers enter and fatally shoot the gunman.

While officers are waiting, one can be seen rubbing what appears to be sanitizer on his hands after he crossed the hall to get to a wall-mounted dispenser.

Texas Gov. Karen Abbott told KVUE last week that the video "needs to be released" to show "exactly what happened."

In a statement Tuesday, Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw blasted the release, saying the video should have been seen first by those hit hardest by the massacre.

"I am deeply disappointed this video was released before all of the families who were impacted that day and the community of Uvalde had the opportunity to view it," he said in a statement on the department's website.

Texas failed the victims of Robb Elementary.

In an editorial published Tuesday, the American-Statesman said it published the video "to continue to bring to light what happened at Robb Elementary, which the families and friends of the Uvalde victims have long been asking for."

At a hearing with lawmakers last month, McCraw described the response to the shooting as an "abject failure and antithetical to everything we've learned over the last two decades since the Columbine massacre."

"The only thing stopping a hallway of dedicated officers from [entering rooms] 111 and 112 was the on-scene commander who decided to place the lives of officers before the lives of children," he said.

The person state officials have identified as the commander, Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Police Chief Pete Arredondo, told The Texas Tribune last month that he considered himself a front-line officer and not the one managing the response.

"I didn’t issue any orders," he told The Tribune. "I called for assistance and asked for an extraction tool to open" the locked classroom door.

Arredondo, who has been on leave from the school district since June 22, resigned July 2 from the seat he won this year on the Uvalde City Council.

White Privilege At Its Worst: Texas Pregnant Woman's HOV Ticket Sparks Unborn Debate!

Dallas mom to be uses the Texas law making a fetus a life as an excuse to get out of ticket.

A white (Hispanic) woman got a ticket in Dallas after being caught driving in the HOV lane of the Central Expressway (U.S. Highway 75). A Dallas County Sheriff pulled her over and her excuse was priceless. I don't know her politics but it seems like she is going to exploit the overturning of abortion rights. It might be a silent protest or a pro-life stance.

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, she told the deputy that her fetus is considered a passenger and it should be allowed. The deputy did not buy that bullshit and cited her for unauthorized travel in the high occupancy lane. Now she is fighting the $215 fine and a Republican state lawmaker wants to back her bid.

It is the aftermath of a polarizing decision by the Supreme Court. The 6-3 decision has now allowed many states to now authorize abortion bans.

It also allowed state lawmakers to make stupid laws in regards of this.

Brandy Bottone, 32, of Plano, was pulled over June 29 after she drove in an HOV lane, or high-occupancy vehicle land, NBC-Dallas Fort Worth reported.

Bottone, who was 34 weeks pregnant at the time, told the officers that with the overturning of Roe v. Wade, her unborn child now was recognized as a living person. The U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on June 24.

'And then I said, ‘Well [I’m] not trying to throw a political mix here, but with everything going on, this counts as a baby,'" Bottone told NBC-Dallas-Fort Worth.

Bottone told The Dallas Morning News that the officer told her he didn't "want to deal with this" and insisted that the law for HOV lanes required there to be "two persons outside of the body."

Although the penal code in Texas recognizes a fetus as a person, it appears there's no language in the state Transportation Department's code that recognizes a fetus as a person or a passenger.

Representatives for sheriff’s department and the state Transportation Department didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.

Deputies told Bottone that if she fought the ticket, it would likely be dismissed. She plans to fight the $215 ticket with the argument that her in-utero baby should count as another occupant of her vehicle.

"This has my blood boiling. How could this be fair? According to the new law, this is a life," Bottone told The Morning News. "I know this may fall on deaf ears, but as a woman, this was shocking."

More Jan. 6 Hearings!

Oath Keepers heard the former president's call to arms.

A former member of the Oath Keepers will testify today at the Jan. 6 Committee hearing. The hearing is dealing with the former president and his ties to far right extremists. The Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was inspired by Washed Up 45. He whipped up a mob to overturn democracy.

Upset over his loss, the former president went to social media and cable news to promote the big lie.

The former president urged supporters to "fight like hell" and not show weakness.

Conservatives are hoping to distract from the hearing to focus on President Joe Biden. As I am posting, the noise is complaining about Dr. Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States mentioning "breakfast tacos" for Pete's sake.

The president signed a gun reform bill, gas prices are dropping, inflation seems to be cooling off, a good jobs report and debt is down. Yet, we're talking about polls, tacos, and who will run in 2024 as the Democratic nominee if Biden decides not to run.

All noise.

Distractions from real issues like the Supreme Court trying to rollback rights.

Ignore the noise.

Vote.

The panel investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol siege convenes Tuesday for a public hearing probing what it calls the final phase of Washed Up 45’s multi-pronged effort to halt Joe Biden’s victory. As dozens of lawsuits and false claims of voter fraud fizzled, the former president tweeted the rally invitation, a pivotal moment, the committee said. The far-right Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and others now facing criminal charges readily answered.

“We will lay out the body of evidence that we have that talks about how the president’s tweet on the wee hours of December 19th of ‘Be there, be wild,’ was a siren call to these folks,” said one panel member, Rep. Stephanie Murphy, D-Fla., over the weekend on “Meet the Press.” In fact, the former president tweeted, “Be there, will be wild!”

Among those expected to testify is Stephen Ayres, who pleaded guilty last month to disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building. He admitted that on Jan. 2, 2021, he posted an image stating that former president was “calling on us to come back to Washington on January 6th for a big protest.” Another witness is Jason Van Tatenhove, an ally of Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes. The witnesses were confirmed by someone familiar with the testimony who spoke on condition of anonymity because the witnesses had not yet been announced.

Now The Noise Goes After FLOTUS Because Of "Breakfast Tacos!"

Pearl clutching about First Lady Jill Biden mentioning tacos at Hispanic event.

The noise is zeroed in on First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden saying "breakfast tacos" to a group of Latinx supporters. This pearl clutching from the far right is certainly driven the news cycle.

Here we go again.

"YOU AIN'T BLACK!"

"WE ARE NOT TACOS!"

This is the latest distraction from low gas prices, a good jobs report, inflation decreasing and another attempt to keep Democrats from voting in the Midterms. With democracy on the line, you see all this noise is being ratcheted up by leftists, far right agitators and of course the "do something" celebrities.

Ignore the noise.

Vote.

If the Republicans get back into power, we will have another deadly insurrection which could uproot democracy. Do not allow media agitators depress the vote.

Black women know what they're talking about. They see the writing on the wall.

White leftists and their enablers are going to let Republicans win with all their noise.

I am reminded that America did not vote for a populist. They voted for a rational boring guy. The very same pearl clutching agitators who call immigrants, aliens are upset over tacos.

The person who represents the National Association of Hispanic Journalists decided to tweet a remark that went viral. The remark says she said courtesy of The White House.

Like all of you, Joe and I think about those families—and all who carry that grief—every day.

Softball Hannity whines about Biden's remarks.

When we were leaving the school, someone shouted “Do something!” And I’m proud that Joe has. He will continue to do everything he can and to call on Congress to act, including on measures that ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.

We are committed to building a safer, healthier, more prosperous, and fair America.

And I know that Unidos is as well—and has been since the very start.

In fact, I was reminded of the transformational power of this organization when Joe awarded your longtime leader, Raul Yzaguirre, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, our country’s highest civilian honor.

Raul has dedicated his life to working for so many civil liberties: from fighting poverty to improving education to advancing voting rights. But one of the most powerful things that he did through this organization was to bring the Latino community together. Because he understood that unity is powerful. And he challenges us to be just as brave and bold.

It’s a reminder that we all need—now more than ever.

A little over a month ago, I had the opportunity to give a commencement to Los Angeles City College students. The crowd was a majority Latino, but the students didn’t share one story.

There were immigrants, and first-generation Americans, and Angelenos whose families have lived on this land since long before it was called the United States. There were engineers and artists, veterans and students who are going on to four-year colleges.

They didn’t share one path or dream. But as I saw the joy in their faces, I could see that they did have one thing in common: Each of them will bring exceptional gifts and talents to their corner of our country—and will make their community stronger by being a part of it.

Yes, the Latino community is unique. But what I’ve heard from you again and again is that you want what all families want. Good schools. Good jobs. Safe neighborhoods.

You want justice and equality—the opportunity to build a better life for your families.

It’s not only what all families want; it’s what all families deserve. But we can’t get those things on our own.

Raul helped build this organization with the understanding that the diversity of this community—as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio—is your strength.

And yet, it’s when you speak with one voice—unidos—that you find your power.
Thanks to the hard work of you and advocates across the country, we have torn down so many of the barriers that kept Latinos out of our seats of power. But your voice hasn’t always been listened to, has it?

So the unique as the breakfast tacos got NAHJ's panties in a bunch. She did not refer Latinx voters to being tacos. She was talking breakfast tacos being a part of San Antonio's culture.

Of course they responded in snarky fashion.

“NAHJ encourages Dr. Biden and her speech writing team to take the time in the future to better understand the complexities of our people and communities,” NAHJ said.

It it started from a Karen working at the far right Media Research Center.

They take a 45 minute speech by the First Lady and they clipped 45 seconds.

Powered by Poll Maker

They end up making this the news instead of the president and first lady's commitment to diversity and openness.

Republicans are a white nationalist party. About 94% of the party is white. The party is trying to male small inroads with Hispanic and Black voters. They are trying to court them with culture wars and Biden's agenda not moving fast enough.

I am sick and tired of the noise. I am not going to allow all these phony scandals depress me from voting.

If you're outraged over tacos, wait til the Republicans take away your rights to freely protest, your right to marry, your right to film police, your right to privacy, your right to vote and your right to fair representation.

The Supreme Court will take up immigration, civil rights, filming police activity, gay marriage and state powers when it comes to redistricting in the next session.

A 6-3 decision could impact American democracy as we know it.

Mo Farah: I Was Sold A Child Servant!

Mo Farah shares a traumatizing story.

British distance runner Mo Farrah says he was a victim of human trafficking. He said a victim of the system in which children are sold into either slavery, sex and servitude.

Sir Mohamed Muktar Jama Farah CBE OLY (born Hussein Abdi Kahin) is a British long-distance runner. His ten global championship gold medals (four Olympic and six World titles) make him the most successful male track distance runner ever, and he is the most successful British track athlete in modern Olympic Games history.

Farah disclosed that he was brought to the U.K. by a woman he did not know using another child's name. Once there, he was forced to work for her and her family, and prevented from contacting his own.

"Despite what I said in the past, my parents never lived in the UK," Farah told the BBC.

He says the family was "torn apart" after his father was killed in the civil war when he was just four years old. Somaliland declared independence in 1991 when it broke away from war-torn Somalia, but has never been recognized as a sovereign state.

"I was separated from my mother and I was brought into the UK illegally under the name of another child called Mohamed Farah," he said in a clip of the interview.

The four-time Olympic gold medalist was either eight or nine years old when he was flown to the UK by a woman he'd never met before, he said.

Once he arrived, he says he was forced to "do housework and childcare."

Several years later, he was finally allowed to enroll in school, where he confided in a PE teacher about his situation. The teacher contacted social services and Farah moved in with a Somali foster family.

"I still missed my real family, but from that moment everything got better," he tells the BBC.

Farah, who was granted British citizenship in 2000, says running saved him from a life in servitude.

The Far Right And The Escapades Of Hunter Biden!

Hunter Biden has mental issues and the Republicans exploit them.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) collects information on thousands of state-licensed providers who specialize in treating substance use disorders, addiction, and mental illness. For help finding treatment, call 1-800-662-HELP (4357). If you are feeling suicidal or in emotional distress, call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.

In emergencies, dial 911.

Let me remind folks, Robert Hunter Biden is not a member of the White House. He is a private citizen who has no influence on the 46th President of the United States. He is a grown ass man who makes his own decisions. Like most families, someone has a member who has used drugs. No one is perfect.

However, the far-right needs to understand that their business could be shared online as well. Don't think they're innocent and pure.

If I was religious, I would say that "God never made man a perfect entity."

Hunter is the son of President Joe Biden. He has mental health and drug issues. His personal problems are being leaked to the press. The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the videos and they are looking into this. The iCloud of the president's embattled son was hacked. The content landed on 4chan, a website for trolls and white extremists. He the son of Biden's first wife Neilia. She was killed in a car accident with her daughter Naomi. Hunter's and brother Beau (Joseph R. Biden III) were badly injured in the accident. Beau died in 2015 after suffering from brain cancer. Hunter and half-sister Ashley Biden are the children of the president. Ashley also doesn't work in the White House. She is an activist and fashion designer. They have no influence on the president.

Yet, this is what we're dealing with in the world of MAGA.

Fox, The Daily Mail and far right outlets are using it as a wedge issue to go after Biden. The Republicans are obsessed with it as well. They vow to investigate Biden and the president.

However, the U.S. Justice Department is also looking into Biden's misconduct.

Like many Americans, drug abuse has been a part of a daily life for those who struggle with depression, stress, sexual abuse and life struggles.

You probably have family members or know a person who has drug abuse issues.

Republicans, the so-called party of family values act like Hunter Biden is bigger than Washed Up 45 summoning a mob of his supporters to overthrow democracy.

So Biden is engaging in sexual activity with a prostitute and also smoking crack.

And of course, he's the president's son and he has mental health issues, drug issues and sex addition.

He is a fucking human being.

Biden acknowledged in a statement in December 2020 that federal investigators are probing his "tax affairs." A representative for Biden said in May he has paid off all of his tax responsibilities to the IRS, but legal experts have said that wouldn't necessarily spare him any potential criminal liability.

Washed Up 45 and The New York Post tried this shit in the 2020 election. They

You know Biden forbid anyone in his campaign to go after the former president's five children. He said that he wants to be above the fray and not go into gutter politics.

Well if we're into that type of stuff. Why not talk about Vince McMahon cheating on his wife?

In the world of whataboutism, the former president slept with an adult entertainer. He sexually abuse multiple women. Washed Up, Jr. also slept with Russian prostitutes, Karen Guilfoyle, contestants from The Apprentice and is allegedly doing cocaine as well.

Karvanka and Kared Kushner both worked with the former president. Highly unethical given that she is the daughter and he's the son-in-law. They reportedly made millions.

Biden had acknowledged his troubled past. Somehow the far-right won't let his past go.

The former president's five children are a trainwreck.

Polls Say Biden Should Not Run In 2024!

The noise wants Biden not to run in 2024.

Let's ask this question.... who is doing these polls?

For one, the American voters did not pick a populist firebrand for president. Two, the Congress is mostly responsible for the gridlock in Washington, DC. Three, are we that stupid to fall victim to misinformation on social media.

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok and every social media outlet is where many of these folks get their information.

Extremists want a candidate that can light fires on the building. They didn't want a guy who is boring.

So there's a poll claiming that 64% of the Democratic Party wants someone else to be the nominee. Biden confirms he is running in 2024.

Biden was heckled by the father of a victim in the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas high school mass shooting. He was celebrating the first gun reform measure in almost 30 years. It does not go far enough, but enough to get Republicans to vote for it. A mere 14 members of the Senate and 15 in the House.

"Despite the naysayers, we can make meaningful progress on dealing with gun violence," Biden said in footage of the speech posted to Twitter by CSPAN.

Manuel Oliver demands Biden to do more.

Manuel Oliver, whose son Joaquin was among the 17 people killed in the Parkland mass shooting, could be heard shouting in the background.

"Sit down. You'll hear what I have to say," Biden said, as Oliver continued to yell at the president. Moments later, the president added, "Let me finish my comments. Let him talk. Let him talk."

Oliver told CNN that new gun legislation passed in the wake of a recent spate of high-profile mass shootings is "not enough" to address the violence.

A majority of Americans (64%) approve of the new gun law, including 32% who said they strongly approve of the legislation, according to new polling from Pew Research Center. But the survey also found that most Americans (78%) think the bill will do "a little" (42%) or "nothing at all" (36%) to reduce gun violence.

The bill, which Biden signed in late June, came following high-profile instances of gun violence in the US — including a mass shooting that left 21 dead at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. Though the bill represents the most significant gun legislation passed by Congress in roughly three decades, critics contend it falls short of what's necessary to curb gun violence.

Even the president gets heckled. Why ain't the far right upset over that like they were when protesters crashed Karen Kavanaugh's dinner?

The bill expands background checks for people ages 18 and 21 attempting to buy guns and provides incentives for states to pass red flag laws, which open the door for courts to order the temporary confiscation of a person's guns if they're considered a danger to themselves or others. It also builds on a ban on gun ownership for convicted domestic abusers by also including dating or intimate partners in addition to spouses and ex-spouses — aiming to close what's known as the "boyfriend loophole."

"While this bill doesn't do everything I want, it does include actions I've long called for that are going to save lives," Biden said as he signed the bill last month. "Today, we say more than 'enough.' We say more than 'enough.' This time, when it seems impossible to get anything done in Washington, we are doing something consequential."

Biden echoed these sentiments during his remarks at the White House on Monday, stating that the bill "matters, but it's not enough." The president described the US as a country "awash in weapons of war," underscoring that he's "determined" to see assault weapons and high-capacity magazines banned.

Additionally, the poll found that 63% of Americans would like to see Congress pass another round of legislation to address gun violence.

"I am only assuming that white Democrats are more concerned about Biden than anyone else. I mean he was elected to be the "rational boring guy".

With Roe v. Wade being overturned, the far left is blaming Biden for things they could have done in 2010, 2014, 2016 and even 2020. What could have happened was the responsibility of voters who lean Democrat but choose not to vote.

Barack Obama did not have a two year supermajority. Had then Harry Reid called for the end of cloture, the Republicans would have been beating that around his head. Especially with Fox, Rush Limbaugh, Karen Palin and Washed Up 45 always trolling.

Democrats who are young and educated should be out in mass voting.

Vote.

Ignore the noise.

Texans Brace For Blackouts!

Texas is bracing for another power grid failure.

Texas does not share the power grid with neighboring states. It has its own energy grid and it was the focus of controversy in 2021. When ERCOT had failed to defrost their electrical equipment, it led to a power outage that affected 85% of the state. It was a ice storm and record cold conditions.

It led to 100 deaths. Power did not come back on for two weeks. Texas governor Karen Abbott took a hit for that. Sen. Karen Cruz (R-TX) left the state to travel to Mexico for a vacation. If it wasn't for travelers who caught him on flight, he would have not been forced back home to answer constituents who felt abandoned by their state representatives.

It appears the state has not learned from its mistakes.

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas late Sunday sent out a request that Texans cut back on their energy use on Monday.

ERCOT, the state's power grid operator, asked Texans to turn up their thermostats and postpone running major appliances between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday. ERCOT has also called on large electric customers to lower their electricity use.

Total forecasted power demand is expected to surpass 79 gigawatts on Monday, ERCOT said - which would set another record.

ERCOT's statement said that no system-wide outages are expected at this time.

Low winds are also making it harder for the grid to keep up with demand during hotter-than-usual July temperatures. Current projections show wind generation coming in less than 10% of its capacity on Monday, ERCOT said.

Power grids must keep supply and demand in balance at all times. When Texas' grid falls below its safety margin of excess supply, the grid operator starts taking additional precautions to avoid blackouts. The first precaution is to ask the public to cut back electricity usage.

ERCOT asked Texans in May to conserve power during a heat wave that coincided with six power plant outages.

Climate change has made Texas heat both hotter and longer lasting. The average daily minimum and maximum temperatures in Texas have both increased by 2.2 degrees Fahrenheit in the last 125 years. The state just saw its hottest December on record since 1889.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner responded to ERCOT's request late Sunday night with the following tweet. He has asked all city departments to prepare for the worst-case scenario.

What The Fox?

Hello.

Again, watching wildlife from a distance is safer than going near.

Can we do a Darwin Award for the most stupidest people on the planet?

You can't fix stupid!

You can't change minds!

You are completely trapped in stupid.

You are wrapped and emboldened in stupid.

Again, why do white people always treat wild animals like they're domesticated?

I would never touch a wild animal.

Alas, some people think that animals are timid when you're petting them. Nope.

Wildlife seen in urban areas (excluding fish, birds and insects):

1. Squirrels
2. Chipmunks
3. Field mouse
4. Gray rat
5. Possum
6. Skunk
7. Deer
8. Fox
9. Coyote
10. Bear

A man was bitten by a rabid fox. The animal bit a Prattville resident and it has tested positive for rabies, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.

The incident happened on July 1 after the fox attacked the resident’s dog, ADPH said. Prattville police responded to the call, and wildlife officials helped secured the rabid animal for testing.

The victim has started rabies treatment and will be taking their dog to a vet’s office for a rabies booster, ADPH confirmed.

“This is another reminder to get your pets vaccinated against rabies regardless of where you live,” said Dr. Dee W. Jones, State Public Health Veterinarian. “We have found rabies positives in both domestic animals and wildlife very close to the most populated parts of Autauga County this year.”

Rabies is found primarily in raccoons, with the raccoon strain being the most common threat to our domestic animals. Jones said additional testing is being done to determine if this fox had the raccoon strain, “which is helpful for biologist and wildlife agencies when trying to best to control it.”

Alabama state law requires that dogs, cats and ferrets older than 12 weeks be current with rabies vaccination.

ADPH also recommends residents take the following precautions to avoid rabies exposure:
  • Do not allow pets to run loose; confine them within a fenced-in area or with a leash
  • Do not leave uneaten pet food or scraps near your residence
  • Do not illegally feed or keep wildlife as pets
  • Do not go near wildlife or domestic animals that are acting in a strange or unusual manner
  • Caution children not to go near any stray or wild animal

It's the unfortunate cause and effect of animals and people.

I've said it before and I stand by what I say: "Wild animals are......well you know!"

If you want to be a thrill seeker, you might want to get life insurance.

To avoid fox attacks, do not leave food out. Cover trash cans. Keep small cats and dogs in sight whenever they are in open yards. Get animal repellant like pepper spray. Shake pennies in a coffee can.

Foxes hunt at all times but mostly at night. They eat small animals and are known to be in many urban areas.

WWE To Fire Vince McMahon Out The Cannon!

WWE is going to erase Vince McMahon.

It appears I am going to have a 2022 list of losers.

The World Wrestling Entertainment company is dealing with a huge scandal involving embattled CEO, Vince McMahon, Jr.

McMahon allegedly paid off numerous mistresses and keeping it off the books.

He had four mistresses. He paid over $12 million to keep them quiet.

Over the past 16 years, McMahon suppressed allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity, the Wall Street Journal reports. He has been doing it for decades. Don't believe the 16 years nonsense. He literally had allegations going back to the 1980s.

The amount is significantly larger than what was previously known.

Four women — all formerly affiliated with WWE — signed agreements with McMahon, 76, that bar them from discussing their relationships with him, the Journal reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the deals and documents it reviewed.

McMahon stepped down as CEO and chairman of WWE in mid-June during an investigation into the alleged misconduct and the Journal reported at the time that he had agreed to pay $3 million to a former paralegal who said he sexually harassed her on the job. This mistress went on record and accused him of being a sexual predator. McMahon will continue to oversee WWE's creative content during the investigation.

So that's apparently why Stephanie McMahon took a leave of absence. It was because of her dad having an affair with one of her workers. She took over as interim CEO. She is married to former WWE wrestler Triple H.

McMahon's wife Linda is former Small Businesses Administration official under Washed Up 45. She is a top lead in the Save America PAC and is a top executive for WWE.

He has cheated on her for years and stayed with him. Of course, the far right obsessed with former president Bill Clinton's alleged affairs and why Hillary Clinton stayed.

Birds of a feather.

Washed Up 45 allegedly cheated on the former first lady. He has been accused of being a sexual predator as well.

Vince McMahon has been the leader and most recognizable face at WWE for decades.

When he purchased what was then the World Wrestling Federation, from his father in 1982, wrestling matches took place at small venues and appeared on local cable channels.

Army General Out After Dig At FLOTUS!

Retired Army general out for attacking First Lady Jill Biden.

Active military are not allowed to criticize the commander in chief. If you're in military uniform, the criticism of the commander in chief will result in severe consequences.

A three-star retired U.S. Army general who was under contract as a consultant to the military after he retired has had his deal with Army suspended and is currently under investigation for a tweet mocking First Lady Jill Biden.

According to USA Today, Retired Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky, who previously served as the Army's chief spokesperson, took a shot at Biden on Twitter after she commented on the Supreme Court's controversial dismantling of Roe v.Wade.

Volesky is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who commanded of I Corps from 2017 to 2020. He previously served as commander of the 101st Airborne Division and commander of the American ground forces in Iraq as part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve. Volesky retired in February 2020, being succeeded by Lieutenant General Randy George as commander of I Corps.

After the first lady tweeted, "For nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies. Today, that right was stolen from us," Volesky replied in a sneering post stating, "Glad to see you finally know what a woman is," a reference to a question asked of newly-seated Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson during her Senate confirmation hearings by conservatives opposed to her seating.

Didn't think folks would notice!

According to the report, Volesky had agreed to a contract after he retired in 2020 that required him to advise active-duty officers at $92 per hour -- but the contract is now on hold.

Alerted to the tweet, Lt. Gen. Theodore Martin of the Combined Arms Center pulled the plug on Volesky's deal while an investigation is undertaken over whether he violated decorum rules for retired officers.

According to a report from Axios, this is not the first time the retired general has taken a shot at a woman on Twitter, with Axios reporting, "Volesky responded to a tweet from Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) when she announced that she would be on the Jan. 6 select committee and that their 'oath to the Constitution must be above partisan politics,'" with the retired officer replying, "This is all about partisan politics."
